ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ꜰɪᴠᴇ: ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴇᴀʀᴄʜ
The carriage ride was unexpected for [Name] and she remains on her toes. The search for Armin couldn't have gone any easier. Now she has trouble with showing familial love towards her little brother because she doesn't want to be plagued by the Attack Titan's memories.
Tumblr media
“You were drunk last night.”
[Name] glanced at the man across from her who stated the obvious. His arms were crossed over his chest and the side of his right ankle was resting on his left knee. His eyes were locked onto hers for the fleeting second she gazed at him.
Then her eyes looked out onto the roads. “Yeah, the headache reminds me I was.” It killed her that this headache was born from the drinking, but lasted because of her burdens.
A minute passed then another one did. She knew he was waiting for her to speak to him about her secret which really should have stayed one. [Name] mulled over her words and couldn’t find the correct ones. She had done enough to push him away.
After five minutes had passed, she came up with something relatively satisfactory.
“Levi, listen,” [Name] breathed out and crossed her arms over her chest, “I believe I owe you an apology.” She settled her hands in her lap and looked at him. If she said this with no eye contact he wouldn’t take her seriously.
“I apologize for springing my secret on you out of nowhere. It was selfish of me to put that burden on you. Obviously I was drinking and tormented by grief. I had this…ability for years now and I just wanted to let someone know - someone that I trusted with my life to know what I can do.”
His eyes remained in their usual glare. Then he sighed and they relaxed. [Name] noticed the bags under his eyes and he said, “I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking about you. What you said and what you showed me. I told Erwin about it.”
“You what?” She asked, her eyes looking at him with betrayal. Her body screamed at her to run away and get out of the carriage. Yet her mind told her that she couldn’t do that because she would endanger her siblings. “Why would you- Levi, I told you that in confidence,” She seethed, beyond pissed that he told their commanding officer.
“You told me at a bar, that’s not a place to share secrets.” He bit back, matching her level of anger. He shifted in his seat and put his other foot back on the floor reeling back his emotions. He leaned over with his arms resting on his knees.
Levi looked at her and asked with the tone of mistrust,  “What would you have me do? Keep this a secret until someone finds out you can shift into one of them?”
“Them?” She enunciated, taken back by his tone. This conversation, this secret, was going to be the undoing of the relationship between them if it kept going in this direction of hostility. [Name] frowned at him and spat back, “You’re acting like I’m the enemy. Like I’m going to suddenly transform and start tearing down the walls that protect us.”
Levi looked away from her and sat back into his seat. His arms went back to cross over his chest and he stayed silent, thinking about her words. No, she was not his enemy. If anything, [Name] happened to be one of his friends and if not that, more than a friend. “I’ve known you for years, [Name],” He started and gazed away from the floor to see the irritation on her face, “I know you are not the enemy, but withholding important information like this can endanger you; endanger your siblings.”
“I’m done talking about this,” She curtly responded and resorted to ignoring his demanding presence. Levi could only sigh and tell her a bit more of his side. He wanted her to understand that he did this with good intentions.
“Erwin is more intrigued than upset. Guys like him don’t stop moving forward, one day it’ll get him killed,” Levi said clearly to her, but it did nothing to sway her. He tried again, “He wants to talk with you. Discuss more about your titan form and if you know who the others are. What you know about the outside world.”
“I don’t know anything about the outside world.” She replied sharply.
“Playing dumb now?” Levi questioned then he rolled his eyes, “You knew who they were, they scared you enough to get you drunk and speak to me about your ability. I want you to trust me, I want us to stay…” He glanced at her wearily and struggled to confess.
[Name] could physically feel his inner turmoil. It bothered her that the usually blunt man struggled to say whatever he wanted to say. This only made her all the more irritated and impatient, “Spit it out, Levi.”
He scoffed and grumbled, “Giving me attitude while I’m trying to express my feelings is a shitty start for confessing.” Levi didn’t give her enough time to react, but he did see her eyes widen up. His words flowing out of his mouth, “Since the start of my enlistment, you caught my attention to the point where Furlan and Isabel wouldn’t leave me alone. And that day, despite me being led into a trap, you offered friendship. I’m not the easiest person to get along with and you have always been stubborn doing your best to get yourself on my good side. I’m thankful that you give my life some normalcy. I enjoy our time drinking tea and training with one another.
“I enjoy my life with you in it. So I don’t want you to think that what you are and what I do will ever pull us apart from one another. Yes, finding out you can turn into a titan is shitty, but that doesn’t change who you are to me. It shouldn’t change the relationship we have with one another. Do you understand?”
[Name]’s anger turned into bewilderment. She didn’t know if Levi’s confession was real. So she asked bluntly, “Are you asking me as my commanding officer or-”
“Take this seriously, will you?” He asked, settling a glare on the woman.
She threw her hands up in the air and said, “What? I am, it’s just that that is very uncharacteristic of you! Levi, you gave me a heartfelt confession. One that I wasn’t expecting until I was on my deathbed or something. I would have settled for ‘You got a shitty personality, but I like you’ kind of confession-”
“Next time, I won’t try so hard,” He crossed his arms over his chest and grumbled underneath his breath.
She shook her head, a small chuckle leaving her lips, “But what you said now, it makes me really happy. I thought I lost you yesterday. I thought I ruined everything I built with you. Yet here you are, confessing to me after I told you what I am. Anyways what I’m trying to say is I don’t want us separating either. I would love for our relationship to keep growing.”
“Good,” He said curtly, “because I would have bothered you like you did to me long ago.”
“I wasn’t that annoying,” She mumbled with a flustered face then she straightened up, “Also don’t think that just because you confessed doesn’t mean I’m still not pissed about you telling Erwin. Now I know he’s going to interrogate me with those beautiful eyes of his.”
“Beautiful?” Levi asked, a hint of jealousy in his tone.
“Oh please,” [Name] waved him off, “His don’t compare to the way yours shine when you look at me. I fell head over heels for you when we started to bond. It’s a wonder that you even confessed after everything. I was sure that I would have to be the one to say it first.”
“Well after everything that you’ve been through,” Levi said,  “I couldn’t find a perfect time to talk to you.”
Right. The carriage pulled to a sudden stop and a shout alerted them, “This is as far as I go.”
[Name] was the first one to hop out of the carriage and let the man know that they would be back as quickly as possible. She didn’t know how long it would take to find Armin and his grandfather. Especially since there were so many refugees.
Once they were inside, chatter erupted from disagreements to neediness. She knew her hometown had many people, but to force them in such a crowded area already made her feel suffocated.
“So what does the brat look like?” Levi asked as he walked by [Name]’s side.
She cleared her throat and ignored the looks of the people that lost their homes. It only made her want to offer help she couldn't give them. “Armin is a bit smaller than Eren and a complete opposite of him. He has blonde hair with blue eyes. He wouldn’t be a kid that talks to strangers, mostly keeping to himself. Picture a kid that’s easy to bully. He’s not a fighter.”
“Well this was easy,” Levi commented lightly and he stopped walking which made her pause in her trek. She looked around and saw two MPs bullying a child. That child being Armin who had two loaves of bread in his arms. He tried his best not to get the bread dirtied and took all the hits the MPs gave him.
“Slimy bastards,” [Name] moved past Levi and shouted at the MPs, “Hey, back the hell away from him!”
Armin opened up his eyes to see a fist just inches away from his face. Then they fluttered over to a woman wearing casual clothing and fire was present in her eyes. “[N-Name]?” Armin asked, stumped that he was seeing his best friend’s sister standing up for him. The adults that made a circle around the scene didn’t bother to step up for him, so it was a miracle that she popped up when he needed someone the most.
“Oh great,” The MP pulled his fist away from Armin and rolled his eyes at [Name], “look what the cat dragged out. The woman who holds herself up high because she gave these other sewer rats time to live. You could have done us all a favor by letting some more die, you know?”
Armin could see the way [Name] flared up, the way her fingernails dug into her palms. She took a deep breath in and said sarcastically, “Then why don’t you offer yourself up? Save me the headache and keep your mouth shut.”
She bumped her shoulder into his as she made her way to the blonde boy on the floor. Her hands touched his elbows and she picked him up easily asking him, “Armin, are you okay? Where is your grandfather?”
“I-I,” Armin looked into her eyes full of concern, “I’m fine. My grandfather is over there.” He pointed in the general direction and she nodded with a small smile.
“Alright then, let’s go see how he is doing,” She turned his body around to the way he pointed and gave him a soft push to move him forward. Armin had no idea what she had in mind or what she wanted from his grandfather. But he knew it was good.
This was [Name] after all.
……
“I’m so tired of waiting! When is she coming back?” Eren shouted, his head leaning back on the kitchen chair. It’s been hours already, [Name] should have come back with Armin and his grandfather. Unless, they both didn’t make it out.
“They made it,” Mikasa said out of the blue, staring hard at him. She knew exactly what he was thinking. It kind of weirded him out.
“I know that,” He lied and crossed his arms over his chest, “but it shouldn’t take this long.”
“Eh, it might be a whole day of searching, Eren,” The weird scientist spoke up playing around with her drink, “you do realize that a lot of people have lost their homes due to this attack. They have to look for a needle in the haystack to put it into simpler terms. Now are you guys ready to hear more about the titans?”
The door opened up saving the kids from Hange’s rant and [Name] walked in with a smile on her face. Her eyes pointed downward at the child that walked in front of her, “Please make yourself at home.” The gentleness in her voice reminded Eren of their mother. It could bring tears into his eyes if he focused more on it.
“Eren! Mikasa! You guys made it out!” A childish smile planted itself onto Armin’s face as he ran over to his friends.
“You guys go show Armin the backyard while I help Mr. Arlert get familiar with the house,” Eren heard his sister call out while she showed Armin’s grandfather around. He gestured for Armin to follow him to the backyard while the excited boy did so. The backyard had an apple tree and a small garden to which his sister took care of religiously it seemed.
“Oh wow, she has an apple tree?” Armin shouted and walked up to it. His curious eyes moved from the leaves to the fruit.
Eren sat by the base of it and sighed, “Yeah, you should taste the apple juice at the place she took us to.”
Armin saw the far away look on his best friend’s face and he crouched down to him. The blonde boy wasn’t dumb and he noticed that Eren’s mom wasn’t around. “Eren,” He knew the question shouldn’t be asked either, “do…do you think I could try some too?”
Eren looked up and nodded his head, “Yeah, yeah you can.”
“I’m not sure how to take all this in,” Mr. Arlert said, looking around his room. Then he brought his tired eyes back to the woman providing him and his grandson a place to stay indefinitely.
[Name] cleared her throat and said, “Well, you have a long time to process it all. You should get some rest, Mr. Arlert. I will look after the kids for now. I will come get you when dinner is ready.” She closed the door behind her and walked towards the kitchen where everyone was at. Hange talked their ears off about titans and Levi leaned against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest.
She watched him carefully.
Despite the new confession and sort of make up between them, she stayed alert. [Name] looked away from him and began to look at the floor. A faraway look in her eyes as she tried to think of what was going to happen next.
She hated the fact that the warriors kept her on the edge. They destroyed Shiganshina, but they haven’t killed anybody else. The warrior program consisted of children meaning that they truly didn’t have a plan. So far the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan made their appearance.
Eren walked back into the house with a smile on his face.
They wanted him. No, not him, but the power of the founding titan. The warriors need to find the coordinate to save their home, but also to keep the Eldians in check. Her mentor’s words echoed in her head, ‘Their perception of reality is twisted. Don’t let it consume you.’
“[Name]!” Eren ran over to her ready to jump into her welcoming arms, but she snapped back into reality and held her hands out. But they weren’t welcoming. She held her hands out to stop him from approaching her, “S-stop!”
Her voice wavered, but her voice pierced his ears and his body immediately froze. Eren couldn’t tell if he did that on his own out of fear. He looked at her with a bit of hurt in his eyes. She was rejecting him. Why did she not want to hug him? He needed to know why, “Did I do something wrong?”
Levi pushed himself off the wall and watched the outburst with concern. Everyone’s eyes were on the siblings, the older one looking at her brother in fear and him looking back at her with pain.
[Name] pulled her hands back with wide eyes. She commanded her brother. She didn’t know her voice could work on him. She swallowed thickly and touched her forehead which began to pulse in pain. “I’m sorry, Eren.” She winced out and straightened out her posture.
“You did nothing wrong,” She looked at him between her fingers and sighed. There was nothing she could say to excuse her behavior towards him. But she didn’t want to make contact with him. She didn’t want to relive memories of the past. Ones that plagued her mind all the damn time.
“I..”
“Her body is in pain right now.”
[Name] looked over at Levi and listened to his words. He stood there lying to her brother for her sake and for Eren’s.
“Her body hasn’t recovered from all the fighting she did the day of The Fall. And you’re too heavy for her to carry right now.”
“O-oh…” Eren said with a dejected posture, his eyes casting down to the floor in shame. Then he looked up at his sister, apologizing, “Sorry, I didn’t know your body was sore. Is there…is there anything you need help with?”
The feeling of surprise washed over her. Eren, a stubborn boy at heart, apologized to her instead of asking her why she didn’t tell him. He also asked if she needed help with anything. Did the argument with their mother change his attitude? The guilt from the argument must have really bothered him. He didn’t give their mother a proper goodbye. They couldn’t hug each other.
[Name] walked over to Eren and kneeled down in front of him. Her eyes staring into his turquoise ones. Then she pulled him into a tight hug, she could feel him hesitating to hug her back. “I’m sorry, I forgot that I told you to lay it all on me.”
A flash of her mentor’s face popped up and the gentle smile he gave her.
“No matter what pain I’m going through, you can always give me a hug. The same will go for you, right? You’ll tell me when things get too heavy for you? You’ll lean on me for help from now to always.” She pulled him back and looked into his eyes, her hands gripping onto his shoulders. “When you become a Scout, you can ask me all the questions. Tell me about all the new friends you make. Most importantly, you have to tell me if you feel any…change in your life.”
She whispered all of this to him. To convey the urgency to his little mind. He was never going to actually transform into a titan just by hurting himself. Eren would have to be in some crazy situation in order to transform and she wasn't going to tell Levi that he had the ability to transform.
“Promise me, Eren,” [Name] rested her forehead on his, “you’ll do anything to survive in this shitty world.”
Your mentor showed the serum in the needle, his words sweet and loving.
“I promise,” Eren breathed out.

This is a small preview to a future series. This will be an AOT story in a "modern-era" with supernatural creatures. Mainly vampires! This will be a Male!Reader x AOT characters, but mainly with Mikasa/Annie. Haven't really chose who will be the one, but those two will be the main ones.
MC will be a Yan!MC, not so much abuse will be involved!! Not that many dark themes will be added regarding that. He's just crazy bc he lost his first mate so.....yee.
It’s said that the night is terrifying in every possible way. That it would only take a person to imagine what was lying in the dark.
“Levi, come here.”
A black haired male, well into his early 30s, looked away from the moon shining through the ceiling glass window. His silver blue eyes dragged downward and onto a male sitting on a black chair illuminated by the blue moonlight. The voice belonged to him and Levi walked over to the man sitting at the desk, seeing the hungry red eyes of his superior.
“Bring me anyone from Nostalgia,” The man with red eyes ordered, his fangs peeking out every syllable he spoke. The man’s hand was placed under his chin holding up his terribly weakening body. His superior had been suffering for the past weeks because of the lack of sufficient blood he needed.
In response, Levi sighed with a roll of his eyes and said, “Their blood is tainted and you want to drink from them? I think it’s a shitty idea for you to do that, so just drink from me.” Levi offered his arm out and in his other hand appeared a dagger with a black hilt and gold trimming. He saw the dangerous flash of the bright red eyes of his superior and he brought the blade to his wrist. He pointed the tip in and before he could draw a line, he was stopped with an order.
“Freeze,” The commanding voice said and Levi stopped in his tracks. The order was so strong even when his superior was lacking the blood to keep him powerful. “Levi, you cannot be the one I bond with. You are my greatest friend and I cannot drag you to Hell with me. I will only drink from those beneath me.”
Levi gritted his teeth and released himself from the commandment with a groan. He took a deep breath in and huffed out, “You’re going to die if you don’t drink from a hybrid or a pureblood. If Freida didn’t stray away-”
“Freida was naive!” The man shouted in anger, standing up from his chair and slamming his fist onto the desk. It broke in half under his strength and his papers went flying. “She was my mate! And she was killed because she didn’t listen to me! That stupid brat she spent time with, her foolish father got Frieda killed!”
Levi looked down at the floor, ignoring the heated gaze from his superior. Bringing up Frieda was poor taste, but it was needed.
“[Name] as your greatest friend,” Levi started his sentence, clenching the dagger in his hand tightly, “I cannot watch you like this. I will find you another mate, one that will listen to you. You need better blood, one that will give you strength. If you succumb to thirst, they will come for you next.”
[Name] looked down at his broken desk and relaxed his hand, a large splinter had made its way into his palm. His blood slowly oozed from the wound he created. Then his red eyes looked up to see Levi turned away with his hand covering his nose. [Name] walked over to his cupboard and took a small glass out. He set it down on the counter and pulled the splinter out with ease, not even wincing from the pain.
“It’ll be a waste, Levi,” [Name] said softly, flicking the splinter off to the side. His wounded hand hovered over the glass and he formed a fist making the blood flow faster down into the cup. Then he focused on healing his wound, watching as it closed up not a trace of a scar.
[Name] raised the half full cup and swirled the bright red blood of his around. He watched the slight glitter it gave off and smiled. His blood was still pure despite him drinking from humans. “You have served me well, so let me serve you just this once,” [Name] spoke as he walked to Levi who gave him a glare of resentment.
“No,” Levi scowled and kept his nose covered, “I will not drink your blood.”
“Are you afraid, Levi?” [Name] asked with concern, the glass still held out to the black haired male. He was standing before Levi, the hybrid ignoring his gaze and [Name] smacked his lips. His anger getting the best of him, “Fine then, I'll force that human I have held in the dungeons to drink my blood. Maybe he’ll be more intrigued by my offer than you. Or I’ll ask that crazy scientist to have a taste. Both those humans are prisoners to the truth, they would want to see what happens, don’t you think?”
Levi hardened his gaze and [Name] could hear the beating heart of the shorter male. A dangerous glint flittered in his eyes and [Name] knew Levi was not going to watch another human die from drinking royalty’s blood. So Levi held his hand out and [Name] smirked with deviousness, “And he succumbs to the Devil.”

