HANG OUT WITH THEM
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i. part two: hang out with these characters (part one)
ii. gender neutral. reader | unedited version (lmk if I used any gendered terms!)
iii. cw: spoilers in manga (chrollo's part), mentions of death, massacre/slaughter, torture, trauma, and violence. stealing, fluff & semi-angst (?)
iv. characters: gon freecs, killua zoldyck, kurapika kurta, chrollo lucilfer, feitan portor.
Tumblr media
GON FREECS
You hang out with the boy a lot as the two of you develop a rapport with one another and grow closer. The two of you would often be perched on top of a tree branch as he casts his fishing line into the middle of a swamp. He would ask you questions about your past, how you lived in YorkNew City, and even about yourself constantly while he was fishing.
Talking to Gon is comforting, although he is extremely enthusiastic. You might find yourself baffled as to how he appears to be fulfilled while not harboring any unwelcome feelings or thoughts. But naturally, that wasn't the only thing. He would take you around the town's outskirts. And to pass the time if you were in his place, you two would play a variety of board games.
KILLUA ZOLDYCK
When Gon wasn't allowed to practice Nen for two months because of his injudicious decision of fighting Gido, you and Killua trained together without Nen because Killua don't want Gon to be left behind. Since neither of you was particularly talkative throughout your training session-unlike Gon, who frequently emits a lot of commotion when the three of you are together-it was really awkward and silent.
You're just reluctant to approach him because you two weren't really close. But even so, he would give you advice on how to grow more powerful and tell you about what you should concentrate on. As an outcome, the more you two trained together over the course of the two months, the closer you two grew.
The two of you are hardly alone together unless it involves training, combat, etc. The three of you traveled to Whale Island after leaving Heaven's Arena to meet Mito Freecs, Gon's aunt, and Abe, his great-grandmother. They were quite friendly to you, and his great-grandmother told you and Killua plenty of stories about Gon. Gon once left the two of you because his aunt asked him to go get some supplies she needed to prepare later.
You offered your assistance to Aunt Mito with the laundry. Killua was watching you as you washed the clothes since he isn't really sure how he can help you or do things like that. He would speak about his experiences and escapades as an experienced assassin, a member of the notorious Zoldyck family, and the future heir to the family to keep you entertained. However, it wasn't all that entertaining to hear about how he was actually tortured as a baby.
You also shared your stories with him when you were younger. Being from your typical family, you didn't find it particularly interesting. To your surprise, Killua laughed and thought you were humorous when you were younger because of both your foolishness and your intrepid nature. You attempted tossing him your left slippers, but he deftly sidestepped it. Indeed, the day was enjoyable.
KURAPIKA KURTA
(Prior to the massacre of the Kurta Clan)
He would come and see you in your leisure time and encourage you to read in the neighborhood library with him. You would undoubtedly concur that it is Kurapika after all. You two would sit side by side on the couch in the serene library, and before starting a new book, he would offer that you execute an exchange. For instance, he may recommend a book to you and vice versa.
The majority of the novels he read are far more serious than you may think. He always recommends history or biographies of philosophers who lived a century ago, as well as crime, mystery, and science fiction, works. Despite how much you like it, you feel a little ashamed about the works you're recommending to him since they seem so plain to him. [Unless you have the same taste w/ him]
Most of your hangouts are just solitude and calm, but you like that tranquility. Along with Pairo, the three of you are going to stay in the forest as you three would for an adventurous hangout. You would capture fish or other creatures that are suitable for human consumption.
(After the massacre of the Kurta Clan)
You feel much closer to your childhood friend now that you've seen him again. He lost his positive outlook since, as you are aware, criminals killed the members of his clan. If you were in his position, you wouldn't have any optimism at all. Therefore, you are always at his side to lessen his sense of isolation and provide him with emotional support. A conversation with him may be quite intense and passionate. He would often speak to you late at night about his unsaid emotions, his grief, his trauma, his enmity, and the survivor's guilt.
He's still a huge book nerd, so you two would borrow books from the local library and read them together while relaxing in the calm setting. You are just brought back to the past by it.
CHROLLO LUCILFER
(When you were still living in Meteor City)
Chrollo introduced you to Father Lisores, the owner of the church that you saw. (First chapter) And now, you're affiliated with him because you look like you're on the verge of death and he pities you. In exchange for your assistance with his charitable endeavors and your assistance each time there is a mass for children and other Meteor City residents, he provides you with a place to live, food, and other requirements.
Furthermore, you got to know some of Chrollo's friends. They all treated you well, but Chrollo is the one you get along with the best. Despite the difficulties of his life, he is bursting with positive energy. He frequently stops by the church and enjoys bringing you unusual items.
Most of your time together would be spent in the church's rear chamber, where he would show you other items and instruct you in speaking Gelman. (In the universe of Hunter x Hunter, probably English). His discoveries and his astute thinking never fail to captivate you. He frequently blushes when you praise him, but in all honesty, he kind of craves it since he wants to impress you.
Chrollo requested you, Sarasa, and Pakunoda to voice dub a Mighty Sweepin' Power Cleaners VHS tape into your mother tongue so that the kids in Meteor City could watch and understand the episode. It gave you an immense thrill to voice-dub the role that was given to you, and it warmed your heart to see the children moved and enthralled.
(Phantom Troupe / After the slaughter of Kurta Clan)
After Sarasa's death, Phantom Troupe was established with the intention of exacting retribution. You presently hold the fourth rank and are a member of the Phantom Troupe, a group of malevolent thieves. You two don't spend much time together since Chrollo is so busy keeping up his leadership role, looking for items that can be of great use to the group, or if he wants to steal a particular item. In fact, it only happens once in a blue moon.
But you can't blame him after all. Though when all of you are gathered up for a meeting, he would give you pieces of jewelry, books, and others that you love, which you presumably think that he stole, it feels nice that he's thinking about you.
While waiting for the remainder of the members to arrive, you would speak with them about significant topics and share what you had learned from your mission. His responses to you are brief since he is still engaged with the book he is reading. You feel sort of sad about it but chose to not complain.
FEITAN PORTOR
While the troupe was in York New, he would pay you many visits at the gaming shop where you work, and would practically gaze at you as if you were a ghost or something - well, he's waiting for you to end your shift. You can't concentrate on your work due to his scary glances, and he physically stares at everyone that walks into the shop.
You would advise him to cease doing that after your shift, but he would act unaware even though he understood what you meant. You two would saunter through the Saloma Mall, only glancing at the merchandise in the storefront windows, not bothering to go inside because you're saving up your money.
But there was a time when you spotted a bracelet that piqued your curiosity, but it was so pricey that your wage wasn't sufficient to pay for it. Feitan was aware of this but remained silent. After dropping you off at your flat, he goes to the shop where you spotted the bracelet you like and snatches it violently.
He handed you the bracelet the next day. Unaware that he had stolen it, you were perplexed by how he was able to purchase it. When you questioned about how he was able to afford it, he just said that they were confidential.
Feitan isn't a particularly chatty person, and neither are you, but whenever he comes to see you while you're at work, you strike up a conversation with him, and honestly, talking to him is much more comfortable than talking to other people because he's direct and doesn't sugarcoat his words, which is what you like best.
He just listens to your rambling while paying attention to what you're saying, but he obviously won't be overt about it. The two of you would play video games in your flat after your shift. Because he has a strong sense of competition, he usually defeats you. He constantly invited Phinks and Shalnark as well.

FIRST MEET
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i. part one: your first meet with these characters. (part two here)
ii. gender neutral. reader | not proofread (lmk if I used any gendered terms!)
iii. characters: gon freecs, killua zoldyck, kurapika kurta, chrollo lucilfer, feitan portor.
Tumblr media
GON FREECS
You and your family just recently relocated to Whale Island, primarily due to financial problems. You weren't particularly against the notion of relocating to the countryside, but you'll miss the city life in YorkNew. In order to become accustomed with the town, you first wanted to explore it.
