Late Night Warmth

Imagine all you wanted your whole life was a hug.

Imagine just getting someone’s arms wrapped around you. Someone to kiss...Cuddle...

All you’ve wanted was someone’s warmth and love. Their warmth overtaking your body as you laid there. Only showered in pure love, a flutter in your heart, and a content feeling inside your beating heart.

Back then you would’ve done anything for that. And once you had achieved it, you would promise yourself to cherish that person’s love and affection. No matter what. Sealing it in your heart and absorbing all of their care for you. Similar to a sponge for water. Feeling it fill you pr empty heart up, and you’d do nothing but enjoy and cherish the moment.

Something that was true and genuine love.

3:45 am.

Hayakawa Aki’s arms were around you.

His warm and slow breath felt on the top of your head. A warm and comfortable feeling lingering in the air as the soft mattress and bed were surround you two. The fabric brushing against your skin as you would move.

His arms filled with warmth and care. Never hurting you, squeezing you too hard, or anything. Just pure care for your body. As if you were glass about to break if he had squeezed too hard. His skin brushed against yours if he moved, being careful not to disrupt you.

He was wondering why you came. He wondered why you came from the cold of the night. Getting goosebumps and coldness overtaking your skin. Which was now being replaced with warmth taking over your body slowly but surely. Physically and mentally.

His arm snakes around your body once more, pulling you closer into the warm and soft frantic of his shirt. You felt the cotton go against your cheek as your head was in his chest.

Your neck then moved to look up. Disrupting your streak of staying still in his warmth for about 15 minutes now. He looked down at you, pillow brushing against his head as his neck looked down at you.

His throat prepared to speak up, mouth opening and voice ready to be let out to ask why you came. However it was disrupted as he felt something on his lips. It was your lips.

Your body had moved up and rubbed against the fabric to pull him towards you closer, as your lips slowly touched his.

It took him a moment to process it, however his mind had set in and took awareness of it. His shoulders slumping as relaxation overtook him. Along with pure love and a mix of other emotions go through his veins. Love, a butterfly in his stomach, his heart beating faster, his pupils expanding, a skip in his heart...

He felt pure joy and a fire go through him, making his heart skip a beat. It had felt like you got a match, and lit up a fire in his heart.

Your lips pressed against his as you both pulled each other closer. Feeling a rush of emotions go through your bodies.

As few seconds had gone by, and you both had to pull away for some air.

Breaths were heard in the air as you lightly panted. Filling more warmth in the already warm air.

He opened his blue eyes to look at you, taking your features in. His eyes absorbing your appearance which he had always loved to see. The appearance which would always light that fire in his chest.

Once again, he had opened his mouth to speak. His voice getting ready to let sound out along with his words, his throat preparing to speak.

However, as he opened his mouth, you merely put a finger over his lips that were still warm from the kiss.

Your warm skin radiated onto his lips.

He was a bit confused, his mind racing for options on why. However before he could come up with something, your jaw flexed as you spoke first. Voice echoing through the air, as you said some words to him.

“Don’t speak.”

“Just enjoy the moment while we can, because we might as well love each other as much as we can in case it ends in the future.”

Your lips then curled and warped into a smile, a smile that would always make Aki’s heart skip a beat.

Before his mind could have enough time to fully process the words you had said, he felt your lips warmth against his once again. As he felt his heart dance once more.

Ah fuck it, just enjoy the moment while it lasts.

Never know when it’ll end.

Somebody on Reddit said that Megumi is "overrated" and that he's just the standard edgy shonen deuteragonist

Sorry that you saw black spiky hair and a reserved demeanor and thought "edgy"

This is a kid whose screentime consists of him blushing or pouting,

has a curse technique that's basically a violent version of Snow White, but he's edgy??

This is not to say that Megumi is weak; he beat the shit out of bullies in school, has a rather interesting moral code, and, as we've seen recently, will not hesitate to kill if necessary. But "edgy" sounds like an adjective you'd use if you were guessing things about a character from a show you haven't seen yet.

As for "overrated", I actually hate that term because it's a bit egotistical in a way. "Many people like this thing, but I don't, so it's not that good", basically.

Megumi is usually not discussed that much in terms of popularity; hell, his father (who hasn't even appeared in the anime yet) is talked about more. He gets respect because of how hard he's willing to work to better his technique and how far he's willing to go to protect people he cares about. He actually attempted to fight Sukuna, the King of Curses. He's not the strongest yet, but his potential is why people like him (that, and the eyelashes probably).

Buuuut these are the same people who call Gojo a creep and a "groomer" (yes, this is a thing on Twitter) because he hangs around his students in his free time, so bad takes are par for the course.

