Seen criticism abt the way Ibuki's being written so far, due to him being native Okinawan and his idol story playing into stereotypes, according to some people ("joking" that the security is being xenophobic by not letting him in, dragging a dead bear around "to eat")... I'm not in a position to really comment but I do wonder how irl native Okinawans are feeling abt this

The shuffle song being named "Ringing evil phone" is hilarious to me for all the obvious reasons, but also because of the fact that Ritsu speaks fluent English (Operetta). While I'd assume the rest of them got a translation, Ritsu almost 100% knows exactly how ridiculous that sounds from a full English perspective and decided to go with it because on god he needs to see how this turns out.
Every time he sings that title in a sexy whisper™️ along with four people other people who Do Not Realize he probably thinks it's the absolute funniest shit and gleefully hopes Eichi is regretting ever approving this (meanwhile Tsukasa came to support his senior and is currently having an aneurysm in the front row).

Info / Explanations for the Curious
All ages are one year up from their currently listed age. The newly released ages for 4Piece are confirmed to be before their current year birthdays, meaning they will age up during the year.
While Jin and Akiomi's ages are currently listed in !!/ES1 Era as 31-32 and 29-30 on their profiles, respectively, these ages are not widely agreed upon, due to them not lining up with the Main Story's stated ages (which would be one year younger for each). Therefore, I used a wider range encompassing both of these possible ages.
Rinne and Niki never attended high school, and Niki therefore did not graduate with any of the ! Era third years, while Rinne would have been a third year during the War, had he attended.
Rei was held back due to his time abroad in his second year, making him one year older than the other ! Era Yumenosaki third-years, which he graduated with.
Tatsumi and Ritsu were both held back in their second years, due to Tatsumi's hospitalization and Ritsu's chronic absences due to his condition and lack of motivation, making them one year older than the other !!/ES1 Era third-years. Therefore, Ritsu recently graduated from Yumenosaki at the end of !!/ES1 Era March, while Tatsumi graduated from Reimei Academy around the same time.
Kaname was a first year alongside Jun during the Reimei Revolution (while Tatsumi was a second-year). Therefore, had he not been rendered comatose, he would have graduated Reimei Academy with Jun at the end of the !!/ES1 Era, making him the same age as the other !!/ES1 Era third years.
Hitsugi was admitted to the producer course during !!/ES1 Era as a second year, much like Anzu the year before, placing his age as the same as the other current !!!/ES2 third years. (While Hitsugi is 17-18 NEGI identifies as his older sister, likely putting her conscious around the age Hitsugi's original older sister died).
Current HiMERU's age is unknown, though he's older than Kaname and ran away young after his mother died, having never known about Kaname's existence until many years later. Therefore, his age range is typically placed in the early 20s, the most common estimate putting him around Rinne's age.

In the ruins of what had been Nasser hospital, the biggest in southern Gaza, Reuters saw emergency workers in white hazmat suits digging corpses out of the ground with hand tools and a digger truck. The emergency services said 73 more bodies had been found at the site in the past day, raising the number found over the week to 283.
Gaza authorities say the bodies recovered so far are from just one of at least three mass graves they have found at the site.
"We expect to find another 200 bodies at the same mass grave in the coming two days before we will begin working at the two other cemeteries," Ismail Al-Thawabta, director of the Hamas-run government media office, told Reuters.
He accused Israel of carrying out "executions" at the hospital and covering up the crimes by burying bodies with a bulldozer. Israel strongly denies having carried out executions.

Today is Armenian genocide remembrance day. On april 24, 1915 started mass deportations of hundreds of Armenian intelectuals and community leaders, who were (most of the time) eventually killed. Armenian women and children were systematically r//ed and forcibly converted into islam. There were more than 2 milion Armenians in ottoman empire prior to ww1, 1,5 milion of them were viciously killed. Three millennia of Armenian civilaziation in eastern Anatolis was fully destroyed. Turkey today refuses to acknowledge genocides of christian minorities in early 20th century.
Do you know that mass ethnic cleansing of Armenians in ottoman empire inspired Lemkin to coin the term 'genocide'?
Last year in september azerbaijan allied with turkey initiated a war against Armenia. More that 5000 Armenians were murdered, thousands of Armenia families had to live their ancestrial land to not get murdered. There are hundreds of vids on internet where armenian p.o.w.s are tortured. Recently azerbaijan opened a "museum" displayind dead or dying Armenians and kids were allowed to visit it.

enstars twitter cares too much about the game plot i think. that never mattered to me what i’m invested in is the character development and i can ignore anything i want for those purposes. “tetora went undercover in an evil idol organization and witnessed a murder” no he didn’t. that entire event was fabricated to make chiaki and tetora finally confront each other and resolve their post-comet show issues. not like the writing actually takes tetora’s potential trauma into account at all
#literally the most enjoyable way to consume enstars imo#i watched ninjago religiously when i was young (and still keep up with the series every other year)#and im thankful bc i feel it really instilled in me the ability to understand how series can have both good and bad aspects#and how you cometimes have one intertwined with the other and you just gotta live with it and enjoy what you do#i love critique anyone who knows me irl knows i do not stfu about any aspect of anything lmao#but enstars does still have good character dynamics even when the plot is insane a d nonsensical#and even though i critique the lot i do still enjoy the characters in certain stoies where the plot is not the best#you just gotta live with the fact that youll have critiques but still wanna enjoy something basically imo#!! era is more plot based but does still have good dynamics (matrix was a clusterfuck but i still love alkakurei a lot for example)#so i just. read and enjoy (or dont) and have fun engaging with the series as a whole#reblog#ensemble stars#enstars#ensemble stars music#enstars analysis#tetora nagumo#enstars supervillain