While you were exploring, some of the locals approached you due to your new demeanor. Speaking with so many new individuals was a little challenging for you, but it was also quite a bit of enjoyment. You were strolling after shopping for new clothes in a store when you stumbled into a person and fell.
"I'm so sorry!" exclaimed an optimistic voice. You looked up and noticed a boy that seems to be in your age with green spiky hair and hazel eyes. He extended his hand, and you grabbed it.
"It's fine, don't worry," you said with a smile on your face.
"Are you new here? I don't recognize your face; by the way, my name is Gon Freecs!" He introduced himself to you.
"Yeah, I just moved here yesterday. My name is Y/N L/N. Nice to meet you, Gon," you introduced yourself, and the two of you have been acquainted since then.
KILLUA ZOLDYCK
You're Gon's cousin, who also stays on Whale Island. You agreed to accompany him to the 287th hunting exam after learning of his objectives. You were concerned that Gon's negligent conduct may bring him a lot of suffering or, worse, death because he can be rather impetuous when making judgments.
You met Kurapika and Leorio since you were on the same ship as them. During the first phase, you and Gon met a boy your age who had silvery locks and stunning blue eyes that captivated you.
"So, you two are cousins?" Killua asked while the three of you were running. Some of the participants were falling like dominoes due to how exhausted they were, but you chose to ignore them. This is just an endurance test, but they're already failing.
"Yup! Actually, we're like siblings with how close we are and we also grew up together," Gon explained and his smile grew wider. Killua just hummed as a response, while the three of you simultaneously ran together.
Killua is considerably closer to Gon, yet the two of you interact and converse every now and then. Nonetheless, you wished to be more connected to the boy.
KURAPIKA KURTA
You grew up in Lukso Province along with your grandparents (mother side). Ever since your parents were assassinated by an elite assassin when you were 8 years old, your grandparents have taken care of you and ever since that day, you have pledged to seek vengeance on the assassin that killed your parents.
Your grandparents live in the Lukso Province predominantly because it is isolated from the rest of the world, which your grandparents prefer. Your mother moved to Zaban City, where your father dwells, after marrying your father, and shortly thereafter gave birth to you.
You spend your free time keeping an eye on your grandparents' nearby fruit and vegetable shop and entertaining the customers who stop by. A boy with grey eyes and medium golden locks appeared one day. He was a kind customer. He would stop by sometimes and you find him to be quite intriguing.
You later learned his name and that he is a member of the Kurta clan. You two grew closer to one another, and you also met Pairo, his other friend. But the day where he stopped visiting you came and the day turned into months. It was a normal day for you until you heard about the tragedy that was brought upon the Kurta clan. You were substantially devastated by his murder and the death of his clan once the word of their assassination spread throughout the neighborhood and worldwide. But you never knew that he wasn't killed and is the sole survivor of the clan.
CHROLLO LUCILFER
You are a resident of Meteor City, a forsaken city where citizens are not listed in the official records. You have no recollection of your parents or how you ended yourself in the city. You had no idea how you'd survive on your own as a child.
And you're completely aware that you'll die within a week. You're famished, and struggling to move. Your clothes are filthy and coated in dust spots. You witnessed a church while wandering around looking for food and approaching it carefully, utilizing your residual stamina.
The church's doors were closed, but not locked, thus you were able to open them by pushing them. The church was not equally huge as cathedrals, but it was vast and expansive for a city that had been abandoned. The walls have been coated white and are immaculate, but the ceiling was embellished with various fresco paintings pertaining to Christianity - quite reminiscent of Michelangelo's masterpiece in the Sistine Chapel Ceiling. The windows were shut down, so the sole source of illumination was coming from outside the door.
You sat on the long wooden pew bench, gazing at the hardened asphalt surface, absorbing the misery and starvation that had been devouring your body for days. Your eyes were gradually giving up until you felt a tap on your shoulder that made you flinch. When you turned around, you saw a boy with medium-length black hair and grey eyes, who was looking at you with a smile.
"Hello. My name is Chrollo. Who are you?" he sought out directly, an inquisitive expression on his face. You didn't respond promptly because you were considering all of the possibilities, but you concluded that he might be able to help you. "I'm Y/N...Nice to meet you, Chrollo...," you sloppily said, your hunger returning, and Chrollo appeared to notice.
He reached deep into his pocket and offered you an edible treat. "I'm sorry, this is all I have," he responded nervously, chuckling. While glancing at the snack on his palm, your eyes gleamed. You took it away and opened the treat, but before you bit through it, you smiled at the boy. "Thank you, Chrollo," you said as you devoured the snack. Unbeknownst to you, a pink hue was prominent in his cheeks, but you were too busy eating the food to notice it.
FEITAN PORTOR
You work as a clerk in a game store at YorkNew City's Saloma Mall. Even though working as a clerk isn't really your thing or something you'd enjoy performing, you don't want to rely excessively on your parents when it comes to buying the items you need and paying for your tuition as a college student. You opted to work as a cashier at a game store in order to make money because you are completely aware of how much they are paying and it makes you ashamed to ask them for something you desire.
However, it is a minimal wage. You work for a full 14 hours without ceasing to sleep or even take a break, but periodically you take a nap if there isn't a customer or if your friend Aki is there. You earn 1000 jenny every hour. (I based this on the currency of Japan [yen] + I also searched on Google abt this, so I'm sorry if it's inaccurate.)
It's Thursday, and it's 10:45 p.m. You yawned as you flipped through the pages of the novel you're reading, rereading the lines because all you've been doing for the past few seconds is reading the sentences and not processing or understanding them. "I'm so exhausted..." you whispered to yourself as you flipped over the pages of the book.
But your lackadaisical manner was shattered when a bell on above of the doors chimed, indicating that someone had entered. You noticed two persons enter the shop: a guy with blond hair and two green eyes, and a boy wearing baggy clothes and a skull-embroidered scarf concealing his mouth. He's also much shorter than the guy he's with.
You noticed the two walking around the aisles, looking for a game that piqued their interest. However, based on your insights, the boy with black hair appears to be apathetic in anything, as he simply follows the other person about, sporadically examining something but quickly leaving it, in contrast to the other, who seemed to be extremely thrilled skimming at various videogames.
"Hello, this is what we're getting," you didn't realize that they'd already arrived at the counter. You simply nodded and scanned the three objects he set on the counter.
"Your total is 3500 jenny," you said and placed the three items in a bag. He placed his money on the counter while you gave him the bag, and you began to count the money that he gave. "Oh, but before we leave, my friend here thinks you're attractive; my name is Shalnark, and his name is Feitan! See you later, Miss!" The person dashed away, while the other gazed at you for a brief time before chasing him down.
You're still perplexed by what just occurred while your hand is still occupied with the coins. And it turns out that as Feitan was sitting on the seats inside Saloma Mall waiting for the rest of the troupe, he noticed you wandering about in your uniform. And we'll...he's been watching you ever that particular day, but he's reluctant to approach you.

TANJIRO HEADCANONS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i. a bunch of tanjiro headcanons.
ii. tanjiro x fem. reader
iii. not proofread, unedited ver.
Tumblr media
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✶ 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑 / 𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐎 𝐄𝐑𝐀
━━ 01. Due to his sympathetic nature and friendly behavior, Tanjiro is really fairly well-liked among the Demon Slayer Corps. As a result, he occasionally received love letters thru the crows or in person. He would always reject them, but of course in a nice way.
━━ 02. After a mission, he would visit Senjuro and they would always talk for hours. As a result of his frequent visits, Shinjuro grows fond of him and treats him better than at their initial encounter. After Tanjiro leaves their home, Shinjuro would tear up a little because Tanjiro reminds him of Kyojuro.
━━ 03. Mitsuri invited Tanjiro for lunch but didn't know that she also invited Iguro. During their lunch, Iguro was throwing glare daggers at Tanjiro and he couldn't concentrate on eating at all. When Mitsuri offered him a bite, Iguro's glare became sharper, indicating that he should reject it. So, he did and Mitsuri was a bit sad, but nothing too serious.
