Imagine that when you die, everyone can find out how many words you’ve written ever and which word you used the most (other than something basic like “the”, etc.)
Sounds cool until I realize that mine would most definitely be Dick.

It’s always the people with the most innocent profile pictures that comment on the darkest fics 💀

The biggest test of loyalty is not staying faithful in a relationship. It’s working on your WIP even when you get other story ideas.

Nightwing with his finger stripes is like a girl showing off her acrylic nails. Someone who pays that much attention to detail in their fit doesn’t just not show it off. Suddenly everything he has to say requires excessive hand gestures. When he scrolls on his phone, his fingers are poised and lifted. He doesn’t mind getting dirty—it’s part of the job—but watch the hands, pal.

I LOVE when people in fics refer to Gotham as a person, especially a she. It always slaps. Like, yes, tell me how cold and dark she is, but don’t forget to mention she is the only home you’ve ever known.

I wish tumblr had reblogs and posts in separate categories. I would reblog way more if it didn't clog up my og posts. It's kinda overwhelming. I was so confused at the whole idea of reblogging when I first started tumblr lol. But yeah, I think we should just use comments more often??
when i say i wish people started using the reblog button more i don't mean it in a 'i want more notes' kind of way i mean it in a 'i want to read about your thoughts on this particular thing' and 'i want to have conversations in the tags' and 'i want this to feel like a community again and not like any of those boring social media platforms where artists are content creators and interactions never goes beyond a like'

Why did I just have a moment where I was like: You know what? I'm done procrastinating and holding things off. Would Dick Grayson do this? No? THEN GET TO WORK.
Then I had the realization that: yes, I am in fact using a fictional character to motivate myself. No, I am not ashamed of that.

Ao3 would be unstoppable if it had incline comments (like the ones on Wattpad where you can comment on each specific line in the story)
Just imagine the beautiful chaos that would ensue.

Starting to realize that most of my comments on DC fics almost always consist of “Poor Dick” and “Hahaha.”

Idk how I ended up making something that was supposed to be a funny headcanon angsty, but here’s some art to make up for it.
Tumblr media
People in DC would definitely make edits of their favorite heroes using random camera footage that pops up online. It probably wouldn’t be the best quality, but it would be full of love. The Robins discover this and purposefully pose in front of security cameras and say a witty line, hoping someone puts it in an edit.
Now imagine Jason after he comes back from the dead and finds an edit of himself to Alan Walker’s Faded. He looks at the date and it was made recently. The lyrics go “Where are you now? Another dream. The monster’s running wild inside of me. Im faded” while velocity clips of him as Robin show up where he’s so young and happy.
Jason just stares. That version of him feels like a lifetime ago. A dream, almost, like the lyrics say. It’s trippy.
And then he breaks down, mourning his old self.
Yet, through the tears, he’s secretly glad. He’s glad people—people, that hadn’t even known him—had mourned him, too. That they had missed him.
That he hadn’t been forgotten.
