"The creators asked for a small blurb of a song for a bit in one of the episodes and got this whole ass piece of art instead. The actor for the asshole-capitalist-snob character is the lead singer of the song. Canonically, the archivist in the show wrote this song with his band and has it on his work playlist. It stands on its own fabulously and slaps all the way home. I love this song, and it is one of the top three podcast songs I listen to on loop. 10/10 would recommend this banger, and I am in pain forever that Morior Invictus is a single for a podcast and not on a full album because I want more."

My bachelor's thesis, INTO THE ARCHIVES, is a TMA fanzine that presents 18 episodes from season 1 of The Magnus Archives as pages of the archivist’s journal, including 50+ fully rendered illustrations.

The zine will be available as a free PDF download on my website this July!

Into The Archives is based on the The Magnus Archives podcast by Rusty Quill, which was originally written by Jonathan Sims and Alexander J. Newall. Text from the episodes I’ve taken has been edited down, reworded and illustrated by me to create this zine :)