━━ 04. He and Kanao had various tea dates each time he visits the Butterfly Mansion or subsequent to getting harmed in a mission that he needs his wounds to recuperate, so the trio is constantly sent off the manor after a mission. He is overjoyed to talk about his experiences and stories about his mission. He also told Kanao stories about his siblings and parents and what he did when he still wasn't a demon slayer. His stories always make Kanao happy.
━━ 05. Kie taught him the fundamentals of cooking before he became a demon slayer, and in just a few months, he was able to prepare a variety of meals. He would therefore volunteer to cook each time he visits the Butterfly Mansion. While he was cooking, the triplets would awe as he worked. Inosuke would make comments like "I can do better," etc., but he really enjoys it, and Zenitsu likes the food he made and gives him praise for it. Kanao quietly enjoys it, and Aoi is just surprised that he can cook pretty well.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✶ 𝐀𝐒 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑
━━ 01. Tanjiro is very loving and devoted to you as his partner. He would always come to see you after a mission and tell you about it. He often strokes the top of your head and gives you cheek kisses, making you feel flustered.
━━ 02. He gifted you a haori, somehow with the same similar design as him and you love it. Every time that he has free time, the two of you would walk in the bustling and radiant streets of Tokyo and eat in a restaurant while watching the fireworks.
━━ 03. He loves when his hands are intertwined with your hand. He enjoys the warm sensation of your hands linked together, so whenever you're on a date with him, he always holds your hand, even if you're simply staying at home.
━━ 04. Tanjiro introduced you to Inosuke and Zenitsu. Inosuke's reaction was of course to challenge you in a fight which made you uncomfortable, while Zenitsu was praising your beauty and instead of Tanjiro being jealous, he agreed with Zenitsu.
"She's really pretty!"
"I know right!"
━━ 05. He also enjoys discussing your future with him. Whether or not you want children-if you don't want them, he's fine with that-as well as the house where you and him will live and any other things you might love. In addition, he enjoys deep conversations with you. He told you how his siblings and parents would have loved you if they had met you. He cries sometimes, but you are always there to console him.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✶ 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑 / 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐍 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐃
━━ 01. As a student, Tanjiro is very close with his professors and other staff from his school well obviously because of his cheerful nature. He always participates during recitation and helps his classmates if they're struggling with something.
━━ 02. He can't play video games that well, so every time he's playing with Inosuke and Zenitsu, Zenitsu ends up winning because all Inosuke does is smash the controller, while Tanjiro doesn't really understand the mechanics that much. Nevertheless, he had a good time playing with them.
━━ 03. He loves to read mangas and novels. His favorite genre is romance and slice of life. One of his favorite anime is Kimi no Todoke and he loves it quite much that he rewatched it at least ten times. He would always ask Zenitsu for recommendations because that guy is a hopeless romantic and an expert when it comes to romance mangas.
━━ 04. He works as a barista in a nearby café to earn money and avoid having to ask his parents for money. Since the café sells a variety of pastries, he would always ask his manager if he could bring the leftovers home, which his manager would always say yes to because Tanjiro is so kind and they can't say no due to how hardworking he is. As a result, he would give his siblings croissants, a slice of cake, or some other treat at the end of the day.
━━ 05. Tanjiro previously didn't have any social media accounts since he doesn't use electronics significantly but Zenitsu insisted that he do so, so he did. His username is probably his name with jammed numbers. His profile picture is a photo with his family, while his bio is something like "I love my family and friends 😊😊🥰🥰😘😘😘". Zenitsu told him how his profile is cringe with all the emojis and the boring username.
Tumblr media
Why do I feel like Tanjiro's phone is a Samsung outdated phone or an iPhone 5 ???

NEW YEAR
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i. xiao x fem. reader
ii. this is my first time writing for a Genshin character, so I apologize if this is cringe. ^^;
iii. not proofread, unedited version.
iv. ooc! xiao. I wrote this around 2021, so yeah, you're going to encounter a lot of cringe moments.
Tumblr media
December has come in Teyvat, and everyone, especially the children, is looking forward to playing in the snow and spending time with their parents and friends.
Despite being an adult, you were nevertheless eager to feel the heavy, chilly snow. It had been a long time since your naked hands had touched snow. It's been years, and now you're returning to Mondstadt, your hometown.
You ran into a particular adeptus while staying at the Wangshu Inn. He was as frigid as ice, and his penetrating look was quite intimidating, but you're an outgoing person, so that was not an obstacle for you to converse with the adeptus.
Unfortunately, those days will come to an end, and you have no choice but to continue your voyage. You've been in the inn for three days, waiting for the many hillichurl camps strewn around to be destroyed, along with the bothersome varied types of hillichurls.
If a regular person with a vision clears it, it will take a week to complete. But it was a piece of cake for the anemo adeptus. He cleared it quickly, clearing the way that leads to the city of freedom."Thank you, Xiao!" You thanked the cold-hearted and bowed, indicating your appreciation for clearing the encampments.
He just stayed quiet. You simply grinned, unconcerned. You tell the adeptus farewell, "Goodbye, Xiao. Let's meet here again when Christmas has passed." After Christmas has over, you weren't certain if he would truly arrive here at the inn.
"I'm not going to show up, so you're just going to waste your time," he said. You didn't say anything, but you know he's not being truthful. How insincere!
"Alright, alright. I get that. Goodbye!" You grasped the large bag that had your clothing and other necessities. You exited the inn and made your way to the road that goes to Mondstadt.
You are not aware that someone is peeking at you. On the inn's balcony, Xiao was observing you see whether you were in jeopardy. After all, you're very foolish, regardless he enjoys your ignorance. And you are the only clueless idiot he accepts. People who are stupid can burn themselves.
He won't say it to you or anyone else, but your obnoxious voice and boisterous spirit will live on in his thoughts and heart. He'll miss your brief encounters about your prior experiences. Perhaps being with you isn't that unpleasant after all. Even though you only left a minute ago, he already misses you and craves your attention.
After a few hours of wandering, you've arrived at Mondstadt, the city of freedom. The chilling breeze and atmosphere made your entire body tremble. You draped your ordinary raven shawl over your neck and fastened it.
You started strolling towards the gates of Mondstadt and noticed two familiar soldiers. Swan and Lawrence are generally the ones protecting the Mondstadt entrance.
You got a glimpse of the city's interior. Various Christmas decorations are hanging everywhere, and beautiful small Christmas-related stickers have been pasted on some of the drab walls to make them more colorful and vibrant.
"Hey, who-? Oh! Miss Y/N, welcome back to Mondstadt!" said the two guards simultaneously. Your face was bright with a smile.
"Thank you, Swan and Lawrence, and Merry Christmas to both of you," you added, still smiling.
"Merry Christmas to you as well, Miss Y/N!" they exclaimed in unison, bowing to you. You said your goodbyes since you still needed to see your brother.
Your homecoming enlightened several people on the streets. You were also glad to see how cheerful everyone was. When you lifted your head, you noticed the big and lofty statue of the anemo archon. Some people surrounded a braided bard who was softly and delicately skimming a lyre.
The lyre's captivating and soothing sound melts your heart. It reminds you of your mother's lullaby from when she was still alive. You didn't know the bard's performance had already concluded since your mind was preoccupied with the wonderful reminiscence of your parents and sibling.
"Hm? Y/N!" The bard's voice has disrupted your thoughts. You noticed him approaching your form as you looked in his direction.
"It's good to see you again, Venti," you remarked, pleased to see one of your dear acquaintances alive and well.
"I'm very glad to see you again! How's your travel? Is Liyue better than Mondstadt? I doubt it!" Venti swamped you with questions, causing you to strain to speak and get confused.
"Hey, bard! You're making the girl uncomfortable," said another familiar voice. You noticed the only gliding champion approaching you.
"Y/N! Thank the Archons for your safe return! How's your travel?" she inquired, sighing relievedly.
"Hey, I asked first!" Now that these two individuals are squabbling, you covertly move away cautiously, trying not to make any noise.