“I’m still here, don’t worry.”
A ghostly hand caressed the hood of his cloak, her faint touch making him crave more of her.
“This job is wearing you down, my love. I think it’s time you come back home to me.”
He could hear the caring in her tone, he could tell she loved him dearly.
“Just don’t forget about me. Who knows what’ll happen to me if they come for me to get to you. I can tell they’re not done with Wisteria yet and I want you to know that I appreciate all that you did for me to get me out. Must not be easy doing these missions without me.”
He needed her to keep talking. This conversation, he remembers it. He’s starting to remember her and a little bit of what he used to be.
“What am I saying? It’s hard living in the shadows, hiding the truth away from our employers. Do you still have your wedding ring? You were smart to say that we should wear it on our right hand instead of the traditional left. Truth be told, I wear mine on the left.”
She laughed.
“We vowed to keep each other safe. And this mission that you’re going to take on, I have a feeling it’s not going to end in your favor. Just my radar going off. So be safe, —---”
No, what did she call him? Could it be his name? Say more, say anything!
“Again, be safe. Phoenix and I await your return. Oh yeah, I have a surprise for you. I just hope you don’t freak out as much as I did.”
Omen woke up from his slumber and a ball of yarn toppled from his lap when he sprung up from the chair. Quickly the table to his right flipped over when he let his anger out for not getting more information. He looked to the source of sound that woke him up and standing there with his hands up, Phoenix said, “Yo, I apologize for interrupting your sleep, but they’re ready to leave.”
Omen looked at the mess he made and left it to be someone else’s job to clean it up. Right now, the mission and his group waited for him. Omen knew he had to be closer to the truth because that unknown woman’s voice kept getting stronger, getting more clearer.
Pissed off, Omen briskly walked past Phoenix and the door automatically slid open to the main hallway. The sound of his heavy footfalls echoed in the silent hallway and he became occupied with the woman again. For now, the information he got in his naps was that, as bizarre as it sounds, they were married. He married that woman out of love and they did missions together until he got her out of their organization.
Her call sign is Wisteria. Omen passed down that information to Cypher and nothing came out of it besides the word “TERMINATED” on the blank profile. She did exist and he knew deep down she was not dead.
Another piece of information he attained was that Phoenix is a dog. She did not know of the agent Phoenix, the one that woke him up two minutes ago. Omen could not remember what kind of dog Phoenix was either.
“Cypher found something, Omen.”
Iso spoke up first, his back resting on the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. Omen looked around and found Cypher typing away on the main computer pulling up a familiar profile. The profile of Wisteria popped out on the big screen with new information.
“This profile updated last night and I knew you would want to know about it.”
Cypher typed some more and multiple files began to open up with pictures of the woman from old missions to her most recent one. In her old missions, she wore an all black tactical gear with a Phantom in her hands.
“Wisteria is an assassin that works for Hourglass. She has unique abilities that can rival your teleportation,” Sova said, “and she has a dog that fights with her.”
“A dog?” Omen questioned and Cypher chuckled, a picture maximized from her recent mission popped up. She wore the same outfit, but right next to her with a black tactical vest on was a German Shepherd. Cypher zoomed in on the dog mainly focusing on the patch with the initials PHX in bold red, “The dog’s name is Phoenix and believe me when I say this, you do not want to fight this beast.”
“Where is she?”
Cypher turned his chair around and leaned over with a hint of mischief in his tone, “Protecting the boss. The recent mission in Morocco scared him so he brought his loyal dog to protect him in Indonesia.”
“Is there anything else we need to know more about?” Sova asked this time, the woman seemed to put Omen in a state of anticipation. Cypher remained quiet and his head tilted with a slight. Then he stood up from the chair with a cheerful, “No!”
“Then let’s move,” Omen demanded.
……
“Mama!”
You stopped walking next to your boss and before you could turn around, a body jumped onto your leg and Phoenix let out a happy whine seeing her favorite human. You looked down in surprise to see your three year old clinging onto your leg and looking up at you with pretty [e.color] eyes. His hair was unruly as usual and you picked him up from the floor with a grin on your face.
“Henry, how have you been? Emilia is a nice lady, right?” You sent a discreet glare at the woman in a white pencil skirt and a white blouse to match it. Emilia responded to your glare with a small bow, her stiff body reminding you that she was just following orders as well.
“We got ice cream after I ate my food! We watched a movie too!” Henry excitedly responded and your boss put his hand on your lower back. His creepy touch sent shivers down your spine and you quickly set Henry down on the floor, ignoring his look of disappointment.
“I’m sorry, Henry,” You apologized and pressed a quick kiss on his temple, “but I have to work right now. I promise, I’ll see you very soon.” Phoenix nudged Henry and the little boy’s frown disappeared in a flash. He scratched the back of her ears and she licked his face with a happy wag of her big tail.
You watched with a small smile and said, “You know, Henry, since you’re here Phoenix can join you and Emilia. I’m sure the three of you would enjoy her company, she misses you a lot.”
Henry looked up at you and wiped his face, “Really? But Phoenix is your protector, mama. She helps you beat the bad guys.” He stopped petting the dog and he looked down at the floor in sadness. “What if something bad happens and she’s not there to protect you?”
It should be the other way around, you wanted to say. If something bad does happen and those guys from Valorant are coming after your boss, you need to make sure Henry would be protected. Emilia was a skilled fighter, but against radianite agents…she  had no chance with them. Phoenix will be able to keep Henry well-protected. And you hoped the agents from Valorant have more heart than the ones working for Hourglass.
“Nothing will happen to me, okay?” You ruffled his hair and removed a pocket off your vest. The velcro pocket connects to Phoenix’s vest when you pat it on her. “When you hear her growling low and quiet, make sure you give her a treat. She’s letting you know to hide.”
Henry nodded his head and rested his small hand on her head. You waved at him and walked away with your boss straight up to the penthouse. The elevator ride had been silent until the man spoke up, “It was a surprise to see Henry. I don’t recall telling Emilia to bring him over to the building.”
“I did,” You said without hesitation. You slung the Phantom over your back and continued explaining, “I don’t need Phoenix to watch over me. I thought it best to hand her over to Henry.”
“You doubt Emilia’s skill to protect your son?”
You looked at him with a raised eyebrow, “Do you believe she can take on Radianites?” His silence confirmed your answer. Suddenly a shiver went down your spine and it didn’t go unnoticed by your boss. His words demanded you to find the intruders, “Go on then. Find them swiftly and end their lives.”
……
The first intruder you found was a man with blonde hair and a bow as his weapon. You recognized him as Sova, his aim never seemed to fail him especially in crucial moments. But he lost an eye for a reason. “Are you good at hand to hand combat?” You flexed your fingers then closed them into fists.
“I have experience.” He responded wary of you. He must know about your ability to teleport or ‘blink’ as you like to call it. You ran at him and he released an arrow your way. Before the tip of it could touch your shoulder, you blinked and appeared right in front of his face. Your fist connects with his jaw making him stumble a few feet away from you.
He drew another arrow and you blinked out of its way then reappeared in the same spot. You put your hands on your hips and said, “Please just give up. I don’t have time for this.”
“Neither do I,” This arrow sparked with electricity and it soared towards you with amazing speed. But despite his determination, you caught the arrow in your gloved hand. You wanted to mock him until the arrow sent a pulse of electricity through your system. You yelped and tossed the arrow to the side.
Your body tingled, the feeling of fuzziness coursing through your body. You didn’t notice that you fell on one knee until you were looking up at Sova. “Nowhere to run,” He said quietly and drew his bow, swiftly he looked away from you and pointed it at the penthouse.
“Wait, don’t!” You shouted and jumped forward. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. Your legs felt heavy and your heart beated in your chest rapidly. You charged right into Sova and you both rolled over one another on the rails of the crane. You ended up on top of him and pointed your ghost at his forehead.
Then you dragged your wide eyes to the penthouse seeing your boss falling down the building. You could hear your heartbeat loudly in your ears and you felt the breath leave your body as you holster your pistol. You pulled your communicator from your breast pocket and contacted Emilia.
“Jaguar, respond.” You pushed yourself off of Sova and gripped the communicator tightly in your hand. “I said respond!”
A crackle sparked in the communicator and Emilia’s voice came through. The woman sounded remorseful, “I have orders, Wisteria.”
You knew what she was talking about. Her orders, you remembered them when your boss forced you back in the organization. If you failed him, your son would pay the price. Emilia was his executioner. You could feel the tears in your eyes form, your voice wavering, Don’t do it. He’s just a boy.”
“I’m sorry.” Emilia replied back and this didn’t stop you from yelling at her. “Emilia, he’s just a boy!” Then you hoped the command you would give would be heard by your loyal friend.
“Phoenix, guard!”
Sova stood up and watched you give him a tearful glare in angry silence. Then you blinked twice across the sky into the penthouse, running past Omen without stopping. Sova felt conflicted yet he informed everyone to search the building for a young boy.
……
Omen saw flashes of his past. How he came to be and who the responsible one was. It hadn’t been enough though. He needed more.
“Fool. She’s going to hate you.”
Then Omen felt a wave of sadness and anxiety wash over him. A woman with [h.color] hair and watery [e.color] eyes ran past him with her Phantom gripped tightly in her hands. She spared him no glance and kicked the door to the penthouse down.
“Friends. There’s a boy in danger, I believe it to be Wisteria’s son.”
Son?
Omen ran into the circular hallway and watched Wisteria blink all around the floors looking for the little boy. She knocked down so many doors, jumped over the bodies he’s injured prior to all of this. Then she stopped on the fifth floor and he teleported right after she ran into the room.
He could hear a dog growling and someone muffling their cries. Omen hesitated to walk into the dark room. Could he face her, his supposed wife? Omen peeked into the room and saw her hunched over on the floor, her crying being muffled by something. Phoenix lay down right next to her with a knife wound to her hind legs.
Wisteria must have heard him take a step and she looked over her shoulder at him. Her [e.color] eyes softened and she ran up to him, holding an unconscious boy in her arms. “Please, you must know how to help him. He won’t…won’t wake up.”
Omen looked away from her sad eyes to the gunshot wound in the little boy’s shoulder. “I can,” Omen hesitated, “I can take him, but we have to hurry. His breathing is getting shallower.” Omen could feel the boy slowly breathing, the essence of his soul fading away.
There was no time for hesitation and Wisteria handed her son over to her enemy. Then she ran back to Phoenix, scooping the big dog into her arms. Phoenix whined out loud and Omen could hear Wisteria apologize quietly.
“Follow me.”
He wasn’t surprised that she kept up with him. The urgency in her soul seemed to push him to go faster. Her son’s life was on the line and he knew he must be the one to blame. She failed her mission to protect her boss and the punishment for that was the life of her son ending.
……
Every Valorant agent, especially the young ones, stood outside of the infirmary with bated breaths. They have heard that the mission in Indonesia was a success, but an enemy had been invited to their base of safety.
“So you’re telling me that Omen brought her in? Isn’t this against regulations or something?” Phoenix questioned, his British accent scratching the back of everyone’s mind.
Iso rolled his eyes and sipped on his boba drink, “It’s more complicated than you think. Omen knows what he’s doing, we shouldn’t doubt his judgment.”
The door to the infirmary opened up and Sage and Brim walked out with a confident posture. Sage gave everyone a look and sighed, “I should know better than to think you guys can give anybody some space.”
“So how is she doing? Is she going to try to escape?” Jett asked, still on some kind of alert.
Brimstone spoke up for the both of them, “It’s her son and dog that is injured. And no, we heard her story and we can say that she is not our enemy. Now get back to training or else I will assign some chores for you all to do.”
……
Omen watched the door close and he looked back at Wisteria from the shadowed corner. She looked beyond tired and he felt bad for her. He could feel her sadness and confusion. Her hand slipped away from her son’s and she crossed her arms over her chest.
“You’re not as sneaky as you think you are, Omen.”
Her voice remained calm and he knew she was not mad at him for his intrusion. He stepped out of the shadows, his steps light and slow. She looked at him and gestured to the empty seat next to her where Brim occupied before he left the room.
Omen walked over and took the invitation with not a word uttered.
“I want to thank you for putting our differences aside, especially in a pivotal moment. I was so…so afraid you would turn away from me.” Wisteria admitted and Omen gazed at her. Her hands were tucked into her arms and she crossed a leg over the other.
“Never,” He grumbled and a chord tugged at his heart. He knows his past self told her this and he needed her to recall their past for him, “I didn’t turn away from you before, I will never turn away from you now.”
She stared at him cautiously, but brushed it off to start off his interrogation.
“You must have questions about me or something if you’re lingering around the room.”
Omen shifted in his seat and asked, “Do you know what happened to your husband?”
Wisteria cleared her throat and followed his line of eyesight, she had forgotten that she took her bloodied gloves off. Her silver band reflects the ceiling light as she twirled it around on her finger, “Uhm, no. My former boss told me that he failed a mission and betrayed the organization. Then he threatened me to not look into the mission, so I know he’s out there somewhere.”
Omen moved on to the next question, “You mentioned memory gaps, do you know your husband’s name at least?”
“I do not recall. Ever since I joined the organization and got this ability, the experiments left me with blanks and a house burned to the floor. Not that it matters, we didn’t take many photos together.”
“Oh,” Omen said dejectedly. Then he asked his third question, “And your son, his dad is the one who left, correct?”
She took a shaky breath in and nodded her head, “Yeah, I felt extremely bad not letting him know about his son. When he went on missions, we did our best to separate our home life from his work. I was the only one who would contact him with voicemails and I hated the idea of disclosing my surprise on the phone. Little did I know, he wouldn’t return and now it’s been three years of raising Henry on my own.”
Omen analyzed the way she held her tears back. Wisteria’s voice wavered, “God, I only hope that when I see him again, he’ll forgive me.” She wiped her tears away with a sniffle, “Do you think he would be mad at me? For not telling him?”
The shrouded man flickered in his seat and she noticed the troubled expression on his different face. “I’m..not…” Was now the right time to tell her that he’s her husband? Should he say he’s not mad? That for some reason, he could never be mad at her. She did what was right and did everything she could to protect Henry.
“I’m not..sure.” Omen hated the way her shoulders slumped and the hope in her watery eyes vanished. She licked her lips and whispered, “Right, you barely know the guy. Anyways, why are you asking so much about him? Did he make you into this?”
This?
Wisteria gestured to his flickering form. His conflicted emotions messed up his concentration on maintaining his form. “No, someone else did.”
“Well if you need-”
“Ma..ma.”
Wisteria jumped up from her seat and brushed the hair belonging to her son backwards. She peppered his face with small kisses which caused the little boy to giggle. “Mama, that tickles!” Omen stood up and his heartstring tugged at the childish smile on the boy’s face. This little boy is his little boy. A sudden urge to protect him and the woman felt strong in his soul.
“Wisteria, let Sage know if he needs anything else,” Omen told her and began walking away with heavy footsteps. The door slid open and Wisteria called out to him again, a pretty smile on her tired face, “You can call me [Name].”
Omen hummed and tried her name out, “[Name].” His gravelly voice sent shivers down her spine in a good way and she blushed lightly. Then he gave her a curt nod, “I’ll let the other agents know that Phoenix needs rest and keep an eye on her for you.”
“Thank you.”

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ: ᴄᴏᴜʀᴛʏᴀʀᴅ ꜱQᴜᴀʙʙʟᴇ
Gojo Satoru x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Astra’s face scrunched up as a group of teenagers wearing the same uniforms plus a child walked up to her. She had to contain her smile from seeing how much Megumi had grown. His bored face remained the same even as a child, yet when Lady [Name] came into his life, he brightened up tremendously.  Her Lady stands correct about how strong Megumi is getting. His loyal shikigami dogs stood by his side posing defensively, warning the older men around his group not to come near.
She cleared her throat and ignored the murmurs of the other prospects. Then she asked the group with a neutral expression, “Where is the prospect?”
The female of the group spoke up for her friends, “The idiot is out on a mission. We are his stand-ins, so you gonna take us to [Name]-sensei or what?”
“Maki, manners,” The most timid teenager Astra ever laid her eyes on warned the girl sheepishly. His closed eye smile was not the brightest one she witnessed. A strange and evil presence surrounded this boy. It made Astra give him a weird look and she held her hand out, “The four of you can go, but the boy stays here.”
Panda walked ahead of the group and patted his paw on Megumi’s head, “I’m sure you know who Megumi is. He’s basically the adopted child of your Lady.”
Astra scoffed and shook her head, “I wasn’t talking about Megumi, I was referring to him.” She gestured with an open palm at Yuta who began to shake in his spot. He didn’t want to be left alone out here. All of these men wanted him dead!
Maki blocked the line of sight Astra had on Yuta and turned her nose up at the older woman. “He comes with us or else I’ll let [Name]-sensei know how much trouble you’re giving us.”
Astra blinked once and stayed rooted in her place, snidely she said, “You’re more the welcome to accompany him. He stays here and the rest of you can follow me or you all stay here and I’ll lead Megumi to Lady [Name].”
“What is taking so long, Astra?” Tadashi walked in the courtyard giving the female a look of mild confusion. Then his mismatched eyes landed on the group of kids and he found himself left in a state of shock. His head tilted to the left and he asked them, “Gojo gifted [Name] a pile of dirt?”
The students nodded their heads simultaneously and Tadashi let out a sigh of relief. His hand moved to the side to let them walk towards the estate, “Well then, come on. You are worrying her more by keeping her waiting.”
“But sir,” Astra protested and walked up to the tall male. She looked at Yuta wearily and whispered in Tadashi’s ear with her hand covering her mouth, “That kid has an evil presence inside him. It stirs with rage.”
Tadashi knew what worried Astra and he gave her a reassuring pat on the small of her back, “Thank you for your concern, Astra. But Lady [Name] can put that cursed being under her thumb. Yuta knows better, right?” Tadashi directed his question at the shy boy and Yuta agreed.
“Of-of course, Rika had a rude awakening the first time she met [Name]-sensei.”
Yuta awkwardly scratched the back of his head when Megumi glared at him. His question made Yuta very uncomfortable.
“Did your cursed spirit try killing my mom?” The little boy asked and Yuta sputtered out a quick response. If his new friends saw him get beat up by Megumi, they wouldn’t let him live without mentioning it from time to time. Yuta decided to tell a white lie. What Megumi doesn’t know won’t hurt him!
“What? Of course not! Gojo-sensei would..you know…kill me? Or something?” Yuta can feel himself digging a deeper grave for himself. Even he questioned himself the more he talked.
It didn’t help that his friends told Megumi the truth.
Panda huffed ready to tell an exaggerated story, but Maki beat him to it, her lips curling into an evil grin, “Nah, Rika definitely challenged [Name]-sensei. Poor woman almost had a heart attack.”
Panda hummed with an eager nod.
“Megumi, she had [Name]-sensei this close,” Maki pinched her fingers together then showed the boy a tiny gap to emphasize how bad the situation was , “-to crying her heart out.”
Icing on the cake. Or more like a knife to his throat, Yuta would describe it. The way Megumi stiffened up made his dogs guard him ten times harder. Their mouths opened up to let out animalistic growls rumble in their throats.
Fearing for his life, Yuta pleaded with his eyes for his classmate to tell the honest truth, “T-that’s not true! Maki, how can you-”
“Wow, I haven’t seen Megumi like this since I told him as a joke that [Name] loves me more than him.”
Everyone turned their heads and their eyes relaxed seeing the man of the hour.
Gojo raised his hand up and waved at them with a cheeky smile, “Yo! Who did this to little Megumi? You know [Name] is going to blame me for putting him in this mood. I hate when she gets mad at me.”
“Ah, finally,” Tadashi welcomed Gojo and bowed his head, “You may all go into the estate. She's been waiting in the room, it's the same one as last time.” The loyal family member tried to hurry this along because he knew that the longer you waited, the regret of choosing a pile of dirt would hit you.
The students took a step forward, but they were stopped when Gojo reached his arm out to them. He looked down at their confusion and he shook his head, “You all stay back and keep watch over one another. I’m going in there by myself, after all this is a marriage between your teachers. Give me a little more time to speak to her then I will let Tadashi know to bring you in for a celebration, okay?”
Gojo stood tall and with a serious look on his face. His students rarely saw this side of him and it gave them a little more hope for this new relationship. He may have gifted her a pile of dirt, but her happiness remained on his mind this entire time. He knew that the gift, even though frowned upon by them, would catch your attention because he knew you the most.
“Alright, but don’t take too long,” Maki crossed her arms over her chest, “I don’t know how much longer I can stand out here. Seeing these old guys eyeing us like we’re a plague.”
Gojo hummed and gave them a peace sign, “Five minutes! I promise!” He disappeared within a blink of an eye and Maki looked back at the boys. A rare and relieved smile appeared on her face as she told them, “I know he’s an idiot, but I am so happy that this worked in their favor. [Name]-sensei is really going to marry him.”
“I remember when he declared to us that we didn’t have to worry because everything would work out. Who knew he would be right?” Panda asked.
“Tuna tuna,” Inumaki gestured with a nod of his head, his steel eyes focusing on Megumi’s body. The boy crossed his arms over his chest and didn’t say a word of agreement. His dark blue eyes focusing on the garden he would find his adoptive mother hanging out when he would visit. He could picture the genuine smile on her face, remember her kind words and warm hugs full of love.
His heart skipped a beat and Megumi scoffed, mumbling under his breath, “I want to see her now.”
Yuta jumped up next to Megumi and gave the boy a thumbs up, “Just five more minutes, Megumi! Then you can see her! It shouldn’t be…” Yuta drew out the word and stopped talking when Megumi gave him a side glance.
“You think I forgot about you trying to kill my mom?”
Yuta sweatdropped and smacked the back of his head with a bow, “Forget I said anything!”
“Oi, brats!”
The group of students and Megumi looked over their shoulders to see Naoya Zen’in began walking over to them with a scowl on his face. His hands balled up and one eyebrow twitched in irritation.
“I have a question for you to answer and you better answer carefully.”
…….
Patient.
Worried.
Nervous.
These three emotions consumed your very being, the essence of your soul drowned in the deep depths of negativity. Five minutes have passed with no show from the prospect who had given you a pile of dirt. Stumped by the behavior of this unknown man, you turned to Tadashi who stood loyally by your side.
“Please, Tadashi, ease my suffering and hurry Astra along. It should not take two people to announce the chosen one, don’t you think?”
“At once,” He bowed his head and walked out of the room swiftly.
Silence engulfed the room again and it left you uneasy. Your eyes drooped as you mulled over your anxiety. This man appeared questionable, so much so that you began to regret picking the pile of dirt.
“The prospects, all of them have money, the gifts were very beautiful. Extravagant even and I chose a pile of dirt. Am I…stupid?”
Your palm smacked your forehead like the answer had been obvious. But you choose it because you love gardening. You had no feeling, no connection to any other gift that your maids presented. A burst of cursed energy invaded your senses and it overwhelmed you and you knew that friendly voice that accompanied it.
“Nope! Because I knew my earthworm would choose it. After all, she loves gardening!”
You could cry right now. Your eyes opened up in awestruck and your heart skipped a beat seeing Satoru Gojo leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed over his chest. This had to be a dream, a hallucination. Satoru couldn’t be here with that goofy smile on his face because his presence made you want to burst into joyful tears.
Slowly, you stood up to your feet and the fresh tears pricked your eyes. He smiled softly at you then he straightened his posture, his arms opening up. Your legs felt heavy and your hand dropped to your side.
In a second, you jumped into his arms and they held you with a strong, protective hold. You squeezed him and sighed in relief. He knew what you were thinking and his chuckle rumbled in his chest, “Yes, I’m real.”
“A pile of dirt.” You confirmed and smiled into his white button up. You looked up at him and he peered down at you with his glasses sliding down a bit. His eyes seemingly glowed and he saw yours flicker with gold specks.
“I knew you would choose my gift over theirs any day. After all, it’s the one that stood out the most!”
You laughed and let go of him, stepping a few steps back. You took in some breaths and put a hand over your racing heart, “I swear this is all too much. To think, I’m going to marry my high school crush.”
Satoru hummed and shrugged his shoulders saying, “I told you, I’m your blessing!” He looked down at his watch and said with a grin, “Well my five minutes are up and I know Megumi is counting, so-”
“Wait, Megumi is here? Do the other clan leaders know he’s-”
Satoru interrupted you back and waved his hand dismissively, “Don’t worry, he’s with our students. Nobody would dare to bully Megumi, he’s too strong for them.”
You groaned while you ran your hand through your hair frustratedly, “I’m not worried about him! It’s Megumi we’re talking about, the one who beats up bullies for a living! Satoru, think for a second!”
You briskly walked past him wanting to get to the courtyard as quickly as possible while you left your fiance in the room to ponder over your words. Satoru looked up and chuckled, “Yeah, I’m not one to think about consequences.”
Naoya stopped a few feet away from them and crossed his arms over his chest, “One of you gonna tell me why the hell that dumb whore chose a pile of dirt? I’m not as stupid as the others and I know how women work. They see a pretty thing and-”
Suddenly Yuta was pushed to the side and watched a mop of spiky hair emerge in front of the group. “Oh no~” Yuta whispered and moved the strap of his sword to the front, holding onto the handle, not pulling it out yet. He watched the youngest speak with a growl followed by the wolves snarling, “What did you call my mom?”
Naoya could see that the derogatory word he used to refer to you sparked a flame in this small boy. His frown curled into a smirk and he uncurled his hands, proudly saying, “I called her a dumb whore.”
“Call her that again and I’ll kill you,” Megumi’s wolves gnashed their teeth after his threatening sentence, drool dripping down to the concrete floor.
Naoya mocked Megumi and sarcastically asked, “You, a forgotten child, is going to fight me, the future head of the Zen’in Clan?”
“He’s not alone.”
Yuta’s soul left his body for the second time that day as he watched Maki walk up next to Megumi’s side. Her hand tightly gripping onto her red staff, her words dipped in venom, “You think she raised a pushover?”
“Great!” Naoya laughed into the sky, then his pointed glare focused on the Zen’in kids, “an orphan and a reject, this is a duo I have no problem killing.”
“Sure, you can say that,” Panda huffed and started putting his knuckle bracers on his paws, “but you’re forgetting us too.” Inumaki stepped up with Panda and this time, Yuta put his timid nature at the back of his mind. His friends, though antagonizing a clan leader, weren’t afraid to back each other up especially for a loved parental figure like you.
Yeah, this was going to become a huge mistake, but he will defend his friends.
“Ri-”
“Megumi Fushiguro!”
Chills ran down the spines of the students and the child that was called out. The angry and defensive tone you used had Megumi frozen in his spot, his wolves vanishing in a second with a whine. You stormed up to the group with a disappointed glare looking at each of them. Then you started to disarm them.
You snatched the staff from Maki, tugged the knuckle bracers off of Panda and harshly zipped up Inumaki’s jacket. Your heated glare zoned in on Yuta and he quickly pressed his lips into a thin line and released the grip on the handle of his sword.
Then you turned away to face Naoya, standing in front of Megumi, blocking the sight of the spiky haired boy. You held the items in your arms and bowed half-heartedly to the prospect, “I am sorry your gift was not chosen, Naoya Zen’in, but you cannot question the children of accusations that are not true. My maids presented the gifts and I chose the pile of dirt based on my interest in gardening.
You straightened out your back and  looked over your shoulder to address the group, “Children, apologize to Naoya-san for-”
“Hah?” Naoya groaned, his arms crossing over his chest. He wanted to milk this situation out and get a proper apology out of you, not from them. He wanted to humiliate you in front of them because you humiliated him in front of the other prospects. He boasted and said that you would choose his gift, no matter what. Then your maid came out with a stupid announcement, saying you chose a fucking pile of dirt.
“It’s not them I want an apology from. You should apologize to me.”
“What?” You looked back at him and your eyebrows furrowed in the middle from the confusion.
Naoya gestured to the groups of kids and said, “You’re their teacher and his mother. The way they act towards me is because of your teaching, so you should be the one responsible for their actions. Get on your knees and apologize properly.”
Your eyes slowly traced over to the other men from afar watching the whole scene go down. If you showed any more rejection to Naoya, you would most likely be punished for not following a clan leader’s order. Yes, your fiance is Gojo Satoru, but you still wore the collar they put on you when you were a child.
You bit your tongue and lowered your body to the floor. You set Maki’s and Panda’s items down to the right of you and you hunched over. Your hands stretched over your head and slid against the concrete, your fingertips touching each other.
From afar, Satoru watched you obey the order that binded you to the old geezers. He wanted to stop you from doing that, but this was a lesson for his students, for Megumi. That what they say and do to these men, it would fall back on you. You would have to be the one to apologize, to take their punishment. The crestfallen expressions on his students' faces told him that they regretted their actions and words.
“I apologize for my mistake, Zen’in-san,” You managed to say with ease, “I will do my best to correct my teaching style and make sure this never happens again.”
Naoyo scoffed and took the apology, scolding you, “You better hope that the brats you produce for him will also know better than to talk back. Or else-”
“And that’s where you cross a line.” Satoru spoke smoothly, instantly appearing by your prone position. “Yes, I let you give this one order to my fiance, but this shit changes when she becomes my wife. Onto the attitudes of our children, if you even dare approach them with so much of a word, I won’t mind ending the Zen’in Clan starting with you.”
Your eyes widened and you picked yourself up, looking up at Satoru. The white haired man kept his eyes on Naoya and spoke some more, “Remember this well, she won’t be [L.Name] [Name], the one who wears a collar around her neck. She’ll be Gojo [Name], the one who defies orders and the likes of trash like you. You all are done ordering her around, don’t forget that.”
Then Satoru wrapped his fingers around your elbows and pulled you up to a standing position effortlessly. He leaned down and whispered in your ear, “Take them inside and I’ll be there shortly. I have more to say that I don’t want the kids to hear.”
Stunned, you nodded your head and began pushing the kids towards the estate. They all walked in front of you, dragging their feet trying to catch more of Satoru’s words.
“Listen up, geezers!”
You rolled your eyes with a groan and hurried up the kids into the house. The way Satoru addressed the leaders and elders made you crack a small smile. Yes, soon you are going to be known as Gojo [Name]. And he was right. You were no longer going to be chained.

