I started putting coconut oil in my coffee and it's so yummy! It's great for speeding up your metabolism in the AM. Looks trippy too. For those of you who can't hang with black coffee adding a splash of nut milk and stevia is a tasty alternative.

First 3 Days: Already A Rollercoaster
Sep 1st marked day 1 of my 90 day journey to achieve a model physique so I can finally follow my dream of being a high fashion model. It started off strong with morning Yoga With Adriene and Insanity videos followed by a healthy breakfast. That is until I took the time to write my first 2 updates only for it to disappear into Tumblr oblivion!! Needless to say, my spirits were dampened and I gradually spiraled out of my newfound routine. However, I finished strong on day 1, sticking to healthy eating as best I could. Already, I was struggling with this new strict diet I threw upon myself. For instance, when ordering a late lunch at Homegrown, a local all natural eatery, I went with the tri-tip and melted cheddar on GF when given plenty of healthier options. Plus I just couldn't part with my daily string cheese! All in all, these eating choices weren't too bad and the night ended with lentil soup, some prunes, baby carrots and yes... one more string cheese. Oh yeah and a big bowl of Raisin Bran to top it off. I try. Yesterday, day 2, was when things really started to fall apart. I woke up a little later than usual and the lazy Saturday mood was already pulling me away from doing my morning yoga and Insanity. I decided I'd have my coffee before jumping into things only to get completely sidetracked by the provocative new groceries my parents stocked up on. I found myself stuffing my face with pretzel sticks and Krispy Kreme frosted mini donuts as I came to realize the day was not going to go as smoothly as the one before. I told myself I would do the videos I neglected in the morning at night when I got off work but that never happened. Instead I went over to a friend's for his birthday and indulged in sweets, munchies and booze. I didn't get in bed until about 5 am this morning, completely fucking my sleep schedule (which was a lovely 12-8a). I did stay true to drinking my daily gallon of water which I started doing a week ago- I will write a separate post about that journey soon enough. So at noon when I woke up today, things were looking bleak. In a span of 48 hours I had a really strong start and my first fall off the horse. But you know what? That's totally fine. I'm human and adapting to a supermodel's health & fitness regimen is going to take some getting used to. It's going to take time. All I can do now is get back on that horse and give it another go. My best effort's not always going to be pretty but eventually I'll be able to get through the day with a lot more strength and ease. Today I still avoided doing yoga or insanity but I did stick to a healthy diet. I didn't eat much after pigging out so hard last night but when I did I made it count. Coffee for breakfast, vegan protein shake for lunch, grilled steak and zucchini for dinner. After I click post on this update I'm taking the dog on a late night walk so I won't be completely sedentary. Reflecting on the first few days, I would say my two biggest sources of failure are my lack of planning/cooking meals and the fact I smoke weed continuously throughout the day. Looking back on my food records, I realize I do so much grazing because I'm too lazy to think up a meal. Eating a bunch of smaller meals throughout the day is a good habit however not when it's a perpetual chain of string cheeses and fat ass bowls of cereal. As for smoking, I'm just not the kind of person who can smoke weed and remain productive sans munchies. It completely shakes up my day and I need to really work on immediately starting my day with working out so I relieve that extra stress and am less likely of picking up the bong later on when I'm stressed out and need a breather. That pretty much sums up what I feel I've neglected to report from the first 3 days of my challenge. I will try to keep posts about half this length as so not to bore you all but I had to start somewhere. Below are my food records from the last 3 days, still deciding if I should post these daily or not. If anyone has any tips on how to ease into a new routine, I'd love to hear them! -Chey

Welcome to Making A Model
Yoooo,
I’m Cheyanne and I live in Washington state. I am making the switch from lobstercarcus to supermodel-enroute over the next 3 months as I’ll be documenting my health & fitness journey to achieve the body necessary to make it as a high fashion model. At the end of this journey, I will go to an open call at Seattle Models Guild, the most reputable agency in the region, to find out if my hard work has paid off. 
Seem like a far-fetched fantasy? Yes, but I’ve aspired to model since I was a little girl and having just turned 22, I don’t have any experience to show for. I’m closer to the age most high fashion supermodels retire and well, something’s gotta give. Even if my chances are already slim, If I wait any longer I will miss what opportunity I still have and always wonder, “What if?”
On Sep. 1st I will begin a strict, healthy diet/exercise plan I’ve constructed after doing some handy google research into the lifestyles of today’s most famous models. I’ve handpicked  guidelines from various diets (plant-based, organic, alkaline) I personally believe will be the easiest to adapt. As for exercise, I intend to do Insanity videos 6x/week with Sundays dedicated to rest as well as daily yoga to keep my mind and body a little sane. 
I should stress that however strict and drastic this journey will be, I am putting my well being first. I will never starve or exhaust myself to achieve this transformation. I going to earn this body the healthy way and this blog will be a space where health and overall well being are always being promoted.
Over the course of the next 3 months, I will be documenting the physical, mental and emotional obstacles this lifestyle change will create for me. It’s not going to be easy and my posts will be honest accounts of the struggles I will face on the day to day to pursue a lifelong dream. 
I can only hope that my words reach someone who is inspired by my experiences and can incorporate some of the lessons I learn into their own aspirations, modeling/fitness/health related or not.