Megumi would do a very shy job of attempting to say I’m pretty. Maki would probably train with me, kick my ass, and either say I do good or say how she won with a smile like she did with Yuta. Hange from AOT (starting to simofr them low key I’m on season four) she’d probably be sweet and say how good I look? Then maybe invite me to do their studies on Titans- as for Aki if we’re in a relationship he’d probably be the most caring out of all of them and say how he loves me. Out of all of them I’d say Aki and Hange would be the sweetest. Megumi would attempt but be too shy. Maki would kick my ass- 💀

Aki notices when you’re unwell, physically or mentally. He noticed you be more tired than usual this morning, struggling just to get up. Feeling weak. He walked over to you, concerned. As he then pressed a hand to your head, feeling your temperature. The moment he felt it, he knew you had a fever. Also judging by the way you sniffled and had stuffy nose, it was clear you had a cold.

He ushers you to stay home, and to not go out. Ushering you back into bed to let you rest. “You should stay home since you’re sick, don’t push yourself.” He says, as he rubs your forehead affectionately. Feeling the warmth of your head when he looks at you with an empathetic expression.

He puts a blanket over you, constantly telling you to stay warm and to take care of yourself. “You should really take care of yourself better…Put on a jacket next time it rains. I don’t want you getting sick or feeling unwell.” Sweetest man’s ever. He doesn’t get grossed out by any of the “nasty” parts of being sick. He understands it’s human nature, and that it’s natural. So he knows not to be rude by saying derogatory stuff when you sweat or blow your nose. He’s willing to hold your hair back if you throw up. Sweaty sheets? He’ll change it. Need a warm bath but too weak to walk? Hell carry you. Very understanding and is never rude when you’re unwell. Extremely empathetic and overall very understanding.

He would sit by your bed and cut you some apples as you lay there recovering. He knows the variety of stuff you can eat is extremely limited when you're ill, you can't have any good snacks such as popcorn, or any desserts either. So he'll make you some apple bunnies to cheer you up. He'll also get you the good junk foods you like once you're better.

He’d chat with you, telling you some stuff about life, or asking about yours. And maybe even read you a book if you ask. He would also make you soup or whatever can help you during your time of feeling unwell, making stuff that even tastes good while sick- man’s is an amazing cook. Bro can probably quit devil hunting and just become a chef-

Always makes sure you take your medicine at the right time. Never once misses a time. Either that or extremely little times he has missed on giving you your medicine. Supposed to take another spoon at 3:30? He sets an alarm and doesn’t forget. Next spoon at 6:30? Same thing. Sets an alarm and doesn’t miss. Very responsible, and if you say it tastes gross he’ll make you something nice but healthy afterwards as a reward- ^^ He probably wouldn’t sleep directly touching you due to him not wanting to catch your sickness, because he’s still a devil hunter that has to stay well afterall. If you and him know each other for a bit but a long enough time he’ll most likely set a mattress next to the bed you sleep in so he can still sit next to you. Sometimes caressing your hand if it hangs down. However if you and him know each other for a very long time, or are in a very healthy official relationship I think he might sleep next to you. Not directly touching you due to the reasons stated but he’ll watch over you. Making sure your breathing is good, and making sure to have cough drops or tissues by the bedside in case you need it. And despite you being sick, he’ll still press a kiss to your forehead in affection at times.

Overall, he’s very loving and affectionate. Very sweet. And wouldn’t be rude or make you feel gross if you’re sick, which reflects off of his kind personality that goes along with it. He loves you, sick or not. And he would never say “ew” or be grossed out. He’ll make you your favorite desert, or take you out once you’re better as a reward. ^^

Let's get one thing straight: Mans is such a simp, and I mean a BIG SIMP for you. Head over heels in love with you. He'd never let anything happen to his sweet s/o.

If he goes on a call for work let's say, he'd wrap his arm around you while he talks on the phone with his other hand. Mans must feel you at all times. Y'know how people rub the bottom of cat's necks? He does that to you at times.

If you have nightmares he'll stay awake just to make sure you're okay. If you're shorter than him and you sit or lay on him while cuddling he'll pat your head softly.

If let's say he has a lollipop, he'd let you have some of it and has no problem popping it in your mouth. He has no problem with indirect kisses and stuff like that especially if you and him are already in a relationship.

If you stand for a while and there's no other seats he'll sit you down on his lap.

If he has time he'll randomly take you out to go shopping at times, especially when he notices your clothes getting too tight or if your clothes don't fit you well anymore.

He'd hold your hand in large crowds so he doesn't lose you.