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴛᴡᴏ: ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʜᴏᴏꜱɪɴɢ ᴄᴇʀᴇᴍᴏɴʏ
Gojo Satoru x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
The days passed by in a flash with preparations and more meetings. Most of the prospects were old men that salivated about the idea of you becoming their wife. Then the other prospects consisted of the future head of the Kamo family, Naoya Zen’in and your good friend, Satoru Gojo.
“Excuse my language, but fuck,” Tadashi walked into your room with that announcement. Your female servants had just about finished their last touches for your appearance then you dismissed them with a gentle wave.
You tilted your head and shifted in your seat, asking him, “Tadashi, what’s wrong?” His eyebrows scrunched up as he glared at his phone, his thumbs typed away an answer it seemed. Then his mismatched eyes looked down at you, his voice angry.
“I just found out that Gojo was assigned a mission! He’s going to miss the ceremony which means he’s out of the game! Those evil bastards knew they couldn’t stand a chance against that man.”
He turned away from you and paced the room with even steps. He showed off his green side for three seconds then his silver blue side for five. The motion of his body and the way he was trying to think of a solution could have eased your mind, but it was fruitless.
You felt trapped. The problem with that feeling is that you always felt this way. Ever since you got Nami’s Miracle, you could do nothing but stand in place. The instructions for attaining the blessing had been destroyed with the murder of your family.
“My lady, the ceremony is starting,” One of the maids from before announced and you stood up from your seat. You took a deep breath in and accepted your fate. The cold started to envelop your body and it sent shivers down your spine.
Suddenly Tadashi grabbed your forearm and looked down at you, “You cannot go out there. There was a slim chance that Gojo could be your husband-”
“And now that chance is gone, Tadashi,” You looked into his mismatched eyes and tried to give him a convincing smile for your next words. “No matter who I marry, I will remain happy. This I promise you.”
Tadashi took a breath in like you did a minute ago processing your words. He slowly released your arm and said softly, “Just give me the word and I won’t hesitate like last time. I made you live through this life, don’t let this be my punishment watching you. I want your forgiveness, please.”
He practically begged.
You knew what he was talking about. The night of the ritual, you had called him for an important assignment. At 19 years old, Tadashi refused the first order from you and it ruined the relationship between the both of you.
Although you had forgiven him a long time ago, yet you never told him. Today had to be that day. You raised your hands up and cupped his face. You stared deeply into his eyes and whispered, “Tadashi, you have been forgiven. Don’t think for a second that I am punishing you. I have to do this or else we will both die. I don’t want our family dying out like this. Those men and their murders on our family marred our own because of our blessing. You told me this that night ‘We cannot surrender because Nami never succumbed to the will of Sukuna. Why would we, her descendants, do the same?’.”
He looked away from you and scoffed with a smirk on his face. Then his eyes dragged over to look at your own smile. With relief, he said, “To think that stuck in your head all those nights ago. God, I really do hope that Nami is truly watching over us.”
You pulled him into a hug and rubbed his back as you said, “Of course she’s watching us. Now let’s get this over with.” You released him and made sure to give him a smile before you walked away.
“Word of warning, cousin,” Tadashi called out for your attention again, “don’t go for the over-dramatic gifts.”
You nodded your head silently and prepared yourself again for the ceremony.
……
Four of your maidens stood in front of their pedestals with their heads bowed towards the gift. All gifts were covered by a sheet of cotton fabric. You walked to the first one and the girl lifted the cloth off the gift. A golden necklace with a ruby in the middle shined under the room light.
“My Lady, I present this first gift to you. It is truly a beautiful piece of jewelry.”
You peered down at the necklace and wholly agreed with her words of praise. Then you moved on to the next gift silently.
“My Lady, I present to you a silver bracelet, it compliments your simplicity.”
You picked up the bracelet and ran your fingers along the shiny stones. They glittered like an engagement ring would. ‘Is this a gift from Naoya-san?’ You questioned yourself then set the bracelet down on the pedestal. You have no need to guess which gift is from which family. There lies no sense in doing that. You will have to do with who you get from the gift they present to you.
“My Lady, I present to you a tea set. If you choose this gift, you and your fiance can share a cup together.”
Now this gift wasn't as dramatic as Tadashi would describe. It had a nice sentimental feeling to it and you would have to go back to it if the other gifts weren’t to your taste. Once again, you were silent as you acknowledged the gift then you turned to look at Astra.
Her hair had been straightened and left to reach her waistline. Usually she put it up in a hair tie because she hated the way it would bother her during her chores. She did not lift the cloth when you stepped in front of her and the other maidens gave her odd looks.
“Astra?” You called out gently and she picked herself up to address you.
“My Lady, I present  to you,” Her hands untied the knot of the cloth and she released the edges at once, “a pile of dirt.”
“Astra!”
You snapped your head to your first maiden, Lyla, her face red with embarrassment. “I thought we told you to keep that out of the ceremony. That is not a gift, it’s dirt.” You looked back at Astra and she held herself high. You always saw her as a woman with no humility or filter, you kind of regarded her as your role model to stand up to the elders.
“This is an important choosing ceremony, every prospect interested in having Lady [Name]’s hand will participate no matter how…peculiar a gift is.” You could tell Astra did not like the gift and had a hard time defending it.
“PFFT!” You reacted to your surprise laugh and covered your mouth with both of your hands. Your maidens looked at you with wide eyes as you explained to them with a gentle hum, “This is too funny. Someone actually brought a pile of dirt to appease me; a woman who loves gardening more than anything.”
Astra smiled at you, since the start of this ceremony you were downtrodden. Yet when she revealed this pile of dirt to you the words of the prospect echoed in her head, This will surely put a smile on my earth-worm’s face. He had been right and Astra needed to reel her lady in.
“Of course, gardening is a huge hobby of yours.” Astra bowed her head down as all the other maidens did. You sighed and analyzed the pile of dirt more. Something familiar lingered in the dirt and you poked one finger into it. The dirt melted in your hands as you messed around with it some more than just poking it. A memory from years ago flooding your vision came through.
‘So how’s that project of yours going? Any success with your blessed energy?’ Satoru squatted down next to your kneeling position, his face directed at the bottom of your rose bush.
You reached your hand out to the dirt and sighed, ‘Some trials are going a lot better than others. Yet, I cannot make it work with vegetables for some reason. Have you seen Megumi around, maybe he can try out a rose.’
‘He’s been in school for the past month,’ Satoru gently reminded you and looked at your appearance. Dark circles were apparent and you seemed to be under some stress. You never forgot when Megumi had to go back into school, so what kept you up all night? Surely it wasn’t the vegetables.
You looked up at him and blinked owlishly, ‘Is something on my face?’
Satoru cupped your face into his hands and his round glasses slipped down the bridge of his nose. ‘You’re a gardener, right? So tell me why you have dark circles,’ He pinched your cheeks and you giggled in his hold.
‘Thank you for showing some concern, Sato~’ You cooed and leaned into his touch some more, ‘I’m having a rough week full of cramps, nothing to really be concerned about. It’s just a woman thing.’
Satoru released you with a shout, ‘Why didn’t you say anything? You know I have a card with your name on it, right? Do you need a new heating pad or- Oh! A heating blanket would be pretty nice!’
He took his phone out of his back pocket and began shopping online for the necessities you needed. You watched his eyes go up and down his phone, his finger tapping then dismissing the tab. Then your mind was occupied with his whole being. The question in your head leaving your mouth unexpectedly, ‘How did I end up having you as my friend, Satoru?’
He stopped his search and his eyes shifted over to your red face, full of embarrassment. You scolded yourself silently for being such a ditz for asking that out loud.
Satoru chuckled breathlessly and said, ‘I’m more than just a friend, I’m your blessing now.’
Without a second thought, you dropped the dirt and cheerfully grinned, “Astra, please bring the gift to the prospects and ask the man who gifted this pile of dirt to step forward. He shall be my husband.”
Astra left her place and did as she was told.
……
Megumi and his older companions stood in a group feeling the glares from their teacher’s enemies - that’s what Satoru called them- all around them. Some voiced their disapproval of children attending such a custom, but Tadashi allowed it to happen. The brown haired male stated that this was the estate of the [L.Name] Family and anyone was welcomed in. In truth, Tadashi allowed it because they were Gojo’s stand-ins.
They were instructed to take his place while he handled the mission that the elders gave him on this important day. He also told them that you would definitely choose his gift over any other gift.
“So what did Gojo-sensei pick out for [Name]-sensei? A bouquet of flowers?” Panda leaned down with his paw covering his mouth to show him obviously whispering to the black haired kid.
Megumi’s eyebrows scrunched up and he crossed his arms over his chest, “That would have been a better gift than what he originally chose. Why didn’t I think of that?” He grumbled under his breath and scolded himself. Maybe he felt stupid because he thought a set of gardening tools would have been more appealing.
Maki looked down at Megumi and popped her hip out, “You guys are hopeless. You better hope she picks out his gift, I can’t imagine her marrying that guy.” She rolled her eyes over to Naoya, the man who wouldn’t stop glaring at them since they arrived.
“He’s making me nervous,” Yuta muttered and hid himself in between the group of his friends, “can this thing go any faster?”
“Salmon.” Inumaki snuggled into his scarf with his hands stuffed into his jacket. Maki looked down at Megumi and bumped into him. She stared at him and said, “You still haven’t told us the gift Gojo-sensei decided on.”
Megumi ignored her penetrating gaze and turned his head away from her. Then he mumbled with a blush of his cheek, shame covering his whole being, “A pile of dirt.”
Panda leaned his big body onto Megumi’s and excused himself, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t help, but mishear your words. You said a pile of dirt?”
“Yes.” Megumi blankly stated.
Yuta could feel the anger pouring out of Maki’s body like it was cursed energy. Her hands clenched up into balls of fury and with a growl she said, “I’m so going to kill him.”
Suddenly the doors of the courtyard opened up to reveal a pretty maiden. She bowed her head to everyone and picked it up after a few seconds of respect. Her shiny lips parted as she declared openly and loudly. “My lady has chosen her gift. May the man who gifted a pile of dirt please step forward! Lady [Name] has chosen you to be her husband!”
The group of students paled and their souls left their bodies immediately.
“[Name]-sensei really chose the pile of dirt?!”
............................................................................................
Here's another update for today! Please put your answer in the poll for this very important question. I had trouble deciding whether this series should involve [Name] and Satoru to have kids. Yeah, I said kids. So decided wisely as this will choose which direction I shall go with this story.

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴛᴡᴏ: ᴘʜᴏɴᴇ ᴄᴀʟʟ
ɢᴏᴊᴏ ꜱᴀᴛᴏʀᴜ x ꜰᴇᴍ!ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ
[Name] is forced in a shitty situation to once again transform Kaiser, but this time in his prime age. Riko misses important messages and phone calls from her sister. She's soooo dead.
Tumblr media
You were growing concerned. Riko wasn’t answering her phone and neither was Kuroi. Your leg was bouncing up and down from the nerves and you were picking at your nails trying to calm yourself down. You had called Riko 6 times and you messaged her 27 times! Riko couldn’t be ignoring you, she knows that she has to check in with you periodically.
You had sent her a picture of the concert tickets to go see Ado with a message saying, I hope you’re ready to party this weekend. You never really listened to the artist and only got the tickets because Riko never stopped talking about Ado this and Ado that. You saved up your money from the missions to get tickets and now that you finally got them, you were hoping for an excited response.
Riko, if you don’t respond to me in the next hour. I will send Kaiser to hunt your ass down.
The hour was coming up and you sat on the half wall near a river with a bottle of water next to you. It had been half empty for the past half hour and you clenched your hands to control your anger. Kaiser was swimming in the water like a serpent then he would dive in and breach the water like a dolphin.
You couldn’t relax. Questions regarding Riko’s health and her whereabouts were filtering in your head. She should be in school by now. Was it her choir class? It was possible that she didn’t have her phone because of her classes. That still left you with Kuroi ignoring your messages.
You couldn’t think more about it because the person to your right appeared out of nowhere with a sentence that sent chills down your spine.
“You have an interesting cursed technique.”
Swiftly, you created a safe distance from the voice that spoke to you in peculiar interest. You wasted no time to put up your barrier and Kaiser jumped to your aid. His eyes glowing an orange color matching your own.
The man that spoke was definitely older than you and physically stronger. Yet he exuded no curse energy. How was it that he could see Kaiser? He was extremely fast as well. It was no doubt a Heavenly Pact and you had no way to counter him if he fought you.
Kaiser’s growl caught your attention and you saw the baby dragon getting into a defensive position. You could tell that this man was extremely dangerous to your guy's wellbeing.
“Who the hell are you?” You demanded glaring at the unusually attractive man.
The man smirked and a gross purple worm curse appeared wrapping around his body. “Well I’m going to be the dragon slayer now,” He chuckled and pulled out a sword from the worm’s mouth, “Toji Fushiguro.”
“Blue.” You strategically used a Commandment and a mix of orange and blue swirled in your eyes. This was going to be a hard fought battle that you needed to get out of. Your phone buzzed in your pocket and the man gestured to it, keeping that smirk on his handsome face.
“You should get that. It could be your little sister.”
“What?” You asked perturbed.
His fingers flexed on the handle of the sword and he spoke again, “Come on, you have to know about the money. Headline reads: Amanai Sisters Wanted Dead for 60 million yen. 30 for each of you, it’s a nice prize. Although it seems I’m the first one to challenge you.” You didn’t let his information make you falter. Riko must have been the one to be calling you.
Yet she hadn’t been answering your calls for a while. It could be possible that she was captured already and her captors were calling to negotiate something with you. You cleared your head and focused back on your situation. You had no faith that Riko was alright, so you had two choices. End this fight quickly or run away.
Kaiser could be transformed into an adult again, yet the amount of cursed energy it would take would burn across your body like wildfire. You had to come out of this situation alive. You didn’t need to be healthy, you only needed to be breathing. It didn’t matter the pain you would suffer through as long as you aged up Kaiser.
“Because it’s a stupid mistake to challenge the Shinigami,” You sneered and a puff of black smoke covered Kaiser's body. There was a searing pain starting from your chest that began to spread out towards your body. It burned so much yet you continued on with your task. Your hands formed a diamond shape in front of your mouth and you casted out a technique.
“Red.”
You blew into the diamond and fire spewed out towards Toji Fushiguro. He smirked at the powerful attack and dodged it with insane speed. This created a huge distance between you and him.
This attack allowed time for Kaiser to emerge from the smoke in his final form. His pearlescent wings had spread out wide about 150 feet and his neck slipped out of the smoke with a terrifying, bloodthirsty look in his rainbow colored eyes. His long snout dipped low as he analyzed Toji Fushiguro; the enemy to his master.
His pointy mouth opened up slightly and liquid fire started to drip out to his chin down to the floor. The fire hissed when making contact with the floor displaying how hot it was. The two horns on top of his head curved towards his spiny back and his tail swished about high in the air. His chest and belly had rows and rows of hardened scales allowing him to be impenetrable from physical attacks.
A rumble vibrated in Kaiser’s chest and he flapped his wings at Toji shooting a ball of fire at the crazy man. Quickly, you climbed onto Kaiser’s back and looked over his shoulder to see Toji adorning that psychotic smirk on his face.
“You’re not so bad. I can tell you have a hold of your cursed technique.”
“Is that so?” You patronizingly asked the man below you.
Toji chuckled and replied back, “Your dragon was a baby seconds ago. My employer told me that you reverted him earlier today. That was the whole point as to why I decided to attack you now. I thought you would be drained from the amount of cursed energy you exhausted today. Yet here you are, perched on a big ass dragon like you own the world. I have a feeling you won’t disappoint me.”
Your skin peeled back as the burning increased all around your body. You were lucky enough that the uniform you wore covered the freshly inflicted wounds. Unfortunately, the fabric was melting into your skin. That must have been the only reason why Toji Fushiguro was hesitant to attack you full on. His fangs were always pointed towards the strongest, but he knows all of your techniques. Your rainbow colored eyes matched that of your dragon meaning you both were attuned to one another.
The fight would have been different if your eyes were just orange, blue and red.
“Laika, Kaiser,” You commanded the fearsome dragon and he did as he was told. He turned to the side and his claws dug into the cement floor. Then he turned his back on the man and took a running start down the riverbank.
In a last ditch effort, Toji jumped at you with his weapon of choice high in the air. “Where are you-” Toji began to ask you, not aware of how quick Kaiser could be. Despite his slow start of a run, his tail was swift in retaliation. Kaiser never left his master unguarded, especially with her back turned. His spiky tail flicked up and smacked the left side of Toji’s body.
Toji’s body was slapped into the river with a huge splash. Hearing that sound made Kaiser let out a chuff of satisfaction. You looked down at the ripples of the water when Kaiser took flight into the clear blue sky. Your eyes relaxed and you commemorated your dragon on his attack, “You always had very good reflexes, Kai.”
He let off a deep roar echo in the sky to show his authority.
….
Riko was afraid. Her sister had called her so many times and messaged even more! The picture of the concert tickets were exciting, but the last message of a threat was pretty terrifying. One time Kaiser did pick her up without any notice…just straight into the air she went crying crocodile tears.
Anyways, the young girl tried reaching her sister ten times, but it went to voicemail each time. This was all yesterday and she hadn’t received word back from her sister. Until the boys convinced her to go to the beach and have fun there. Riko was sitting down in the shade tired from playing in the water when her phone began ringing with the song “Usseewa” playing.
‘This was the ringtone for [Name]!’ Riko cheered and scrambled to get her phone out of the bag. She answered so fast and tried explaining why she couldn’t answer yesterday.
“Ah! [Name]! I am so sorry I didn’t answer you sooner! I just been-“
“Riko, is Kuroi with you?” You interrupted, using a reversed technique to heal the burns over your body. You probably shouldn’t have forced Kaiser to age up after reverting him. Yet desperate times call for desperate measures.
Riko looked over at Kuroi who was conversing with Gojo and Geto. You didn’t sound too well and she ran over to her caretaker to put you on speaker.
Kuroi, Geto and Gojo looked at her as she stuck her phone out so everyone could hear your voice.
“Yeah, she’s with me now. Is everything okay, you don’t sound too good.”
“There’s a bounty on our head. I need you to…to get somewhere safe.” You held in a bloody cough and fell deeper into Kaiser's warm body. You had finished peeling your clothes off your body with your teeth biting onto your tongue. Kaiser had helped out a lot with your jacket by tugging it off in one sweep earlier.
You may have let out a string of curses when he did so.
Riko looked up at the trio with worry in her dark blue eyes. Something was wrong, you never sounded this weak before.
“[Name], where are you? Is everything okay?” Riko asked again and she flinched when she heard you coughing over the phone and wheezing in pain. Your shout made her jump in fear.
“Listen to me!” Your throat was hoarse from all the coughing, “You don’t…you don’t have a lot of time! I need you to get somewhere safe! Kaiser will protect me while I recover and when I do…I’m coming for you. So for now, just listen.”
Riko subconsciously nodded her head and told you, “Alright, I’m here with-”
Gojo slipped a hand over Riko’s mouth while Geto shook his head, mouthing the words, “Don’t mention us!”. Riko stared at them with her eyes furrowed and she pushed Gojo’s hand off her mouth.
“Who else is with you? What does he look like?” You sat up and Kaiser purred at you. The dragon sniffed your hair as you stood up with a groan.
“He?!” Riko shouted, she didn’t know you were that much of a psychic! Kuroi stepped up and calmly defused the situation, “Don’t worry, [Name]. I’m pretty sure Riko is in shock right now. You sound like you’re in terrible pain. It…it’s making us worry.”
You had to be truthful to make them aware of the dire situation. “I was attacked by a man who had no cursed energy. His name is Toji Fushiguro and super attractive, you won’t miss a guy who looks like him. Furthermore, there is a bounty out for Riko like what I stated earlier. Every group in Jujutsu is coming after us and I’m in a pretty bad shape, so I’m going to call my friends to bring you to my school. From there, I will protect you and  figure out what I need to do next. If I have to kill everyone who gets in my way, I will do it.”
Riko was stumped. A man with no cursed energy had hurt you? “I don’t understand, big sister. You have Kaiser, why are you injured?”
“Because my idiot principal and idiot friends convinced me to revert him to a baby.” You hissed while Kaiser licked your wounded back with his slimy tongue. His saliva had healing properties and it worked faster than your reversed technique. “I had to force Kaiser to transform into his final stage. His cursed energy burned all across my body, but we made it out alive.”
Riko shook her head and shouted at the phone, “What kind of friends would make you become vulnerable?! Who are they?! When I meet them, I’m going to give them a piece of my mind!”
Kuroi nervously looked over her shoulder at the teen boys and they both whistled with their hands stuffed into their pockets. The older woman knew your friends were these boys by the way they stopped Riko from mentioning them.
“You are going to meet them soon because they are the ones that are going to escort you back to the school. One is a guy who can eat curses, pretty gross in my opinion and I’m sure he thinks the same way too. His hair would be in a bun or something and his name is Geto Suguru.”
Riko looked up from the phone and at Suguru in complete shock.
“The next guy…he’s a pain in the ass, that’s all I got to say about him. His name is Gojo Satoru. Oh yeah, he wears round glasses. It’s easy to take notice of this duo.”
“Big sister, do you trust these guys to keep me safe?” Riko asked with a tremor in her voice. Suguru and Satoru were astounded by the young girl’s question. She had trusted them to give her fun last days, but now she was looking at them with weary eyes.
“Of course, I do.” You said with a soft smile, “They’re my best friends. They wouldn’t do anything to harm you.”
“I know they’re your friends, but they hurt you,” Riko said, “and now you’re putting me in their care. Why can’t you just send Kaiser my way and he can get Kuroi and I?”
You hummed and looked at your body, it was mostly healed from the burns. But you were exhausted and hiding in an abandoned warehouse. “I’m sorry, Riko. I can’t do that now, sending Kaiser over to you will get me killed if another sorcerer finds me. I promise,  Suguru and Satoru will deliver you to me.”
Riko wiped her eyes and clenched the phone tighter in her hand. To the young Amanai, this conversation felt like the last one she would have with her big sister. There was a force that pushed her to say more on the phone. Yet she didn’t have the guts to do it. Instead, Riko sucked it in and said her goodbye,
“I will see you soon, big sister.”
“Of course. I love you, Riko.”
“I love you too. Bye…” Riko stared at her screen and with a shaky thumb ended the call. Then she looked over at the duo telling them to listen to her last request, “Take me to the school.”

