Oh also happy Halloween month or something, take this fancy-ish Arabian inspired piece I made in about an hour

Sidenote, I absolutely love Arabian culture, like I love the music and art and architecture- especially architecture, that shits gorgeous. Hopefully this doesn’t count as cultural appropriation though, I’m not claiming to be Arab or Middle-Eastern or anything, literally just my appreciation for their culture

Read on for bit of a vent/update from me.

I don’t know if any of you know this- you probably do, but just to be safe- but I’m a really big critic of myself. I definitely chock it up as “haha, self-esteem say bye bye”, but it’s actually a really serious issue that prevents me from living my life to the fullest.

But hey, you never get better if you don’t push yourself, so you know what? That’s what I’m doing- I’m actually starting to take care of myself. I’ll be drawing a bit of this metaphorical road to self-love for you all to see, but I won’t be following a schedule or anything.

Speaking of schedules, for the two people wondering where Pokémon: Past and Future went, it’s not going anywhere. I have a story figured out, I have lore, I have designs, I just… can’t draw the comics for some reason? I don’t know, ask my hands. Anyway, it’ll be uploaded eventually. I might just write a novel, but oh well, we’ll see what happens.

Anyways, just for context: my skin is dry as hell and somehow also breaks out like crazy, so I’ve definitely been trying to do something about that recently. My skincare routine isn’t crazy or anything like that, but hey, you gotta start somewhere.

You know that phase every artist inevitably goes through at some point in their life? The one where they’re like “I wanna start drawing NSFW” and then they do and go on to either become famous on Twitter or regret it for the rest of their life?

I want to know so badly what the equivalent is for artists born before the internet. Like, did Michelangelo ever draw gay porn to “get better at drawing male anatomy”?

And they had to do it on physical paper, so are you telling me that somewhere on earth there could be a stash of Da Vinci’s weird fetish art just collecting dust? That is vital information, it could literally shake art history, topple the French Salons (if they still held any semblance of power), and make museum curators giggle just a bit more, and I am living for ALL of it.

Small NSFW Art complaints that will make Tumblr’s moderators probably mad

Latex suits.

Y’all. Y’all.

I get it. We all love a latex moment on guys. We all like to put the sluttiest and tightest rubber pants on our most well-endowed men.

But come on now. If it’s so tight I can see where different parts of the Cumshooter 9000 start and end, to the point where I have to double-take and see if the guy is actually wearing a suit or is actually naked and just has neon-colored skin, there’s a problem.

If that were the case, two other things have to be true:

1. He’s not wearing underwear, which is generally a good idea for an extra layer of protection when the guy in question is a superhero, as these types of art so often include.

2. The pants themselves are so tight that they might be cutting off blood flow and will be a bitch to take off, like swimming trunks when you get out of a pool.

I get it, we all want to see some dick every now and then, and sometimes we have to sacrifice realism to get what we want, but both of the things I listed are, you know, not good, so as much as I like the outlines and the definition and the whatever, if it’s taking me out of the immersion, then it just turns into a huge turn-off.
