Tumblr media
SOULMATES, a topic that typically evoked a range of emotions within her. It was a subject that had always made her shiver and cast a skeptical glance at anyone who dared to bring it up.
It wasn't that she harbored any ill will towards people who found their soulmates; in fact, she genuinely loved witnessing others find their lifelong partners.
What bothered her was the expectation that she, too, had to be with her supposed soulmate.
The idea that fate or the alignment of stars dictated her romantic destiny didn't sit well with her. She resented the notion of not having a choice in the matter, simplistically put.
A soulmate was akin to an elixir, a potent blend of Oxytocin, Serotonin, Dopamine, and even Endorphins, coursing through veins like an intoxicating potion.
The very meeting of their eyes ignited a profound connection, an alchemical reaction within the depths of one's being.
Yet, there were moments when external factors temporarily obscured the rush of those chemicals — fear, stress, and sometimes even anger.
The bond with a soulmate had the power to fortify one's vulnerabilities, weaving a tapestry of trust that transcended reason. It was a force that could make you overlook their glaring red flags, enticing you into a hypnotic dance of surrender.
Such was the mysterious allure of soulmates, a delicate interplay of emotions and desires, bound by an invisible thread that defied comprehension.
Encountering a soulmate was akin to a lamb to the slaughter, oblivious to the impending chaos that lay in wait. With naive hope and soaring expectations, one believed that everything would unfold according to their preconceived notions, simply because the elusive notion of soulmates entwined their fates.
But reality, as it often does, would swiftly descend upon them. For soulmates, too, were mere mortals, driven by their own desires and motives.
Many humans reveled in the allure of carnage, the thrill of conflict, and the pursuit of personal gain, regardless of the consequences inflicted upon their unwitting counterparts.
In the tapestry of soulmate connections, one found the intertwining threads of joy and pain, love and betrayal, woven together in a delicate dance.
The truth revealed itself, reminding souls that the mere presence of a soulmate did not guarantee a harmonious existence. It was a precarious tightrope walk, where the potential for both ecstasy and devastation loomed at every turn.
Many people choose to save themselves for their soulmates, cherishing the anticipation of the intimate connection they will share with their destined partner.
The idea of experiencing the touch of their soulmate's body against their own becomes a sacred longing, a yearning for a bond that goes beyond physical attraction.
It is a belief rooted in the belief that true love is worth the wait, and that the merging of souls and bodies will be a profound and transformative experience.
However, for others, they didn't see the point or simply didn't feel inclined to wait. After all, a soulmate is meant to love you unconditionally, regardless of your past experiences. If your soulmate judges you for having explored and expressed your sexuality, well, then they're simply not worth it.
Among the Hogwarts Casanovas, James Potter stood out as one of the most notorious. His charm and confidence could lure in girls with the flick of an unruly curl or a captivating gaze from his hazel-brown eyes, peering mischievously through his round glasses.
He possessed a heart as grand as his ego, leaving many under his spell and yearning for his attention. His best friend Sirius Black, a close second on the Casanova scale, certainly gave James a run for his money.
Sirius Black, a prominent contender for the title of biggest Casanova, was the embodiment of the classic bad boy, capturing the attention of giggly girls and fueling endless rumors.
His striking grey eyes had the power to weaken knees with a single glance, complementing his pale, chiseled complexion that bore the mark of his Black lineage.
Adorned in a timeless black leather jacket, he exuded an air of rebellion wherever he went. His slightly curly black hair cascaded to his shoulders, stylishly layered to create a captivating effect.
With a mischievous, humorous, and somewhat dramatic nature, Sirius had a knack for playing pranks and finding himself in trouble. His reputation with the ladies was well-established, engaging in snogs with anyone who caught his fleeting interest or simply served as a temporary source of amusement.
Remus Lupin, an enigma who effortlessly captured the hearts of those around him. His gentle smiles and warm brown eyes had a unique power to make girls swoon in a way unlike his friends.
His calm and protective nature, coupled with his problem-solving abilities, drew people towards the comforting embrace of his presence.
Yet, it was his occasional mischievousness that proved equally captivating, causing knees to weaken when a playful smirk graced his face, accentuating the sharpness of his canines and showcasing his endearing dimples.
Despite his tall and lanky stature, Remus possessed an underlying strength that would occasionally reveal itself when he indulged in his desires, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to witness it.
His sandy brown hair, always slightly unruly as he immersed himself in his studies or a good book, added to his charm.
The scars that adorned his face only added to the air of mystery and dramatic allure, causing girls to squeal with delight at the slightest hint of attention from this captivating young man.
In the dimly lit Slytherin common room, the crackling fire cast an eerie glow, highlighting the green accents of the room. Amidst the shadows, a girl sat, exuding an air of mystery and indifference.
She was not a Casanova by any means, though she possessed a few tricks up her sleeve when it came to getting what she wanted from boys in her year.
Quiet by nature, her mean resting face and piercing stares often caused others to keep their distance. Half of it was due to her Slytherin affiliation, while the other half was a result of her intimidating glares and perpetually downturned lips.
Her curly, slightly frizzy hair cascaded around her, occasionally pushed away by a boy who had made himself quite at home, pressing his lips to her jaw in an attempt to elicit a reaction.
But she remained unfazed, her bored expression unwavering as she stretched out on the couch, her arms draped over the back and her legs slightly spread out – a testament to her preference for trousers over skirts, which lacked the convenience of pockets.
Her eyes followed random figures moving about the room, deliberately avoiding any significant focus on the boy – whose name had slipped her mind – clinging to her side like an overly attached girlfriend.
She couldn't care less about him, having met him in a drunken state at a party where they had slept together. While he seemed to expect something more, she had no interest whatsoever in pursuing any further connection.
With a sigh escaping her nose, she rose to her feet, gently pushing off the boy who finally seemed to grasp the hint and scurried away, his face flushed with embarrassment, no doubt seeking solace among his friends.
Leaving the common room behind, she passed through the serpentine door that obediently opened and closed for her, granting her passage.
The dull ache of her soulmate mark, a moon-shaped emblem nestled on her right collarbone, persisted as she walked, causing her to exhale an irritated breath and discreetly adjust her shirt to conceal it. The throbbing ache settled into a subtle, continuous hum, its gentle vibrations almost soothing.
As she approached the library, the door welcomed her with the comforting scent of new books, coffee, and tea.
Finding solace at a table nestled between two book-lined walls, she reached into her small satchel and retrieved a hardcover book, propping her head on her hand as she immersed herself in its pages.
Time seemed to slip away effortlessly, until a sudden scuffle of a chair being dragged along the floor interrupted her reading.
She glanced up, only to be met by the warm brown eyes of Remus Lupin. His hair was tousled, his uniform tie askew and loosened, the red fabric dangling haphazardly.
He offered her a sheepish smile, a red-covered book clutched in his hand, his tongue darting out to moisten his chapped lips before he spoke. "Do you mind if I sit here? It's the most secluded area in the library," he murmured, his voice gentle with a hint of raspiness.
She released a small breath through her nose, nodding silently as her lips pressed into a thin line. The sound of her voice, soft yet carrying, echoed faintly in the hushed atmosphere of the library.
A sharp pang from her soulmate mark caused her to flinch, her grip on the book slipping slightly, resulting in a quiet thud as it landed on the table.
Remus, also flinching in response to the sensation, raised an eyebrow at her, his eyes widening when he caught a glimpse of a faint glow beneath her shirt.
Soulmate marks were known to glow when one was in close proximity to their soulmate, accompanied by the corresponding aches.
His own mark pulsed within him, causing a subtle ache, yet she seemed oblivious to its presence as she scowled at the table and gingerly touched her mark.
Deciding to let it slide, Remus settled himself in the seat opposite her, placing his book on the table and running a hand through his hair, further tousling its already disheveled state.
Leaning in closer to his book, he realized he had forgotten his reading glasses, causing him to squint slightly as he immersed himself in the pages.
And so they spent the remaining time engrossed in their respective books, losing track of time until the librarian sternly reminded them of curfew.
Reluctantly, they gathered their belongings and prepared to leave, Remus offering the girl a warm smile while she only responded with a curt nod.
As Remus settled into bed, his mind couldn't help but linger on the possibility that he may have found his soulmate. The thought brought a mixture of excitement and curiosity, leaving him with a newfound sense of hope as he drifted off to sleep.
Meanwhile, the girl, Finn, retired to her own bed with a sense of annoyance at the persistent throbbing of her three soulmate marks. She couldn't help but wonder how she ended up with multiple soulmates, finding it both puzzling and frustrating.
With a sigh, she tried to push the thought aside and closed her eyes, hoping for a peaceful night's rest, away from the incessant reminders of her complicated soulmate situation.

Summary: A Day in Hogwarts with Sirius Black

Tumblr media
A DAY WITH SIRIUS BLACK usually contains many adrenaline filled days. There were rarely calm days- other than the ones when the both of you were nursing a killer hangover.
That consisted of the hoods of your robes pulled up to your head and wearing one of the many pairs of sunglasses that Sirius owned- for some odd reason.
Much like today your hood was pulled over your head, dug ladders blocking the view of your bloodshot eyes. Your head pounding- eyes dropping and body aching.
Sirius leaned against you, his body seeking support as he groaned dramatically about his pounding headache. You couldn't help but join in, sharing the agony of the aftermath of a wild night out.
Meanwhile, James, Remus, and Peter observed the two of you with amused expressions, witnessing your collective suffering and exchanging knowing glances.
You let out a small yelp as Sirius nuzzled his head into your neck, his sunglasses slightly askew from the contact with your skin.
"Sirius, that's cold!" you protested, squirming slightly in an attempt to evade his persistent head movements.
He chuckled softly, his warm breath tickling your skin. "But your neck is so cozy," he replied, his voice muffled against your collarbone. "It's the perfect spot to soothe my throbbing head."
You rolled your eyes playfully, trying to maintain a semblance of annoyance despite the small smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "Well, find another cozy spot, Black. My neck needs a break."
Sirius lifted his head, revealing a mischievous grin as he adjusted his sunglasses. "Fine, fine. I'll save your neck from any further invasion. But don't blame me if I end up snuggling against your shoulder instead."
You couldn't help but laugh at Sirius's theatrical display, rolling your eyes playfully as you gave him a gentle shove. His exaggerated cry echoed through the room as he dramatically tumbled from the table bench, landing on the floor with an exaggerated thud.
"Oh no, she's killed me!" Sirius wailed, his voice filled with mock despair. His hood had fallen off, revealing his disheveled hair, and his crooked glasses only added to the comical effect.
You shook your head, trying to suppress your laughter, as Sirius lay motionless on the floor. "You're such a drama queen, Sirius," you teased, amusement evident in your voice.
He remained sprawled on the floor, seemingly enjoying the coolness against his back. "This floor is cool. Come join me, love," he said, smirking mischievously and reaching out to grab your arm.
You let out a startled yelp as he tugged on your arm, causing you to lose your balance and land on top of him with a thud.
"Jesus fuck, Sirius!" you exclaimed, a mixture of surprise and mild annoyance evident in your voice. You tried to compose yourself, but the closeness and unexpected turn of events made it difficult to keep a straight face.
Sirius's laughter filled the air, his arms wrapping around you as he held you close. "Sorry, love," he chuckled, planting a playful kiss on your forehead. "Couldn't resist pulling you down with me."
You let out a dramatic sigh, your hands pushing against Sirius's chest as he held you tightly against his body, the two of you still sprawled on the floor.
"Let me up, Sirius," you pleaded, your voice laced with playful exasperation, but your attempts to free yourself were half-hearted as you secretly enjoyed the closeness.
He pretended to consider your request, his head tucking back into the crook of your neck. "Hmm, no, I don't think so," he replied, his voice filled with mischief. A smirk danced on his lips as he pressed a series of playful kisses against your neck, causing a shiver to run down your spine.