Gojo Satoru x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
In order to be a gentle lady of a house, you need to be a woman of patience and tolerance. Control your emotions and do not let your words slip from your mouth so easily. Sit across your prospects with regal dignity and speak when spoken to.
Your mother and grandmother were no longer on this earth to guide you or to make a decision for you. So what do you do when you sit across from a man who so desperately wanted your hand, but you wanted nothing to do with him?
“We hope to hear an answer from you today, Ms. [L.Name].”
You slowly opened your eyes and hummed in thought. The chai mixed with coconut milk swirled around with the small spoon being its cause. Your hand stopped moving and you tapped the white spoon on the rim of the tea cup.
Could it be possible to decline one of the strongest families in Jujutsu society? You always pondered this question and your good friends, Shoko and Satoru, have told you many times that yes, you definitely can do that. You cleared your throat and set the spoon down on your small plate decorated with sweets.
“I thank you for your patience, Naobito-sama and Naoya-san. Yet I have trouble with making a decision that decides my future. As you both know, I inherited the blessed technique from my mother and it is considered, well, a blessing, to hold such a power.”
But they do not know that blessed energy erases all signs of cursed energy. You could never give the strong heirs they wanted to the Zen’in Family because your children will grow up to harness blessed energy, not cursed. You know for a fact that Naoya would beat you for keeping such a secret from him.
“I have to speak with all my prospects before I come up with any decision. Remember this meeting is to cement the choosing ceremony. We work out our deals here and now then when or if I choose your gift,” You gestured to Naoya with a smile on your clear face, “Our deal is made with one another. May we continue with the terms?”
Naobito sighed while his son was growing angered by the second you ignored the bribe they tried to get you to take. You wanted things to be fair, so you didn’t care for the gift that Naobito told you that Naoya would put in the choosing ceremony. Then you insisted that he choose a new gift or else you would blatantly refuse it once the day comes.
“Yes, we shall proceed. What we want most is strong heirs,”
You held back the roll of your eyes behind your light purple veil. It was made of the most intricate lace and you did not want them to catch any signs of your annoyance. It fit well with the white shawl that connected with the light purple kimono.
“Children with your blessed energy will give a new power to the Zen’in Family. With that being said, any and all heirs that you produce will be well taken care of.”
You took the cup in your hand and indulged in a sip of the cool drink. Then you set it back with a soft clink and replied back,
“Even if they are born females?”
You knew exactly what you were implying when you asked this question. You saw how badly the twins, Maki and Mai, were treated. And you hated every second you spent at the Zen’in’s seeing this harsh treatment. They were just little girls back then and they should be treated with the same respect.
“If they are girls,” Naobito put his hand under his chin and murmured to himself. Then he put his hand down and said, “I expect Naoya and you to produce a male first.”
Your shoulder shook from your giggles and you lifted your veil a bit to glare at Naobito, “You know as well as I do that we are not in control of that. If you cannot ensure my future daughters' well beings then there should be no further discussion, Naobito-sama.”
You shifted to the left and picked up a brass bell at the corner of the table. Before you could ring it, a hand had clamped down on your wrist and your eyes followed up the trail of the traditional kimono.
Naoya was glaring at you with a scowl on his face like he was trying to formulate his sentence to the best of his ability. Then his lips parted to say,
“I know that no matter what, you will produce a male first. You’re a strong woman and you hold a powerful energy that only female members can attain. When our son is born, he will not possess the blessed energy, but my cursed technique or a variation of it. Our daughter will inherit that ability to control blessed energy and if she comes to existence, she will be treated like her brother. You have my word.”
To put trust in his word would be like feeding yourself to the wolves. Nonetheless, you took your hand back and nodded your head to the deal, “I understand, Naoya-san. I will see you at the choosing ceremony.”
You rang the bell and your faithful servant, Tadashi, slid the door behind you open to allow the Zen’in’s to leave your home. Naobito and Naoya walked out while you held your head down as they passed by. Another servant guided them out of your home while Tadashi bowed his head before walking in the room.
You lifted up your veil and looked up at Tadashi who gave you a sympathetic look.
“Lady [Name], our grandfather would beat me with a stick seeing an expression like that on your face. He would scold me for not doing my job.”
This caused you to wipe the look and replace it with a tired smile, “Oh, Tadashi, what’s that saying our grandparents used to say to us when they caught us fighting? We would be at each other’s throats, do you remember that?”
Tadashi laughed with his chest and he kneeled down at your side, “I would like to forget those memories. Anyways, they told us, ‘There is always trouble in the night, but the sun rises every morning’.”
You rubbed your cheeks with the tip of your fingers and said, “Tadashi, whoever I go to, will you follow me? You’re the only family I have left and I cannot imagine myself surviving all alone.”
“Now we both know grandfather would rise from the grave if I do not follow you. Of course, anywhere you go, no matter how far, I will be right behind you.” Tadashi promised and he stood up to his full height. He walked out of the room and told you that there was one more prospect that would like to speak to you.
You cleared your throat and put your veil back down to cover the upper half of your face. Your eyes were hooded and you fixed your position. With a shaky hand, you rang the bell and waited for the man that would be making a deal with you.
“Ow, Maki, did you really have to bring a weapon with you?”
“Of course!”
“Did you see the way they glared at her? I would have brought a weapon too!”
“Salmon.”
The door slid open and you stared at your students with your mouth parted in surprise. You couldn’t believe that your students were here, especially on an important day. You wanted to scold them for doing this until you felt a very familiar cursed energy behind you.
“Good morning, earthworm! I decided to bring your favorite people to eat some lunch with you while you take a break from seeing those old men!”
You turned back around on your knees and pointed at Satoru with a worried glare, “What are you doing here? And you dragged our students to be here too? Do you know what this would look like? Like I’m not taking my marriage prospects seriously.”
Control your emotions. Be patient and tolerant. You chanted this a few times in your head then you focused back to the teenagers that awkwardly stood at the entrance of the room. You addressed all of them with a stern tone, “Did Naobito-sama and Naoya-san see you?”
Satoru shook his head furiously behind you and made a ‘X’ with his hands over his head.
Yuta rubbed the back of his neck and spoke up for his group, “Yeah and well, we weren’t accepted gracefully. B-but your servant, Tadashi, said it would be okay for us to have lunch with you! That Naoya was the second to last of your marriage…people…husbands?”
You rubbed your temple and called for Tadashi who immediately appeared in the room with his head bowed.
“And what of the last man, how long is he willing to wait? I don’t have time to eat with my students although I would love to. I do not want him waiting for too long, Tadashi.”
You didn’t want to reprimand Tadashi in front of your students, but these meetings needed to be taken seriously. The brown haired adult cleared his throat and gestured to the man at your table, “Excuse the terrible announcement, but Ms. [L.Name], Gojo Satoru is the last man. He was the one to suggest lunch with your students to make you comfortable.”
You could feel the confidence radiating off of Satoru’s body. You glanced at him from behind your veil and he was currently leaning on the palms of his hands. One leg was bent and the other stretched out to you from underneath the table.
“You can hide your eyes with that lace cloth, but your blush is very apparent.”
His words made the heat on your face even more unbearable and you looked away from him. Your right hand flew to your face and you cleared your throat, not wanting to make his words any truer than they already were.
“Well then, please sit down.” You told your students and they happily crowded the table. A spot was left free by your right side and you looked at Yuta oddly. Did he not want to sit close to you?
You had thought you and Rika settled your differences. Your questioning gaze took up Satoru’s attention and he smiled at your turmoil.
“I invited another to join us, but they’re running late.”
Yuta looked to his left and saw the scrutinizing squint you were giving him.
“I don’t want to get beat up, [L.Name]-sensei.”
Was all he said as an explanation then someone else barged into the room dumping his backpack onto the floor. You didn’t have time to greet the person because he dropped his body down next to you with a huff. Spiky hair blocked your vision as the person gave you a hug and greeting,
“Sorry, I’m late. Someone invited me an hour ago.”
Megumi pulled away with a grumble and glared at Satoru who snickered at him. You hugged the boy back and looked down at his attire. He was in his school uniform and it looked a bit tattered.
“Megumi, did you get into a fight?”
The boy ignored your look and pulled away from your loving hands that skimmed over his face that was slowly forming bruises. So this is what Yuta meant. He was afraid Megumi was going to beat him up.
“What a silly notion.”
You chuckled and servants flooded the room with food on plates. You let Megumi enjoy the food as did the rest of your students. They were very interested in what you had to say about your whole ordeal.
“I just hope my future husband is…I don’t know.”
You deflated and thought back to your prospects. None of them were truly nice to you and all they cared about was the blessed energy you had.
“It’s hard to know that I’m the last one in my family with a technique that every family wants to grab a hold of. The thing is, they don’t know the important downside of marrying a [L.Name] that has blessed energy.”
You drank more of your tea and explained further with your head down in shame, “Any heirs I produce will not be able to have cursed techniques. Carrying the babe for nine months will erase anything they inherit from their father. My sons will become protectors of their sisters. Like how Tadashi is my protector.”
“W-why not just tell them that?”
Yuta stuttered and he yelped when Maki smacked the back of his head. Then she picked up her bowl of rice saying, “She’s the last of her lineage, idiot. Why do you think that is?”
Yuta looked around the table for an answer and you handed over some beef to Megumi’s plate which he took gratefully. You spoke softly and said to Yuta,
“My family was assassinated one night. All my cousins, aunts and uncles. Even my mother, who was the holder of Nami’s Miracle, our ancestor from the Heian Period, died that night. Tadashi, at the time, slept in the room next to me and he heard the commotion first and woke me up. As stated before, a male [L.Name] is assigned as a protector and he was mine. He dragged me out of my room and hid the both of us in this room.”
You closed your eyes and sighed, “My mother died because she was the reincarnation of Nami. They killed her because Nami was Sukuna’s, how do I put this?”
Your two students, Maki and Panda, and Megumi spoke up all at once.
“Slave.”
“Wife.”
“Concubine.”
This earned a forced smile from you, “Yes, all those. They were afraid that Nami would overtake my mother’s soul and I don’t know, betray everyone? The only reason why I lived was because Nami’s Miracle was passed down to me with a ritual after my mother took her last breath. They believe that I could be controlled by their authority, they weren’t wrong about that. I am indulging in their marriage proposals.”
“And if you tell them that your future children cannot inherit cursed techniques, what’ll happen?” Yuta innocently asked, he wasn’t in the mood to eat anymore.
“Nothing will happen to her,” Megumi grumbled, stuffing rice into his mouth as he chewed angrily. Even thinking about harm or death coming to you made his blood boil. “They won’t lay a hand on her.” The 13 year old boy boldly stated and swallowed his food with a drink of his water.
“He’s right,” Maki chimed in, “[L.Name]-sensei will be protected by us, no matter who she marries. You better let us know if they hurt you, got it?” She directed the question at you and accepted her words. Your students were too precious for their own good.
“Hey, this is my proposal, not yours,” Satoru leaned over the table with an elbow propped up and his chin in his hand. He tilted his head from his students then to you. Despite his blindfold and your thin veil, he stared straight into your eyes. You could feel the way he drank your appearance up.
“I don’t care if our sons become protectors of their sisters. But that’s because I believe that our sons will still get something out of being their protector. After all, we are the strongest sorcerers, the same will go for our children.”
Children. Not heirs.
“But if they don’t?” You straightforwardly asked.
Satoru hummed and put his chin in his hand puffing out his cheeks for dramatics. Then he raised his arms up and said happily, “Well then, they’ll have my good looks! Come on, eat up! I made sure Tadashi had the servants in the kitchen cook your favorites along with Megumi’s.”
Megumi swallowed his current piece of food and pointed a death glare at his guardian, “I deserve this after you sent me a late invite. I swear you like to see me fail.”
“Nope!” Satoru shouted and picked up a sweet delicacy, “I just love to prove how much you love your dear mother figure!”
You giggled at Megumi’s staunch commitment with his words, “I will choose her infinitely over you as a father figure.”
“That’s enough from you both,” You hugged Megumi into your side as you winked at Satoru trying to appeal to the white haired male. But his feelings were hurt by the young boy.
“Excuse you, I’m the one who found you in the dumpster,” Satoru said offhandedly.
This caused Yuta to look at Megumi with wide eyes, “Wait, Megumi was found in a dumpster?”
“Yep! Discarded like he was nothing and I had to be the one to find him!” Satoru leaned back on his palms again while Megumi slammed his hand on the table. Some of the silverware and dishes clinked against one another,
“No, I wasn’t found in the dumpster! Also you’re the one who approached me with a weird looking face! [Name] was the only one out of the two of you that was approachable!” Megumi shouted in defiance.
It was at this moment you wished you could stop time. You were surrounded by people you loved and who loved you back. Megumi and your students filled parts of you that your family should have if they were still alive.
You watched silently as Megumi and Satoru argued with your hands in your lap. Maki and the boys grinning at the silly scene that radiated a comfortable environment for all.
If you were married to Naoya, you know that moments spent with your newfound family would be no more. Maki was a discarded Zen’in and Megumi…well he was under the care of you and Satoru. Your other students were also going to be turned away.
Your eyes fluttered over to Satoru and you saw the way he slightly turned his head to you. He closed his mouth holding back his retort and shouted shifting to a different target, “Maki, you won’t believe this, but Panda and Yuta lost Playful Cloud!”
“They what!”
“That’s not true! He's lying!”
It was a diversion so Satoru could speak to you alone over the table while Megumi joined in the teens yelling at one another.
“You’re nervous.”
This statement from Satoru was true.
“Of course, I am. This week is the choosing ceremony and the holidays are coming up. I will be with my husband celebrating Christmas with him for the first time…if he celebrates it.”
You said all this with a dejected tone. Meanwhile, Satoru listened diligently to your words, spoken and unspoken. He knew you were concerned over the life you had now and what would be taken away once you marry.
Satoru hummed and leaned over the table again, but this time he was much closer to you. Carefully, he reached his hands out and pinched the end of your veil and pulled it over your head.
“He was right to call you pretty girl this entire time,” Satoru whispered.
Your breath hitched and your heart ached from the mention of an old friend. Pretty girl was a nickname Suguru Geto honored you with while Satoru stuck with earth worm because of your love for gardening.
“Satoru, I might do something stupid if I marry Naoya. Like jumping off of a bridge,” You looked down and missed the way Satoru’s body tensed up.
“Don’t worry, everything will be okay,” He pulled away and the veil slipped down once his fingers released the fabric, “ because I promise that I will be your husband.”
This declaration rang with truth, you could feel the shivers run down you back once the words left his mouth. Yeah, it would be a blessing to marry your high school crush.

This is for all that read and love 'The Wife of Gojo Satoru', this series will be discontinued.
...
...
...
Nah, I'm just pulling your arm!
Tumblr media
But, I will be rewriting the whole series and making it a bit clearer with flashbacks, marriage proposals and the current Shibuya arc. Right now, I was going through the whole series with a new chapter about to be uploaded until I notice some plot mistakes here and there that didn't really connect. Sometimes, the blessed energy and having Nami was too much to read into as well.
Like JJK, the blessed energy was pretty much hard to come up with and how it works. I had created an OC that was in the Heian Period that was blessed by a God for enduring hardships with a maniac overlord, Sukuna. Plus Gojo's background with [Name] was troubling to write for a bit.
I needed them to connect not because of her marriage proposals and to save her from a terrible family like the Zen'in's. But because he truly loved her and she truly loved him. I hope you all understand the rewrite and don't worry, most of it will remain the same.
I won't change what you all loved. The old chapters will remain in a post I will call 'The Archives'. That's where old series will be locked up at!
I hope you all can understand where I'm coming from and I hope to see you share the love you had for the original to the new one.
The new story will be called, 'Oh, My Beloved.'

hi!! how are you? i hope you are having a lovely day and staying hydrated.
i just would like to request a tobio x fem!reader where reader is the younger sister of oikawa and because of the "bad blood" between the two, she gets tired and lectures them about how they should stop their petty fight and, at least, be civilized with each other. (though oikawa is mainly the petty one 😂)
it's a bit messy, so it's okay if you don't decide it or completely change the plot.
btw, i absolutely love your fics!!! and i definitely am a fan of yours!!!