He really likes relaxing with you on cold days. Hot cocoas with him are the best-

Loves hugging you a lot secretly. He loves you touch and doesn't mind you falling asleep on his stomach or in his arms. If you're about to drift to sleep onto him and your shirt trails up your stomach, he'll pull it down chuckling a bit. "Your stomach is showing." He says, chuckling, while tugging it down lightly. He can't help but find it absolutely adorable whenever you fall asleep onto him and you fully relax. Loves feeling you with no stress or worries, just fully submitting to the relaxation.

Speaking of that, on movie nights you and him have he honestly hopes you'll just fall asleep onto him during the movie after a long day. He enjoys the way you relax and just lean your head onto his shoulder. He enjoys little moments like those.

If you're dehydrated he'll get a water bottle and prop it to your lips, telling you to drink some water and to stay hydrated. "You haven't drank much water, drink some water. It's bad for your organs if you don't drink enough."

When drunk he gets wayyy more touchy. He would hug you more, kiss you more, and would even sometimes just flop onto you. Resting his head on your lap while passing out.

When I mentioned he was a simp for you, I meant it. He'd punch someone in the gut or face for you if someone bothered you a little bit. Training with someone and they go to far? They'll get a yelling from him along with a fist to the face and sometimes gum stuck to their clothes afterwards.

Would wipe your tears with his thumb softly if you cried. Very good at comforting. ------------- Random Scenario time

His thumb lightly wiped the tears that dripped out of your eyes after a breakdown you had just had. You went through a rough time, and felt stress and anxiety bottle up inside of you for the past few days. Almost like an explosive about to just explode inside of you. You ran your fingers through his shirt, and he felt some wetness come onto his shirt when your tears fell down onto him. He didn't care though, and in fact he barely noticed it as he lightly pat your head, calming you down. Assuring you with sweet words that it'll be okay, and that he's there for you. His calm voice lightly went into your ears as he massaged your hair and rubbed your back,

"Shh...Shh, calm down. It's okay, I'm here now."

Your breathing slowly calmed, as you eventually took slow breaths. He pulled you closer to him, rubbing his hand through your back lightly.

"It's okay, I'm here now, see? You're doing so well baby..."

He said, as your continued to breath slowly onto him. He wrapped his other arm around you, doing anything to calm you down further.

A few minutes later, you laid there with him in silence, him continuing to snake his arms around you and feel your breath.

"I'll make you whatever you like tonight...You want some pho? I can make you that for you if you want. Anything you want I'll try to make."

You nodded your head, feeling his touch and smelling his scent. You felt yourself slowly melt further and further into his touch, slowing your breathing.

"That's it...You're doing great, just continue to breath for me."

He said, pulling your shirt down a bit since it was cold.

You and him continued laying there in bliss, feeling all worries drift away like you two were on clouds.

You continued laying with him as your worries melted away. For once feeling at peace.

I feel so damn cringe writing these help- 😭 well uh if these provide comfort for you then I wish the best and thank you for reading. 🥲

More Aki Relationship Headcanons

I still hate you all for infecting me. -^-

Warnings: None. Sfw, pure fluff, and gender neutral reader as always.

- This man loves cuddling you the more you get to know him. Likes when you sit on his lap.

- Brushes your hair for you. Very gentle and does soft strokes.

- If you sleep in the same bed as him (non sexually you dirty minded mfer) he’d always wrap his arms around you, must have you close to him.

- If you brush your teeth next to him he’ll go close to you just to touch you a bit.

- If you know him longer then he’ll tie your shoelaces for you if they get untied.

- VERY good at being a therapist it’s scary. Anything you need he’s on it. Toxic friend? Aki will give you advice. Paranoia? He got you covered.

- If you feel really sad or going through a hard time he’ll turn on music and slow dance with you just to surprise you. And he’ll lightly chuckle at your flustered face.

- If you glance at an item in a store and you want it but don’t have enough, he’s on it. Man’s is paying for it no matter how many times you say it’s okay.

- If you’re sleeping and it’s cold he’ll put a blanket over you while lightly patting your head in your sleep. ^^ And If there’s no blanket he’s wrapping his suit around you.

- He’d let you paint his nails. With some convincing he’ll match with you if you want. If Himeno can convince him to get piercings you can convince him in this.

- If you’re on the couch he’ll randomly at times pull you onto him.

- Kisses you on the cheek or forehead a lot.

Random scenario:

Your finger had been injured due to a mission, however you decided to go out with your co-workers anyways. The place that was decided was a bowling alley, in which...You were left just sitting there since you couldn't roll the ball. That's when you looked up to see Aki grabbing one, and rolling it down. He turned to look at you as he spoke:

"That one was for you."
