God I want to scream- I hate this, I hate this so much- this is my home and yet this is how the rest of the world sees us. Texas has such a strong "mind your damm buisness" culture that those fuckers who don't end up being the only ones you see

The most hateful and spiteful horrible people and agencies end up representing my entire home and I fucking hate it god i'm so mad rn

Theres also a strong culture of law enforcement with sherrifs being seen as part of the community (at least in my community)- I was raised around law enforcement, I remember being the kid that would "steal" candy from officers and be overjoyed when they let me play with the sirens.

They were good people- but its hard to seperate the people who they are, neighbors and friends, to the people who participate in this madness. I don't even think I can.

Im just tired of it

You know this reminded me of I went to a petting zoo/santuary once that had Porcupines. I remember the guy explaining "Most of the time, they dont actually want to hurt you, its always an accidnent- or they act out of fear"

He even said one time he startled one and got half a palm full, but the next time he went in the enclosure after getting patched up that same Porcupine brought him her favorite nuts as an apology.

Follow that up by we got to pet the cute little shits, as long as we were careful and avoided the spines-

How many works do you have on AO3?- Published rn? Eight, but I abandoned quite a few a while ago (they were dsmp, and well- y e a h)

2. What's your total AO3 word count? 233,328 (Both less and more than I imagined)

3. What fandoms do you write for? Now I mostly do Batfam and HP/Marauders, though ive also done Spiderman, BNHA, (and of course dsmp, it was an era)

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? 1. Navigating the den of snakes- HP, 454 2. Pavitrs not so perfect day- Spiderman, 291 4. Societies Salvation in the form of a quirkless hero- BNHA, 176 5. A promise smells like roses- Marauders, 33

Do you respond to comments?- YES, I respond to every single one, and I have multiple long ass threads in my comment sections discussing with readers about their theories and little lore drops etc. I know it takes a lot of courage to comment so I always try and show how much I appreciate it, and I also just love engaging with people who enjoy my works of course.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?- Published I would say "I love you, but not in the right way"

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?- A lot of my works are still updating s o I would have to say completed wise "Christmas in the den" wins by default

8. Do you get hate on fics? God I wish (I miss making people feel guilty for being assholes- it was half the fun of working fast food and a high I havent replicated since) - but no.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do but Ive never published any as of rn- And Im a Porn w/Plot girly to my core

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?- As a reader I adore it, from the narrator or an outside perspective it adds a level that otherwise cant be achived and gives some fun moments. As a writer I do it fairly often tbh. Ive written dialogue in Turkish, Spanish, Romanian, ASL, Latin, French, etc. I may not know the language but i've been around bi or even tri lingual people long enough that they will slip that shit in all the time.

Ive straight up had entire lectures in spanish and had to wait for them to stop talking so I can remind them I dont know spanish to that level BUT I do the same shit in ASL and I know the frustration of someone not understanding you etc. ALSO its just fun as hell- and gives me the oppertunity to research other languages or learn from native speakers themselves (aka harass friends/moots to help w/ translations)

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?- Honestly "Ill never wear your broken crown" has been a fucking blast to write, though a lot of my favorite written parts are still in the drafts for the time being
