I dont know how to describe it, but it’s taking over my whole body
does this happen to anyone else? christmas time is getting really close, so my family has already started decorating, and now that the garland and lights are up, i get the same urge i got two years ago to sit on my couch and write fanfiction on my laptop like i did during the last couple of christmas breaks. and I want to play video games.
I guess seasonal nostalgia? is that a thing?
I’m also waiting for the seasonal depression to kick in too

cute little thing,
i struggle with an eating disorder (that’s not the cute part, don’t come for me), and my boyfriend, being the supportive and gentle darling that he is, will try and encourage, but not force, me to eat food. little things like “have you eaten today?” “do you want something to eat?” “wanna try splitting a sandwich with me?” just gentle nudges towards getting me to eat, which i really appreciate, because it’s hard for me to do comfortably. so whenever i feel confident and good enough to eat, i’ll say something like “are you hungry?” to him, and his face will light up like christmas because i want to eat something on my own, and he’ll rush over to his kitchen to make a box of mac and cheese or something and i just love him so much its crazy i-

I know I’m a bit late to the party, but that’s not what matters. I wasn’t able to go to my local protest last night, so I put the time that I would have spent there to make this.
I’ve seen plenty about George Floyd, but I didn’t find anything about his family, and what they were going through. I didn’t even know he had a six year old daughter until I looked it up for myself.
My heart goes out to the Floyd family, and I hope they can recover from their devastation. I’m glad the officer that committed such a heinous crime is getting what he deserves.
I’m a basic white bitch, so I don’t understand the prejudice that is thrown at people of colour, but I’m thankful that I don’t have to. I don’t understand the things the people of colour are feeling and going through, now and constantly in the past, but I am willing to listen and learn.

Admittedly, I squealed.
This is a future scene from my canon divergent AU Scaling Back, where everything is (mostly) the same except Lance is secretly a merman - until Pidge finds out. Also I gave Lance a back scar from the invasion on the Castle of Lions because yeah magical healing sci-fi pods are cool and all but having no scar afterwords is nonsense okay?
Designing Lance’s tail for this AU was fun! I actually looked up Caribbean fish for inspiration and he is based on a striped parrotfish as well as a neon tetra - which is more South American oceans but it’s a similar enough design to the parrotfish. I love both designs because they have blue and red in their scales which fits perfectly for Lance since he pilots the Blue and Red Lions.
Pidge is high-key playing “footsie” with Lance right here and I think it’s adorable.
