what’s a piece of advice that honestly changed the way you view/go through life?
a quote from sylvia plath, saying: “I act and react, and suddenly I wonder, ‘Where is the girl that I was last year? Two years ago? What would she think of me now?”
it made me realize that i can’t live constantly viewing what’s straight in front of me, i have to consider the future and takes the steps to get there. i’ve learned to be more mindful of exactly who i am, who i can become and the way my actions keep me failing to progress. it also helps notice my current situations and decide if they’re best for me. thank you for the question <3

“Hollowness: that I understand. I'm starting to believe that there isn't anything you can do to fix it. That's what I've taken from the therapy sessions: the holes in your life are permanent. You have to grow around them, like tree roots around concrete; you mold yourself through the gaps."