The Karasuno Boys volleyball team were excited to be invited to the Karasuno’s Girls volleyball tournament. The tournament was called ‘Spring Days’, it was showcasing the popular teams of Japan and they couldn't wait to see all the cute girls there.
Then they were all smacked in the face when Kageyama offhandedly said that he wouldn’t be there to support the Karasuno girls.
“What do you mean you’re not going to support them! They always support us!” Hinata shouted at his grumpy teammate. The orange haired male was currently shaking the life out of Kageyama.
Then Kageyama scowled and began wrestling Hinata as he said, “Because I would be betraying someone important to me. She plays for Shiratorizawa.”
“Eh?” Hinata stopped shaking Kageyama and just stared at him blankly while being held in a chokehold by said male. Then he whispered so the rest of the boys practicing wouldn’t hear them, “Someone important? Like a girlfriend?”
“Is that a problem?” Kageyama casually asked, pushing Hinata away. He picked up his drink and started gulping down the water in his plastic bottle. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and shrugged his shoulders, “It’s a good thing I get a free ride there, but don’t expect me to cheer for our school.”
“We are there to support our team, Kageyama,” Sawamura crossed his arms over his chest and glared down at the young teen with his dad stare, “And if I don’t hear you cheer for them, you will not set for two games- no three games.”
Kageyama deflated and looked off to the side in thought. You would understand the punishment he was getting and would want him to do what’s best for him. But your attitude was going to be different during the game. “Fine, but if our school faces Shiratorizawa, you’re gonna wish I cheered for her instead.”
The boys watched as the volleyball nerd went over to the net getting ready to practice some sets. They had no idea what he meant by that and left to join him for practice.
…..
Saturday came quicker than the boys anticipated, nonetheless they sported the Karasuno jackets and walked into the large stadium with giant smiles on their faces. They all loved the feeling they got walking up to the court, so sometimes it was weird for them to be watching and being the supporting students.
Kageyama was glued to his phone, messaging his girlfriend non-stop. Hinata would definitely peek over Kageyama’s shoulder, but he would always be pushed away with a hand in front of his face. The boys were seated in the first row and had an amazing view of the court.
Kageyama was doing perfectly fine until he heard his rival speaking from afar. “Ah, the poor little trashy crows have to play against my amazing little sister. I can only imagine how giant the point difference is going to be.”
Kageyama looked to his left to see two empty seats. That was until that annoying voice still praising his sister got closer. His dark blue eyes looked up to see brown ones glaring at him. Then another male popped up from behind the curly brown haired person.
“Ah, Kageyama, you’re here to support [Name] as well?” Iwaizumi asked, walking in front of Oikawa and greeting the stumped black haired male.
Kageyama bowed his head then said, “No, I’m not allowed to cheer for her or else I won’t be a setter for three games.”
Iwaizumi sat down next to him and chuckled, “I get it and I’m sure she would as well. Did you tell her?” The older teen got comfortable and looked at his old teammate.
“I’m afraid she’s going to give the Karasuno girls a hard time if I did,” Kageyama admitted with his eyes directed hard at the ground.
A loud laugh caught their attention and Oikawa leaned back into his seat with a smug smile on his face. “[Name] is so going to crush your trashy team solo! If I were you, I would tell your other halves to forfeit now.”
Iwaizumi elbowed Oikawa’s rib cage causing the male to lurch forward with a holler. Before Kageyama could agree with his rival, his loud teammates came into the picture with heated glares, “What makes your snotty sister so special, huh?” Tanaka shouted while Nishinoya stood behind him with a fist in the air, “Ten bucks, our team does the crushing instead!”
“Deal!” Oikawa shouted back with one hand holding his side while Iwaizumi shook his head from the lack of awareness these idiots had. The usually grumpy male leaned over to Kageyama and whispered, “You do know that your team is going to make trashykawa super rich after this game?”
Kageyama crossed his arms over his chest and grumbled back, “I tried to warn them.”
“Welcome all to the Spring Days tournament where talented ladies from all over Japan showcase their volleyball skills.”
The female announcer excitedly proclaimed in her microphone. The males couldn’t focus on what she was saying because a new group arrived behind them and this group wasn’t going to go unnoticed.
“Oh my, is that Oikawa Tooru? The big brother of our baby eagle, [Name]?”
Kageyama peeked a glance at his rival and saw the instant disgust on the male’s face which caused a bit of happiness to appear on his own face. Kageyama thought this was a perfect karma moment for the smug male.
“You do well to address my little sister by her last name. Just because she trains with that guy, doesn’t mean you cannot show her or myself some respect!” Oikawa pointed at a very tall third year student.
Ushijima looked down at Oikawa with his eyes and stated, “Your sister likes the nickname the team gave her and she has all our respect because of her skills. At least she took my advice to join the girls team at Shiratorizawa unlike you. She’s being nurtured if that’s what you care about.”
“Don’t word it like that, it makes you sound like a pervert! Also that’s because I don’t want to be your teammate! You’re the one that brainwashed my poor sister! I should have persuaded her to spend her time elsewhere!”
“What, like Karasuno?” Tendou snidely said with a snicker.
Kageyama could feel the tension from his captain and vice captain as Daichi spoke up with a fake smile on his face. The third year Karasuno male turned around and asked Tendou with that cheap smile, “Something wrong with Karasuno?”
Tendou hummed and shrugged his shoulders, “Ehh~ You don’t really see people with skill choose Karasuno unless they’re rejects,” He looked at the back of Kageyama’s head, “Or useless dreamers.” He stared at the rest owlishly.
“That’s enough out of your mouth,” Semi joined in and told everyone to focus on the game which is about to start. Everyone had their feathers ruffled up in some way and it was because of their snide remarks to one another.
“For our first game, we have Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa! Please welcome them to the court!”
Kageyama pulled out his backpack from under his chair and everyone looked at him suspiciously. He didn’t pay attention to their questioning glares as his eyes were on a girl who looked around the arena for him. Of course, your knees were not covered by your usual white and purple knee pads.
It only took another minute for you to find him and you ran over to the stands with a giant grin on your face.
“Tobio, thank you so much for bringing them! I forgot I left them at your place!” You huffed out and sat down in front of his backpack digging in it without any permission. You found your knee pads and took them out with a sigh of relief. “You just saved me from running ten laps back home.”
“It’s no problem at all,” Kageyama responded with a gentle smile on his face as he admired your look. The rest of his teammates were baffled by the look of his face and how pretty you were. You seemed kind, way kinder than your older brother.
You slipped your knee pads over your shoes and comfortably on your knees. You looked up at Tobio and blushed at the soft look he was giving you, but you could tell he wanted to tell you something. “Is something wrong, Tobio?”
“Yes!” Your brother shouted standing up from the bleachers, “He’s not going to cheer for you! But don’t worry, you have me!”
“And us!” Tendou shouted from a row behind. You laughed and pushed yourself up from the floor. You weren’t going to tell them that you didn’t notice them because of your attention to your boyfriend.
“Is there a reason why you’re not going to cheer for me, Tobio?” You asked with a pout on your face and he stood up immediately to comfort you. You loved this about him, he was pretty shy, but he made sure to keep you happy.
He looked at his team then to you and explained, “They didn’t believe me when I said that my girlfriend plays for Shiratorizawa and said that if I didn’t cheer for the Karasuno girls then I wouldn’t set for three games.”
You laughed and gave Kageyama a quick hug pushing him gently back onto his seat, “Eh, don’t worry Tobio. I was just teasing you. I know I will always have your support! Anyways, what’s the bet?”
“You know about the bet?” Hinata questioned bewildered by your psychic abilities and you scoffed with a smirk on your face as you gestured over to your older brother, “Please, if my brother doesn’t force someone to bet on my skills then he’s not my Tooru.”
“We bet ten dollars,” Oikawa said and leaned back while Iwaizumi shook his head in exaggeration.
Then you rolled your eyes and fixed your knee pads a bit while saying, “I would have gone higher, older brother. But that’s okay, I hope to see you all in the finals.” You winked at Kageyama and shouted over your shoulder as you walked away, “I better not hear the both of you talking smack to one another. It throws me off my game!”
Oikawa sat back in his spot and glared at Kageyama, “Why were her knee pads at your place?”
Kageyama shrugged his shoulders and zipped up his bag. The words from you not even seconds ago being forgotten because of a cruel idea in his head. He was tired of Oikawa and this was for sure going to get him riled up.
Kageyama turned his head and smirked at Oikawa, “Maybe because she spends most of her time on her knees.”
“I dare you to say that again!” Oikawa shouted while being held back by Iwaizumi who had to hide his blush from his former teammate. He wasn't expecting Kageyama to be that bold!
“I meant what I said!” You shouted, giving a glare at your rambunctious brother.

Thank you for your support and I hope this was a fun read for you because I had fun writing it!!

Snow has always been your favorite time of the year. You loved the snow as it reminded you of your childhood with your doting parents. They would play in the snow with you and show you how to create snowmen.
You wanted to have a little fun with your new partner. Yet he was a grump when it came to the cold weather and told you he had no interest in doing small things with creation.
You were half tempted to command him, but you wanted him to do it on his own volition. So you decided to have a little festival in your village and have your people join you for the festivities.
It didn’t take long for Ryomen to see the villagers having fun in the snow from the peak of your temple. His eyes searched for your form and it didn’t take long to spot you crowded by children.
He never saw the appeal of playing in the snow. Although that pretty smile on your face and the happiness in your eyes made him slightly curious to see why you were so entranced by this weather.
You were having so much fun with the children. From their laughter to their glee, they were the reason why you loved the snow so much.
“It’s truly fascinating that this is what catches your attention the most.”
You turned away from your snowman and saw Ryomen with one knee in the snow and his hand grabbing a clump of it. He flicked it off as quick as you looked at him.
“You actually came down from the temple. I was afraid that you were going to stay grumpy and watch from afar.”
He scoffed and walked up to you saying, “Of course, you’d know when I’m watching you.”
You giggled and shrugged your shoulders, “You always have your eyes on me. Ever since that assassination attempt on my life. I believe your chef hates me.”
Ryomen chuckled and replied smoothly, “Uraume hates everyone.”
This didn’t sway you and you pressed him harder, “The next time Uraume tries to kill me, I’ll force them to eat themself. It sounds like a befitting death for them considering that they made my villagers eat each other.”
Ryomen’s eyes narrowed and he stood up to his full height. With a growl-like voice, he said, “If they try to kill you again, I’ll deal with them myself.” It was like he was declaring to you that you wouldn’t even get the chance to kill Uraume. It was endearing to say.
You smiled softly at his threat and bent down to grab a handful of snow in your hand. You smashed it and smoothed it out to a ball. Then you looked at one of the kids in a group trying to build a snowman. You side glanced at Ryomen with his eyes still on you questioning what you were up to.
You reeled your arm back and lobbed the snowball at a young boy. It fell on top of his black hair and he turned around to you pointing at Ryomen. “Oh my, Kyo! Sukuna wants to start a snowball fight with you!”
“A what?” Ryomen asked glaring at you then the kid named Kyo.
The black haired kid ruffled his hair to rid the snow with a smug grin on his face. “Clan Leader, we all know that we are the undefeated champions. There’s no way he can take us by himself with a cheap shot like that.”
You put your hand down and laughed seeing the look on Ryomen’s face. You knew he loved a challenge and if he had to show some snotty little brat a champion, he would do so in a heartbeat.
“Well Kyo, Sukuna never runs from a-“
“I don’t have time to play these games.”
Your smile dropped so fast and you looked over at Ryomen puzzled by his interruption. For sure, you had thought he had some interest in playing in the snow. He didn’t say another word and you scooped a handful of snow in your hand with your eyebrows furrowed in the middle. With an attitude you told him, “Don’t turn your back on your enemy.”
You threw the snowball at the back of his head and he stumbled forward until he stood completely still.  “This is a splendid festivity that everyone needs to enjoy!” You bent down and packed another ball in your hands then chucked it at his back this time.
“I’m tired of you being a grump all day and having no fun!”
You threw another snowball at him aimed at the same spot.
“You never spend time with my villagers!”
You chucked the last snowball and sighed defeatedly because you were getting no reaction from him. So you crossed your arms over your chest and huffed out, “If you really want to be my partner, I need to know you can have some kind of fun.”
You were expecting to meet an angry Sukuna Ryomen, The King of Curses. But instead your face was met with a ball of snow. A deep and hearty laugh could be heard from your partner as he declared to you and the kids, “If you want a fight then come and get it! I won’t go easy on a bunch of brats!”
……
“Mom, heads up!”
Toge’s warning came from afar and you swiftly dodged a snowball that Gojo Satoru threw at you with a playful smile on his face. You’d forgotten that you were in the middle of a snowball fight with Gojo and some of Toge’s friends. It’s been a long, long time since you participated in one. Some could say centuries.
Maki sliced a snowball with her staff and pointed the tip at the new student, Yuta. “That was a pathetic shot!” She shouted out and you threw a snowball at a flustered Yuta as he was distracted by Maki’s grin.
The snowball smacked him in the face and he shook it off with a cheerful smile. You couldn’t help but laugh at the shot you took. It was short lived when someone plopped a handful of snow on the top of your head.
Gojo rubbed it in and said, “You’re supposed to go easy on my team, remember?”
You moved to the side and wiped the snow off with a light chuckle. Then you looked up at him and shrugged your shoulders, “You said that the boys were capable of beating the girls. I had to defend Maki and I!”
“By what? Stealing Panda and having Toge leave Yuta and I alone!” Gojo shouted with his arms up in the air and a pout on his face. You could feel the pieces of snow in your hair melt as you said, “Oh come on, Gojo, you and Yuta are strong! You just landed a sneak attack on me!” Gojo’s pout melted into a smile and he dropped his arms back to his side as he wanted to thank you for this small event.
After Suguru passed, Gojo was going to fall into a slump until you came along offering his students and himself a day of fun for Christmas. He could tell you wanted everyone to forget what happened the day before. He remembered the way you smiled at his students and offered hot chocolate, presents and a snowball fight to which they all agreed to.
You could see the the gentleness in his smile and you were going to ask if dinner should be started until you heard:
“Oi, brats! Defend your queen or else I’m going to steal her!”
“Oh no! Our queen, you have to run away while we protect you!”
Quickly you turned around and saw a family of five playing in the snow from afar. The father was playing a villain it seemed while the mother was the queen and the children were her protectors. In a flash of memories of so long ago, you saw your village kids and Ryomen in their place. It took everything in you not to cry and long for it to be true again.
Ryomen made the snowball fight into an all out war with the village kids and you watched him conquer them all. He threw some fast snowballs that weren’t packed hard so when it hit, it didn’t hurt as much. Plus they were children, you had to remind him that a few times when they did hit hard enough for some to cry.
You managed to blink your tears away as the image was gone and focused on the memories you were creating today. “I believe we should start eating dinner!” You shouted to the teenagers and patted Gojo’s back with a winning smile. “Next time, I will try not to steal anyone from your team, but I can’t-”
“Hey, is everything okay?”
“Huh?”
You looked up at Gojo with sudden confusion. He wasn’t someone to get all serious in a quick second. At least, that’s what you heard from Toge. His teacher was usually a goofball and the stories about him made you laugh countless times.
“I hope everything is okay,” You tilted your head slightly then watched Toge leave with his friends in the direction of the temple. “Why are you asking?”
Gojo followed beside you as you walked a bit far from the squad. He stuffed his hands into his black jacket and replied back, “Well, you looked pretty sad staring at that family. You missing yours?”
You rubbed your gloved hands together and tried to warm them up with a breath of air. You noted that Toge’s teacher was pretty observant. “I always miss my old family, Gojo. Not a single day goes without me thinking of them or seeing them in people passing by. Toge reminds me of what I had before too. I had a son before he came into my life with a husband and a big family.”
“What happened to them, if you don’t mind me asking,” Gojo looked down at you and saw the sad shine in your eyes.
Maybe it was the sentimental feeling today brought, but for some reason you told Gojo what happened. “Jujutsu Society can be cruel to those who hold a dangerous cursed technique. Some of my family members betrayed me and the others died for their loyalty to me. My husband left me for a life of greed and hunger for power then died. My first son died as soon as he left my womb, he wasn’t even named.”
You said this in an even tone, your voice strong yet filled with remorse. Then you saw the happy grin on Toge’s face as Panda rubbed his paw into his light colored hair. “Not a day goes by without me thinking about them,” you reiterated, “but Toge is my son now. His friends are becoming a part of my family and I will do anything to protect what I have now. I won’t be naive anymore.”
The temple came into view and you saw Toge stop at the steps leading up to it. You snuggled closer to your scarf and looked up at Gojo declaring to him, “My son has given me purpose and I will never lose sight of it.”
He stopped in his tracks as you continued to move on. He watched you converse with the kids and they nodded their heads to what you told them. Then your attention dragged over to Yuta who looked back at you sheepishly. Gojo could hear you explain your customs to the boy and everyone laughed at him when he bowed his head to you.
“You idiot, she’s not The Sorcerer Queen!” Maki barked out a laugh holding onto her stomach.
“W-what, but I thought- and Rika- wait!” Yuta stammered out with his blush of embarrassment darkening. He tried to explain himself, but his group of friends couldn’t stop laughing at him.
“She would have to be centuries old!” Panda exclaimed.
Gojo could sympathize with Yuta, his distant relative, because he felt the same energy come from you as well. You had cursed speech, but you could speak in full sentences that didn’t harm surrounding people. Your cursed energy also canceled out Toge’s cursed speech which allowed him to speak freely around you. But the Sorcerer Queen had a second technique she inherited from her mother’s side; The Third Eye.
“Just follow what we do,” Toge instructed Yuta and followed his mother up the stairs leading to the temple for the Inumaki Family.
You reached the top of the temple in five minutes and watched some servants that were on top brushing the snow off the cliff. They bowed their heads when they became aware of your presence and you acknowledged them back. One servant dressed in thick clothing came over with blank slits of paper and pencils for your group.
You took one of each and walked up to the open doors of the temple. A statue of a woman that represented you stood tall with flowers and seashells by her feet and a crown on her head. Your old village was next to a body of water that offered seashells and fish to your people. They gifted you with necklaces and earrings made from the seashells.
You wrote down your wish for Lady Inumaki; I wish for another year of peace.
Then you walked over to a group of candles specifically for your family and lit the candle with a match. You lifted your paper over the flame and watched it burn away, the words disappearing into the cold air. Five unlit candles surrounded yours and you turned around to see Toge walk up with his wish for Lady Inumaki to take.
You moved off to the side and watched as he retraced your steps. The love in your eyes stirred something in Gojo and he could see that you were a true mother. A woman that would do anything to protect her son and to prevent what happened to her first born. He needed to introduce you to Megumi and ask how you make children fall into your sides so well.
Gojo could see how high his students hold you up. You supported Maki and never pitied her for the lack of curse energy she had. Panda loved your hugs and said that you made him feel normal besides him being a mutated curse corpse. Yuta came in on the wrong foot because Rika felt threatened by your presence, but you immediately diffused the situation with a small command to calm her down.
Yuta hasn’t been able to apologize and you never brought it up to the timid male. Last but not least was Toge Inumaki, your son. All Gojo has known are cruel mothers. If their child wasn’t born with a strong cursed technique, that mother wouldn’t hesitate to throw them away. If their child was strong, that mother would control the kid in an agonizing way, making them grow up to be ridiculous adults.
Yet you raised Inumaki in a loving household full of servants that respected you and him. You showed Maki how to relax from time to time and you often trained with her. Maki was surprised to see that you knew all kinds of fighting styles that benefited you in the long run. Panda was interested in the knowledge you shared with him. He visited the house a lot to read the books in your huge library. Gojo was sure that Yuta would find something that links him to you and you would create another motherly relationship with the male.
“Gojo-sensei, it's your turn.”
Gojo looked down at his blank piece of paper when Yuta whispered at him. Earlier, Inumaki explained that people would write their wishes on the piece of paper and burn it as an offer to Lady Inumaki. The white haired male wasn’t one for tradition, especially one so old. But it wouldn’t hurt to do this one time. He held his pencil and put the paper against his hand writing his wish down.
He lit the last candle and watched his wish burn away. He wanted to ask what the point of this was. Make a wish and watch it turn to ash, it sounded like it wasn’t going to become true at all.
“It’s not supposed to.”
Gojo woke up and looked to his right to see his students staring at him. Inumaki was the one to speak to him and it was like the teen read his mind. Maki picked up his explanation and said, “We write our wishes down to remind us of what we want.”
“And we burn them to take control of that wish because we are the only ones that can make it come true,” Panda finished with a puff of his chest. They all stood proud and Gojo was left to ask the older Inumaki.
“Hmm, I guess that makes sense,” Then he went on to ask the older Inumaki, “Why are the candles different amounts? It looks like yours burned a lot, but Inumaki…his candle looks brand new.”
You giggled and wrapped an arm around your son’s shoulders, “That’s because every year we make a wish to start the new year. If we do not work towards our wish, we get a new candle starting the new year. My candle is the shortest because my wishes have been successful. Poor Toge, though, had to get a new candle last year.”
“That’s because no one understood me,” Toge grumbled and looked off to the side.
You pinched his cheek and looked back at Gojo, “You and Yuta will have to work hard every year to remind you of what you have accomplished so far in the future years.”
“Couldn’t we just lie and say our wishes were successful?” As soon as he asked, all the candles in the room blew out and the temple darkened from the lack of light. An angry look flashed in your eyes before you fixed your composure and said, “Lady Inumaki doesn’t like liars, it’s best that you remain true to your wish and work for it.”
The candles came back to life and you watched as the servants began closing the temple off. It was almost time for supper and you knew the kids were ready to eat. “Alright, it’s time to head down now. I’ve had the servants prepare us a yummy meal!” You cheered and the teens began to follow after you engaging in conversations.
Yet Gojo looked at the six candles and saw two candles off to the side not lit. He wasn’t dumb and he knew that those candles were for your late husband and baby son. He sighed and stuffed his hands into his pocket again. A thought came back to his wish wondering if he was actually going to get to the bottom of it.
I wish to find out the truth of [Name] Inumaki’s past. And for Megumi to appreciate me for once! -.-

Apologies for the long wait on this chapter. Like I said, this was just an idea that needed to get out of my head lmao! This was going to be another Gojo series, but then Sukuna came into mind. You'll see dashes of Gojo here and there, don't be surprised! All in all though, Sukuna has this girl!!

