Hollywood: Tom Hardy cried when he read comments criticizing his appearance as Bane for 'The Dark Knight Rises'
"Bat-fans want me to be over 220 pounds. 400 pounds. I'm like dude! … I’m human, and I do read things .. and I cry .. I just give them a job, and be the best that I can be"
Hardy put a lot of work into his physical transformation for the role, and he was clearly disappointed that some fans were not happy with the results. It's understandable that he would feel emotional about this, especially since he was so invested in the character.
Despite the negative comments, Hardy's performance as Bane was widely praised by critics and audiences alike. He brought a great deal of depth and complexity to the role, and he helped to make "The Dark Knight Rises" a successful conclusion to the "Dark Knight" trilogy.

The Killer: A New Psychological Thriller from David Fincher
David Fincher, the acclaimed director of such films as "Se7en," "Fight Club," and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," is back with a new psychological thriller, "The Killer." The film is based on the French graphic novel series of the same name, and stars Michael Fassbender as a hitman who begins to question his own moral code after a near-miss.
The film's plot is still under wraps, but it is said to follow the hitman as he tries to come to terms with his past and decide whether or not he can continue killing. Fassbender is joined in the cast by Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte, and Tilda Swinton.
Fincher is known for his dark and suspenseful films, and "The Killer" is sure to be no exception. The film is set to have its world premiere at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on September 3, 2023, before being released in select theaters on October 27, 2023. It will then be available to stream on Netflix on November 10, 2023.