You playfully squirmed in his grasp, trying to suppress a giggle. "Come on, Sirius," you protested, feigning annoyance. "We can't just stay on the floor all day."
He chuckled against your skin, his warm breath tickling your neck. "Who says we can't?" he retorted, his voice filled with a playful challenge. "Besides, the floor isn't so bad when you're here with me."
You shifted your position, turning so that your back was pressed against Sirius's chest, still sprawled on the floor together. The sound of a voice disrupted your cozy moment, causing you to glance up and find Remus standing above you, a small smile playing on his lips as his warm brown eyes met yours.
His sandy hair was tousled, and he held a book in his hand, partially concealed by his sweater.
"You guys are going to be late for class," Remus pointed out, his amusement evident in his tone as he shifted on his feet.
Sirius chuckled, the vibrations reverberating through your body and eliciting a ticklish sensation. "Do you honestly think we're going to make it to class in this state?" he retorted, raising an eyebrow and squinting his grey eyes mischievously.
You joined in the playful banter, a smirk forming on your lips. "Yeah, sorry, Moony. Looks like we'll have to skip today," you added, emphasizing the word 'skip' with a cheeky grin.
Remus rolled his eyes, though there was a glint of amusement in them. "You two are incorrigible," he remarked with a mock sigh, shaking his head. "Well, just be careful not to get caught. And don't blame me if you get detention."
Sirius raised his hand in a mock salute. "Noted, Moony," he said with a wink, his arms tightening around you. "We'll make sure to avoid any unwanted attention."
Remus chuckled, shaking his head once again. "Alright then. Just don't have too much fun on the floor," he teased, before turning to leave. "See you later, you lovebirds."
As Remus walked away, you and Sirius exchanged playful glances, your laughter filling the air. The prospect of skipping class seemed more appealing than ever, as you remained tangled together on the floor.
You sighed, shifting you position so that Sirius and you were now lying chest to chest. "We should probably get up and head to your dorm before..." You trailed off, pointing towards Professor McGonagall, who was steadily making her way towards you.
A mischievous glint sparkled in Sirius's eyes as he mirrored my thoughts. "Oh no," he chimed in, his voice filled with mock panic. "I can't afford to get another detention. Filch's company is simply unbearable." He joined you in a dramatic gasp, his hand pressed to his chest in feigned distress.
With laughter bubbling from your lips, you quickly sprang up from the floor. It wouldn't do to incur the wrath of Professor McGonagall. Detentions were not something you particularly enjoyed, and you knew Sirius felt the same.
"Let's make a swift exit, my love," Sirius declared with a wink, springing up beside you. You guys swiftly gathered our things, our laughter lingering in the air as you headed towards the safety of his dormitory.
As we stepped into the room, a sigh of relief escaped my lips as the comforting light eased the throbbing in my head, courtesy of the hangover.
Before I could fully register what was happening, Sirius's arms wrapped around me from behind, causing me to let out a surprised laugh. With a playful force, he pulled me towards his bed, and we tumbled onto the soft comforter together.
The moment we landed, I found myself enveloped in his warm embrace. He pressed his head against my neck, his breath tickling my skin. A contented sigh escaped my lips as I nestled closer to him, relishing in the comfort and safety of his presence.
We lay there in silence, the sounds of our breathing and the rhythmic beat of our hearts creating a soothing melody.
Sirius unraveled himself from our embrace, shifting slightly to hover over me as he reached for something on his nightstand. I watched curiously as he grabbed a cigarette from a pack, flicking open a lighter and igniting the tip.
As he blew a stream of smoke in my direction, I couldn't help but let out a laugh, mixed with a mock scowl. With an exaggerated gesture, I fanned the smoke away from my face, pretending to be offended.
"Jesus, Sirius, really?" I teased, raising an eyebrow playfully. "You know I hate the smell of smoke."
He chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he took another drag from the cigarette. "But darling, the smoke adds an air of mystery and allure, don't you think?" he quipped, blowing a small smoke ring into the air.
I rolled my eyes, unable to hide my amusement. "Oh, of course," I replied, sarcasm dripping from my words. "You're just trying to enhance your already irresistible charm, aren't you?"
He grinned, leaning in closer, the cigarette dangling loosely between his fingers. "Well, it seems to be working, doesn't it?" he replied, his voice low and husky.
I playfully pushed at his chest, feigning resistance. "Oh, don't let that ego of yours get any bigger," I retorted, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "You're trouble enough as it is, Black."
He winked at me, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "And you love every bit of it," he replied, his tone filled with confidence.
I couldn't help but laugh, the sound mingling with the lingering smoke in the air.
Letting out a contented hum, I shifted my position to the edge of the bed, stretching my limbs before standing up. Walking over to Sirius's trunk at the end of his bed, I glanced back at him.
"Do you want something to change into?" I asked, my gaze lingering on his disheveled robe as I absentmindedly fiddled with the hem of my own.
Sirius looked up at me, his eyes scanning my figure appreciatively. "Hmm, tempting offer," he replied with a smirk. "But I think I'll stick with my current attire for now."
I chuckled, rolling my eyes playfully. "Always the rebel, aren't you?" I teased, reaching into the trunk to retrieve a fresh set of clothes for myself.
As I began to change into a more comfortable outfit, I caught Sirius's gaze lingering on me. A mischievous glimmer danced in his eyes as he watched, clearly enjoying the sight. I couldn't help but feel a warmth spread through me at his unwavering attention.
With a smirk of my own, I finished dressing and walked back over to him, striking a pose. "Well, what do you think?" I asked, a playful tone in my voice.
Sirius let out a low whistle, his eyes roaming appreciatively over my figure. "Absolutely stunning," he replied, a genuine smile tugging at his lips. "But then again, you always manage to take my breath away."
I couldn't help but blush at his words, feeling a rush of affection for the charming troublemaker in front of me. Playfully, I swatted his arm. "You know just what to say, don't you?" I said, a mixture of fondness and amusement in my voice.
He leaned in, his lips brushing against my ear as he whispered, "Only the truth, my dear."
A shiver ran down my spine at his proximity, and I couldn't resist leaning into his touch.
I smirked to myself, scratching my jaw slightly as I contemplated my wardrobe choice. "You know what... I think I want to wear one of Remus's sweaters. They're more comfortable," I teased Sirius, playfully nudging him as I moved to sit up.
Sirius feigned offense, his hand clutching his heart dramatically. "Oh, so you prefer Remus's sweaters over mine now?" he exclaimed, mock hurt evident in his voice. "I see how it is."
I chuckled, shaking my head at his playful jealousy. "Oh, don't be like that. You know your sweaters are great too," I reassured him, leaning in to place a quick kiss on his cheek. "But Remus's just have that extra level of coziness."
He pouted, his expression exaggerated. "Well, fine then. Go ahead and steal Remus's fashion secrets. See if I care," he said, trying to keep a straight face but failing as a mischievous grin broke through.
I laughed at his antics, unable to resist his charm. "Oh, come on, you know I can't resist your irresistible style," I replied, my voice laced with affection. "But a change once in a while won't hurt."
As I stood up, Sirius reached out and grabbed my hand, pulling me closer. "Fine, go raid Remus's wardrobe. But remember, you'll always look best in my eyes," he said, his tone sincere as he gazed at me.
A warmth spread through me, and I squeezed his hand gently. "Likewise, Sirius. Likewise," I replied softly, my heart fluttering at his words.
I gave Sirius a playful wink before slipping out of his arms and walking over to Remus's trunk, which was conveniently located below his bed between Sirius's and James's beds (with Peter's bed tucked in the corner on the left side of the room).
I swayed my hips teasingly, enjoying the exaggerated groan that escaped Sirius's lips as he dramatically flung himself back onto the bed.
Opening Remus's trunk, I rummaged through the contents until I found a cozy maroon sweater that caught my eye. I swiftly switched out Sirius's shirt for the borrowed garment, marveling at its softness and warmth.
"Ah, much better," I remarked, admiring my choice. "Remus has great taste."
Sirius sat up, his eyes roaming appreciatively over my figure in the maroon sweater. "I can't argue with that," he said, a hint of admiration in his voice. "You look stunning."
I blushed at his compliment, feeling a surge of confidence. "Well, I have Remus to thank for this," I replied, gesturing to the sweater. "But I'll always appreciate your fashion sense too."
He grinned mischievously. "I do have a knack for looking good," he quipped, striking a playful pose.
I chuckled and rolled my eyes, unable to resist his charm. "Oh, modest as always, Sirius," I teased, walking back towards him. "But you'll always be my stylish and handsome partner in crime."
He pulled me into his arms, his hands resting gently on my waist. "And you'll always be my beautiful and fashionable accomplice," he whispered, his voice filled with warmth and affection.
I sigh into his embrace, feeling him tug me closer, i rest my elbows on his chest lightly, looking at his closed eyes. I glance away for a moment before looking back, almost falling when his grey eyes look into mine.
“Fuck- that scared me.” I chuckle, breathing slowly. He smiled, his breath fanning my face as he continues to look into my eyes.
“Quit lookin’ at me like that.” I squirm slightly, trying to get away from his eyes.
Sirius chuckled, his grip tightening around me as he held me in place. "Like what?" he asked, his voice low and playful.
I couldn't help but feel a mix of nervousness and excitement under his intense gaze. His eyes held a certain magnetism that always drew me in, making me feel vulnerable yet safe at the same time.
"Like you can see right through me," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. "It's... intimidating."
He raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Intimidating, huh? I always thought you liked a bit of a challenge."
I playfully rolled my eyes, trying to hide the effect his gaze had on me. "Well, sometimes challenges can be... overwhelming."
His smile softened, and he brought his hand up to caress my cheek gently. "I don't mean to overwhelm you," he said sincerely. "I just can't help but be captivated by you."
I felt my heart skip a beat, his words washing over me like a warm embrace. The vulnerability in his eyes mirrored my own, creating an unspoken connection between us.
"I guess I can't blame you," I replied softly, my voice filled with affection. "After all, you've captivated me too."
His lips curled into a gentle smile, and he leaned in closer until our foreheads touched. In that moment, the world around us seemed to fade away, leaving only the intensity of our connection.
"Let's get lost in each other then," he whispered, his voice a mere breath against my lips.
My heart skipped a beat, and I couldn't help but shiver at his proximity. "Sirius, you're incorrigible," I murmured, my voice betraying a mixture of amusement and anticipation.
He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against mine. "That's part of my charm, love," he whispered, his voice husky.
I couldn't resist any longer, and I closed the distance between us, kissing him with a mixture of passion and playfulness. In that moment, the world around us disappeared, and it was just the two of us, lost in the intensity of our connection.
I smile against his lips, feeling him grasp my jaw with his hands- pulling me closer as he pressed his lips harder to mine. My hand plays with the small black baby hair curls on the back of his neck.
I pull away- breathing heavily. I chuckle at the way he chases my lips with his eyes closed and lips pushed out.
He groaned dramatically, trying to pull me back in. “Why’d you move away?” He whines dramatically.
“Your an insufferable Idiot.” I tease, using the first words i said to him three years ago when he asked me out.
Sirius pouted playfully, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "And yet, you're still here, putting up with this insufferable idiot," he replied, his tone laced with amusement.
I couldn't help but laugh, my heart swelling with affection for the boy who had become such an integral part of my life. "Well, what can I say? I have a weakness for insufferable idiots," I teased, running a hand through his hair.
He grinned, his hands sliding down to wrap around my waist. "Lucky for me," he whispered, his lips ghosting over mine.
I leaned in, capturing his lips in another kiss, savoring the familiar taste and the warmth of his embrace. In that moment, all the worries and troubles of the world faded away, and it was just him and me, entwined in our own little bubble of happiness.

JAMES FLEAMONT POTTER, a typically calm and nonviolent individual- other than the few ‘Harmless pranks’, found himself seething with anger, his normally relaxed demeanor now overshadowed by a raging storm. His jaw tightened as he attentively listened to the conversation unfolding across the common room.