In the Heian Period, [Name] Inumaki was born. She became the Inumaki Clan Leader on her 17th birthday. The village people protected by her dubbed her as The Sorcerer Queen because of her unique curse technique; Cursed Speech. Not only that, she inherited another curse technique which came from her mother. This curse technique was called "The Third Eye". It allowed her to move objects with her mind and harness curse energy to become powerful attacks, gravelly injuring all species that were hit by it.
Uraume stumbled upon this small village and is shocked to hear that not a single soul has heard of Ryomen Sukuna. Baffled and disgusted by these people for having the audacity to ignore the strongest man, Uraume brings this news to Sukuna. Unbothered by the news, Sukuna tells Uraume to let the village be.
Uraume disobeys the order and goes back to the village. The people seem to be friendly and polite as they greeted Uraume with no pause. This unsettles Uraume and angers them to the point where they kill some villagers in the name of Sukuna. And if that wasn't enough show for power, Uraume cooks the people they killed and threatens for the audience to enjoy their meal.
Immediately, the villagers call out for their Sorcerer Queen to save them. [Name] perks up at the sound of her terrified villagers and tells her interesting partner that she needs to go. The man in her temple tells her that he can help her with the intruder. Skeptical, she accepted his help nonetheless wanting to see his true form and power.
Upon arriving on the scene, [Name] is appalled by the sight see is seeing. Her poor villagers feasting on cooked human flesh. Sorcerers today can only imagine the anger the Inumaki Clan Leader felt that day. Stories range from [Name] killing Uraume herself to [Name] controlling her villagers to kill Uraume.
But it was further from the truth. [Name] wasn't the one who wanted to fight Uraume. In fact, it was Sukuna Ryomen who wanted to engage in a heavy battle with his chef. For ruining his plan on having the Sorcerer Queen by his side, Sukuna declared to [Name] that he will put Uraume back into their place.
[Name] had other plans in motion. Instead she declared for everyone to remain still and silent. Sukuna and Uraume were victims to this command that felt heavy on their bodies. The King of Curses watched the young female approach the cooked human flesh with tears in her eyes.
Then she ordered Uraume to clean up her villagers of blood and flesh. Get rid of the human flesh and the dead bodies. Consider this mercy or else she would have had Sukuna beat the living shit out of her.
.....
"Mama, that's a bad word."
"Huh?" You looked down at the child in your arms and nervously chuckled. The child was right, you did use a bad word, but it was for good reason. Although you posed as this child's mother, you were actually [Name] Inumaki; The Sorcerer Queen.
You were telling this story to the child because you needed him to understand you a bit more even in story form. "Ah, Toge, ignore that word. It's just that you know? [Name] must have felt so much anger that day."
The little boy hummed and nodded his head, "Well yeah, if you were cooked as a meal, I would be very sad and mad. No one is going to cook you, right?"
You laughed at his question and hugged his body close to your chest. You snuggled in as he giggled.
"No one is going to cook me up, love. Now let's get you into bed."
Toge crawled out of your arms and began walking to his bedroom. You helped him dress into his pajamas then you tucked him in for some sweet dreams. He was a bit antsy until you commanded him with your soothing voice, "Sleep, young one."
He closed his eyes and immediately fell into slumber. You stayed kneeling by his bedside watching the rise and fall of his chest. A flashback of your own child returned to you and you dismissed it with a sad sigh.
It's been a thousand plus years of your cruel fate. One that was bonded to your King of Curses. You have waited and waited. You died only to come back to life a million times. You've been through wars, famine, sickness to bare the thought of your lover coming back.
Yet these years have made you human again. Caring for a little boy that wasn't yours and protecting the Inumaki Clan to the best of your ability. It was your fault that your clan almost went extinct. So now it is up to you to restore you clan's stability and spot as one of the strongest sorcerer families again.

I had to get this idea out of my head. It's a literal plague. So I really don't know if this will actually become a series.

The boys do their best to make [Name] notice her situation then they are sent to protect the Star Plasma Vessel. Why was [Name] not to be involved in the mission?
Tumblr media
“Hey.”
Suguru’s calm voice filled your ears and you hummed to him as a response. You weren’t really in the mood to have a conversation and he totally ignored your threat from when you left the class. Not like you were going to actually kill your good friends.
He took the empty space next to you on the spiky grass with his arms resting on his spread out knees.
“You know nothing is going to happen to you, right?” Suguru asked, his soft eyes looking at your closed-off body language.
“Nobody can guarantee that,” The unease tone in your voice could be heard from a mile away and Suguru couldn’t place why you were so adamant about Kaiser’s age.
Your past was a mystery and you only mentioned one family member; a younger sister. You never described her or you never used your last name. Everyone has addressed you by your first name.
It perplexed Suguru that he didn’t know anything about you. Of course, he knew your likes and dislikes. There was also the betrothal between you and Satoru.
From what he understood, the betrothal was an accepted deal you and Satoru agreed upon. It benefited the both of you by keeping The Elders off your back. Satoru described it as a friendship pact and you silently nodded with the stupid description.
“Kaiser, he’s a cursed spirit that is passed down in my family. He’s a guardian of some kind while also giving the master his ability and strength.”
You explained out of nowhere and Suguru wasn’t protesting the idea of it. You were opening up and this whole ordeal was allowing you to talk to him without any distractions.
“He grows with me and I grow with him. I learn how to use his eyes and he tells me what to do. But now, I can’t hear his voice anymore,” Your eyes stayed on baby Kaiser who ran around the big field on all fours. You tried talking to him to ask how he was feeling, but to no avail. He was so silent and you hated it.
Every day, he was talking about anything and everything. He reminded you of Riko and he made you miss her less because of the resemblance. It allowed you to grow stronger to protect her.
“I thought you said that he was in his rebellious stage?” Suguru chuckled because he watched Kaiser leap in the air and tumble onto the grass with an annoyed growl. He didn’t catch the butterfly.
You nodded your head and huffed out, “Yeah, he’s a teenager though. What kind of teenager doesn’t have a rebellious side? Take Gojo as an example.”
“That’s a terrible example,” Suguru shook his head and leaned back on his hands looking at the cloudy sky. “So the only colors you have access to are orange and yellow? Your shield projection can protect you much like Gojo’s infinity.”
You groaned and flopped back onto the grass, “Geto, that’s not the point. I lack the power to fight now. I can defend myself, sure. I can use a Commandment, yet it’s a risky move on my part.”
“A Commandment? What is that?” Suguru questioned as he looked down at you. He blocked the sun’s light and you opened your eyes before propping yourself on your elbows. You were sure that you told him about the Commandment.
“A Commandment allows me to use a color I don’t have access to like purple. The color purple allows me to defy space and time, but it’s dangerous. My body isn’t fit to use the color and the longer I use purple, the more injuries my body sustains. All colors have different injuries, like red will give me burns. Green will make me sick, so very sick.”
You grimaced from an old memory of practicing commandments with Kaiser when you were younger. He told you that green wasn’t all that bad compared to purple. You disagreed with him because you were puking nonstop.
“But your body is used to red, green and blue. You can use the commandments to use those techniques, no?”
An imaginary brick dropped on your head and you looked at Suguru blankly. His question echoed in your head like a broken record. Then you sat up and grabbed him by his shoulders with a giant grin on your face. “Suguru, you’re a literal genius!” You shouted and he looked away from you with a roll of his eyes.
“I think you were so hungover of reverting Kaiser back to a baby to actually take in your situation.” He calmly responded and you stopped shaking him like a ragdoll. A familiar presence made itself known and you turned to see your betrothed behind you guys.
“How come he’s allowed to talk to you, but when I try you attempt to kill me?”
You and Suguru looked up to see a pout on Satoru’s face. His arms crossed over his chest and he plopped himself in between you and Suguru. His jealousy was always just a joke to you. There wasn’t a moment you took him seriously.
“Because Geto doesn’t come over to tease me,” You looked at Satoru accusingly and the white haired male reeled back in offense.
“Are you saying I don’t care about you or your family?”
You hung your head back and denied him, “No, but you literally just joked about me being powerless when I left the class. How is that any way of being supportive?” You crossed your arms over your chest and looked at him with a questioning glare.
Satoru shrugged his shoulders and gestured to him and Suguru, “Maybe because you have us to rely on? You don’t have to do everything by yourself, it’s not that hard to ask for help.”
“Oh sure, says the man who is like the strongest jujutsu sorcerer. You try getting your cursed technique taken from you and let me know how easy it is for you to ask for help.” You picked yourself off the floor and walked over to Kaiser wanting to try out a commandment.
To your dismay, Kaiser noticed your presence getting closer to him and being the childish spirit he was now…he began running away from you. You broke into a sprint after your baby dragon , shouting for him to stop running away from you.
He unfurled his wings and your eyes widened. If he took flight there was no way you were going to catch him. As a last ditch effort, you stretched your arms out and jumped forward. You felt his scaly body in your hands and you pulled him towards your chest as you rolled onto the floor.
You came to a stop on your knees and you looked at Kaiser. The beast had his tongue out as he was huffing and puffing in your face. “Nice catch, [Name]!” Gojo cheered and you shook your head with a smile on your face.
……
“What is she doing?” Satoru asked Suguru and the black haired male watched you with a small smile on his face.
“She’s trying a commandment out,” Suguru explained,  “Since she knows how to use red, blue and green, we think her body won’t sustain any injuries.”
Satoru tilted his head and nodded along, “You know what? That does make sense because Kaiser already prepped her body for those colors. You think she might try purple?”
“Nah, she’s not that dumb.” Suguru countered.
Then you disappeared within a blink of an eye and a small “Eh?” escaped from their mouths, their faces confused as ever. Satoru stood up and began looking for his friend with a goofy smile on his face. “I knew she was going to give purple a try! I know her more than you do!”
Suguru nervously smiled and stood up next to his friend, “I was only hoping for the best. [Name] isn’t very bright sometimes.”
“Hey, look up!”
The male teenagers looked up to see you falling down towards them with Kaiser tightly held close to your chest. Your lips were pressed tightly and you looked sickly as you free fell from the sky.
On instinct Satoru pushed Suguru aside and held his arms out to catch you. In no time, you landed in his arms safely and you took a shaky breath in. Your body had been shaking from the sudden teleportation and your chest aches in pain.
You had to thank Satoru, but a heap of your blood was coughed onto Kaiser’s small body. The baby dragon groaned in disgust and hopped out of your arms. He shook his whole body and wings to get your blood off of his pearly scales. Satoru looked at you in mild surprise as he set you down carefully. He watched you cough up a lung (metaphorically) and you held up a hand to the concerned boys.
“Just…give me a…second,” You huffed out and straightened your back out sucking in a deep breath. You closed your eyes in complete pain and mumbled to yourself, “Negative into positive. Negative into positive.” Then your internal injuries began healing themselves with reverse cursed technique. It was a lot harder to focus this time because of the ache in your chest.
“I’m not very surprised to see you use purple,” Satoru smirked and his teasing began. You wiped the blood from your chin with the back of your hand. Then you glared at the baby dragon by your feet looking up at you expectantly.
“That’s only because Kaiser mistook my commandment for blue as purple. I told him that since I can’t use purple I will use blue. He took it as “of course you can use purple, watch!” Next thing I know, I’m forty feet in the air with broken ribs and a punctured lung.” You rubbed your chest feeling the aching like a phantom scar. Kaiser nudged his head into your ankle and purred as an apology.
You waved him off and mumbled “It’s no problem, Kai.” Even though it definitely was a problem.  How could the god of death be so…childish? You rolled your eyes and looked behind the boys to see Masamichi making his way onto the field.
“Great, he’s here,” You said disdainfully. You scooped up Kaiser and pulled out your phone from your pocket. The teddy bear charm swinging left and right as you messaged your sister. You haven’t checked up on her in a few days and the concert is coming up soon.
You really didn’t want to talk to Masamichi, all things considered, so you bid the boys farewell with Kaiser nuzzling into your chest. Satoru watched you go silently and he turned around to get a new mission for him and Suguru. It was odd, he thought. How Masamichi gave them a mission that a being named Master Tengen requested their presence for.
And to make things even weirder, the mission involved a protection cause. They had to keep a young girl named Riko Amanai alive so that she could merge with Master Tengen in two days' time.
The smug smile on Satoru’s face was wiped off when their teacher excluded a certain female from the mission. “And make sure that [Name] doesn’t get a word of this. I’m counting on her to not get involved.”
…..
“Huh, you know, isn’t it a bit odd that Masamichi told us not to get [Name] involved?” Satoru asked Suguru, drinking his cold drink from the vending machine. The boys were walking to the destination of where Riko Amanai was currently at.
Suguru replied back with his back hunched over as he walked, “I wouldn’t think too much about it. [Name] is seen as weak in Masamichi’s eyes right now. Involving her would put her in danger of these two groups.”
……
“We can’t afford to watch over her and the Star Plasma Vessel at the same time. Even if she can use commandments for colors, we can’t risk Kaiser misunderstanding her like on the field.” Suguru waited in the elevator as he spoke more to Satoru about your situation.
“Yeah, yeah, are you sure you aren’t underestimating her strength? [Name] would be more suited for a protection mission anyways. She can literally use orange and summon a barrier around the poor girl. Plus with us two, we’re an unstoppable trio. I don’t have a problem with them calling for us two though, we are the strongest after all. I mean that’s why Tengen asked for us specifically, right?” Satoru’s blunt and very arrogant tone made Suguru’s face scrunch up in disgust.
“Uuuuhhhh?” Suguru droned.
“Huh? What is it?”
Suguru wiped the annoyance off his face and went back to his neutral expression. “You know, Satoru, I’ve been meaning to say this for a while. Although[Name] has scolded you for this many times already, maybe you need to hear it from me. You need to stop being so full of yourself.”
“Huuuuhh!”
Suguru could hear the can of soda crunching up over the phone as he walked out of the elevator. “Especially when you’re addressing your superiors. We might end up meeting Tengen soon. You really should be more polite and humble.”
“Hah! Yeah, screw that! I don’t hear you telling [Name] off when she gives Masamichi crap. You should really give her a talk about her attitude then try to talk to me. I wasn’t joking when she told the elders to go fuck themselves. I heard it!”
“Come on, Satoru. She’s basically a lost cause, you know what? I’ll bring this up later,” Suguru gave up and rang the doorbell next to the door.
“Coming!” A female voice called out then a beep rang out alerting the black haired male.
!BOOM!
Satoru pulled the phone away from his ear and turned around to see the top floor of the building explode. He put the phone back near his ear and asked Suguru casually, “You alive?”
Suguru’s calm voice came over the phone, “I’m still breathing.”
“You think we’ll be blamed if the kid died from that? Ah, I’m just gonna call [Name] to do this mission for us.” Satoru tossed the can aside and watched Suguru catch the young girl in his arms.
“Now don’t be ridiculous. She shouldn’t be involved.”
Satoru’s shoulder slumped in defeat. His thoughts wander to you and Masamichi. There was a rift between the two of you and it started when you were expelled. You were lashing out more and Kaiser was following your emotions. His behavior had nothing to do with his age, it was always your emotions that he mirrored non-stop.
Then there was Masamichi. He had you revert Kaiser into a young baby. Why would their teacher force that order on you. It didn't add up and Satoru wasn't a math guy.
He dug into his memories for old conversations he had with you. He was searching for anything that could help him figure you out. Then it clicked in his head.
“You know, [Name] might be on her period. Maybe that’s why she’s so moody.”
“Are you serious right now?”

ɢᴏᴊᴏ ꜱᴀᴛᴏʀᴜ x ꜰᴇᴍ!ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ
[Name] comes back from her suspension and is at her most vulnerable. Masamichi goes on to give the mission to Geto and Gojo.
Tumblr media
“Welcome back!”
Gojo shouted from the top of his lungs and threw confetti into your surprised face. You weren’t expecting to be greeted with such enthusiasm when you walked into the classroom. Alas, your betrothed was beyond normal with dramatics.
Your dull black eyes looked around in the classroom and saw Gojo gleaming at you with glee. Meanwhile Shoko and Geto threw the colorful confetti in the air with small welcomes.
“Can you greet me normally?” You growled as you did your best to remove the glitter sprinkles off of your body. “I came back from a suspension not a vacation, you bozo.”
Gojo snaked an arm around your shoulder and gestured to Shoko and Geto, “We missed you so much! Hey, how about a game of cards?” He suggested and you were quick to remove yourself out of his hold. You backed away from him and looked at him weirdly as he rambled on.
Then you looked over at Shoko and Geto’s expression of worry. You could see the trio was concerned about something and you were tempted to use your Shinigami Eye’s to demand the truth. But the classroom door sliding open caught their attention and Masamichi wore a stern look on his face.
“Sit down.” He demanded your three friends like a parent.
You stifled a laugh seeing your friends immediately obey the command. The three of them sat in front of Masamichi waiting for his punishment. You wondered what the hell they got themselves into, but your teacher's attention was drawn to you.
“Welcome back, [Name]. I expect that you worked on keeping Kaiser at bay?” Masamichi asked.
You kneeled down behind Gojo and rolled your eyes, “Alright listen, it took forever to get that booger in line, okay? He’s back to being a juvenile dragon, but I’ll have you know it takes forever for him to age up into an adult. I’m risking my life and others with him at this age.”
Masamichi hummed and sat down on the wooden bench. He raised a hand and landed it roughly on Gojo’s white hair. The said teenager yelped and was pushed to the left by the teacher. “Make some room for her. We are having a conversation,” Masamichi watched Gojo pout and move as instructed. Then you scooted yourself between Gojo and Geto with your hands placed in your lap.
“We agreed that you’ll come back to the school when Kaiser is a baby, not in his teenage years.”
You scoffed and crossed your arms over your chest. Then you glared up at Masamichi, getting a cruel idea in your head, “Kaiser, come out.” The room was engulfed in heavy cursed energy when you summoned your Shinigami, your god of death.
The four students felt heavy breathing down their necks feeling like they would get crushed by its cursed energy alone. Kaiser was naturally a black dragon, but in the light his scales shimmered in all kinds of colors.
He wasn’t that big in his juvenile form, he was the length of the room and half the width of it. While on all fours, Gojo would be able to reach the top of his head. Kaiser wasn’t a dragon with an abnormally long neck. His talons were very sharp and they punctured the wooden floorboard easily.
“Ay! Stop breathing on us, will ya?” You pushed the big snout away from you all with a disgusted look. Kaiser was never one for personal space especially when it came to his favorite humans. You made sure that your shinigami got used to Gojo, Shoko and Geto. They were your closest friends and you went on missions with them a lot.
Kaiser was very fond of Geto though. You two were always paired up because you controlled a dragon and he was the curse eater. Over time, Geto bonded with Kaiser much to Gojo’s dismay.
“No one likes a heavy breather, got it?” Your dragon ignored you and pushed his snout more into your face. Then he gave you his ‘teenage’ attitude.
He growled back and huffed in your face in retaliation. Then you looked at Masamichi raising your brows, “See that? I get a big attitude from him and he refuses to listen to me most of the time! Look!”
You removed your hand from Kaiser's rough chin and began unbuttoning your shirt. “Whoa~Hey! Save that for me!” Gojo shouted and put his hands on yours to stop you from revealing your cleavage. Then he pointed at Geto accusingly shouting, “I saw you looking!”
“You’re clearly blind.” Geto muttered and looked away from what you were trying to show the class.
You had to look up at Gojo with a deadpan expression to catch his attention, “Seriously? I’m not showing my boobs off that much!” you pushed him away and showed everyone your new scar which you got from Kaiser. “I don’t know what’s up with Kaiser, but he refuses to become a baby version of himself. He told me that he grows with his master. And the only time he will be a baby is when I produce a new master for him.”
Gojo awed at the explanation and looked at you with a smile, his playful side showing up, “That means our baby will be the most protected baby on earth! Nice job, Kaiser!” The male teenager praised the dragon and Kaiser let his head dip for the pets he got from his master’s betrothed.
Masamichi sighed and put his head down in disappointment and exasperation. “I don’t know what to do with you two.” He muttered and you and Gojo looked at each other confused.
“Sensei?” You both questioned looking back at Masamichi.
Masamichi stood up and pointed at you and Gojo. “Yes, you two are in a marriage contract with one another. Yes, you two are one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers, but your attitudes are terrible!”
You accepted that fact while Gojo protested for the both of you, “Excuse me, sensei! I think you meant to say that our attitudes are one of a kind!”
“No!” Masamichi argued against it, “One can summon a dragon, but cannot keep it in check. And the other cannot put up a veil!”
“I can put up a veil and hide my tracks.” You muttered with your arms crossed over your unbuttoned shirt.
While Gojo looked away from Masamichi, a pout on his face as he said, “And I can control Kaiser just fine.”
A lightbulb went off in Gojo’s head and he looked at Kaiser with a smirk on his face. “I can ask Kaiser to turn into a baby, but on one condition!” You began glaring daggers at Gojo, your eyes flickering between colors of red, blue and purple.
“And what would that be?” Masamichi asked.
Gojo stood up and patted Kaiser's head of sharp scales, “I will convince him to turn into a baby dragon only if you do not punish me for the veil incident!”
You stood up to your feet and protested his idea, “No way! Kaiser is not some dog! He’s my guardian!” You grabbed Gojo’s forearm and pulled him away from your shinigami. You pushed him back to your friends and Masamichi. You were starting to get really irritated and you couldn’t stop your words from leaving your mouth.
“Also if Kaiser doesn’t want to be a baby dragon then he doesn’t need to be one! He’s a god of death for crying out loud! He’s tamed enough not to kill any of you!”
Your eyes had been flickering between colors and it finally set on one; red.
“Why is everyone so determined to make him revert to being a baby?” You asked and Kaiser walked behind you with his spiky tail flicking side to side like he was waiting for a command to attack. He stood protectively behind you, his eyes were also the color red.
Masamichi exhaled through his nose and stepped up in front of his students to confront you. He looked at you with a serious gaze, “Because we agreed on those terms in order for you to come back to the school. If you continue on to refuse this order then you will be expelled.”
Your face scrunched up in anger and before you could go on another spout, you felt a nudge on your hip. You looked at Kaiser and he nudged you again like he was telling you that it was okay. Yet you still had your doubts.
“Don’t be stubborn, [Name].”
You turned your attention back to your group of friends and it was Geto that spoke up. He was the only one brave enough to talk to you especially when you were stuck in between them and Kaiser. You would totally choose your family over your friends. That was an easy choice.
“I’m not being stubborn, Geto. I just don’t trust the motive of reverting Kaiser back. The reason why he ages with his master is to get them used to the power of his eyes. If he reverts back to a baby, I’m losing his blue, red and green. All I’m left with is orange and yellow, shield projection and honesty. How am I supposed to fight with those techniques? I’ll be a sitting duck for all those that want me dead.”
“It’s only until you teach Kaiser to get in line. You said so yourself that he has trouble listening to you, but I think he’s actually fine with becoming a baby again if you get to stay in school. Plus I’m sure that you’ll be paired up with Satoru or I for missions,” Geto tried his best to reassure you.
You clicked your tongue and crossed your arms over your chest. “I hate you guys,” You said bitterly, looking away from them. Your eyes changed back to their dull black color and you reached your hand out to the curved obsidian horns on Kaiser’s head. “Revert,” You commanded your dragon and plumes of black smoke engulfed his body.
After a few seconds, the smoke dispersed and on the floor was a baby dragon sitting patiently. Kaiser was the size of a newborn human baby. He had no horns and his talons were blunt. His wings were tucked in staring at you expectantly. He let out a soft roar at you and you were taken out of your scary thoughts of dying.
You kneeled down in front of Kaiser and he immediately jumped into your open arms. He snuggled closer to you and yawned, transformations always got him sleepy. Even still, Kaiser was known to be lazy as a baby which was another reason why you didn’t want him at this age.
“I’m going out for some lunch. Don’t bother me or I’ll kill you.”
You threatened and Gojo shouted at you as you walked away from them.
“How can you do that? You don’t have all the colors anymore!”
Shoko slumped her shoulders and exhaled, “You’re not helping.”
……
Masamichi was in a pickle. No, seriously. The mission papers were sitting on his desk in all their terrifying glory. And there was a picture of a junior high school girl attached to those papers.
Riko Amanai.
He couldn’t turn away a special request and he had to choose between his students carefully. Riko Amanai is the younger sister of [Name] Amanai. Their parents died when they were young and they were taken care of by Kuroi who [Name] dubbed as Riko’s guardian.
He rubbed his temple and stood up from his desk. He had to get Gojo and Geto on this mission right away without [Name] knowing. The only real reason why Masamichi put [Name] in the situation of reverting Kaiser to his baby form was because The Elders demanded it so. They needed her to be in her weakest state so that she and her god of death weren’t able to protect Riko from merging with Master Tengen.
But there was a problem with it all. It was the bond between the boys and [Name]. Geto and [Name] will have a strained friendship. Gojo and [Name]’s marriage contract will suffer a huge blow too. She may not even want to go on with marrying the six eyes user.
Luckily for Masamichi, [Name] never used her last name as she always insisted on using her first name to address her. Meaning that when he tells the boys about the mission, they will go on without ever knowing the familial relationship between [Name] and Riko.
He knew this would cause irrevocable damage to [Name]’s mental state and her relationships with everybody. But Riko needed to merge with Master Tengen. Although nothing ever goes as planned.
The power The Elders wanted to seal away for this ceremony was going to be their downfall. The cursed technique [Name] had control over was going to kill everyone involved in her sister's death.