You exhale a breath of relief as you exit the area where the anemo statue is located. "I should definitely go to Angel's Share now," you said quietly as you made your way to the bar you hadn't visited in a long time.
The tavern's doorbell rang, drawing the bartender's attention. But before he could speak his typical phrase every time someone came into his bar, he noticed a strand of [H/C] hair, which made his heart skip a beat.
"Big bro, I'm home!" yelled a joyful voice as you gently entered the bar. Diluc's eyes widened when he saw you.
"You never told me you'd come back today," Diluc grumbled as the folks inside the tavern stared at you two.
You pouted, disappointed with his simple and uninteresting reply, but you didn't protest since you know Diluc has a hard time expressing his feelings following the death of your loving father.
You immediately approached the bartender and hugged him. He was hesitant to return the embrace, but he did it nevertheless. "Aw, I miss you, big bro! It has to be a surprise, after all!" you said as you hugged him.
The doorbell rang, signaling that it had opened and interrupted you two. "Hello, Master Diluc!" said a high-pitched voice.
You ran into two familiar acquaintances. Your eyes twinkled, and seeing them brings you joy. "Paimon and Traveler!" you called out to the two females, asking how they were. They were also taken aback by your unexpected arrival in Mondstadt.
"How about we throw you a celebration now that you're back?" Paimon offered. That proposal piqued your attention, and you quickly agreed.
Paimon has invited practically everyone to the Angel's Tavern, and Diluc is not pleased. "Cheer up, bro. It'll be enjoyable, I swear," you said. Even if he still doesn't like the concept, he merely sighed and nodded.
You noticed your friends entering the tavern one by one. "Nice to see you again, Y/N," your stepbrother, Kaeya, remarked as he hugged you. He is the only one you apprised about your impending arrival.
Kaeya smiled at Diluc, who reacted with a deadpan expression. Even though you know it's impossible for them to like each other after that incident, you still hope they'll get along one day.
"Cheers for Y/N's homecoming!" cheered the bard, and they all lifted their glasses.
"Cheers!" they all said simultaneously.
You started sipping the apple juice Diluc had given you. He refuses to offer you alcohol since something horrible happened when you were drunk one time.
You catch up with some of your acquaintances who you have missed during your brief stay in Mondstadt. You also informed them about your prior travels and experiences in other nations. Even still, you never mentioned the anemo guy to your beloved brother.
You celebrated Christmas with Diluc and intended to invite Kaeya, but he declined for some reason. Because of Diluc, most likely.
However, everything has come to an end. Christmas has come and gone, and the New Year is quickly coming. You promised Xiao that you'd spend New Year's Eve with him, and you don't want to break that promise even if you're not sure if he'll show up.
"Are you going already?" Even if you don't want to, a promise is a promise.
You nodded as you packed your essentials. "Why?" Diluc questioned, causing you to pause. You turned to face him, and for some reason, you noticed a tint of melancholy in his crimson eyes.
"I think I should tell you about this man..." His brow furrowed when you mentioned a guy. Oh, your overprotective brother has arrived.
You began telling him about Xiao, your feelings for him, and the promise. Diluc didn't seem thrilled, but he informed you that he would support you no matter how idiotic your decision was.
"Goodbye, Y/N, and remember to come back on your birthday," your brother added. You smiled, waved your hand, and began walking, wearing your coat closely to shield yourself from the cold.
Diluc only sighed, looking at your vanishing form. He whispered, "May the archons guide her."
When Diluc notified your close friends that you had already departed, they were distraught by the news.
You've been walking for over two hours and haven't run out of vitality, and you honestly don't know why. Maybe it's because you're meeting up with one of the greatest people you've ever met? You strolled while humming your favorite tune. Finally, you noticed the familiar image from a distance. The Wangshu Inn.
"Xiao, I'm coming," you mumbled to yourself, your cheeks flushed from the cold.
It's a good thing there aren't many hillichurl camps around, otherwise, you'll be screwed. Your brother never let you practice battling, no matter how much you wanted to. You wanted to join the Knights of Favonius when you were younger, but your ambitions were dashed after your father died, and you don't possess a vision as your siblings do, so training will be more difficult.
He didn't let you near any knights after that, but it didn't work because some of the Knight of Favonius most crucial members are your buddies.
After a few minutes of walking, you saw the sun was setting. It had already been 5 p.m. Verr, the proprietor, was the first to notice your existence.
"Ah, Miss Y/N, it's good to see you again," she added, smiling. You returned the grin and booked a room. You inquired about Xiao's whereabouts, but she answered that she had no idea.
You rested in your room for a few hours, but your hunger interfered. You selected almond tofu since it is Xiao's favorite. It's been three hours and you have yet to see his shadows. You were overwhelmed with worry. You're concerned for his sake and the pledge to which only you agreed.
Even though it's 11 p.m., you still haven't seen him. What if something were to happen to him during his shift? No, wait. That would never happen, after all, he is an adeptus. But still?
You're lying on the roof, gazing at the magnificent glittering stars. You bent your head and noticed workers preparing pyrotechnics and several youngsters who were excited to see them. Some were also eating while waiting for it to happen.
You sighed, your heart tinted with grief. The New Year is approaching, and you can't believe you'll be spending it entirely alone. What a moron you are. You pondered what your brother would think if he found out you spent it alone. He'd undoubtedly be enraged.
"Well, I didn't expect you to come here despite the fact that I refused your offer," a familiar voice said. Xiao!
When you turned around, you noticed him detaching his mask. You cracked a grin. "I'm pleased you came anyhow," you said.
He made a tongue-clicking motion. He excused himself, saying, "I simply don't want to hear from Verr that you sobbed all night because I didn't show up there."
His remarks had offended you. "Hey! I wouldn't cry if you didn't show here!" You defended yourself this time, incensed at his statements.
"Whatever. Let's just enjoy this show," he remarked as he sat alongside you, breathing in Liyue's fresh air.
"Xiao," you called him. He looked at you with arched brows, perplexed as to why you had called him.
"Thank you for being here," you remarked, smiling at the anemo guy. After hearing it, Xiao's cheeks flushed.
"Tsk, whatever," he answered, trying to disguise his flushed cheeks, which, by the way, did not work.
The innkeepers started shooting fireworks into the air. "It's starting!" you screamed as you rose up and extended your hand to him. He reluctantly accepted. For whatever reason, neither of you broke your entwined hands.
While tons of pyrotechnics were being thrown into the air, your eyes dazzled. Seeing you, Xiao only smiled, unconcerned about the fireworks.
"Happy New Year, Xiao!" You exclaimed, while both of your hands are still intertwined with another, enjoying the warm feeling of each other.
It was undoubtedly the best night for the adeptus as he enjoyed seeing your bright smile, radiating with positive energy. He won't admit it, but deep down, he knows that he has already fallen for you.

FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH THEM
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i. your first encounter with these characters.
ii. ( female reader ) | not proofread
iii. characters: kamado tanjiro, agatsuma zenitsu, hashibira inosuke, tomioka giyuu, tokitō muichiro, kanroji mitsuri, rengoku kyojuro.
Tumblr media
Tanjiro Kamado:
You first met him during his recovery training at the Butterfly Mansion. Because you lack incredible swordsmanship and your physique is delicate and feeble, you were an aspiring medic in the Demon Slayer Corps.
You don't want to be worthless, so you started working on learning how to handle medications, make antidotes for various types of poison, and deal with patients. He was training beside the two strange-looking boys.
You warmed up to him right away since he is an empathetic and charming person. He'd periodically question you about various medications you're researching, which made your heartbeat race because most demon slayers have little interest in those things, thus it's odd for a demon slayer to be curious about those.
He would also pay you a visit after training and maybe if he was badly wounded.
Zenitsu Agatsuma:
You were dispatched on a mission to the Tsuzumi house since it is in the territory of a demon. You entered the mansion and heard a male's cries as soon as you walked inside.