The voices belonged to three younger boys, likely a year below them, who had foolishly chosen to discuss James's girlfriend without realizing the hornet's nest they had stirred.
The grating tone of the blonde's voice pierced through James's ears, assaulting his senses like nails on a chalkboard. Each word uttered felt like an unpleasant jolt, fueling his mounting irritation.
"The things I would do to her, man. Have you seen her body? Absolutely fit, man. She has the most amazing tits." The crude remarks and objectifying comments about his girlfriend caused James to abruptly rise from his seat, but before he could make a move, Sirius firmly pulled him back down.
"Yeah, she's got like the hottest body in Hogwarts, have you seen her arse? Her waist is like perfect—man, what I would do to be James. Merlin, the things I would do to her," another one of the boys chimed in, his black hair matching the darkness of his thoughts as he made crude gestures with his hands.
James could feel his blood boiling, his anger reaching its peak as he clenched his fists.
The disappointment and disgust on Sirius's face mirrored James's own feelings, both of them appalled by the disrespectful way these boys were talking about their friend and James's girlfriend.
"Not yet, James," Sirius spoke, a mischievous smirk forming on his face. "Wait until Moony and Wormtail join us, and then we can do something," he said, mentioning their two other friends who were engrossed in their studies.
Sirius rolled his eyes at the mere idea of studying, letting out an exaggerated gag. "I mean, seriously, who actually studies? Bunch of nerds," he added, playfully teasing their freinds.
James nodded, his jaw clenched tightly, but his eyes softened as he caught sight of his girlfriend walking through the common room tunnel. It was one of her off days, so she was dressed in a simple sweater—his sweater, to be precise—and a pair of small shorts hidden beneath it.
A scoff escaped James as the same boys who had been talking about her earlier whistled at her, their lecherous eyes shamelessly roaming over her body. His protective instincts surged, and he fought the urge to march over and give them a taste of his fist.
She walked over to him, a small smile gracing her lips, though the anger simmered beneath the surface as she heard the offensive remarks from the other boys in the room.
Silently, she joined James, sitting beside him and resting her head on his shoulder. She felt his strong grip around her waist.
Sirius offered her a warm smile, understanding the discomfort she felt. He moved closer, taking a seat beside her as she scooted nearer to James, seeking solace in his presence.
Sirius positioned himself protectively, creating a barrier between her and the prying eyes of the other boys.
Remus and Peter entered the room, their faces lighting up with smiles as they joined the others.
Oblivious to the tension in the air, they took their seats near the rest of the group, their presence bringing a sense of normalcy and camaraderie.
James leaned over the girl, his hand tracing gentle patterns on her covered stomach. With a determined expression, he whispered something into Remus's ear, conveying his frustration through his tightened grip.
Remus nodded in understanding, promptly grabbing his wand and casting a spell that filled the room with a subtle, hard-to-see smog.
As the smog enveloped the space, obscuring the view of prying eyes, James released his grip on her, and the warmth of Sirius, Peter, and Remus slowly receded. She found herself sitting there, coughing softly, as she tried to clear the air and regain her composure.
Groans and muffled cries filled the previously obscured room, accompanied by a high-pitched scream that resembled that of a frightened child. Yet, despite the chaos, she remained seated, her confusion mingling with her coughs.
Moments later, the smog dissipated, revealing the boys who had spoken ill of her sprawled on the floor, clad only in their underwear. Their heads sported hair dyed in various vibrant hues, and their faces were marked with bruises and bloodstains.
Her gaze shifted to James, Remus, Peter, and Sirius, who stood together. James wore a mixture of anger and accomplishment on his face, nursing his bruised hand with slight traces of red dripping from his knuckles.
Sirius wore a self-satisfied smirk, pretending to be a detached observer of the scene unfolding before them.
Remus held his wand with a mischievous smile, his lip bruised and his sandy hair disheveled.
Peter, standing alongside them, held his wand as well, surveying the aftermath of the prank with a mixture of awe and satisfaction.
James smirked, the intensity in his eyes gradually giving way to tenderness as he locked gazes with her.
Closing the distance between them, he approached, his non-bloodied hand gently caressing her cheek as he leaned in, his warm breath cascading over her face.
"If anyone ever treats you like that again, let me know, alright? I'm always here for you," he whispered, his lips hovering inches away from hers. In the next moment, their lips collided, the passion and affection evident as he held her cheek with one hand, the other securing her waist, drawing her closer in an embrace that conveyed both protection and desire.

h help but hum a tune under her breath, oblivious to the chatter around her. Her leg bounced rhythmically, tapping lightly against the floor in tune with her cheerful disposition.
Her gaze was fixated on the hand of her boyfriend, its size and slight roughness captivating her attention. With a mischievous glimmer in her eyes, she delicately trailed her quill, freshly dipped in ink, along his skin, leaving a whimsical trail behind.
James glanced at her, a bemused expression spreading across his face as he followed the path of the quill on his hand. "What are you up to, love?" he asked, unable to hide the amusement in his voice.
Y/N smirked, meeting his gaze with a playful twinkle in her eyes. "Just leaving my mark, so you'll always remember me," she replied, feigning seriousness before breaking into a giggle.
James chuckled, a hint of affection coloring his tone. "As if I could ever forget you, my love. Besides, it's a much better way to claim me as yours than writing your name on my forehead," he quipped, earning a playful swat on the arm from Y/N.
Resting her head gently on his shoulder, she playfully doodled on his hand with her inked quill, the voice of the professor fading into the background.
James responded with a small smile, hidden from her view. He hummed a tune under his breath, propping his head up with his other hand, allowing his right hand to serve as her canvas.
As she continued to doodle, she sketched a small duck on his thumb and a whimsical row of flowers flowing from his palm to his pointer finger. James, captivated by her artistic touch, slowed her movements with a gentle kiss to her jaw.
Her eyes sparkled as she turned to him, his soft gaze reflecting the tenderness in his voice.
"What are you drawing, Darling?" James spoke in hushed tones, curiosity dancing in his eyes.
"Just some doodles, James," she replied with a warm smile, her attention returning to his hand. James smiled in response, allowing the chatter of the class to fade into the background as he focused on the comforting presence of her hand in his.
They remained in that intimate position for the rest of the class, finding solace and connection in the simple act of being together.

Summary: James likes a girl, who shows no interest in him. Though it isn’t new, and he’s still like a puppy in love.
Disclaimer(s): Cursing
Tumblr media
JAMES POTTER was completely smitten with a girl who, to his dismay, showed not the slightest hint of reciprocating his affection. Oh, the irony!
Like an eager puppy, he trailed her relentlessly, day after day, his eyes brimming with adoration and a sparkle that only intensified upon catching a glimpse of her.
His unwavering devotion knew no bounds as he gladly shouldered the weight of her burdens, eager to anticipate her every need.
Sulking in the Great Hall, James Potter appeared like a dejected puppy, arms defiantly crossed. His hazel eyes, still heavy with sleep, reflected both weariness and an undeniable yearning. Breakfast unfolded before him, accompanied by his loyal companions: Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew.
Despite the jovial atmosphere, James's gaze ceaselessly wandered the expanse of the grand hall, desperately seeking a familiar figure that effortlessly ignited his heart. Each passing moment felt like an eternity, his emotions riding a rollercoaster of anticipation and hope.
"Lost in his infatuation," Sirius remarked playfully, his tongue clicking with mischievous delight. Remus suppressed a chuckle, huddling closer to his book as he enjoyed the scene unfolding before him.
Amidst James's scowl, a playful glint shone in his eyes, perpetually scanning the surroundings in eager anticipation. Sirius, always the purveyor of mischief, dramatically gasped, his own grey eyes widening mischievously. "Look, Prongs, your beloved master has arrived," he teased, unable to resist poking fun at James's infatuation.
Following Sirius's pointed finger, James's head swiftly turned, and his heart leaped within his chest as he beheld the girl who trudged wearily into view. Without a moment's hesitation, he sprang to his feet, propelled by an overwhelming desire to be near her.
Amidst the light-hearted banter, Remus couldn't help but snicker, gently setting his book aside. "He's utterly lost without her," he chuckled, fully aware of the profound connection that had ensnared James's heart.
James matched his stride with hers, effortlessly catching up to the object of his affection. He gazed upon her with adoration, his eyes caressing every feature, completely unfazed by the scowl she aimed his way.
"Potter," she spat out his name with a sharpness akin to acid. Undeterred, James shook his head, a smitten smile playing on his lips as he remained steadfast in his adoring gaze, even if it meant unintentionally stumbling into a sulking first-year.
"Oops, sorry there," James muttered, slightly flustered but unable to tear his eyes away from the captivating girl before him. It was as if the whole world could crumble around him, but he would remain blissfully lost in her presence.
Ever since they were eleven, James had been undeniably smitten with her, their shared journey now reaching the age of sixteen. His body instinctively gravitated towards hers, fighting the urge to intertwine their fingers and unleash the pent-up longing within his heart.
"Sorry," she offered a gentle apology to the first-year James had accidentally collided with, her tone remarkably softer and distinctly different from the harshness she reserved for him.
The contrasting sweetness of her voice panged within James, for he yearned to be the recipient of such tenderness. Nonetheless, he took hold of the strap of her bag, determined to relieve her of any burden in his presence. After all, she should never have to carry her own belongings when James was around.
Unyielding, she attempted to reclaim her bag, urging him to return it with a tone slightly softer, a flicker of vulnerability hidden beneath her scowl. “Give it back James, Don’t’ need you carin’ it for me.” She spoke
Yet, James remained unfazed, his smile unwavering, his lips slightly jutting out in an endearing manner. With wide, puppy-like eyes fixed upon her, he replied, "S’fine, love," his voice laced with unspoken affection and a sincere desire to protect and care for her.
James guided her towards the spot where he and his friends were settled, his subtle gestures silently coaxing her to take the seat beside him.
However, she chose to sit next to Remus instead, offering him a soft smile that tugged at James's heart with a pang of jealousy. "Hey, Remus," she greeted the brown-eyed boy warmly, her voice dripping with genuine affection.
Sirius, ever the keen observer, raised an eyebrow mischievously, keenly aware of the subtle changes in James's demeanor.
He couldn't help but notice the tightness in James's clenched jaw and the transformation of his once tender, loving eyes into a steely gaze whenever his attention shifted to the pair.
"Now, now, let's not go around killing poor Moony here," Sirius playfully teased, delivering a playful smack to James's shoulder.
Wearing an awkward smile, she turned her attention to Peter, who had a piece of bacon dangling halfway into his mouth.
"So, Peter, how's Potions been treating you? Heard you had a little mishap with that third-year and ended up exploding your cauldron," she playfully taunted, her eyes flickering mischievously toward the wide-eyed boy.
James couldn't help but emit an exasperated huff, stabbing his fork into his pancakes with more force than necessary. "Oh, look, the puppy's getting jealous," Sirius whispered with a mischievous grin, promptly earning a smack on the back of his head from Remus and a piercing scowl from James.
Tumblr media
James and Y/N strolled through the dimly lit halls, the soft glow of the floating candles casting an ethereal ambiance around them.
"I didn't know you were a prefect," she murmured, breaking the silence that weighed heavy on their surroundings. She couldn't bear the quietness, nor the intensity of James's lovesick gaze fixed upon her.
James pressed his lips together, concealing a secret smile that threatened to surface. Finally, she was talking to him.
However, he decided to keep to himself the truth that he had worked diligently, studying hard and earning excellent marks on his tests, all in the hopes of becoming a prefect alongside her.
He had overheard her desire to be a prefect last year, and he wanted nothing more than to share that experience with her.
"Yeah, it was a surprise owl one night, and just like that, I became a prefect without even trying," he replied, attempting to sound nonchalant.
Yet, a wince flashed across his face immediately after the words left his lips. He had come across too cocky, and it stung him deeply. In reality, he had indeed tried, putting in genuine effort to become a prefect alongside her.
