The Law of Diminishing Returns
The most important rule of time management, (and of economics) goes under two different names.
80 - 20 rule.
The law of diminishing returns.
The two rules (or laws), mean the same thing: namely, that "more is not necessarily better".

“How to win friends and influence people" The following quote is the essence of the book: “There is one all-important law of human conduct. If we obey that law, we shall almost never get into trouble. In fact, that law, if obeyed, will bring us countless friends and constant happiness. But the very instant we break the law, we shall get into endless trouble. The law is this: Always make the other person feel important.”

Define Your Key Terms
It is important to specify the meaning of any ill-defined, or ambiguous word, or phrase.
To some degree, almost all words are vague and ambiguous. There are thousands of words and phrases that are often used, but ill-defined.
I would like to draw to your attention, that we have a problem when we use words and phrases that are often used, but ill-defined:
Often used, but ill-defined words and phrases, cause problems.
They cause problems because we think we know what we mean when we utter them, but under closer examination we discover that our words and phrases are not as clear to us as we first thought.

Five common time management mistakes and how to fix them.
Time management training is about how to spend your time doing only the most important things.
The most important things are those things that relate specifically to the achievement of your Major Definite Purpose.
Your major definite purpose is the long range valuable goal that you want to achieve.
Good time management training means doing only those things that will take you closer and closer to your long range valuable goal.
Time management training also means, STOP doing things that don't contribute directly to the achievement of your goals.

Confidence is important because how you feel in any situation will affect how you act.
If you are feeling confident, then you are more likely to take effective action.
If you are lacking confidence, then you are much less likely to take effective action.
Confident people tend to perform better than those who lack confidence.
The question we need to answer is: How can you develop more confidence?
Here is a list of things you can do:
Monitor your self-talk.
Learn more and become an expert relative to the other people around you.
Be prepared to act, even in the face of uncertain or incomplete knowledge.
Don't be afraid of criticism.
Let us say a few words on each.

Before success comes in any man’s life, he is sure to meet with much temporary defeat, and, perhaps, some failure. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and most logical thing to do is to quit. That is exactly what the majority of men do. More than five hundred of the most successful men this country has ever known told the author their greatest success came just one step beyond the point at which defeat had overtaken them. An educated man is not, necessarily, one who has an abundance of general or specialized knowledge. An educated man is one who has so developed the faculties of his mind that he may acquire anything he wants, or its equivalent, without violating the rights of others.

Management training is essential because your organisation needs well-trained managers.
In any field of endeavour, people who are well-trained, will almost always outperform those who are NOT well trained. An untrained person will always lose to a well-trained person. Why? Because good training allows a person to bypass the problems associated with trial and error learning.
Many people learn their management skills through years of trial and error. Which is okay, but trial and error learning is inefficient, costly and often painful. It is painful to have to learn lessons by correcting errors and mistakes.
It would be better to 'Do It Right First Time' and you can only do it right first time if you are properly trained.
Managers Need to be Properly Trained
In order to deal with the challenges of everyday life as a manager, every manager needs to be proficient in these six skills:
Set a clear purpose or goal.
Communicate their message clearly.
Plan ahead and prioritise.
Handle conflict and negotiate.
Inspire themselves with a positive mental attitude.
Inspire others to act in cooperation with their goal and their plan.
The following diagram describes the best approach to teaching leadership and management skills.

The mind is incredible. Once you have gained mastery over it by channelling its powers positively for your purposes, you can do anything. The secret is to make your mind work for you- not against you. This means constantly being positive, constantly setting challenges that you can meet, either today, next week or next year. I can’t, should be stricken, permanently, from your vocabulary; especially the vocabulary of your thoughts. You should see yourself always as growing and improving.

Whenever you read the news or watch TV you are faced with the fact that the world is always in a state of change.
There are always changes on the way:
Political changes
Economic changes
Social changes
These changes may affect you and your organisation and the effects of these changes will be either positive or negative.
Whether the effects are positive or negative will be mostly down to how well your organisation manages the change:
Effective change management is about profiting from change.
Ineffective change management is about suffering the consequences.

I would like to give you some tips on how to make a good first impression.
On meeting someone, do the following things:
Look right into their eye; give direct eye contact.
As you look into their eye; smile gently.
Hold-out your hand; make an invitation to shake hands.
As you shake hands, if you are strangers, give your first name and ask for theirs.
Immediately use their name and ask them how they are: "Hi Sam, nice to meet you. How are you today?"
Keep the conversation going by asking easy-to-answer questions.
Listen more than you speak.
Keep the conversation about current events and optimistic futures.
Don't complain or condemn, nor criticise anyone.
Keep an eye on the feedback results your actions are creating and make the necessary changes.
Let us elaborate a little on each point: https://corporatecoachgroup.com/blog/make-a-good-first-impression