Because you have extraordinary hearing, you instantly followed the sound of the man's cries. You were concerned because he may be tortured. As you hurried along the dimly lit corridor, you came across the weeping man, and unexpectedly, he wasn't being tortured or anything.
There was also a little boy beside him that was sort of acting like emotional support, but it's evident in his eyes that he was also worried since they might encounter a demon, and annoyed, well, that's quite self-explanatory.
The young child was happy to see someone who wasn't wimpy and a whiner when you approached both of them. Zenitsu clutched your haori and began crying with happiness as he encountered a very attractive female and realized that you were a powerful person who could defend him. Even while you find it bothersome because he panics at even the slightest noises in the mansion, it's better than wandering around the area by yourself.
Inosuke Hashibira:
Your first encounter with him was during your visit to the Butterfly Mansion. You're the [ breathing technique ] Hashira and are also one of the youngest ones. ( You're below 17. )
Since you requested Shinobu to make remedies for a variety of toxic substances, you took the decision to go see her. Fortunately, thanks to her excellent knowledge in toxins and medications, she was able to make the antidotes in a matter of days.
A boy wearing a boar mask continued yelling and asking to combat with you while you were there, but you constantly politely declined. While you were being complimented on your power and the yellow-haired boy continued blushing, which you simultaneously found odd and endearing. In contrast to the other two, Tanjiro is the sole boy who is acting quite calmly.
You had heard that they were embarking on a mission with the Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro, before you left. You approached Inosuke, leaned in, and whispered something to him before departing.
"If you survive, I'll spar with you."
Giyuu Tomioka:
One of the demons Lady Tamayo turned is you. You constantly navigate the city, collecting information pertaining to Muzan Kibutsuji, the King of Demons, because you are able to mask your demon-like physical characteristics. It had been requested of you by Lady Tamayo.
You ended up in a city alleyway that smells like liquor and is filthy. You also didn't anticipate bumping into the Water Hashira, and it wasn't fun. Despite the fact that you have humanoid features, he can tell you are a demon. Even though you had a formidable Blood Demon Art, you barely managed to survive his attempts to murder you with his breathing tactics and also because of your lack of experience with using your ability and strength.
You stated to him that you're working under Lady Tamayo and Yushiro's instructions and searching for bits of knowledge regarding the King of Demons. You responded to his questions regarding Lady Tamayo and Yushiro by telling him that you are the three demons working for Kagaya Ubayashiki for the purpose of getting rid of Muzan.
He's unsure whether or not to trust you, but he's kind of persuaded by the fact that you can casually mention Muzan's name without triggering on the curse. However, he continues to be very cautious of the three of you.
Muichiro Tokito:
You are just a year older than Muichiro and the second-youngest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. He first comes across you at a Hashira assembly. Given that you both are silent, you two have never spoken to one another.
Your closest friend in the corps, The Love Hashira, tended to make jokes of you and the boy because she thought you two would make an adorable pairing. But you simply brush it aside, reasoning that if demons are present, there is no time for love.
Interestingly, the two of you were partnered up for a mission in a village in the Northeast where it's rumored that a female demon only eats males upon nightfall. The air was uncommonly quiet as you made your way to the village, and nobody dared to speak. You wanted to strike up a discussion with the boy, but you feel that you will just be disregarded.
The demon then abruptly materialized in front of the two of you. When the female demon realized that the two people who had arrived were female demon slayers, she looked on with resentment. When Muichirou learned the demon thought he was a woman, his visage somewhat darkened.
The demon began rambling about how she wouldn't taste female humans' blood because it tastes terrible etc., but her tedious speech was interrupted by the sound of a slash. The girl's head was quickly separated from her body by Muichirou, and as her body slowly withered away, the female demon began to shriek.
"I'm a boy, by the way, you annoying demon."
You were astounded by his lightning-fast pace, but that's to be anticipated from a slayer who evolved into a pillar in just two months. After that, you offered him an invitation to lunch, which you fully expected him to reject, but to your surprise, he accepted. Despite how silent you both were, you had an amazing experience with him in a ramen shop, and you still feel the urge to strike up a conversation. But regrettably, the two of you barely talked during your stay in the ramen shop.
Rengoku Kyojuro:
You currently hold the rank of Mizunoe in the Demon Slayer Corps. Together with the Kamaboko trio, you have vanquished demons ever since you initially encountered them on Mount Natagumo. Even though you weren't an adept fighter, you supported them in defeating the sinister-looking spider demons.
You and Inosuke have defeated the gigantic spider demon now, you are recuperating in the Butterfly Mansion after suffering a grievous damage in the process. Fortunately, the Water pillar rescued both of you.
It's been two weeks and you're partaking in the rehabilitation training along with the trio and strengthening your swordsmanship as well as your physical abilities. Tanjiro also talked about the special breathing technique that he can use  his father used to dance to, the Hinokami Kagura.
The leader of the corps, Kagaya Ubayashiki, suggested visiting the Flame Pillar 'cause there's a possibility that he might know something, though the Flame Pillar is currently on a mission.
The four of you were about to get ready to join the pillar in his mission, but suddenly someone barged into the mansion and surprisingly, it was the Flame pillar himself!
"Sir Rengoku?! Why are you here?!" Tanjiro asked the tall and huge man in front of them, while the three were clueless about the person in front of them.
"Well, my mission is accomplished! The Mugen train is permanently banned from operating again as it causes people commotion and they also cause a rally to stop it from operating again as it's a human-eating train," Rengoku explained with enthusiasm in this voice and his words were followed by a laugh.
They all introduced themselves excluding Tanjiro and they found out that it was the Flame pillar. Inosuke wanted to fight him, Zenitsu admires him because of his looks and muscles, while Y/N just finds the man interesting and a giant ball of sun.
For a few days, Rengoku stayed there as he was requested by Ubayashiki to train the four of you. You felt close to him during the training with how optimistic and kind he is. He also taught you how to prevent the wound from bleeding out and helped you to use the Total Concentration Breathing even if you're not fighting.
Mitsuri Kanroji:
You were the owner of a ramen shop in Tokyo. Though you've always closed your shop before striking midnight because you heard that demonic creatures are lurking around, especially at night. Then during your shift, a peculiar-looking woman entered your shop. She has pink hair that fades into light green at the halfway point that is tied into three thick braids.
She seems to be wearing a uniform, but the skirt is too short and her top is unbuttoned, revealing a bit of her cleavage. You felt yourself blushing because of how gorgeous she looked. Mitsuri approached you with a smile placed upon her lips.
She ordered 20 tempura and 5 Tonktosu ramen which perplexed you on how huge the orders are. But you didn't question further since it can be offending. After Mitsuri's orders had been received, she began digging and finished the food in no time. You were shocked to see how much food she ate but also admires it.
Mitsuri got embarrassed because she realized that you noticed that she ate too much. You reassured her that you don't mind at all and told her that you were impressed by how she can eat that ton of food. And since that day, the two of you became very close friends. She would always visit you after her mission because she couldn't resist how good your foods are.
Tumblr media
Where are the other pillars?
- Not planning to write for them 'cause their character is too complex or I just feel lazy lol.
Why is it Sir Rengoku? Not Rengoku-san/kun?
- I don't do Japanese honorifics especially since this is an English chapter. Honestly, Sir is quite a cringe, but I'll bare with it. It also feels weird if it's just Rengoku.

PASSION OF AN ASSASSIN
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: gusion x fem! reader.
cw: fluff, mentions of blade / daggers.
[ not proofread | this was also posted in my wp account ( @HUNIBEES ) ]
Tumblr media
Today is an ordinary day, at least for Gusion. He is mastering swinging his daggers and striking the dummies in the training room with them.
The Paxley clan is full of mages, and they aren't pleased with his wielding daggers. But he is unconcerned about the number of criticisms he receives from his relatives.
He likes the daggers and he will continue using them even if he gets kicked out of the clan. Sweat glistened from his temples. He sat on the ground, catching his breath and brushing his perspiration away with his right hand.
"These daggers are getting run-of-the-mill. Possibly I ought to purchase a new and sharper set," he said quietly as he lifted his left hand, which was holding one of the blades.