He had gone to great lengths, even attempting to bribe the head prefects to assign him and her to patrol together, time and time again.
She couldn't help but cringe slightly, inwardly berating herself as she nodded in response. She desperately tried to avert her gaze from his face, fighting the urge to let her eyes roam freely.
She resisted the temptation to study every detail, from his captivating hazel eyes down to the bridge of his nose adorned with a sprinkle of freckles that peeked out beneath his round glasses.
She admired the way his dark brown curls framed his face and the mischievous smirk that always seemed to grace his lips.
Frustrated with her own inability to resist these observations, she let out a quiet huff, drawing a questioning look from James. "You know, you don't have to carry that," she pointed out, tilting her head slightly in reference to her bag that he still held onto dutifully.
Her scowl masked a hint of internal turmoil, as she grappled with her conflicting emotions
James shrugged, a gentle smile playing on his lips. He readjusted the strap of her bag, feeling a slight ache in his shoulder from carrying it almost the entire day, during those moments when he insisted on accompanying her and shadowing her like a devoted puppy.
"S’fine," he replied with a smirk, his eyes darting between her eyes and her lips. She attempted to dismiss the intensity of his expression, trying to ignore the subtle way his tongue peeked out, grazing his lips.
She swallowed nervously, her mind filled with conflicting emotions. She was supposed to despise this guy, so why did she find herself being drawn to him in this inexplicable way?
James couldn't help but smirk mischievously, raising an intrigued eyebrow in response to her questioning gaze. As they continued walking through the halls, she made a conscious effort to keep her face averted, hoping to conceal the faint flush that had spread across her cheeks.
Unbeknownst to her, James noticed everything.
He possessed an uncanny ability to pick up on the tiniest of details—whether it was a new haircut, a solitary pimple on her face, a subtle change in her eyes, or even the slight shift of her body language.
His perceptive nature and unwavering attentiveness allowed him to observe and appreciate every nuance that made her uniquely her.
It was as if he held an unwritten catalog of her every feature, storing away the intricacies that painted the portrait of the person he held a deep affection for.
She cleared her throat, discreetly running her hand down the sides of her body to adjust her oversized sweater. James couldn't help but smile, stealing a glance at her before redirecting his gaze forward.
He couldn't help but yearn for the day when she would wear his clothes, a tangible symbol of their connection, instead of the worn sweater she had been sporting since returning from Christmas break. (Not wearing it over and over of course)
Yes, he was that attuned to her preferences and personal history.
Drawing upon his courage, James subtly shifted his body closer to hers, relishing in the delicate brushes of their hands and shoulders.
Each fleeting contact sent a wave of blissful anticipation coursing through his veins, as if their proximity held a secret language of its own.
Suppressing a smile, she allowed their bodies to remain in close proximity for the time being. "So, how were your classes?" she asked softly, her aversion to small talk making it difficult for her to initiate conversations.
Inwardly, she hoped James would steer the conversation towards a more engaging topic.
James couldn't help but smile as they rounded the corner, feeling a surge of warmth and excitement within him. If he could go back in time and tell his first-year self that he would eventually have the privilege of brushing hands with and engaging in conversation with the girl he envisioned spending his entire life with, his younger self would have been absolutely beside himself.
"Just got detention from dear old Minnie," James sighed dramatically, running a hand through his tousled curls. He glanced at her, a playful glint in his eyes. "But don't worry, she'll come around eventually," he added with a wink, subtly hinting at his growing affection for her.
"I'm sure she will," Y/N chuckled, her laughter causing James's heart to flutter. He observed her closely, his eyes filled with adoration as he watched her nose scrunch up and her eyes crinkle with joy.
It was moments like these that he treasured, where he could witness her genuine happiness and feel his own soul light up in response.
Y/N playfully raised an eyebrow, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "So, did your little gang get detention with you?" she asked, a hint of mischief lacing her words. She was, of course, referring to Remus, Sirius, and Peter, who were often inseparable from James.
James chuckled, shaking his head. "Nah, they managed to escape Minnie's wrath this time," he replied, a touch of admiration in his voice. "Those three have a knack for slipping through the cracks. But I guess that's what makes them my partners in mischief," he added with a grin.
Y/N's lips curled into a knowing smile. "Partners in mischief, huh? Sounds like quite the dynamic trio," she remarked, playfully nudging James's arm. The camaraderie between James and his friends was undeniable, and Y/N couldn't help but find it endearing.
Tumblr media
Waking up in the arms of the person she had sworn to hate since their first year at Hogwarts was a surreal experience for Y/N. If someone had told her younger self about this, she would have scoffed and dismissed it as sheer madness.
But the memories of the previous night came rushing back to her, flooding her mind with a mixture of surprise and warmth.
She recalled her sleep-addled self murmuring incoherently as James guided her into the Common Room, his concern and adoration evident in his every action. He had insisted on watching over her so she could rest peacefully.
In her drowsy state, Y/N had found herself inexplicably yearning for the presence of the lovesick boy, almost pleading for him to cuddle with her. And, to her astonishment, he had obliged, albeit hesitantly, careful not to overstep any boundaries.
And that was how she found herself in this predicament—the comfort of her head nestled against James's chest, her ears attuned to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat and the gentle sound of his breath.
Their legs were entangled, fitting together like two perfectly matched puzzle pieces—something James probably imagined as well.
Y/N couldn't help but notice his hand tracing delicate patterns on her slightly exposed skin, his subconscious gestures revealing a tenderness he only wished to also do in his out of dream state.
Y/N let out a soft huff of air, attempting to wiggle free from James's firm yet gentle hold. But he mumbled unintelligibly, his voice gravelly with sleep, as he tugged her closer, not willing to let her go. "Stay," he murmured, his voice laced with a sleepy plea.
Her cheeks flushed with warmth, a combination of embarrassment and a fluttering feeling in her chest. She couldn't deny the allure of being held in James's embrace, even if it went against the walls she had built around her heart.
"James," she whispered, her voice barely audible, into the fabric of his chest as he pulled her closer. The two of them lay intertwined on the sofa in the common room, the early morning silence enveloping them like a comforting blanket.
She silently thanked Merlin that no one had ventured downstairs yet, no one would see the boy who loved the girl who denied him every chance he took.
Her words hung in the air, a gentle plea for him to acknowledge her presence, to understand the mix of emotions swirling inside her.
His grip on her hip tightened slightly, his touch conveying a mixture of possessiveness and a sleepy reluctance to let her go. He grumbled softly, the sound vibrating against her skin, as if he were caught between the realms of consciousness and dreams.
Y/N felt her heart skip a beat at his response, her mind swirling with a myriad of thoughts and emotions. The closeness between them felt both exhilarating and unnerving, as if they were teetering on the edge of something significant.
"James," she whispered once more, her voice a tender plea laced with vulnerability. The single word carried the weight of unspoken sentiments, expressing a desire for understanding and connection.
His grip on her hip loosened slightly, and his sleepy eyes fluttered open, meeting her gaze with a mix of confusion and tenderness.
In that fleeting moment, the world around them seemed to fade into the background, leaving only the two of them in their shared space of intimacy.
"Hi," James greeted with a charming and slightly goofy smile, his eyes brimming with an overwhelming amount of love and affection. The intensity of his gaze caused her to avert her eyes momentarily, feeling a mix of shyness and warmth wash over her.
Seizing the opportunity, James gently tugged her closer, his touch guiding her until their bodies aligned, chest to chest. The sensation of their hearts beating in unison added a layer of intimacy.
"Hi," she whispered back, her voice barely audible, her own smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
Her heart fluttered in her chest, beating in synchrony with the rapid pace of her thoughts. It was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking to be in this moment with him.
As she nestled her head under his chin, she felt a mix of vulnerability and comfort wash over her.
It was to quick for her heart, sure this boy had been pinning over her like a lovesick puppy for almost more than five years.
And sure she had felt her emotions reciprocating his a year ago, but she was scared. Scared that once he got her he would leave her.
The fear that had held her back for so long still lingered, but in this embrace, she allowed herself to let go, to bask in the warmth of his presence. Ignoring his surprised sound, she felt a sense of contentment settle deep within her as they breathed in unison.
"I love you," James whispered, his words hanging in the air as he tightened his arms around her, seeking to express the depth of his emotions.
For five long years, he had professed his love, and she had doubted him. But in that moment, as her own voice trembled with vulnerability, she found the courage to say the words she had never thought she would utter.
The weight of the admission settled between them, forging a connection that felt both fragile and unbreakable.
"I love you too," she whispered back, her voice barely audible, as if testing the reality of her own feelings.
His breath caught in his throat, a mix of surprise and joy washing over him. His grip on her tightened, his breath quivering with a delighted giggle. Though she couldn't see it, the love-struck smile played upon his lips, a reflection of his overflowing happiness.
"Ah, you said it back!" he exclaimed, his voice laced with a mix of disbelief and elation. The moment brimmed with a lightness, and even in the darkness, their shared laughter filled the space.
"Hey now, Potter, don't get too comfortable," she teased playfully, her words a playful reminder that their journey had just begun.
James sat up, gently pulling her with him, keeping her nestled against his chest. His eyes sparkled with a mix of adoration and excitement as he showered her face with a cascade of affectionate kisses.
Each tender touch spoke volumes of his love, starting from her neck and traveling up to her jawline, then caressing her cheeks, nose, and finally landing on her forehead.
As he pulled back slightly, his gaze locked onto hers, his eyes silently conveying his unspoken desire. His glance lingered on her lips, a subtle yet unmistakable invitation awaiting her response.
A soft nod from her granted him permission, and with that, their lips finally met in a long-awaited kiss.
A smile played on James's face as he poured his heart into that single moment, capturing all the lovesick smiles, stolen glances, and longing that had filled their five-year journey.
It was a kiss that spoke volumes, a convergence of emotions and desires unleashed with a passion that could no longer be contained.
In that tender embrace, time seemed to stand still as their lips danced in perfect harmony. It was a kiss that marked the beginning of a new chapter, a declaration of their shared love, and a promise of a future filled with unending affection and devotion.
And so they fell back asleep, wrapped in each other's loving embrace, blissfully unaware of the curious eyes that observed their intertwined figures and the hushed murmurs of gossiping voices.
News of their newfound connection spread like wildfire throughout the school, capturing the attention and excitement of their peers. Even the teachers couldn't resist being swept up in the joyous atmosphere, some having secretly placed bets on whether they would finally become a couple.
As whispers of their relationship echoed through the corridors, it was a day of celebration and triumph for all who had rooted for their love to bloom.
In that peaceful slumber, oblivious to the world around them, James and Y/N basked in the warmth of their shared affection, ready to face the challenges and adventures that awaited them as a united couple.
It was a blissful day, marking the beginning of a love story that would be cherished for years to come.

Y/N's footsteps echoed through the room, each one a heavy burden upon her anguished heart.
The weight of sorrow hung in the air as she struggled to catch her breath, the labored gasps a desperate attempt to fill the void within. James, his soul laid bare, sat on the edge of the bed, his voice a fragile whisper, pleading for her presence.
But as he spoke, his voice trembled, shattered by the raw ache that consumed him.
Tears clung to his lashes, shimmering like crystalline fragments of his broken spirit.
His once-lustrous brown curls now tangled and disheveled, mirroring the chaos of his inner world. Beside him, his round glasses lay discarded on the table, a silent witness to the blurred vision of his heart.
"Please sit," he implored, the words escaping his quivering lips, bearing the weight of a plea that reached depths unknown. It was a plea not only for physical presence, but for a chance to bridge the vast emotional chasm that had grown between them.
Y/N's anger flickered, a flame of resentment in her weary eyes. Her response dripped with bitter defiance, her voice laced with an undercurrent of pain.
"No," she spat, her words a testament to the searing ache that had settled within her.
Her pacing resumed, a desperate attempt to outrun the painful truth that haunted their connection. The weight of her words settled heavily upon the room, the silence pregnant with unspoken anguish.