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ꜰɪᴠᴇ: ᴛʜᴇ ᴢᴇɴ'ɪɴ'ꜱ,
The Zen'in's are the first to propose a marriage contract with [Name] [L.Name]. They want strong heirs and other clan leaders will make the same proposal. Satoru also wants his name in the hat! Let's not forget that boisterous male!
Tumblr media
“So you’re still alive?”
[Name] turned her head to the left and saw Naoya Zen’in looking at her with a scary glare. [Name] didn’t know what she did to warrant that look from him or his cruel words. She decided it was best not to question him because the longer she engaged in a conversation with him the more she wanted to gauge her eyes out.
Instead she bowed her head respectfully and greeted him with ease, “Good morning, Zen’in-san.” Her light blue traditional kimono bothered his eyes and he looked away from her beautiful body with a scoff. Naoya wanted her to yell at him for the assassination attempt on her life, but she remained a quiet, respectful woman towards him.
“Now why are you bothering [Name], son?” Naobito walked onto the stone path that led to a meeting room. He was a proud man with a pretty unique technique. [Name] never really had a problem with the older man, but his threats were unsettling at best.
Naoya looked back at [Name] and watched her look at him through his eyes. He always felt a certain attraction towards her when she did this. It felt like she was calling out to him, to hold her and to- “I don’t see why her presence is needed here. The men can heal their wounds normally,” Naoyo got rid of those annoying thoughts and looked back at his father.
Naobito laughed loudly like he did it with his belly. Then he walked up to [Name] and presented his arm for her to take. She did so gingerly and out of respect. “Why heal over a span of a week or month when we have a goddess to heal wounds instantly? You should show her some respect, maybe then she would look at you more with care.”
“I apologize for my rude staring, Zen’in-sama.” [Name] apologized quickly. She didn’t know that Naobito saw her glaring at his son. She should be more careful with observant men like the one holding her arm in his stiff grasp.
Naobito shook his head and sighed, “No, you have all the need to glare at him considering what he tried to do to you.”
[Name] looked up at the older man and hummed, “I have no clue as to what you two are talking about. Naoya-san did mention that he was surprised I was still alive. Now you are giving me permission to rudely stare at him. Please elaborate on what I’m missing here.”
Naoya and Naobito looked at her with surprised looks on their faces. Questions ran amuck in their heads and the men both came to the conclusion that she really doesn’t know about the assassination attempt on her life. Naobito was quick to answer her with a response that caught her off guard, “Ah well, he’s always telling you to jump off a cliff. I hate to say this, but his flirting is lacking therefore making him a tactless person. I’m not sure he’ll get married to anyone if he can’t get a sweet girl like you to fall for him.”
[Name] used her unoccupied arm and lifted her covered hand to her mouth. She giggled into it and looked up at Naobito, “Again, I apologize for my behavior. I am just surprised that you hear all the silly jokes Naoya-san tells me. I think it’s quite funny he wants me to die because he’s going to have to get in line for that.”
“No need to apologize, [Name]. I would refrain from embarrassing him in front of other leaders though. I may be fine with it, but others will not like a woman belittling a man,” Naobito warned her and she instantly bowed her head down in acknowledgement.
“Of course, Naobito-sama.”
“[NAME]-CHAN!”
[Name] lifted her head and turned her body to look behind her. A huge smile erupted on her face as she saw two little girls running her way with their childish grins. She released Naobito’s arm and hugged the little ones that ran into her arms. She squeezed them with love and shook them left and right.
“Mai and Maki, I was wondering where my little ones were!”
Naobito and Naoya watched the woman with the girls; one stared at the scene with curiosity and the other stare was filled with annoyance. The girls laughed in her embrace and she set them back on the stone floor.
“You girls are radiating so much today!” [Name] praised and small flowers bloomed in her hair from pure joy. Pretty colors of bright, blue, pink and yellow made themselves known to the group. In turn, Mai squealed and pointed at the woman’s hair, “You’re growing flowers in your hair again, [Name]!”
The woman blushed and brushed the flowers out of her hair with embarrassed glances at the males behind her. “A-ah, I forget that happens,” She whispered timidly as her fingers ran through her soft locks. The petals fell out easily and slowly fell down to touch the stones.
“We want to hear you sing, [Name].” Maki stated as her sister jumped into the air, nodding her head excitedly. The two girls loved when she visited them because she was nice and she had a pretty voice. She also healed their small souls with her songs.
[Name] was nervous to say the very least. She was here to escort Naobito and Naoya to Jujutsu High on official business. She definitely wasn’t here to sing to little girls and Naoya made that very obvious. “She’s not here to sing a stupid song. You two have no right to be in [Name]’s presence. You’re both useless and you-”
“What song would you like to hear? I think I have an idea of what you both want to hear,” [Name] completely interrupted Naoya leaving the 17 year old stunned. Meanwhile Naobito didn’t like the fact that Maki and Mai were here. He too was going to shun and scold the twins, but [Name]’s voice had an edge to it when she spoke.
Although he knew she spoke gently to the girls, the dagger point was directed at Naoya. He let it slide though because he wanted to get on her good side. He wanted her to marry into the Zen’in Family. He wanted [Name] to produce strong heirs.
Mai and Maki stayed silent, afraid of the backlash they were going to get from their superiors. [Name] took notice of this and reassured them with a smile, “Tell me once again, I could have been anyone, anyone else before you made the choice for me. ”
Mai and Maki looked up at [Name] with surprise etched on their small faces. They were greeted with a happy woman who looked at them with love. She was gentle, she was kind, she was everything they wanted in a mother.
“My feet knew the path, we walked in the dark, in the dark, I never gave a single thought to where it might lead.”
[Name] bobbed her head side to side and took their hands into her own where she twirled them in slow circles. She led them into a slow and careful dance. Their fearful expressions were diminishing by the second.
He’s heard all about her blessed energy, but this felt extremely nice. It felt dangerous how peaceful it was.
“All those empty rooms, we could have been anywhere, anywhere else, instead I made a bed with apathy.”
Naoyo expertly distanced himself away from the trio and their lazy dance, rolling his eyes at the thought of women being pathetic. He never truly saw the beauty of a woman besides her looks.
“My heart knew the weight, ten years worth of dust and neglect, we made our peace with weariness and let it be.”
Meanwhile Naobito was taking in the rise of the blessed aura around [Name]’s body. It was enveloping the children in a warm embrace, it made them forget their threats near them.
Again, this was dangerous. Naobito didn’t like this as he watched the very little cursed energy Mai had…start to disappear.
“The moon will sing a song for me, I loved you like the sun. Bore the shadows that you made, with no light of my own.”
[Name] stuck her right foot out and Mai tripped over it, but [Name] was strong enough to hold the little girl up. The woman dipped the girl down and picked her right up to twirl her again.
“I shine only with the light you gave me, I shine only with the light you gave me.”
Mai giggled as she fell into Maki’s arms and the two girls began to dance with one another in pure bliss. The high school student watched the little girls experience joy and she loved to listen to their sweet laughter.
Out of nowhere, [Name] was grabbed roughly by her arm and thrown across the courtyard. Swiftly, she caught her bearings and gracefully landed on her feet as she slid backwards. She looked up from the floor in surprise and saw Naobito standing protectively in front of the twins from afar.
“Naobito-sama?” [Name] questioned in disarray. She wasn’t sure why she was getting a hostile look from the older man. A piece of her blue kimono sleeve was in his hand and she looked down to see that he truly ripped out a piece when he threw her.
“What did you do to her?” Naobito demanded, his rough hand grasping Mai’s in his tight grip. The poor girl cried out in pain and [Name] stepped forward with a hand out hoping to stop the angry man.
“Hold on, I have no idea what you’re talking about. Please, refrain from harming her. She did nothing wrong.” [Name] begged and looked at the little girl who had tears in her eyes. Maki backed away with one step, but she stopped moving when Mai looked at her with a pleading gaze.
[Name] could see the turmoil in Maki’s eyes and the teenage girl fell to her knees. This would certainly catch the twins' attention, she had hoped for them to follow her lead. Despite being submissive, [Name] knew that this was the only way to calm them down. Naobito growled out and shook Mai as he yelled, “She has no cursed energy now! You completely erased it with your blessed energy! Is this what you did to Maki?”
[Name] looked up from her kneeling position and was stunned. She saw cursed energy around Mai’s body, this was totally confusing the teenager. “Naobito-sama, you are making a scene for no reason. Mai is covered in cursed energy, she always is.” [Name] gestured for Naobito to look at the little girl in his grasp.
The older man glared down at the tearful little girl and saw that [Name] was right. It was the usual amount Mai flowed out meaning that she still had cursed energy. He let go of Mai and scoffed, “I know you did something to her. I don’t want you to sing to them anymore or anyone in the Zen’in Family, do you hear me?”
[Name] nodded her head and stood up to her full height. She lightly brushed the dirt off of her kimono and apologized loudly, “I am sorry for my interruption. I will not do it again, Naobito-sama.”
“That’s the sign for you two to get outta here,” Naoya sneered at the little girls and they ran off together.
[Name] watched them leave silently with sad eyes. All they wanted to do was dance and hear her sing. And all she wanted was to see them happy. ‘This family is truly a curse,’ [Name] reminded herself.
“Now do your job and escort us,” Naobito commanded and [Name] briskly walked up to the males with her head down. She touched Naobito’s elbow and Naoya’s forearm, a bubble formed around their bodies to protect them from her teleportation.
The three of them disappeared within a blink of an eye. The bubbles popped and [Name] left a puddle of petals where she stood. They arrived at the entrance of the school where [Name] saw Suguru and Satoru walking up to them.
Naobito leaned down and whispered in her ear, his words making her body heat up in anger. But being the polite girl she was, she bit her tongue back. His threat replayed in her mind, 'Do your best to not tell them what happened or else the twins will suffer a harsh punishment.’
Satoru and Suguru noticed the disheveled state their friend was in. The sleeve of her left arm was ripped off, her hair was slightly a mess and there was dirt on her pretty kimono where she looked like she was on her knees. This wasn’t the image of her, this was a tainted image that made their blood boil.
“Satoru, do not do anything that can make her suffer for it.” Suguru whispered in a fashion that was more discreet than Naobito’s. His hands were stuffed into his pockets and he slouched as he walked keeping the unbothered look on his face.
Meanwhile Satoru was no longer walking in his relaxed state. Instead he started to size up the males standing on the sides of [Name]’s intimidated form. How could he keep his cool when the girl he was falling for was in a state of-
“Where are you two headed?” [Name] asked, her voice was even and fair. She was holding herself up and Satoru knew for a fact that she was playing along with whatever that old man told her. He stopped in front of the trio with Suguru staying next to him.
“We are going on a mission,” Suguru simply answered.
[Name] tilted her head and looked around for a certain girl, “Shoko isn’t tagging along?”
“The mission only calls for Satoru and I.”
[Name] nodded her head and gestured to the males next to her, “Excuse me, this is Naobito-sama and Naoya-san, they are from the Zen’in Family and they-”
“What happened to your sleeve?”  Satoru interrupted as he stepped forward and took her hand in his. He selfishly turned off his infinity and his fingers dragged up her arm leaving a trail of goosebumps behind. [Name] shivered and was self conscious of everyone’s gazes. Two were looking for answers and the other two were daring her to tell the truth.
“You know the twins I mentioned before? Well we were playing around and my sleeve got caught on a tree branch! It’s actually quite a funny story!” [Name] laughed, but it quickly quieted down when Satoru was looking at her intently. His round glasses slid to the tip of his nose and his piercing baby blue eyes locked with her [e.color] ones.
“I’m sure it is,” He hummed and let go of her arm. He pushed his glasses back to their correction position and he backed up with a few strides. “Well, what is going on with you today?”
[Name]’s heart dropped as she wasn’t expecting Satoru to ask. Normally he would go on his merry way and ask about her day later. They would travel for some sweets and laugh about their silly missions. But this wasn’t a mission. This was her life and she knew he was going to remind her of that.
“Well, you see,” [Name] tried to formulate a sentence that would ease Satoru into listening to her. Although, Naoya had other plans. The future head of the Zen’in Clan stepped up and glared at Satoru. “We are here on official business, but if you must insist on what we are here for then let me be the one to tell you. [Name]’s hand is up for marriage for any of the top sorcerer clan leaders to take.”
“So any of the top clan leaders can drop their name in the hat?” Satoru asked curiously with a hand under his chin.
Naoya looked at the white haired male as if he was dumb, “Of course they can, did you not just hear me?”
Satoru smirked and put his hands on his hips, “Well that is a damn good thing to hear because I want to be the one to marry her!” He laughed at the faces of the trio and Suguru shook his head with a smirk. This wasn’t going to get her in trouble, it was going to unsettle the other clan leaders fighting to be her husband though.
“A-ah, Satoru, you cannot just say that!” [Name] scolded her friend with a blush on her face.
Satoru playfully shrugged his shoulders and decided to make Naoyo look like a fool one more time, “What~ We already danced together under the stars and shared-”
“Alright that’s enough out of your mouth, Please excuse us,” Suguru expertly covered Satoru’s mouth and began dragging his friend away from the stupefied trio. Satoru waved at [Name] then blew her a kiss, “I’ll miss you, my love!”
“Stop talking, you idiot.” Suguru growled out and they were finally out of sight.
Naobito looked down at the shy teenage girl and questioned her, “What was he going on about? Dancing under the stars and what else?”
[Name] cleared her throat and began walking towards the faculty building with the males following after her, “Don’t listen to that bickering male. We should all know by now, Satoru likes to get under the skin of people to rile them up. We fell for it, so we aren’t any better than he is.”
“You promise that you aren’t tainted by that bumbling fool?” Naobito asked, he was suspicious of the relationship between the girl and boy now. He was sure that the Gojo leader wouldn’t fall for anyone considering that the male is so full of himself.
[Name] was taken back by Naobito’s questioned and answered him truthfully, “I promise that I have not engaged in intercourse with anyone outside of a marriage. I don’t plan to either. I will remain loyal to my future husband.”
“I will send in a request for a doctor to do a check up on you. I want to make sure you aren’t lying. All the prospects will be there to see it.”
“Of course, Naobito-sama.”
[Name] cursed at Satoru silently for making a fool out of her. Now she has to visit a doctor to feel her hymen. What a disturbing moment for her! And it has to be seen by old men along with Naoya!
‘Satoru, I hate you!’
>>>>>>>
I switched up the Zen'in-san with Naoya-san and Zen'in-sama to Naobito-sama because it was easier to distinguish them.
Song credit goes to The Moon Will Sing by The Crane Wives
Naobito did want to get on [Name]'s good side, but he royally messed it up by laying a hand on her.
Yes, Mai and Maki saw [Name] as a mother figure, I mean she is great with children! Ah, I cannot wait to write out her beginning relationship with Megumi!!