He changed his attire and slipped on a coat so no one would identify him. He cautiously makes his way to the city's market, ensuring he isn't being followed or ambushed. After all, it's conceivable that someone might suddenly attack him since he's a Paxley. The clan has myriad adversaries that will go to any length to see the clan collapse.
He walked inside a particular weapons store. This is where he normally gets his weapons, and he strongly recommends it to novices because the proprietor of this store is a fantastic weapon inventor as well as an excellent weapon wielder. When he was younger, he would request him to instruct him how to use the blades.
This store is one of the most well-known in the Land of Dawn. The shop's director is also well-known since he developed several apparatuses that have aided many people in making their lives better.
He opened the front door and gingerly removed his hood before approaching the shop's owner, Caleb.
"Hey, Mister Paxley. It's nice to see you again. Need a new set of daggers?" Caleb asked amusingly. Gusion just nodded in response.
"Come on, I'll show you some examples," he said. Gusion followed the man as they moved farther inside the store. They came to a halt in a well-known hallway. When he looked up, he recognized the usual board on top. "Daggers". This is the section for dagger-wielders.
"This is our most recently created new dagger; it may easily attract people and they may take advantage of you, therefore I don't think this matches you," Caleb stated as he showed him the dagger.
The dagger is gold-painted and shines like the stars. It's lovely, but it's not his style. He favors the more uncanny-looking dagger.
"Let's go on to the next one. This is one of the best-selling daggers here, and the specialty of this is that if you land a dagger in a bush, you can detect a hidden opponent," Caleb stated, touching the dagger's edge.
This time, the dagger is lacquered with silver. He loves the peculiarity of this and how it can forecast an ambush, so he believes he'll purchase it. This can also benefit him in a battle.
"That'll do," he said. Caleb laughed heartily. "Good decision, Paxley," he said as they returned to the entryway, and a woman wearing a coat with a hood caught his interest.
"Ah! Glad to see you again, Miss L/N. Looking for a new sword?" Gusion was taken aback when he said her surname. L/N? The clan that is filled with assassins? I have to be vigilant around her.
Y/N, who was peering out the window, looked at both of them with unfriendly eyes. "I need some fresh shurikens," she replied. Her gaze remained fixed on Gusion, who appeared to be about to wet himself. Despite wearing a hood, she appears austere, and Gusion couldn't see her complete face. She just gives him strange sensations and he isn't fully aware that she could be that arcane.
After all, Gusion isn't very good at staring competitions. As much as he enjoys the limelight, this woman just gives him the wrong impression. She seems like she's about to murder him! And that hood is preventing her from seeing him her whole face. Gusion understands why she's being cautious with her surroundings.
"Here are your new daggers, Mister Paxley; thank you for purchasing them; the total is 2,000 coins," Caleb's unexpected voice shattered the two's tension. Gusion reached into his pocket for his wallet and paid the man. He received the money with a cheeky smile. Gusion can still feel a pair of (E/C) staring menacingly at him.
Caleb had already handed him the packet containing the daggers, but he remained motionless for some reason. He couldn't figure out why his feet weren't moving so he could flee the place.
"I'm not planning to kill you, little Paxley; don't cream your pants," she murmured as she passed by him. Gusion was dumbfounded, and he had no idea that they had both drifted away from the area. [Lol, Steve Harrington reference]
After the strange incident earlier, he returned home when the sun is already setting down since he trained a bit with his new daggers in the forest. He was welcomed by Aamon, who was conversing with two individuals. They appear to be in their mid-40s. The three of them were looking at him.
"Oh, is that Gusion? He's so grown up now," the lady added, smiling. He merely smiled awkwardly, not knowing what to do.
After witnessing his smile, Aamon only arched his brows. The man who appears to be the lady's husband adjusted his spectacles. "I wonder whether you're as powerful as your brother, Gusion," he said.
He was annoyed that he was being compared to his older sibling. Being compared to anybody is what he loathes the most. It frequently makes him unpleasant.
"He's strong in his own manner, Sir L/N," Aamon said. He is fully aware that Gusion detest being compared to anyone. Gusion was grateful for Aamon's words, but then Gusion remembered Aamon's said name.
Sir L/N? Is he the father of the strange girl I met earlier? That is a possibility.
Despite the fact that the L/N clan is full of assassins, they're well renowned for their exceptionally outstanding abilities and are one of the most respected assassins in the Land of Dawn. They are not evil individuals who kill only those they choose to kill.
That's all they care about. Justice. People who died in vain deserve justice. And they vowed to exterminate every last member of the abyss.
"I apologize for being late," a familiar feminine voice interrupted his stream of thought. He looked behind him and noticed a lady. He didn't identify them at first, but he did after hearing the voice and seeing her eyes.
"Y/N! We apologize for her late arrival, Aamon," the lady said as she led her to a seat between them on the couch. Gusion simply rested against the walls, contemplating the girl's appearance.
Good-looking face, plump pinkish lips, attracting (E/C) eyes. Wait, why am I even observing her?
He shook his head to clear his mind of stuff he shouldn't be thinking about and spotted the girl looking at him with her soulless gaze. She cocked her brow before breaking eye contact. Gusion was irritated, but he chose to dismiss it.
Finally, the tedious meeting came to an end. He nearly fell asleep, which is extremely humiliating. He doesn't want to be chastised by his brother and have his reputation tarnished in the eyes of the prestigious family. "We're going to talk private issues; you may leave now, Gusion," Aamon replied, his eyes rolling. Private matters, my ass.
He decided to walk to the balcony to kill time and refresh his head. The breeze ruffled his hair causing it to get messy as he stepped onto the balcony. He's fortunate he's still donning his coat since despite wearing it, he still feels frigid.
"Boo," he practically shrieked at hearing the abrupt voice, but Y/N covered his lips, avoiding him from yelling. She took her hand away when she sensed he was no longer agitated.
"You nearly killed me!" he yelled quietly, still bewildered. Y/N merely shrugged, not intending to say anything. Before continuing, he took several deep breaths.
"Why are you even here? Are you stalking me?" he asked the girl, mystified as to why she was there.
"So, what if I am?" Her remark caught him off guard and left him speechless. His cheeks flushed, and he attempted to turn away so she wouldn't see, but it didn't work.
"I'm just kidding. Don't get your hopes up," she added, leaving Gusion a little dismayed. "I wasn't going to..." He whispered, expecting Y/N to answer, but she didn't. He turned at the girl, puzzled as to why she hadn't responded, but she was looking at the dazzling stars.
He looked into her (E/C) eyes for the first time and noticed a spark in them. His pupils dilated but remained quiet.
"Do you like stars?" he said suddenly. She blinked many times before glancing at him and responding. The light in her eyes faded in an instant, which shocked him.
"I like them; they're fantastic in my perspective," she said, returning her gaze to the lovely stars shimmering in the sky.
"I had no idea an assassin like you was interested in stars or planets," he said. Her gaze was drawn to Gusion's bright blue eyes.
"Why do you think I'm just interested in slaughter, blood, knives, and justice?" she said, her brow furrowed and her arms crossed. He shook his head instantly, not wanting to face the grim reaper too soon.
"To be honest, I'd like to be an astrophysicist, but my parents forbid me from doing so or studying stars, planets, and other celestial bodies. When my mother found out, she removed all the windows in my room and forbade me from glancing at the sky, and I'm verboten from going out at night. I was just fortunate earlier that they didn't scold me because Sir Aamon was there. But I'm dead-"
She instantly came to a halt, linked her lips, and turned away. Gusion was baffled. What occurred just now? "I'm sorry, I overshared," she murmured, unwilling to look him in the eyes. What shocked her the most was sensing a hand on her right shoulder.
Her eyes widened and she glanced at the man, puzzled as to why he did that. His blue gleaming eyes gave her an odd sensation. "I'm glad you told me that," he said, catching her off guard.