"You still love her, don't you?" Her voice, barely a whisper, wavered, revealing the fragile vulnerability that lay beneath her anger. It was a question laced with heartache, the very essence of her deepest fear now laid bare.
James froze, his entire being stilled in the face of her heart-wrenching inquiry. Tear-filled eyes averted, his eyes sought refuge in the safety of the floor, unable to confront the devastating truth that had shattered their world.
In that profound moment of silence, the weight of their unspoken emotions threatened to engulf them both, leaving them adrift in a sea of broken dreams and shattered hopes
Y/N's hands clenched into her hair, her trembling lip betraying the torrent of emotions coursing through her.
James, a desperate flame of denial burning within him, reacted with haste, rising from the bed and drawing himself close to her.
His hands reached for hers, gently prying them away from her tear-stained face.
"No, no, I love you," he sobbed, his voice a broken plea, desperately attempting to convince her of his devotion.
But the unspoken truth hung heavily between them, an invisible specter that whispered in their hearts.
Deep down, they both knew that his heart belonged to another, a reality that overshadowed their connection, rendering their love fragile and incomplete.
Y/N struggled in a feeble attempt to break free from the grip of the curly-haired boy, her heart heavy with anguish.
Yet, he refused to let her go, pulling her closer, his touch desperate and unsteady. With a tear-stained cheek, he pressed a sloppy, bittersweet kiss upon her face, leaving a trace of salt mingled with their shattered love.
"Please," he cried, his voice cracking with a profound sorrow that resonated through every fiber of his being.
He held her tightly, his arms enveloping her trembling form as he cradled the back of her hair with a tenderness born of desperation.
He clung to her, yearning to keep their fragile connection intact, as if by sheer force of will he could mend the fractures in their broken bond.
She weakly struck at his chest, her blows feeble and devoid of anger. Her sobs engulfed her, the sound of her broken spirit echoing against his chest.
It was a feeble attempt to channel her pain into frustration, a futile struggle against the overwhelming tide of emotions that threatened to drown them both.
"Was I just a shitty way of getting over her?" she hiccuped, her voice trembling with a mix of vulnerability and pain.
She fought to stifle her sobs, desperate to maintain some semblance of composure amidst the overwhelming emotions that threatened to consume her.
James, tears streaming silently down his face, cast his gaze upward, fixating on the ceiling.
In the depths of his despair, his heart shattered with the weight of her words, understanding the devastating truth they held.
"I really do love you," he sobbed, his voice breaking with the weight of his emotions. With an agonized determination, he pulled her even closer, until their bodies were tightly pressed against each other, seeking solace in their shared embrace.
Slowly, they lowered themselves to the ground, their movements marked by the heaviness of their hearts.
His arms enveloped her, cradling her fragile form against his chest, as they rocked back and forth, their bodies intertwined in a dance of sorrow and longing.
She shook her head, her face contorted with anguish and disbelief. "You don't, James," she whispered, her voice cracking under the weight of her shattered heart. The pain in her words echoed through the room, suffusing the air with a profound sense of loss.
James let out a gut-wrenching whimper, his grip around her tightening instinctively. It was as if he hoped that by holding her closer, he could bridge the insurmountable distance that had grown between them.
But his grip, filled with desperation, couldn't erase the truth that hung heavy in the air.
"You love Lily, you always have," she whispered, her voice laden with aching resignation. Her words cracked once again, the pain seeping through each syllable.
She had known deep down that she had been the other girl, a mere distraction in his heart's relentless pursuit of Lily.
James whimpered again, the sound gut-wrenching and filled with regret. He swallowed hard, attempting to suppress a sob that threatened to consume him.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry," he pleaded, his voice breaking and whining, a wounded animal seeking forgiveness.
The weight of his remorse hung heavily in the air, his words a desperate plea for absolution that seemed perpetually out of reach
"I love you, James," she uttered, her voice shattered and filled with raw vulnerability.
Though she knew deep down that his love belonged elsewhere, she needed to hear those words from him one more time. It was a plea born out of desperation, a desperate grasp at a fading glimmer of hope.
James, his own heart heavy with the weight of their fractured love, met her gaze, his eyes brimming with unshed tears.
He understood the depth of her longing, the yearning for a love that could never truly be fully reciprocated.
His voice trembled as he mustered the strength to respond, wanting to offer her solace, even if it meant sacrificing his own happiness.
"I...," he began, his voice caught between a whisper and a sigh, as he fought against the painful truth. In that moment, his love for her mingled with the lingering echoes of his love for Lily.
The words hung in the air, the unspoken confession that they both clung to, knowing that the reality they faced was far from the ideal they had yearned for.
With a sigh that carried the weight of her suppressed tears, she let go of her breath, her emotions simmering beneath the surface.
Weary and exhausted, she rested her tired head back on his chest, seeking solace in the familiar rhythm of his heartbeat.
“I love you too," he finally whispered, his voice tender and filled with a mixture of longing and remorse.
As he cradled her fragile body, he offered a small glimmer of solace amidst the turbulence of their emotions. In that moment, he held her with a gentleness that spoke volumes of his affection, a silent apology for the pain he had caused.

THE GREAT HALL buzzed with animated chatter as the teenagers filed in, eager to partake in the spread of breakfast delicacies adorning the long, stretched tables. Amongst the bustling crowd, Sirius Black found himself seated alongside his friends James, Remus, and Peter.
As they animatedly discussed their latest pranks, Sirius's mind wandered, consumed by thoughts of his girlfriend.
Y/N had been unwell for an entire week, depriving Sirius of her presence. The mere notion of being separated from her for such a prolonged period left him feeling starved for her company.
Y/N had gone to seek medical attention from Madam Pomfrey, who imposed strict restrictions on visitors, further intensifying Sirius's longing to see her.
James, ever observant, nudged Sirius gently. "You alright there, mate? You seem a bit lost in your thoughts."
Sirius snapped back to reality, a wistful expression on his face. "Just missing Y/N like crazy. It's been a week of pure torture without her," he lamented with a hint of melodrama.
His friends couldn't help but chuckle at Sirius's theatrics. Letting out an exaggerated sigh, he dramatically draped his body, leaning on Remus for support.
"Oh, Remus," he sighed with faux despair, "Wake me up from this endless slumber when my love finally returns."
Remus, playing along with a smirk, gently patted Sirius on the back. "I'll be sure to give you a good shake when that moment arrives, mate. But until then, you'll just have to endure the heartache," he replied in a teasing tone.
James chimed in, his eyes gleaming mischievously. "Or we can try to sneak you into the hospital wing disguised as a nurse. What do you think?"
Sirius's face lit up at the thought, his dramatic demeanor momentarily forgotten. "Now that's a brilliant idea! We could cause some serious chaos," he exclaimed, enthusiasm brimming in his voice.
Peter, always ready to join the fun, added with a grin, "Count me in! Operation 'Nurse Padfoot' it is!"
The friends shared a boisterous laugh, their playful banter providing a lighthearted respite from Sirius's lovesick state.
As Remus let out a thoughtful hum, his eyes instinctively turned towards the grand entrance of the Great Hall. The heavy doors swung open, revealing a figure that instantly caught his attention.
There stood Y/N, looking well and radiant, stepping into the bustling hall.
Sirius, still draped dramatically over Remus, followed his friend's gaze and gasped dramatically. "Remus! It's a miracle! My love has returned!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with exaggerated joy.
Y/N, spotting Sirius among his friends, couldn't help but smile at the sight of his theatrics.
She made her way towards them, a playful glint in her eyes. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? A lovesick Sirius in need of rescuing?" she teased, a hint of mischief in her voice.
Sirius quickly sprung to his feet, his dramatic demeanor momentarily replaced by genuine excitement. "Y/N! You're back!" he exclaimed, his arms outstretched, ready to embrace her.
Y/N matched his enthusiasm, closing the distance between them and enveloping him in a warm hug. "I missed you too, you big drama queen," she whispered with a playful smile.
Their friends watched with amusement, sharing knowing glances as the reunited couple exchanged heartfelt greetings. The Great Hall seemed to come alive with the energy of their joyous reunion, their playful banter filling the air with laughter
“Hey, boys," Y/N greeted with a warm smile, settling herself beside Remus.
Before she could fully settle in, Sirius swiftly wrapped an arm around her waist and gently pulled her onto his lap, settling them both down.
Remus playfully raised an eyebrow. "Well, well, look who's finally back to grace us with her presence," he teased, his tone filled with mock surprise.
Y/N leaned back against Sirius, snuggling into his embrace. "Oh, you know you missed me, Remus," she retorted, playfully poking his side.
James, joining in the banter, chimed in, "It's good to have you back, Y/N. Sirius has been quite the lost puppy without you."
Sirius pouted dramatically, his arms tightening around Y/N. "Hey now, I wasn't that lost... okay, maybe I was a little bit," he admitted with a sheepish grin, earning him a chorus of laughter from his friends.
Y/N leaned up and pressed a gentle kiss to Sirius's cheek. "Don't worry, my drama king. I'm here now, and I promise to keep you entertained," she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
The group erupted into laughter once again, their playful camaraderie filling the air with a joyful energy.
"Oh, Remus," Y/N began, attempting to extricate herself from Sirius's tight grip, his face still buried in her neck, unwilling to let go.
“Do you think i could borrow your potions book?” She spoke, as she pressed her palms against his chest, gently pushing back.
She then gave up trying to escape his hold.
Remus chuckled, watching the amusing scene unfold before him.
"Ah, the perils of being loved by Sirius Black," he remarked, shaking his head with a smirk. "And of course, I've got you covered. I have that potions book you need, and I've already prepared some notes for you."
Y/N's eyes lit up with gratitude and relief. "Remus, you're a lifesaver! You know how bad I am at taking notes," she confessed, shooting a grateful glance his way.
Sirius, finally releasing his tight hold on her, feigned offense. "Hey, what's wrong with my notes? I'll have you know, my doodles are quite informative," he protested with a playful pout.
Y/N laughed, ruffling Sirius's hair affectionately. "Oh, your doodles are a work of art, no doubt. But I think I'll trust Remus's comprehensive notes this time," she teased, earning herself a mock offended gasp from Sirius.
As the laughter subsided, Remus passed the potions book to Y/N with a smile. "Here you go, Y/N. Consider it your ticket to catching up in class. Just promise me you won't let Sirius doodle in it," he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Y/N grinned mischievously, looking back at Sirius. "No doodles, promise?" she asked, holding out her pinky finger for him to make the pledge.
Sirius, feigning innocence, wrapped his pinky around hers. "I solemnly swear, no doodles in your precious book," he declared, giving her a cheeky wink.
Sirius let out a theatrical sigh, his arms tightening around Y/N as he declared,
"Unfortunately, my dear Y/N and I won't be gracing the classrooms with our presence today." He punctuated his statement with another exaggerated sigh, feigning sadness.
James raised an amused eyebrow, adjusting his glasses. Peter, engrossed in his pumpkin juice, seemed unfazed by the announcement.
Meanwhile, Remus, engrossed in his book, couldn't help but listen to Sirius's proclamation, albeit with a playful smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.
"And why is that, my dear Padfoot?" James inquired with a playful grin, struggling to suppress his laughter at the perplexed expression on Y/N's face.
Sirius dramatically shifted his gaze to Y/N, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. "Well, you see, dear James, it's a matter of utmost importance," he began, pausing for dramatic effect.
"Y/N here requires an emergency session of cuddles and laughter to cure her severe case of class-avoiditis," he declared, earning himself an incredulous look from Y/N.
Y/N couldn't help but burst into laughter, swatting Sirius playfully on the arm. "Class-avoiditis? Is that even a thing?"
Sirius feigned offense, clutching his chest dramatically. "Of course, it is! I'm Sirius Black, expert in all things mischief-related and made-up illnesses," he proclaimed proudly, flashing a playful wink at his friends.
