AO3 Comments are SO SO SOOOOOOO important because you can only leave Kudos ONCE. You add to the hit count ONCE (every 24 hours).
So whenever someone updates their fic, the ONLY way an author knows who their regular readers are is if they comment on each chapter. And we WANT to know who's still reading.
Believe it or not, some of us think about the name that pops up constantly in the comments and go "omg I can't wait to see what they think of THIS SPECIFIC SCENE cuz I KNOW they'll say something about it!!!"

| valentines special bcs i missed writing :')
you sighed as you sat beside exseatmate!suna during break, before proceeding to lay your head against his back.
suna hummed, an acknowledgement to your deflated mood.
you sighed again, only this time louder.
"something bothering you?" he says plainly.
"well..." you plucked off flowers from the ground.
"it's just that... valentines is tomorrow."
"and?" he replied confused, stopped whatever he was doing, ears perked up.
"i never get anything..." you sadly explain, making a ring from the flowers you plucked off earlier.
"so..?"
"that's easy for you to say," taking his hand.
"you get them easily, be it valentines day or not."
"guess so," making the teenager shrug.
suna didn't mind it one bit when you placed the flower ring you made on his finger.
the next day, you walked into class and saw a huge pile of gifts on atsumu's desk.
while you were about to take a few sweets, knowing the faux blonde wouldn't mind, you noticed another desk with just as the same amount of gifts to your faux blonde friend.
glancing between suna and the gifts.
pursing your lips, seeing suna unfazed from the valentine gifts infront of him.
putting back the chocolates you took from your sestmate's desk, and returning to your desk.
only then, did you noticed something on yours.
one ferrero rocher surrounded by a pompompurin bracelet.
a tiny paper rose bouquet that had a message written on it.
a baby blue and lilac paper flower.
a small penguin plushie.
and a flower ring, identical to what you gave suna yesterday.

while you were glancing between suna and the piles of gifts infront of him,
you failed to notice him covering his mouth with one hand,
suppressing his laughter with his hand,
the hand which was wearing the flower ring you absent-mindedly made yesterday.

omg what ab seatmate suna when yall are no longer seatmates (the seat order changed or something)
seatmate!suna and you were no longer seatmates, the seating arrangement changed halfway through the school year.
your seat was at the front by the door. suna's seat was at the last row, next to the window.
atsumu's your seatmate for the remaining half of the school year.
you got acquainted with atsumu when the teacher paired you guys for an assignment, and eventually became good friends.
seatmate!atsumu and you would fight every single day over the littlest things.
now back to exseatmate!suna 🔥💯💪😻
exseatmate!suna sulking all day after you chose to pair-up with atsumu for a project.
you were talking, accompanying suna on his way to practice.
"i couldn't go on tiktok today because my fyp is flooded with those don't skip this vi–"
"so that's how it's going to be then..."
"suna, i'll respond to your videos when i get home, i prom–"
"well yeah? as you should but i'm not talking about that."
"then, what are you talking about...???"
"i'm talking about you casting me aside... throwing me away like i'm replaceable— which i am not."
"suna, i told you, i didn't get any notifs from you on insta–"
"i'm talking about you and your new partner."

best friends to lovers with rintarou suna where he unexpectedly asks if you want to go out for a late night drive around the city at the untimely hour of 3am because he knows for an absolute fact that you’re awake as well.
oh and rintarou thinks it’s fucking hilarious to pull into an empty parking lot, stop his car, recline his seat and say “so, what you tryna do?” with his trance inducing hooded eyes and a shit eating lazy grin. LIKE BITCH WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? he doesn’t actually want to do anything (yk unless you want to wink wink), he just thinks your reaction is both the funniest and cutest thing ever.
your jaw drops immediately as your soft eyes widen slightly. “the fuck you mean, what am i tryna do?”
the bozo starts cackling and wheezing like a car engine at your words and expression as he starts up the car’s engine once again.

"to what?"
"those tiktok videos i sent you yesterday?"
"oh, i muted my notifications on tiktok."
"how could you do that to me.." suna sighed dramatically, his hand on his chest.
you rolled your eyes at him, amused at his antics.
you opened your phone and went on tiktok, only to see the weirdest and random videos in human history filling your tiktok inbox.
seatmate!suna is that one friend that hits you when they laugh.
whenever you guys laugh, both of you keep adding things that make it funnier until you can barely breathe.
seatmate!suna has you on chokehold.
suna was talking when you started to zone out mid conversation.
"i caught on camera a bird shitting on atsumu—" he stops, noticing you weren't paying attention to him the conversation.
he grabs your chin to get your attention.
you snap out of it and realize what suna was doing.
"you okay, pretty?" he chuckles and tucks your hair behind your ear after.
seatmate!suna who'd invite you to play volleyball with him whenever he's done with practice.
seatmate!suna who'd show you random things, saying it reminded him of you.
suna placed a weirdly looking pebble on your desk.
you looked at him confused.
"it reminded me of you."
"how does that remind you of me..?" you questioned, pointing at the pebble.
suna shrugs, "it just did."

seatmate!suna who wanted to talk to you but was not sure how to approach you.
he tapped on your shoulder during a pop quiz and asked you to give him a random number.
"what?"
"give me a number, any number from 1-100."
"uhm.." you tilt your head trying to face him. "twenty-five..?"
suna looks at you then looks at his test paper, before encircling the letter and handing it to the professor.
after that, he would occasionally ask you to give him a random number and then give you a sly smile in return.
seatmate!suna who found his school desk uncomfortable and asked if he could put his head on your shoulder.
when you gave him a slight nod, he pulled your chair closer to his, crossing his arms then placing his head on your shoulder.
"is my head heavy?"
"no, it's okay."
"are you sure?"
"i'm sure."
he slept the entire period
seatmate!suna who would show you random photos on his gallery.
seatmate!suna who would ask you to binge-watch mukbang videos with him.
seatmate!suna who would fill your gallery with pictures of him.
"can i borrow your phone for a sec?"
"okay...sure?" narrowing your eyes as you handed him your phone.
he went through your gallery just to save pictures of him onto his phone.
"here," giving back your phone "don't delete any my photos, thanks."
you looked at him in disbelief.