"Thank you for opening up, Y/N. It's astounding to me that someone as strong as you is interested in becoming an astrophysicist; even if we're not friends or anything, I'll encourage you until the conclusion," he continued, and butterflies began to flutter in her stomach. Y/N felt a scorching feeling in her face, which she quickly covered with the back of her hand and redirected her focus elsewhere.
'Wow, you're flushed-"
"Pipe down! Don't tell anyone..."
"Whatever you say-wait, I don't even know what you're named!"
"You're such a moron, Paxley."

NEXT TIME, PERHAPS?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
cw: angst, depression (?), death
pairing: Kokichi Oma x Fem! Reader
( not proofread )
Tumblr media
It was an extremely frigid day, at least for you. Your own chamber is your lone safe haven, and Kokichi is the only living creature who is also your sanctuary. You just need those two things right now. However, being inside your room did not trigger the same sensation. It's as if you're in the wrong room, or maybe someone polluted it to get rid of that sentiment.
And your instincts are alerting you that something catastrophic is about to take place. And it has something to do with death. You're not frightened of dying but that may be because you're not on the threshold of death. But who can say? It is necessary to see in order to believe. When you heard the sound of your intercom, your thoughts were disrupted.
You reluctantly opened the door to see who was there and noticed a familiar sight. It was Kokichi. You grinned gratefully, knowing that at least one of your safe havens was here. "Hey, Kokichi. It's lovely to see you," you exclaimed cheerfully as you opened the door and welcomed the supreme leader. He gave you a grin, but it wasn't his typical wicked grin. The grin seemed sincere and full of sincere pleasure, but who knows if it's trustworthy or honest, given that he has the title of King of Liars.
"Yo, Y/N. I want to hang out with you during free time," he remarked as he entered your room without your approval, but you didn't object or shout since you're accustomed to it, and he truly wouldn't do anything inside your room, except mess up several of your stuff. You hurried to catch up with him and noticed him lounging on the bed too nonchalantly as if he owned the place and acted like a monarch, while you're just an ordinary creature.
"Let's play UNO!" he said, his malicious grin on his face as if he was plotting something horrible throughout the game. You groaned, wanting to protest since every time you play a game with him, he would always end up cheating to win, but would quickly mask it. You'd see it, but every time you mentioned it, he'd start ranting and saying gibberish to distract you from speaking. Even if you complain, you won't be able to do anything because he'll weep crocodile tears and it'll be a pain in the ass to deal with it.
"Alright..."
And, as usual, you were defeated by the supreme leader. That's because he cheated yet again. You didn't even consider bringing it out at this point since you know what would happen next, and it's pointless regardless. Kokichi laughed teasingly, "I won again, Y/N! You're such a miserable loser!" he shouted, continuing to chuckle. You merely rolled your eyes, too exhausted to confront him.
"Now, get out! I have to rest!" you screamed, motioning him to flee since you want to spend your entirely spare time napping. Kokichi was ready to say anything, but you stopped him and pushed him out of your room. "You're such a jerk-" Before he could finish, you shut the door because you were too tired.
You climbed onto the bed, clutching your pillow for support and closing your eyes, wishing for at least a pleasant good rest. You may be wondering how Y/N considers him to be her solace. That's due to the start of the murdering game. As the Ultimate Psychologist, it's understandable that everyone would approach you, talk about their issues, and seek guidance. Of course, it consumes you. You can resolve their problem, but you can't solve your own. How pitiful is that?
However, there was only one person who listened to your difficulties: Kokichi himself. Isn't it shocking? Naturally, all of the game's competitors avoid Kokichi as much as possible due to his devious and malevolent strategies, as well as his peculiar demeanor. Everyone would have concluded he has no soul and is evil personified, so you were taken aback when he didn't judge you at all.
You were consuming alcohol, but you were still sober at the moment, and you were weeping outside your dorm, begging for your misery to cease. Kokichi saw you at that instant. Typically, he would have ignored or mocked you, but he didn't. He approached you and asked for your attention. When you saw him, you swept away your tears and made up a bad excuse why you weren't sobbing at all, terrified he'd tell everyone the following day.
Surprisingly, he promised not to and even assured you that if he did, you could assassinate him and he would assist you in making the crime more convoluted so Shuichi wouldn't be able to unravel it. He sat right next to you and asked if he could find out why you were upset. You were cautious at first, but you sensed a real interest in his purple eyes, as though he wanted to be replied. That's when you informed him about your issues and why you're crying.
He listened to your ramblings without the slightest hint of scorn or condemnation in his amethyst eyes, but then who knows? He gave you numerous pieces of advice, and for a certain reason, hearing his voice reassured you, and hearing the counsel was a huge assist in making you feel lighter. You were astounded when you realized you were conversing with Kokichi without his typical cheeky demeanor and mannerisms after you had finally settled down. Perhaps you were desperate or in denial while talking to him.
Kokichi has been more relaxed interacting with you since that day, and the feeling is reciprocal for you. You're the only one who trusts the vexatious guy, and you find it unpleasant when he says negative stuff regarding the other participants, but that can't be avoided. He began to reveal his true nature to you, exposing how much he actually loathes the killing game, which astonished you to no extent, given how excellent he is at portraying that he enjoys the killing game.
Your remembrance ended as you regained consciousness and felt your stomach grumble after rising from your bed. It was almost nightfall, so you needed to get up and feed your ravenous hunger. Because of the coldness, you headed outside in a basic black sweater. Outside, there were no other students besides you. Wandering alone is a little alarming, but also comforting. You got to the first level of the academy and continued going until you got to the dining hall.
And that peculiar and disturbing sensation resurfaced to you before you opened the doors of the dining hall. Your gut instinct tells you not to open the door, but you can't just dismiss your rumbling stomach. "I'll simply take a pack of chips and leave," you said yourself in order to reassure yourself, but it didn't seem to work. You cautiously opened the door, revealing a man with a light complexion and ocean-green hair, reading a novel and sipping coffee.
Upon seeing Korekiyo, you exhaled with relief, thankful that you weren't by yourself and that nothing dreadful would occur to you. You've noticed that you seem to have the absorbed man's attention. He locked his narrowed yellow eyes on your [E/C] gaze, causing you to feel apprehensive. He broke eye contact and returned his gaze to his book. "Good evening, Y/N. Hungry, presumably?" he said, his attention focused on the book.
You laughed awkwardly, "Yeah! I did not consume enough during lunch," you added, sweat streaming from your brow. You eventually regret coming here and should have followed your intuition. Korekiyo is the only individual whose presence made you feel frightened or unpleasant. Perhaps due to the way his brain operates, he seems creepy, no, he is creepy. You were delighted before because you weren't alone, but now you wish you were alone rather than in the same room with the anthropologist.
He didn't respond further since he appeared to be preoccupied with the literature he was studying, and you didn't seem to mind. Actually, you enjoy it that way. You opened the cabinet containing the chips and chose your favorites. It was time for you to leave, so you shut the cabinet. "Y/N, is it okay if you bring me a spoonful of sugar?" the anthropologist said abruptly. "Of course!" You're too scared to say no to his request.
When you opened the sugar canister, you noticed something was amiss. Your pulse rate increased, and without even glancing behind you, you spotted a shadow that did not belong to you. Y/N, calm down. Scream if anything strikes. You assured yourself, but your heartbeat became much quicker than it had been. You were beginning to sweat, yet you pretended to grab a teaspoon of sugar. A pair of large hands covered your hands before you could seal the container, keeping you from yelling.
You attempted to shout, but all you got were muffled noises. You fought to resist, but the other hand rushed out and strangled you. You began searching for air, hoping that someone would arrive and rescue you from being killed, but no one was likely to appear. Tears welled up in your eyes as you pondered your friends, parents, and Kokichi. You don't want to die, and it's too soon for you to die. You intended to introduce Kokichi to your parents once the killing game ended, but given your current predicament, that will not happen.
Your tears were streaming quickly from your eyes, and his bandaged hand suffocated you, even more, being impatient and just wanting you to lose consciousness faster. You struggled even harder to breathe, and before you knew it, you were losing consciousness and being welcomed by complete blackness.