James chuckled, shaking his head in mock disapproval. "I swear, you two are a never-ending source of entertainment."
The group dissolved into laughter, their lighthearted banter filling the air with joy and camaraderie.
As the laughter subsided, James was quick to seize the moment. He wore a mischievous smirk as he spoke up, breaking the silence. "You know what, guys? Maybe we should all just skip class today," he suggested, his eyes glinting with mischief.
Remus playfully shook his head, a feigned look of disapproval on his face. "Oh, James, you're always the instigator of our rebellious adventures," he remarked, though a small chuckle escaped his lips.
Peter, finally tuning into the conversation, perked up with curiosity. "Wait, are we really going to skip class? I mean, I don't want to be left out," he admitted, a mix of excitement and nervousness evident in his voice.
Y/N glanced around at her friends, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. "Well, if the Marauders are in agreement, who am I to resist the temptation of a little adventure?" she declared, playfully nudging Sirius.
Sirius grinned, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. "That's the spirit! A day filled with mischief and laughter awaits us!" he exclaimed, his enthusiasm infectious.
Y/N paused, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she contemplated her response.
With a playful sigh borrowed from Sirius, she dramatically feigned a cough. "You know, guys, I was just sick for a whole week," she announced, her voice filled with faux exhaustion. "I think I could use a relaxing day in the comfort of our dorm."
Sirius blinked, momentarily caught off guard by Y/N's unexpected suggestion. "But... but mischief and adventures!" he protested, a playful pout forming on his lips.
James grinned, nudging Sirius with an elbow. "Come on, mate, even the Marauders need a break once in a while," he teased, winking at Y/N.
Remus, ever the voice of reason, nodded in agreement. "Y/N does have a point. We could use a day to recharge and just enjoy each other's company," he suggested, giving Y/N a supportive smile.
Peter chimed in, his excitement slightly subdued. "I guess a relaxing day sounds nice too. We can always plan our next epic prank later," he suggested, trying to hide his disappointment.
Y/N smirked, reveling in her small victory. "Alright, then. It's settled. A day of relaxation it is," she declared, playfully pointing her finger at Sirius. "But I expect some top-notch entertainment from you, Mr. Black."
Sirius playfully saluted. "Consider it done, my lady. Prepare to be entertained!" he proclaimed with a theatrical flourish, earning a round of laughter from his friends.
˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
The Marauders gathered in their dorm, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. James and Remus were seated on the floor, engrossed in a friendly card game.
Peter observed them, scratching his head in confusion. "How do you guys even play this?" he muttered to himself, determined to crack the code.
Y/N found herself comfortably nestled in Sirius's embrace on his bed. He held her tightly, as if afraid to let her go even for a moment. "No moving allowed," Sirius playfully declared, flashing a mischievous grin at Y/N.
Y/N giggled, playfully squirming in his hold. "But I can't breathe, Sirius!" she protested, her voice laced with mock desperation.
Sirius responded with an exaggerated gasp, dramatically clutching his heart. "My poor, suffocating princess! How could I be so cruel?" he exclaimed dramatically, feigning a look of deep remorse.
Y/N rolled her eyes, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Oh, please. You're lucky I enjoy being in your suffocating embrace," she teased, poking him in the side.
Meanwhile, James looked up from his card game, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Hey, Peter, want to join us? We can teach you the ropes of this highly complex card game," he offered with a cheeky grin, motioning for Peter to join them.
Peter's eyes widened, his face lighting up with excitement. "Really? That'd be great!" he exclaimed eagerly, quickly scooting over to join James and Remus on the floor.
Y/N dramatically threw her hands up in the air, pretending to be in distress. "Oh, James, save me!" she cried out, feigning desperation as she clung to Sirius's arm, preventing any chance of escape from his tight embrace.
James, always up for a bit of theatrics, playe along with a dramatic gasp. "Fear not, fair maiden! I shall rescue you from the clutches of this evil captor!" he proclaimed, raising an imaginary sword as he approached the bed.
Sirius grinned mischievously, holding Y/N tighter to him. "Over my dead body, Prongs!" he retorted, pretending to shield Y/N with his body.
Remus, watching the scene unfold, couldn't help but shake his head with a smile. "You lot are something else," he remarked, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Peter, not wanting to be left out, joined in with his own theatrical flourish. "And I, Peter, shall be the wise sage who advises both sides!" he declared, striking a pose and pretending to hold a staff.
Laughter echoed through the dorm as the friends reveled in their own silly theatrics.
As the night settled and the sky darkened, everyone found their own little corners to unwind and pursue their individual activities.
Y/N leaned back against Sirius, letting out a contented sigh as she closed her eyes, enjoying the comfort of his presence.
Sirius, ever the affectionate one, began peppering gentle kisses along her jawline, neck, and face, savoring the closeness they shared.
A soft giggle escaped Y/N's lips as she felt the tickling sensation of his kisses. "You know, Sirius, you have a peculiar fascination with my face," she teased, her voice filled with affectionate amusement.
Sirius paused, his lips still hovering near her cheek. "Can you blame me? It's the most beautiful face in the world," he replied playfully, a hint of sincerity in his voice.
Y/N's heart fluttered at his words, and she couldn't help but open her eyes to gaze into his adoring eyes. "Smooth talker," she teased, lightly tapping his nose with her finger.
Sirius grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Only for you, my love," he replied, planting a gentle kiss on the tip of her finger.
As she relaxed into his embrace, Y/N felt the weariness settle into her body, inviting the comforting embrace of slumber. Her eyelids grew heavier, gently closing as she surrendered to the soothing sensation of
Sirius's lips planting soft kisses along her jawline. Each tender touch seemed to lull her further into a state of tranquility.
The gentle rhythm of his affectionate kisses created a lullaby for her senses, coaxing her closer to the realm of dreams.
With each brush of his lips against her skin, a sense of calm washed over her, easing the weight of the day's events and filling her with a sense of serenity.
Y/N let out a soft, contented sigh, her eyelids growing heavy. "Looks like I'm about to enter the dreamland," she murmured, her voice tinged with playful exhaustion.
Sirius grinned, mischief dancing in his eyes. "Oh no, you're not slipping away without me!" he exclaimed, wrapping his arms tightly around her and gently lowering himself onto the bed, bringing her even closer. He nestled her snugly against his chest, like a protective cocoon.
Y/N giggled, her voice filled with a hint of drowsy amusement. "You're quite the snuggle expert, aren't you?" she teased, playfully nudging his side.
Sirius chuckled, his chest vibrating against her cheek. "Well, it's just one of my many talents," he replied, feigning modesty.
As they settled into their cozy position, their breaths synchronizing, a wave of warmth and tranquility washed over them.
The room seemed to envelop them in a comforting embrace, cocooning them in a bubble of serenity.
James's mischievous grin spread across his face as he caught sight of the cuddled couple. He nudged Peter and Remus with his elbow, barely containing his laughter. “Oi, look at those two," he whispered, his voice full of amusement.
Peter followed James's gaze, a playful twinkle in his eyes. "Looks like they've entered the realm of dreamland," he chuckled, mimicking Y/N's earlier words.
Remus leaned in, his lips curving into a smirk. "Bet Sirius is dreaming of pranks and Y/N's dreaming of chocolate," he joked, his tone filled with gentle mockery.
James let out a snort of laughter, covering his mouth to stifle the sound. "Well, they make quite the sleeping beauties, don't they?" he said, his voice laced with humor.
"I know what to do," James whispered mischievously, a sly grin spreading across his face. He scrambled up from his spot on the floor, making his way to his bed. Rummaging through his drawer, he finally retrieved a muggle camera.
Remus raised an eyebrow, curiosity gleaming in his eyes. "What's the plan, Prongs?" he asked in a hushed voice.
James let out a quiet chuckle, approaching the sleeping couple with the camera in hand.
He aimed it at them and pressed the button, unaware that the flash was still on.
A blinding flash of light erupted from the camera, illuminating the room. Startled, Sirius's eyes flew open, meeting James's wide-eyed stare.
Instinctively, he pulled Y/N even closer to his chest, shielding her from the intrusive brightness.
Remus couldn't contain his laughter any longer, a hand covering his mouth to muffle the sound. "Nice one, James," he snickered, shaking his head in amusement.
James sheepishly scratched the back of his head, a guilty grin tugging at his lips. "Oops... forgot about the flash," he whispered, trying not to disturb Y/N's peaceful slumber.
Sirius blinked a few times, his eyes adjusting to the sudden brightness. He looked at James with mock annoyance, pretending to shield his eyes. "Way to wake a sleeping beauty, Prongs," he joked, his voice filled with playful sarcasm.
The room filled with a mixture of laughter and whispered apologies as the friends realized the unintended consequence of their impromptu photo session.
Though momentarily disrupted, the tranquility of the dorm room soon settled back in, with Y/N blissfully unaware of the flash-induced interruption.
And so, the night continued with shared laughter and gentle teasing, a testament to the unbreakable bond between these teenage friends.
In the end, it was just another memory to add to the ever-growing collection of their adventures and the countless tales they would retell for years to come.

The music roared, reverberating through the vibrant Gryffindor common room, igniting an infectious energy.
Amidst the cacophony of laughter, conversations, and unadulterated merriment, the lyrics from the muggle music box struggled to reach the ears of those immersed in the revelry.
Sirius, standing tall with a firewhisky in hand, swayed as he humorously addressed his dear friend Remus. "Oh, Remus, my mate, have you laid eyes upon Y/n, my enchanting better half?" He playfully slurred, his words dancing with intoxication.
Remus couldn't help but roll his eyes at his inebriated friend, contrasting Sirius' state with his own sobriety. With an affectionate yet bemused sigh, Remus observed Sirius' drunken demeanor.
"Sorry, Sirius, but I haven't caught a glimpse of your better half anywhere," he chuckled lightly.
Sirius, nodding along in a slightly exaggerated fashion, mumbled, "Ah yes, my other half," his words slurring together as he leaned on Remus for support.
"Well, my lonely mate, I'm sure you'll stumble upon your soulmate soon enough," he teased Remus, unable to resist a playful jab.
As Remus let out another exasperated sigh, he suddenly caught sight of Y/N amidst the lively crowd.
A mischievous grin curled upon his lips as he leaned casually against the wall, crossing his arms. "Found her," he declared, his voice dripping with amusement.
Sirius, his senses temporarily scattered by intoxication, furrowed his brow in confusion and scanned the room frantically, his long, dark locks swaying with each exaggerated movement. "Who?" he slurred, desperately seeking clarity.
Remus maintained his composure, keeping it simple yet effective. He pointed towards the enchanting girl who was engaged in joyful laughter with her friends. "Y/N," he stated matter-of-factly.
Sirius, struck by melodramatic inspiration, gasped dramatically and dramatically placed a hand over his heart, his eyes widening with feigned astonishment.
His gaze followed the direction Remus had indicated, as if beholding a miraculous sight.
Sirius, in a haphazard stumble, made his way toward his girlfriend, casually brushing past an equally inebriated James, who was taken aback by the sight of his friend.
"James!" Sirius gasped dramatically, his hand gripping onto James' shoulders for support amidst his unsteady state.
"Sirius," James responded, matching his friend's gasp and firmly clutching onto Sirius' shoulders, as if mirroring the astonishment that was apparently required in this intoxicated encounter.
As James slurred his words, his eyes darted around, desperately trying to comprehend where his friend, Padfoot, could be headed. "Where are you off to, Padfoot?" he inquired, his drunken haze causing his vision to scan the surroundings in search of answers.
Sirius, lost in a fit of drunken giggles, managed to respond between bouts of laughter. "I'm off to find Y/N," he confessed, his voice laced with mirth and intoxication.
James couldn't help but pout, his own desires surfacing in his intoxicated state. "I wish I could catch a glimpse of Lily," he lamented, his words carrying a touch of longing.