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ꜰᴏᴜʀ: ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀᴅꜱ ꜱᴀɪᴅ
[Name] should have kept her mouth shut. Now she lost an important person figuratively speaking. Everything was moving too fast and she was left behind with the mission to protect her brother and the Eldians. She's never drinking again.
Tumblr media
[Name] released Levi and slumped back into the cushion of the booth. Her eyes skimmed over her drink which only had one sip left inside of it. She grabbed the mug and allowed herself to indulge in that small amount of liquid.
She swallowed thickly and said, “I hold power of one of the nine titans. It can make structures and weapons with the hardening ability.” [Name] looked at Levi and hummed, “Right, hardening is like armor or crystallization. It’s much stronger than the Armored Titan’s ability though. So I’m basically impenetrable.”
“Stop talking,” Levi whispered to warn her.
[Name] sighed and put the mug back on the table, “Do you believe me or not?”
“I’m not sure if I want to believe you. I’m not sure what to do with the information right now.” Levi gave her a side glance and watched her hands rub together. The woman shrugged her shoulders and pressed her lips into a thin line. She was thinking and Levi didn’t like that she was.
A drunk [Name] leads to very bad-
“I’ll just show you a small party trick for you to believe me,” Her hands pulled apart, but as the space between them gradually got bigger something was being materialized. His eyes widened a fraction before he grabbed her hands and forced them under the table. His face was dangerously close to her as he harshly whispered, “Do you have any idea of what you’re doing?”
[Name] looked at him dumbly and looked down at her hands, one of which held a dagger made of crystallization. “Well, yeah, “She responded nonchalantly, “I just made a dagger with my titan ability. Here, you can examine it.”
“Stop messing around, [Name],” Levi gripped her wrist tighter and looked down at the entirely white dagger. He glared at her and the weapon demanding her, “Get rid of it.”
[Name] looked at him with annoyance and scoffed, “Are you listening, Levi? This is important information. This - this!” She waved the dagger in front of his face, “is made with my hardening ability. If I’m impenetrable because of the hardening ability, it means that this dagger cannot be destroyed. At least, to my knowledge.”
“Is this all a joke to you?” Levi was not in a mood to fool around with a drunk woman declaring that she’s some kind of titan shifter. He wasn’t in the mood to deal with her right now. She was being a reckless idiot.
“Not at all, I only want you to understand my ability. I want you to know that I can shift into a titan.” She admitted truthfully with her full attention to him. “I can’t do this alone, I need someone to help me get through the plan.”
“What plan?” He questioned.
“The plan to save humanity as we know it.”
“Why did you tell me? Erwin…even shitty glasses would be more helpful than I ever can be. One knows about titans more than a normal human being would and the other is driven by curiosity. I’m a fighter, [Name]. I’m the one that kills titans, I don’t help them.”
The words left his mouth so quickly, his brain didn’t register what he said until his eyes landed on a very troubled [Name]. Her breath hitched in her throat and she looked away from him quickly. She knew she was drunk, she could feel the fuzziness all over her body. Yet, the quickest way to sober her up was Levi’s blunt way of saying, I can’t help you. I’m the one they call to kill you.
She looked over at her sleeping siblings and the instinct to protect them washed over her. If Levi was going to betray her, now was the time. Her siblings were vulnerable as well as herself. Her most trusted comrade, the one she started to develop feelings for, was…was not a helper. He was a killer.
“And welcome to our seventh round of the most amazing beer we ever had!” Hanji slammed two overfilled mugs on the table with a giant grin on her face.
Levi watched [Name] slip the dagger up her sleeve and greet Hanji and Erwin with the fakest smile he’s ever seen. “Geez, guys! You took forever! I was starting to get really thirsty! Anyways, let’s get this round over!” [Name] jumped on the table and raised her glass high in the air.
She called for everyone’s attention and they all cheered her name out loud when they saw the happy energy radiating off of her. “I believe it’s time for a song! Let’s sing out loud for those we have lost! Whether they were lost in sickness, in expeditions, in patrols, or most recently during the Fall of Shiganshina! I raise my cup for my mother! For all the citizens I couldn’t save!”
She takes three huge gulps of the liquid and hands the mug to Hanji who sets the half filled mug on another table. She wiped her mouth with her arm and she cleared her throat.
“I raise my cup for my brother!”
“I raise my cup for my comrades!”
“We raise our cups for the citizens of Shiganshina!”
“For your mother!”
Random people in the crowd shouted together and [Name] softly smiled at them. This time, Levi noted, this one was genuine. “Alright now, I’m going to end the night for myself with a song. Annnnd~” [Name] began searching in the crowd for her singing partner, Kaiser.
“Over here, [N.Name]!” A voice shouted and [Name] pointed at the man that jumped on another table with a musical instrument in his arms, the amazing banjo. He was a few tables away with a happy grin on his face. [Name] took time to remember what was created in Marley and introduced amazing recipes and instruments to Paradis.
“Ah, my loyal Kaiser! Alright, where is Faith and Donny? I need drums and violin for this song!” She shouted and she heard a squeal of laughter come from Faith as she was lifted in the air by her partner. He set her on the table and she stood up with a blush on her face taking her violin and bow from her partner. She was a shy one, but she could play the violin like a professional. Then Donny banged on his basic drums by the bar announcing his presence.
“Now that my crew is ready, I want you all to sing with me! It’s a very well known song! Let’s do it, let’s sing Bitter Water!”
The crowd cheered and [Name] took the extra banjo from a helpful customer. She put the strap around her and began plucking the notes, Kaiser joining her. Bitter Water was an appreciated song by the pub’s visitors. Everyone sang with her and Kaiser and the crew played their hearts out with smiles on their faces.
[Name] let Faith take over the singing with Kaiser then she hopped off the table giving the banjo back to the person that gave it to her earlier. She moved past Levi silently and woke up Eren and Mikasa telling them that it was time to leave. She put Eren on her back as he examined the crowd singing loudly, Bitter Water was on repeat now. The night was going to be long for these people.
The melody and lyrics were stuck in Eren’s head as he laid it on [Name]’s shoulders. Then Mikasa was carried in [Name]’s arms, the little girl resting her head on the unoccupied shoulder. The song was bittersweet for the little girl and her eyes scanned the joyful, tired eyes belonging to Eren.
“We can help you, [Name]!” Hanji shouted over the music and singing.
[Name] shook her head and began walking through the crowd with her siblings holding onto her tightly. “It’s okay, I’ll see you guys after I get everything situated! Don’t miss me too much!” She glanced at Levi one last time and gave him a sorrowful smile. She didn’t know if this was goodbye or not. She hadn’t decided what to do and it scared her. But she also knew that Levi hadn’t decided his course of action either.
They were both lost.
Levi looked away from her gaze and when a few seconds went by, he looked back to see drunk people singing and spilling their drinks everywhere in her place.
“I know I shouldn’t love you, but I do!” Hanji’s out of tune voice sang with the crowd bringing Levi back to reality. He had to inform Erwin and Hanji about [Name]’s ability to shift. They needed to talk to her about what she knows. It was important that her secret came to light now. If it didn’t and she transforms without notifying the higher ups, she could be as good as dead.
Meanwhile with [Name], her siblings insisted that they could walk home with her. The stars and moon illuminated their path and the atmosphere was warm. Mikasa was lightly humming the melody from the pub while Eren sang the song from time to time.
“You’ll bury me beneath the tree I climbed when I was a child.”
The woman looked down at her brother and he was currently bobbing his head to the melody Mikasa hummed. She stopped walking and they stopped with her and she gestured to the two story home she was standing in front of. “Welcome to your new home, Eren and Mikasa. I’ll make sure to look for Armin and his grandfather tomorrow, okay?”
“Can we come with you?” Eren asked.
[Name] shook her head and said, “No, it’ll be a quick trip. I don’t want you two getting lost. I promise I will get them back here. Now please, let’s go inside.” She walked ahead of them and unlocked the front door with a bronze key. She opened the door for them and Eren was the first to walk in followed by Mikasa.
The house was huge in Eren’s eyes and he was amazed by how much she had achieved. She grabbed their hands gently and began leading them into a room, their new room. Their room had two small twin beds parallel from each other.
“I knew that at some point you two would visit me when I had the time so I made a room for you both. However, when Armin comes, Mikasa will move into a different room. I will be working hard to make it, so don’t worry.” She gave Mikasa’s head a teasing pat because the little girl was blushing lightly.
Then she watched the two kids walk to their respective beds. Eren took the right one and Mikasa laid in the left one. She kissed Mikasa’s forehead and whispered sweet words towards her. Then [Name] made her way to Eren’s side and gave him the same affection.
“That song was cliche, you know?” Eren told her directly and [Name] couldn’t help, but laugh at his statement. The boy climbed into the bed with the sheets going over his body.
“May have been cliche because it’s kind of a love song, Eren. You’ll understand when you get older, it was made for-” [Name] straightened out her back and hummed. “It was made for someone, I don’t know. A lot of the people ask me to write songs for their loved ones, friends, enemies. I don’t remember who asked me to sing Bitter Water.”
Eren gave her a skeptical look and said, “People get you to sing songs for them? That’s even more cliche.”
“Eren, weren’t you singing the song when we were walking home?” Mikasa interjected, her eyes directed at the ceiling.
The flustered boy sat up in his bed and pointed at Mikasa accusingly, “That’s because you were humming the melody! And it got stuck in my head!”
“It’s not bad to request a song, Eren, or to get it stuck in your head. I wrote a song based on our father’s feelings once and well, of course I gave the lyrics for my friend Kaiser to sing it. It comes better out of a man's mouth to convey a man’s feelings.” She laughed at Eren’s baffled expression and began to walk towards the door.
“When can we hear that song? I want to know!” Eren shouted and she only shook her head.
[Name] stopped at the door and turned around, “Eren, you let me know when you want to go back to the pub to listen to that song. I will get Kaiser to sing it, okay? But right now, let’s all rest. I’m so tired.”
Eren looked at her body then to her [e.color] eyes which usually had golden freckles, but they were so dull now. He nodded his head and she closed the door to their room leaving him with Mikasa. He laid down on the bed, his head resting onto the pillow. “Hey, Mikasa.” Eren called out to the girl, “did you see the look in [Name]’s eyes? I think something is wrong.”
Mikasa responded, turning her body towards him, “She blames herself for not saving your mother. She was accused by military officials of abandonment. She was put on trial and it all happened in two days. I think that in her eyes, everything is falling apart. Everything is wrong.”
The little girl’s eyes were getting heavier. Her body was exhausted emotionally and somewhat physically. Like her older sister figure, all Mikasa wanted to do was sleep. She barely got enough at the pub. Unlike Eren, she couldn’t exactly sleep with all that noise.
Also, Mikasa may have pretended to sleep as [Name] told Levi an important secret. This little girl was smart enough not to blab it out to other people though. She wouldn’t want [Name] to be in any danger.
Eren turned away from Mikasa’s attracting gaze and sighed. An image flashed of his mother being grabbed by the smiling titan and [Name] walking away with a tearful expression on her face. The way she clenched her hands and that gaze of sadness turned into a scornful one. Eren could feel her anger and it was passed on to him. He wanted to kill all titans.
“Yeah, you’re right. Everything is wrong.”
……
“Everything is wrong.”
[Name] told herself as she gripped her head in between her hands.
“Why did you tell him? He won’t help you, he can’t.” She groaned and smacked her forehead on her desk. She finally let the tears fall onto her lap as she cried for everything that had happened. “You’re alone in all of this.”
Sobs broke out as she used the sleeves of her jacket to wipe at them furiously. [Name] needed to come up with a new plan. Her father must have heard the news, he must have known that the Warriors have infiltrated Paradis. She had to think of a new plan because he was going to be gone soon.
She needed to-
Bap! Tap! Tap!
[Name] jumped up from her seat and looked out her window where the noise came from. She looked down to see a disheveled man in her small backyard. She squinted some more then she immediately ran out of her office. She swiftly made her way downstairs and passed the kids room to make way to the backyard door.
She opened it up and saw the man at her door with a fearful look in his eyes.
[Name] invited the man in, his titan scars beneath his eyes had her confused. She had so many questions, but he was the first to speak again. “Where are Carla, Eren and Mikasa?”
“Dad, you need to calm down. Eren and Mikasa are sleeping right now. I put them to bed 20 minutes ago.” She pointed over to the closed bedroom door where the children were indeed sleeping. Then she looked at the floor, “Carla was eaten by a titan during the fall.” She was definitely going to hold back what- no, who ate her. Her father was fragile and it looked like he just went through hell.
“I need to pass down the Attack Titan tonight. You need to hand over Eren,” Grisha demanded and [Name] was having none of it.
“Are you serious? You can’t do that to Eren. We agreed that I would inherit the Attack Titan.” She pushed Grisha away from the path to the door. His eyes were frantic and he shook his head, “You cannot inherit the Attack Titan anymore. You just can’t.”
He walked past her and she quickly grabbed his wrist to stop him. A flash of memories infiltrated her mind and she immediately let him go. She blinked a few times and shook her head, “You defeated the Founder, you ate the Founder? But why? How could you do that?”
Grisha looked at his only daughter and tears pricked his eyes, “He forced me. He forced me to kill all of The Reiss family and claim the Founder. I had no choice!” He whispered with a scared expression. “We don’t have time, [Name]. I need Eren to inherit the power. And I need you to watch over him. Can you do that?”
[Name] stared at her father dumbfounded before slowly nodding her head. “I understand, I just…I’m going to be all alone now. I was hoping to look to you for guidance, but now you’re-”
Grisha ran into her and hugged her body tightly. “I love you, [Name].” He told her. His hand holding the back of her head. “You have always been so strong and I’m sorry that I separated you from Zeke. I’m sorry we made you inherit the War Hammer Titan. I want to explain everything to you, but I do not have time. Will you please forgive me?”
He looked down at her, still holding onto her. The golden flecks in her [e.color] eyes flickered with the tears covering them. He watched her blink them away and she returned the hug back, “Of course, I forgive you. I’ll watch over him, I promise.”
The events that transpired went by in a blur. A sleeping Eren was carried out of her house by their father. Shadis accompanied Grisha into a carriage waiting outside and she waved them goodbye. She waited for two hours for Shadis to deliver Eren back to her. Then she laid the sleeping boy back into his bed.
[Name] didn’t sleep a wink. She couldn’t find a peace of mind to do so. When it was dawn, she dressed up in a white blouse, light beige pants and a white cardigan. Then she walked into the kitchen to prepare herself a cup of tea to wake her up. She sat by the kitchen sink looking out to her backyard watching the leaves of her apple tree sway in the gentle breeze.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
[Name] set her cup down and walked over to the front door being greeted by Hanji and surprisingly Levi. “Good morning, songbird! Where are the kiddos?” Hanji shouted and looked into the house, seeing it pretty empty.
[Name] pushed their head out the door and said, “They are still sleeping. Mikasa will wake up soon, although I think Eren will be out for a while.” Assuming that he wakes up groggily like she did when she inherited the War Hammer Titan.
“Levi, are you babysitting with Hanji too?” [Name] asked the soldier with one raised brow.
Levi rolled his eyes and bit back, “Since when do I babysit? I’m not here for them, I’m here for you.”
“Oh,” [Name] said and looked at Hanji who was grinning, “what is it?”
“Ah, he was so worried about you! We all know I don’t wake up early and he never sleeps, so he caught me sneaking out of the base asking me where I was going. I told him that I was helping you by watching over Eren and Miaksa while you looked for their friend! He wants to join you!”
[Name] shook her head and said, “I don’t need help with that. I only needed someone to watch over-”
“Just get in the carriage, [Name].” Levi ordered and walked towards the transportation means.
[Name] sighed defeatedly and opened the door wider for Hanji to come through. The mad scientist walked in and she had to ask her friend what happened between her and Levi. “So what was said when Erwin and I went to get more drinks?”
“Huh?” [Name] looked away from the polished floor to her unusually concerned friend.
Hanji shrugged her shoulders and said, “You and Levi, it’s pretty tense between you guys.”
“Oh…that,” [Name] hummed and waved her hand, “I may have confessed to Levi and well, he doesn’t feel the same way.”
“You what? He what?” Hanji loudly whispered and grabbed [Name] by the shoulders, “How did you confess? Why wouldn’t he accept your feelings? You’re like the prettiest scout and the strongest! Everyone loves you! You can sing, play the piano, you’re fun!”
[Name]’s expression changed into a bittersweet one and said, “Sometimes the truth is hard to handle. I don’t think Levi can handle my…charm.” [Name] put that lightly. Turning into a titan wasn’t a charming trait. Now she knows that for future references.
“Pah! Whatever! You know, Kaiser is still single and-”
“I don’t have all day,” Levi’s voice came from the open front door, his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes set into a glare of annoyance.
Hanji let go of [Name] and pretended like they weren’t talking behind his back.
“Please take care of them, Hanji. They are all I have left,” [Name] said sadly.
Hanji noticed her look and the woman pointed at her and Levi, “You have us too, okay? No matter what.”
No matter what…[Name] internally scoffed at Hanji’s kind statement. If only that were true. She thought Levi would be on her side. But he proved her wrong by saying he kills titans. ”Right,” [Name] nodded her head at Hanji to give her friend a peace of mind.
She knows this ride with Levi was going to be a very awkward one. And he didn’t care for atmospheres like it. He was a blunt and honest man. Something she had no problem with until now.
>>>>>>>
Little notes: - Drunk [Name] recognizes that she screwed up telling the truth about her ability. - [Name] fears that Levi will betray her now. - Levi did not mean to tell [Name] that he would kill her. That was bad on his part. - Yes, this story will have moments of "what the hell did I just read?". - Lowkey didn't want [Name] to confess, then I remembered how Reiner straight up told Eren the truth on the wall. And yeah, I want that honesty lmao - Yes, Levi will be OOC, I'm sorry for that. He's very difficult to write for. - Bitter Water is a song by The Oh Hellos. I do not take credit for that. - Also the song for Grisha is inspired by Just a Man by the EPIC Troy Saga - Y'all notice the lyrics Eren sang while walking home? That hurt my soul. - Yes, Mikasa knows [Name] is a titan shifter, but she's no snitch. > Thank you for the likes and reblogs!

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ: ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʟᴀɴ
[Name] and Levi may have confessed in a very, very subtle way about their feelings for one another. While the alcohol and cheesy bread made the young woman confess a dangerous truth to him. What. The. Hell.
Tumblr media
Erwin was intrigued with her story.
Although it left a scar on his subordinate, he found her so powerful. A woman had granted citizens to flee with minutes other soldiers couldn’t even dare to do so. She had the willpower and strength to kill 27 titans and that wasn’t including the assists she had with other soldiers. Questions ran through his mind, [Name]’s words going in one ear and being retained in his memory.
She told this story in detail, not missing a beat. Nothing was exaggerated or fabricated. [Name]’s eyes were hard glued onto him as if he was the only one in the carriage. She held herself in a straightened posture, not a proud one. But one that made her seem confident.
“I had the strength to kill that smiling titan. I really did, but my mother pushed me out of my suicide plan. She scolded me like I was a child again. She begged me to take care of my siblings, not to allow any harm to come their way.”
Erwin blinked and nodded his head, “Yes, it seems that’s what any parent would demand in a situation like hers.”
“She didn’t want to die.” [Name] broke eye contact and looked outside the carriage window. Her [e.color] eyes were starting to water. “She may have wanted to save me and my siblings, but she also wanted to live.”
Erwin and Levi did not ask what she meant by that. They knew that if they did, [Name] would have shed the tears that wanted to drain from her eyes. Although, they forget how emotionally strong she was. [Name] cleared her throat and the tears dried up in her eyes.
“She tried to cover her mouth and muffle her pleas. Yet I heard her. She said “Don’t leave me here”. I don’t think I will ever live that down. I could have saved her, I know I could have.”
“But you didn’t,” Levi bluntly said, his arms crossing over his chest, “your mother knew you couldn’t do it, that’s why she stopped you. What good are you to her if you are dead? You would have risked your life fighting on a ground with a titan? You and I both know how dangerous it is to challenge that.”
“You don’t know that feeling, Levi,” [Name] snapped a glare at him, “I had the power to do it.”
Erwin was left with more questions. Why was [Name] reiterating the ‘power” she has? What does she mean by that? Was there a skillset she was hiding away?
[Name] noticed the analyzing look in Erwin’s eyes and she backed down. Her eyes softened and she put a weak smile on. Her right hand touching her forehead as she apologized, “I’m sorry, it seems that the guilt is eating me away. Everything fell apart so fast and I haven’t heard about the whereabouts of my father either. Now I’m left to find a guardian for my family.”
“We can arrange something for them,” Erwin suggested, but [Name] waved her hand in a dismissive way.
“Ah there’s no need to do that. My current home is more than enough for Armin’s grandfather to take care of them. However, I can’t let an elderly person do all the babysitting.” She chuckled and reclined into her seat, that confident posture melting away.
Her shoulders relaxed and her eyes were downcasted.
“It’s been a rough two days for you, [Name],” Erwin obviously stated, “So we’re going to give you a week off to settle your family down. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to let us know. You and your family deserve some peace.”
[Name] silently thanked the man and looked over at Levi. He was giving her a death glare and she knew he was waiting for an apology. But she was stubborn enough not to give it to him in front of Erwin.
The carriage pulled to a stop and the trio walked out with Erwin first, [Name] second and Levi last. The woman watched her siblings carefully like she was waiting to hear another lightning strike. Her fight mode never turned off now that the Warriors were officially in Paradis.
She only saw the Armored and Colossal Titan. No sign of the others. That didn’t mean they weren’t here though.
“Oi, you know what I said back then was to-“
“Yeah, I’m sorry Levi,” [Name] turned around and looked at her most trusted comrade. They were a little more than that, but they never truly spoke about their relationship with one another. “I didn’t mean to snap at you. It’s just that those were the last words I heard from her. I won’t forget them.”
Levi hummed and said, “We never forget anything that happens on the battlefield. Don’t let it hinder your thinking. A cloudy mind leads to a shitty death. I don’t want you to die.”
[Name] smiled and elbowed Levi in the ribs gently, “It’s nice to know that you do show a caring side from time to time.”
The man grimaced and pushed her away from him. He sighed and shook his head, “Don’t start with that. We both know that I care about you. So you should know that your mother didn’t want to die, but she didn’t want you to meet the same fate as her.”
Levi looked away and watched the kids talk to Erwin and Hanji. His words are soft and clear, “I know that if I was a dad to some brat, I would risk my life to save them. At any cost.”
[Name]’s eyes widened in realization when two things came to the light. One: Levi was openly expressing his feelings. Two: Levi was talking about a hypothetical kid. Since when did Levi talk about a family?
Was it that night when they talked under the stars last week?
“Say Levi, there’s something I need to tell you.” [Name]’s heart was racing so fast right now. The arrival of the Warriors, the Fall of Shiganshina, her parents gone. She wanted to tell the truth about why everyone was behind these walls. She wanted to tell him that in those walls are hundreds and hundreds of colossal titans waiting for their moment to trample the world.
“I don’t think it’s wise for me to do this, but I need someone like you to be my trusted comrade. Can you do that for me?” He was already a trusted comrade, they had established that a long time ago. But she needed reassurance so badly. The Eldians were exposed to the Armored and Colossal titan. If she were to show them her own titan, they would deem her a traitor. She needed Levi to know that she was on his side, The Scouts, etc.
Levi looked at her expression of desperation and looked over to see Hanji and Erwin indulging a play time with Eren and Mikasa. They were kicking around a small ball and laughing in harmony. Then he looked back at her, his silver metal eyes looking deeply into her own. “I’ll be whoever you want me to be, don’t forget that.” His answer was more than she needed and she relaxed her tense body.
Something bumped into the side of his boot and he looked down at it. “Levi, pass it over to us!” Hanji yelled and waved her hands. He rolled his eyes and with the tip of his boot, he flicked the ball upwards launching it over to the group.
“What were you-”
“[Name], Eren and I are starving! I know little Mikasa is too, but she won’t admit it! I think she’s shy!” Hanji yelled again, catching their attention.
“Hmm, I guess I’ll have to tell you some other time, Levi. I hope you don’t think differently of me when I do. And I hope that you will still trust me.” She gave him a nervous smile and walked past him to greet her other family. She scooped a definitely shy Mikasa in her arms and let Eren hold onto her jacket. He followed after her with the sun setting on their forms.
When [Name] walked into the pub, everyone greeted her with smiles and kind gestures. She was well known in this pub for various reasons. She had a great singing voice, she was fun to drink with and a great fighter. All of these three events usually happen in one night. A barmaid brought her and her group to the usual table which was round and huge. It fit her party well and she set Mikasa down on the floor so the little girl could sit next to Eren.
Everyone got into their seats with Eren and Mikasa sitting inside of the booth. Hanji was next to Mikasa and [Name] was on Eren’s side. Then Erwin sat next to Hanji while Levi was comfortably by [Name]’s side. The barmaid brought over three large glass mugs filled with beer, a cup of black tea and two small glasses of juice and set them on the table.
[Name] handed Eren and Mikasa their drinks telling them to be careful with the glass. Eren quickly drank his portion of the juice and jumped up on his knees. “What is this? It’s freaking yummy!” Eren looked at [Name] for answers and the barmaid laughed as she brought out a small canister to refill his empty glass.
“It’s called apple juice, honey! Here have some more!”
Eren let her take his glass and watched the light orange liquid fill it up. Then he looked over at his big sister’s drink and he looked at her with a dead look, “You’re not giving us beer are you?”
Upon hearing his accusing question, Mikasa choked on her apple juice and began coughing it up. Hanji helped the little girl out while all the adults laughed and chuckled besides Levi. [Name] waved her hands and laughed as she explained, “Eren, it’s juice from apples! We are not serving you or Mikasa beer!”
Eren sat down and pouted, “I never know! You used to be really shady back then!”
[Name] rolled her eyes in response and went back to telling the barmaid an order for cheesy bread. As the adults drank and the kids were stuffing their mouths full, the pub was getting more jam packed. Music was playing loudly and the hours seemed to have flown by. The trio that was drinking were having an intellectual conversation about more strategies for expeditions while the silent one of the group just listened.
The kids were fast asleep with full bellies. Eren had his head tilted back with his mouth open, little snores escaping every few seconds. Mikasa had her head resting on Eren’s shoulder and she used her scarf as a pillow. [Name]’s jacket was draped over them and they slept as peacefully as they could in a loud pub.
“It’s not surprising that they can sleep in a place like this!” Hanji laughed and hit Erwin on the arm repeatedly, “that means we can have one more round! Erwin, go butter that pretty barmaid of ours!”
“Yes, one more round then it’s bedtime!” [Name] happily agreed with the mad scientist.
Levi looked at Erwin with a glare saying ‘no more rounds, let me go home’. The commander didn’t want to ruin a good night, so he pulled a squealing Hanji with him to get that round. They excused themselves into the crowd and Levi and [Name] were alone.
This was his moment, Levi thought. He could finally find out what [Name] wanted to tell him. Sure, she was more than tipsy, yet he knew he could still get the answer from her.
“What is it that you want to discuss outside?”
Levi turned his attention back to [Name] and she cleared her throat. She leaned up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him into an unexpected hug. She was making it seem like he was comforting her like he always did after missions. Yet this was just a distraction, so no one would question them for having a serious conversation in the pub.
The smell of alcohol smacked him in the face, but not as hard as her whisper of a truth he didn’t think would be told.
“I have the power to shift into a titan. Like the ones that made Shiganshina fall. I am the War Hammer Titan.” She pulled away and looked him right into his eyes, their noses barely graced one another. His mouth smelled like tea and he replied back breathlessly, “You have to be shitting me.”