"Goodbye, everyone...Please survive, Kokichi."
"Shut your fucking mouth!" Miu exclaimed to Kokichi as she strolled alongside Keebo, Angie, and Kokichi. He merely laughed cheekily as normal. Kokichi usually walks to the dining hall with Y/N, but she wasn't responding while he repeated pressing the intercom button. Maybe she's still sleeping; he won't deny having a strange sense that something horrible occurred to the girl, but he has faith in her and believes that nothing undesirable will occur to her.
But before they could reach the first level, the monitor outside went on, causing the four to come to a halt, wondering what announcement Monokuma would make since the morning announcement had already been made. "A body has been discovered! Everyone, please gather in the dining hall!" The monitor was instantly turned off. When they sensed the apprehension in the air, they dashed to the dining hall. Kokichi felt nervous for the first time in his life, discovering who could be the victim.
They panted as they approached the doors. Keebo regarded every one with trepidation in his eyes. "I'm going to open the doors," he declared. Because none of the three responded, the quiet meant yes. Kokichi was nervous, no, it wasn't just nervousness. It was a foreign and unpleasant feeling to its beyond. Keebo slowly opened the doors, and what Kokichi didn't know was that the mystery to unravel behind those doors is a pure nightmare.

[ Hajime Hinata x FEM! SHSL Baker Reader ]
Tumblr media
People cherished the Super High School Level Baker, Y/N L/N, because of her unbounded eagerness, charming smile, and, most significantly, the exquisite and delectable pastries she bakes.
In conclusion, she was selected as the class representative, with Chiaki in her right hand. Honestly, Y/N appreciates her company more than anybody else. Despite the fact that they are completely antithetical, Chiaki praises her optimism and enthusiasm, yet it may be draining to observe her be so upbeat.
And one day, Chiaki decided to introduce the girl to one of her closest friends, Hajime. She believes that Y/N can help Hajime conquer his inadequacy mentality and the thoughts that he lacks talent. And perhaps, Y/N can make the person feel more confident in himself.
"So, you're Hajime, right? Nice to meet you! I am Y/N L/N! The Super High School Level Baker!" Y/N introduced herself with her typical energetic voice and flashed him her signature appealing smile.
Hajime's cheeks began to flush, and he tried to conceal it, but Chiaki was too fast to see. "Yeah, that's me...Nice to meet you too, L/N," he introduced himself with a calm yet apprehensive tone. Y//N's eyes were drawn to his attire, and a thought occurred to her.
"Hajime, you're from the Reserve Course, right?" she said, noticing that he was dressed differently compared to the others. After hearing what she questioned, Hajime glanced at the ground, his confidence dwindling at the notion of Y/N being dissatisfied with him because he's just a regular student with no talent, abilities, or anything else whatsoever.
"Yeah, that's correct..." he said grudgingly, almost in hushed tones, embarrassed at the truth. He sighed and decided to cease complaining since it wouldn't alter the reality that he's only a reserve course student and isn't supposed to be friends with any of the students who possess a particular talent. Instead of meeting with the customary gaze of disappointment or dissatisfaction, he was met with Y/N's shining eyes.
He was taken aback by her unexpected reaction. Countless thoughts flooded his head, such as why she isn't appalled, if it's simply an act to avoid offending him, or if she misinterpreted or anything. Nonetheless, he's still puzzled why she was acting that way.
"It's nice to finally talk with a reserve course student! I've wanted to make friends with one of them for a long time, but every time I try, they tell me how obnoxious and loud I am. It's upsetting..." she stated, her delighted face turning sorrowful. Hajime feels horrible for the girl since she is being mistreated.
Obviously, the majority of the reserve course students are insecure with themselves, and they probably acted that way out of envy - resentful that they lack her talent and that the only reason they were admitted into the academy was due to money.
"I'm sorry if you're being treated like that," he continued, still upset by the girl's mistreatment because she didn't really deserve it. She certainly wants the students to feel like they are part of the school, and she wants to see their heartfelt smiles as it brightens her day.
"But do you know why they were acting that way?" she asked. Hajime sighed at her obliviousness, uncertain if he should answer the female's concern, but he doesn't want to leave the girl wondering of course. "It's generally due to envy; they're clearly jealous of your talent," he explained.
"Why would they be jealous of me? Just because I have a talent? What an utterly ridiculous reason. Just because you don't have talent doesn't mean you're destined to be an ultimately fruitless individual for your entire life. I mean, it feels awesome to attend Hope's Peak Academy, possess talent, and have everyone applauding you, but I think people who have no talent but become someone commendable are much superior. That just means they worked really hard to be in such a position," Y/N said with her voice full of curiosity.
But to her unbeknownst, she had no clue that her statements had made a little difference in the way Hajime perceives his existence. Her remarks inspired him to keep going forward and to never give up on his dreams. It was a strange sensation for him, but he craved it even more. Affirmation and contentment.
"She's correct, Hajime. Don't develop low self - esteem just because you're part of the reserve course. It doesn't matter whether you have a talent or not; what matters more is your dreams, passion, and actions. Don't be like those rude individuals, Hajime," Chiaki finally chose to speak, her eyes still fixed on the console.
Since that day, the three of them have become closer now than before. Y/N would prepare a variety of sweet delicacies and ask them to judge how sweet they were. Chiaki, on the other hand, saw something odd about the two. It's evident to the two that they're growing love affections for one another, but they're too clueless of it and too bashful to admit it.
"I know you like her romantically, Hajime; it's much too apparent, the way you behave with her and the way your eyes shine every time she talks," Chiaki added, explaining what she said. Hajime's eyes widened, astonished that Chiaki had picked up on all of those nuances and subtleties, and also surprised at how blatant he is, well, to Chiaki's sight, not to Y/ N's.
"You should confess before someone else can captivate her heart. After all, she's fairly well-known and a lot of people like her. Do it before somebody else can," Chiaki said, expecting that the suggestion would help him have the strength to confess, but it appears that she did the contrary. For understandable reasons, Hajime lost all confidence after hearing what she stated. Many people like her, which suggests that some of them are more outstanding than him.
"I didn't intend to do that. What I mean is, I envision you two having an everlasting and healthy relationship. I want to see your relationship bloom to its fullest capacity. And I can sense that she, too, has affections for you, and I'm not saying that to help you feel better. And to know if what I'm saying is true, see for yourself," she clarified.
Hajime is at a loss about what to do. Should he confess? But what if he is turned down? But what if Chiaki is speaking the truth? We don't want to waste this opportunity, do we? But what if she's not telling the truth? His thoughts keep contradicting themselves, and he's not certain what to do. But there is one thing he will undoubtedly do. And that is to confess.
"You can do it, Hajime," he told himself when he noticed Y/N sitting alone on a bench, reading an unknown novel to him. Before approaching the busy female, he took a big breath. "Hey, Y/N..." he said, attempting to hide his nervousness in his voice. Y/N's gaze was drawn to the man who had just taken a seat near her, and she lowered her book and waved her hand.
"Oh, it's lovely to see you again, Hajime; do you need anything?" she questioned nonchalantly, flashing a charming smile that made his heart heart rate to increase. "I have something I want to tell you..." and his worry and nervousness totally engulfed him. After hearing what he said, Y/N's face lighted up, and her heart began to stammer.
"What is it?" she asked, attempting to keep her composure. Hajime inhaled deeply. That's it. It's either now or never. "I...I like you, Y/N. Not platonically, but romantically. I adore everything about you. Your eyes, your demeanor, your smile, all of it. You made me change my thoughts. You completely erased my insecurity about not possessing a talent. You're very special to me, Y/N, and I don't know if you feel the same. It's perfectly alright if you don't."
But before Hajime can hear her response, the girl (sort of) fainted and her face turned bright crimson. "Y/N!" Hajime shouted, shrugging her body in the hope of rousing the girl, but it was useless.
Who knows what occurred after that? But I suppose the finish of the narrative makes it clear.