Sirius, overcome with amusement at James' heartfelt remark, burst into laughter. The absurdity of the situation tickled his senses, and he found himself unable to contain his mirth.
Sirius bid a hasty farewell to James as his keen eyes caught a glimpse, from the corner of his vision, of Y/N making her way towards the drink station.
Navigating through the throngs of intoxicated teenagers and clusters of revelers, he forged a path towards his beloved.
With a beaming smile, he called out her name amidst the clamor, "Y/N!" and sealed their reunion with an affectionate yet slightly sloppy kiss.
As Y/N leaned away, she couldn't help but notice the effects of alcohol on Sirius, even though the party had barely begun.
A playful chuckle escaped her lips as she gazed upon her boyfriend's disheveled mop of black hair, finding the sight both endearing and amusing.
Sirius, fueled by his inebriation, couldn't resist the temptation and leaned in once again, planting a series of sloppy kisses upon her glistening lips.
With a blissful expression on his face, he cupped her rosy cheeks with his unsteady hands, relishing in the touch.
As he eventually pulled away, a mischievous smile played on his lips, and he couldn't help but lick them in appreciation. "Cherry flavored," he hummed, savoring the taste of her lip gloss lingering on his own lips.
Y/N, her cheeks blushing, responded with a bashful smile, leaning into the warmth and tenderness of Sirius' hands gently cradling her face.
Y/N couldn't help but smile as she observed her boyfriend, Sirius, fixated on her with wide, unblinking eyes. "What are you doing, Sirius?" she asked, her amusement evident in her voice.
With a cheeky slurred response, Sirius replied, "I'm simply admiring my incredible girlfriend." His intoxicated state only seemed to amplify his penchant for cheesy declarations.
Y/N playfully rolled her eyes, a gesture she had grown accustomed to whenever Sirius indulged in his drunken antics. It was a familiar and endearing part of their dynamic, adding a touch of humor to their relationship.
A warm smile graced Y/N's lips as she leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to the corner of Sirius' mouth.
In response, he let out a contented sigh through his nose, a moment of calm amidst the lively atmosphere.
Teasingly, she remarked, "Shouldn't you be with James?" Her eyes shifted towards the curly-haired boy, who stood atop a table, using his wand to amplify his singing for all to hear.
Sirius couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sight, his hand raking through his disheveled black hair.
He then shrugged playfully, exaggerating a pout for effect. "Are you trying to get rid of me?" he melodramatically exclaimed, pretending to be deeply wounded.
Y/N laughed wholeheartedly, shaking her head at his amusing theatrics, utterly charmed by his antics.
"Maybe..." Y/N playfully dragged out her response, turning away from Sirius to reach for a drink.
In an instant, she felt his dramatic gasp reverberate through her as his arms encircled her waist, and he nestled his head against her neck.
The warm breath escaping his lips sent a delightful shiver down her spine as he pressed his chest against her back.
"Oh, no—please don't abandon me!" Sirius exclaimed with theatrical flair, his laughter blending seamlessly with his exaggerated plea.
The scene was undeniably comical, and the playful dynamics between them only heightened the amusement.
As the night wore on, the once-vibrant party gradually dwindled, leaving behind a peaceful atmosphere within the common room.
The raucous laughter and boisterous conversations subsided, giving way to a serene stillness. Only a handful of individuals found solace in slumber, sprawled comfortably across the room.
Amidst the hushed tranquility, one couple remained, entwined in a drunken embrace.
They sat huddled together, their bodies molded into one another, their breathing synchronized. In this moment of intoxication and intimacy, they found a sense of contentment that transcended the fading revelry around them.

THE DAYS THAT FOLLOWED felt strange and unsettling for the couple, leaving them both yearning for the assurance that their bond remained intact.
The entire school sensed the shifting dynamics of their relationship, aware that they were once regarded as the epitome of an extraordinary couple.
However, ever since Y/N had discovered Remus's secret and their ensuing disagreement, a heavy silence had settled between them, robbing them of their usual intimacy.
They resorted to avoiding each other's presence in the grandeur of the great hall, the once-shared moments of strolling and sitting together now relegated to distant memories. In classes, they deliberately chose separate seats, maintaining an emotional chasm between them.
Only fleeting glances, exchanged when one of them thought the other wasn't looking, bore witness to their lingering affection, a poignant acknowledgment of the love they still harbored amidst the palpable distance.
The impact of the shift was most deeply felt by James, Peter, and Sirius. What used to be days brimming with laughter, mischief, and shared plans now hung heavy with the weight of a brooding Remus and the palpable confusion of his friends.
One day, as the collective patience of James, Sirius, and Peter wore thin, James finally mustered the courage to confront his sullen friend. "Come on, Moony, you have to tell us what happened," he pleaded, his voice tinged with a mix of frustration and genuine concern.
In a show of solidarity, Sirius and Peter nodded in agreement from their respective beds, their eyes reflecting their shared desire to understand and offer solace to the troubled soul that resided within their once vibrant and lively dormitory.
With a heavy groan, Remus reluctantly shifted from his sprawled position on the bed, his body seemingly weighed down by the weight of his emotions. "She knows, Prongs," he responded to James, his voice laced with weariness as he sat up, facing his friend with a deep sigh. His disheveled hair mirrored the chaos within his heart, while his under-eye bags revealed the toll of sleepless nights.
James raised a curious brow, his expression morphing into a furrowed concern as he attempted to piece together the puzzle of Remus's cryptic words. However, the realization dawned upon him, washing over his features like a wave crashing against the shore.
In the midst of the charged atmosphere, Sirius abruptly shot up from his own bed, his eyes widening in a mixture of shock and comprehension, his intense gaze locked onto Remus's weary brown eyes. "About your... monthly problem—about you being a werewolf?" Sirius tentatively inquired, his voice trembling with empathy, an unspoken understanding rippling between them.
Sirius muttered a soft expletive under his breath, his voice barely audible as he processed the gravity of the situation. ‘Shit’
Meanwhile, Peter sat perched on his bed, his small voice breaking through the heavy silence as he nervously inquired, clutching a cupcake in his trembling hand, "How did she react?"
James nodded understandingly, his eyes filled with curiosity as he turned his gaze towards Remus, silently urging him to share the aftermath of their shattered connection.
Remus let out an awkward chuckle, his hand absently rubbing the back of his neck, a gesture of unease.
"I didn't give her much time to react... I... I kind of panicked and just told her to leave," Remus confessed, his voice carrying a mix of regret and vulnerability. The words hung in the air, leaving a profound sense of loss in their wake.
Sirius sharply inhaled, a pained hiss escaping his lips, mingled with a wistful chuckle at his friend's predicament.
"Damn it, Moony," he murmured, the words laced with equal parts sympathy and amusement, a testament to the complex emotions swirling within the tight-knit circle of friends.
"I didn't even have a chance to react—my mind was spinning at a thousand miles an hour!" Remus defended himself, a hint of laughter lacing his words, attempting to diffuse the lingering tension.
As the friends playfully teased one another, the atmosphere gradually eased, momentarily relieving the weight of their shared turmoil.
"You'll have to talk to her, mate. I can't bear witnessing those lovesick and pouty expressions you both exchange," James teased, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes as Sirius playfully pushed him in response.
"Oh, please! Like you don't make those same looks at your 'precious lily flower'," Sirius retorted, mocking a high-pitched voice with a hearty laugh.
Despite the playful banter, an undercurrent of affection and understanding ran deep within their words, acknowledging the complex emotions that lay beneath the surface.
"Actually, I was hoping you guys could give me some space so I could invite her over to talk," Remus interjected, his voice cutting through the playful banter, revealing his earnest desire for a private conversation.
Sirius feigned astonishment, his eyes widening dramatically as he dramatically brought a hand to his chest, pretending to be overwhelmed.
"You want to kick us out?!" he gasped dramatically, his tone laden with exaggerated humor, though an undertone of understanding danced within his jest.
˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
AND SO, Remus and Y/N found themselves on opposite ends of the bed, an emotional chasm separating them.
Both ached to bridge the divide, to embrace and seek solace in each other's touch, their longing palpable after days of silent distance.
Suppressing the overwhelming urge to reach out, they fought against the yearning that surged within them, yearning to mend what was broken.
Yet, the air between them crackled with unspoken words and unshared emotions, their eyes drifting away, unable to hold the intense gaze that would only amplify their longing.
With a heavy heart, Remus mustered the courage to steal a glance in her direction, his gaze softening with a melancholic twinkle as he observed her, her eyes fixed on a distant horizon, lost in her own thoughts.
The depths of his sadness reflected in his eyes, mirroring the profound ache that coursed through their untangled souls.
Sensing his unwavering gaze upon her, she tentatively shifted her position on the bed, mustering the strength to meet his earnest brown eyes.
Her lips formed a gentle pursed expression as she prepared to speak, but before she could utter a single word, Remus beat her to it, his voice trembling with remorse.
"I'm sorry... I truly am sorry for how I lashed out," he confessed, his words weighed down by the burden of regret. Nervously, he twirled a small thread between his fingers, a telltale sign of his inner turmoil.
"I was just... scared," Remus whispered, his voice barely above a breath, as if afraid the mere act of voicing his fears would make them all the more real.
"I was terrified that you would leave me, that you would see me as nothing but a monster," he admitted, the vulnerability in his words echoing the depth of his apprehension and longing for acceptance.
As Remus poured out his heart, she remained motionless, her hands tightly clenched at her side, aching with the urge to reach out and touch him, to offer reassurance through the warmth of her touch.
"I don't see you as a monster, Remus," she interjected, her voice filled with unwavering sincerity.
"To me, you're still the same dorky boyfriend who meticulously folds his socks and sometimes wears his reading glasses backwards when you're tired. You're the one who wrinkles his nose at the mere mention of white chocolate," she rambled, a tender smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
Her words spilled forth, driven by an overwhelming need to convey the depth of her love and acceptance.
She wanted him to understand that her affection remained steadfast, untarnished by the transformative nature of his monthly struggles. He was not defined by those moments; he was the person she cherished, flaws and all.
Remus's brows furrowed, his heart melting as warmth coursed through his entire being, ignited by her heartfelt ramblings.
In that moment, he realized he hadn't been aware of half the endearing quirks she had just described, yet his heart swelled with gratitude that she saw and cherished them all. She had always known him, truly known him.
With puppy-like eyes filled with a mix of longing and vulnerability, Remus gazed at her, yearning to close the distance between them.
His hands trembled with an undeniable urge to reach out and hold her, to feel the connection that had been strained but not broken.
Moving with caution, he inched closer, searching for any sign of discomfort in her eyes.
When he found none, a flicker of hope danced within him, urging him onward. Without hesitation, he pulled her into an embrace, his fingers gripping her waist with a mixture of urgency and tenderness, as if he were afraid to let go.
In that moment, their intertwined embrace held the weight of unspoken words and a profound love that transcended words alone.
As she melted into the embrace, a contented sigh escaped her lips, surrendering herself to Remus's guiding touch that drew her closer to him, enveloping her in his protective embrace.
His lips brushed against her forehead in a gentle caress, conveying tenderness and affection.
Slowly, he trailed kisses to her nose, cheeks, and chin, each touch igniting a spark within her soul.
But before their lips finally met, he graced her with a breathtaking smile, radiating warmth and love. It was a smile that spoke volumes, assuring her of his unwavering devotion and the depth of his feelings.
She released a blissful sigh that melted into the lingering kiss, savoring the depth of their connection.
With a gentle chuckle escaping her lips, she pulled away slightly, a soft laughter dancing in her eyes as she watched him, his closed eyes yearning for the touch of her lips.
Taking his hand in hers, she lovingly twiddled her fingers with his, intertwining their warmth as she nestled her head beneath his chin, finding solace in his embrace.
Their breaths melded into a tranquil rhythm, harmonizing in perfect unison. In the serenity of the moment, they laughed together, their laughter merging with the gentle cadence of their heartbeats and breaths.
Drifting into a peaceful slumber, they found solace in each other's presence, their shared connection becoming the lullaby that carried them into the realm of dreams.
Moments later, their friends, James, Peter, and Sirius, entered the room, their laughter tapering off as they beheld the sight of the peacefully slumbering couple. A tender silence enveloped the air, as if a sacred moment had been captured.
Unable to resist their strong bond, the trio approached the bed with care, their hearts filled with an unspoken desire to be close to their friends.
In a gentle and deliberate manner, they joined the couple, carefully arranging themselves in a cozy cuddle pile, their warmth and affection mingling in the shared embrace.
In the comfort of that intimate gathering, an unbreakable sense of camaraderie and love permeated the room.
They found solace in each other's presence, creating a haven of support and companionship, a testament to the enduring strength of their friendship.
As sleep gently claimed them, they drifted into dreams, wrapped in the embrace of both friendship and love.

REMUS LUPIN WAS Positively freaking out, his hair a mess as he sat in his bed, frantically mumbling to himself as he gripped his hair. James and Sirius, who had skipped there classes stared at their friend, not wanting to speak again.
The last time they had said something to Moony when he did this, they ended up with no hair. How moony did that spell without his wand was above them, they didn’t even know he could do wand-less magic up till that point.
So they didn’t push on there friend’s erratic behavior, they just sat there. They knew Remus sought comfort of someone just being there, they didn’t have to talk to him or even acknowledge him.
˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚*
REMUS LUPIN stood frozen to the ground, staring with wide eyes at his girlfriend who held a book in her hands, her eyes scanning over his meticulously annotated notes on lycanthropy.
She didn't know he was standing behind her, her mouth muttering to herself. Remus stayed frozen, his mind racing with a whirlwind of emotions. He felt anger, sadness, fear, and anxiety all at once. She wasn't supposed to know; she couldn't know.
Her hands stilled when she noticed the slight shift in the air. Turning around, she was met with the brown eyes of Remus Lupin, swirling with a storm of emotions.
The look of shock on her face mirrored the turmoil within him.
Her own eyes swirled with emotions, her hands barely gripping onto the book as she looked at the sandy haired boy who gripped so hard to his sweater that his knuckles were turning white.
"Remus?" she whispered, her voice filled with a mix of confusion, anger, and guilt. She didn't know what to think. She felt angry at him for not telling her, but at the same time, she couldn't help but feel guilty for her own reaction. She understood the weight of his burden and the struggles he must have faced every month.
Remus continued to stare, his eyes darting between the book and her, his face glistening with a light sheen of sweat. His posture remained rigid, his back straight, as if bracing for the fallout from his secret being exposed. The look of betrayal on her face only deepened her own sense of guilt.
"Y/N," Remus's voice cracked, the vulnerability in his tone palpable. He had always feared this moment, the moment when the person he loved would discover the truth about him. "I... I'm sorry. I never wanted you to find out like this."
Her eyebrows furrowed, torn between her emotions. She wanted to hold onto her anger, but seeing him standing there, vulnerable and regretful, made it difficult to maintain that facade. A pang of empathy shot through her heart, as she realized the pain he must have endured to keep this secret.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Her voice cracked, the anger and sadness evident in her tone. Remus flinched, the weight of her emotions pressing down on him like a heavy burden. He could feel the sharp sting of her disappointment.
Her hand moved to set the book down on the nearby table, and the loud slam jolted through the air, causing Remus to flinch instinctively. Or perhaps it was his heightened senses, a reminder of the reality he had tried so desperately to hide.
Remus took a step back, his voice trembling with regret. "Y/N, I... I wanted to protect you. I was afraid of what you would think, how you would react. I didn't want to burden you with the knowledge of my condition."
Her eyes bore into his, a mix of frustration and hurt reflected in them. "Protect me? Remus, we're supposed to be partners, sharing our lives, our joys, and our struggles. By keeping this from me, you denied me the chance to truly understand and support you."
Remus felt a sting of anger flash within him, and he begged his mind not to lash out, but it seemed to have a mind of its own. "Why are you the one disappointed?" he blurted out, frustration lacing his words. "If anything, you should be grateful that I kept you from the monster I am."
As the words left his mouth, Remus immediately regretted them. He could see the hurt and shock etched across her face, her eyes widening in disbelief. His anger quickly turned into guilt, realizing the depth of his mistake.
Pursing her lips she held back the sting in her throat, begging her to cry. She nodded silently, “I’m sorry you felt the need to keep this from me Remus.” She spoke so softly Remus had to strain his ears to hear it.
Remus's heart sank as he saw her fighting back tears, his words having wounded her deeply. The guilt consumed him, and he desperately tried to find a way to take back what he had said. But the anger continued to bubble up inside him, a defense mechanism to shield himself from the pain he had caused.
“Maybe i didn’t tell you because you would just leave me!” He growled, trying to keep the tears from escaping
Remus's words hung heavily in the air, their sharpness cutting through the fragile silence. The pain in her eyes deepened.
Y/N nodded, her eyes welling up with tears that begged to be released. Remus gazed at her, his brows knit together in a troubled expression, his trembling lip betraying the profound sadness within him, while his eyes flickered with a turbulent mix of anger and frustration.
"Why were you invading my personal space?" he questioned, his voice tinged with defensiveness, hastily gathering the scattered papers and hurriedly shoving them back into the pages of the oversized book.
"Remus, why didn't you trust me enough to share this with me? Keeping something like this from your own girlfriend!" Her voice quivered with a mix of disappointment and hurt as she raised her voice, her eyes welling up with tears, fixated on him pacing anxiously across the room.
In the midst of the emotional storm raging inside him, Remus desperately clutched at his own hair, his fingers knotted in frustration and anguish, as a whirlwind of conflicting emotions tore through his being.
"Please, just go," Remus pleaded, his voice shattering into fragments, as he sank onto the bed, causing it to creak in the haunting stillness that enveloped the room. She stood there, a mix of confusion and concern etched across her face, desperately clinging to the remnants of their unraveling connection.
"Please, don't push me away, Remus. Not again," she implored, her voice quivering with a delicate blend of heartache and fear, a plea laced with the tender vulnerability of a love teetering on the precipice of loss.
"Y/N," Remus began, the syllables escaping his lips in tandem with her own whispered utterance of his name, their voices overlapping in a poignant moment of shared longing and uncertainty.
"Remus," her voice fractured, betraying the raw emotion that simmered beneath the surface, just as he began to utter a word that danced on his lips in synchrony with her own plea. "Please... I beg of you, go. Just for now," He managed to utter, His voice carrying a profound ache that echoed through the room.
In perfect unison, Remus echoed her words, his voice tinged with a mixture of anguish and resignation, as he fought to suppress the tears threatening to cascade down his face. He nestled his elbows upon his knees, surrendering to the weight of his sorrow, and buried his face in his trembling hands, seeking solace within the shelter of his own vulnerability.
With a heavy nod, she reluctantly pivoted on her heels, stealing one final, heart-wrenching glance at the desolate figure before her. The boy, once brimming with life, now stood in poignant despair, his scarred hands clenching at his tousled, sandy brown hair, his tall frame quivering under the weight of his emotions.
As she took her leave, a faint whisper escaped her lips, a delicate utterance barely audible to Remus's shattered soul. "I love you, and I always will," she murmured, the words carrying a bittersweet blend of affection and sorrow, etching themselves upon the air as an everlasting testament to the love she had offered, even in the face of their heartbreaking separation.
The heavy burden of a secret had split them off. Now let’s hope it wouldn’t keep them away from eachother.

YOUR HANDS WERE BUSY, occupied with the stick substance of dough in your hands as you kneaded it over and over onto the flower covered table.
The lighting was shifted bright against your eyes, the reflecting of yourself and your boyfriends showing perfectly through Karl’s laptop. The chat spammed random things, a bit slow due to stream delay.
Karl huffed beside you, listening to Quackity scream on about how he was the gordon Ramsay of the kitchen and to “Hurry up you muppets”
Karl leaned his messy face on your black hoodie, something you probably shouldn’t have worn due to how much flour and mixtures of different things you were using.
Karl’s long brown hair tickled your neck as he giggled about something, drawing a picture of a dick into the flower like a prepubescent boy.
Quackity gasped at the drawing, looking to the camera like he was in an episode of the office
You laughed, smudging the picture until it looked like squidward. Karl giggled, his hand resting on yours as quackity grabbed something from the fridge.
“Put this is in your bowl.” He giggled- making his voice go higher and obnoxious for the stream as he held out the white can of a monster.
You raised your brow, glancing at the monster before looking towards Karl, who held a look of offense on his face. “Isn’t that Karl’s last can?” You asked, trying not to giggle at the obnoxious pout that graced Karl’s face.
Quackity pretending to think- placed his flour covered hand to his chin, rubbing it like there was more than smooth skin underneath. “Mhm, I don’t care!” Quackity giggled, his other hand going to fix his beanie that had been slowly slipping.
Karl faked a gasp, tugging on his apron while yelling something inaudible from the amount of noise that filled the room.
Karl Kissed your cheek quickly, giggling at the yell that Quackity yelled out when he spotted it. “Now he’s trying to steal the chef’s girlfriend! Chat, did you see that?!” He yelled, a voice so high pitched it made your ears ring slightly.
You smiled, kissing Quackitys cheek and watching as he paused- face going slightly red.
You turned around, facing Karl with a fake seriousness. “Now! Bake the pancakes you muppet!”

♫ ― ♫
THE MUSIC FILLED THE Air of the dimly lit bar, the sound of footsteps and talking barely registered in the young couples mind, there hands on each other as the stared into each-other’s eyes.
Real hasta la muerte, ¿oí'te, bebé? Convertimo' el hotel en un putero
There moments were lithe and graceful, gliding across the small party voted dance floor. Your eyes tracked the dark brown ones infront of you, counting the small beauty marks that littered his face.
His long dark hair- like always- was covered with a clean washed cap that seemed to match his suit.
Veinticuatro hora' no dan pa' lo que quiero. Baby, si tú fuera' la muerte, yo me muero, oh, oh. La noche grita sexo, oh, oh, oh
You danced, movements fluid and effortless. His undulating to the rhythm as her hands danced from his shoulders to his neck, playing with the king and soft dark hair.
His eyes scrunched up as a smile rose on his face, a rose blush coating his beautiful skin as he moved along with her.
His hands at her hips as he guided her along, feeling the movements of her own body as he danced with the same quiet intensity. His body moving perfectly with you.
Your hands glided with each strand of hair, moving your hips along.
You moved together as one, body’s moving as if they were floating. Though- as much as you could hope. You couldn’t stay serious.
Your heart bubbles as you let out a laugh- leaning your head onto the man’s shoulder while sucking in a breath.
Si el reloj nos diera más tiempo. Baby, e' que tú ere' mía, lo que te haría, eh-eh. Si el reloj nos diera más tiempo (Brr)
Quackity laughed with you, his body heaving as he tried to keep his own knees from collapsing. You both knew it was a struggle to keep serious, but you both loved it that way.
Quackity smiled as he began to lead you from he dance floor, taking you to the slightly crowded bar.
He watched your movements as you talked to a freind. His soft eyes gazing at your face, taking in every small mark- ranging from scars to slight pimples or blemishes.
He loved it, he loved the way you for everything you had to offer. He could only hope he could offer the same amount of love as you deserve.
The music had calmed, a more quiet song quickly overcoming the atmosphere. As they dipped there drinks and chatted with friends, the dark haired male couldn’t help but cherish the love of his life.
He knew the girl he was sitting across from was someone he wanted to spin his life with. They always say don’t rush love, he would wait till the earth ended if he had to.
Your heart swelled when your eyes met the dark ones of your boyfriend. The love that swirled in them as the light shined to them made your body shiver with the overwhelming happiness.
And as the night went on you danced and danced, song after song. Feeling like you to were the only people in the world, nothing else mattered as the world muted around you.
