continuing with my series of axis fynamics, if you haven’t read the previous part, you can read it here i’ve already talked about how i see oppositions as two opposite ends of the very same thing, as two sides of one coin, and how they are more about balancing and completing each other rather than opposing forces that are fighting. soooo, today let’s talk about aries-libra axis!

aries-libra line is a true representation of masculine vs feminine, yang and yin, bc basically aries is a martian sign and libra is a venusian one. if you’re into greek mythology, you probably already know about Mars and Venus relationships - they were lovers deeply keen on each other, and even had children, which are Eros, Anteros, Harmonia, as well as Demios and Phobos. stay with me here, bc imo understanding of this axis is closely linked to mythology.

first two brothers rule over love: Eros is the god of passionate love and sexual desire, and Anteros is, on the other hand, the god of rational and required love. second two bros are heavily contrasting with first ones, being the rulers of fear (Phobos) and terror (Demios). and also, there is a sister Harmonia, which (you may have already guessed) is the goddes of harmony and concord. do you notice a pattern here?

Mars (Ares) - the god of cruel war, fighting and everything related to agressive masculine (which also includes motivation and libido) and Venus (Aphrodite) - the goddes of love and beauty, which also was able to change her looks to charm and seduce whoever. and those two completely opposing forces - the undomitable forceful warrior and a magnificent and flexible goddes of beauty gave birth to gods of extremes and a goddes of harmony and balance.

now lets return to zodiacal archetypes: aries is a sign of self. It’s a sign of beginnings, where one usually is full of hotheaded energy, desire and motivation to go-go-go! It represents the head, which is kinda where the masculine energy is ruling over (head over heart). aries itself is so eager to be the pioneer and the leader, that sometimes he suddently realizes that he is, actually, left alone in his own world - whether it’s because he is too far ahead from others, or becaused everybody left his territories that he’s been so protective of. in pursuit of fighting for one’s justice he lost the point he was fighting for.

and on the opposite side of the spectrum there’re libras - the most others oriented sign. i’ve already pointed out how Aphrodite could shift her appearance to appeal the most beautiful to every eye there is on her way. libras (on the contrast with another venusian sign taurus) have kind of inhereted this ability and now are one of the most flexible and socially adaptible signs of the zodiac. libras sense for justuce, on the contrary with aries, is others oriented, up to the point that libras could come to realize that there’s no such thing as their own self, their territory, bc of how eager they were to keep the world in balance. in pursuit of balancing the world out they sacrificed their own selves.

and when those two are put together - that’s where the magic happens. aries shows libras how it is to be unapologetically themselves and how to fight for what they believe in, while libras open aries’s minds to the surrounding world and to other’s points of view. and all of the sudden aries are not fighting alone - now they have their own people and global purpose, while libras develop the sense of self. together those two bring real harmony and balance, and i think it’s beautiful💗

leo-aquarius axis🧞‍♂️

ohhh I love axis’s and opposites discussions!! for me, every axis is like a scale of two opposite colors of the same thing, two opposite shades of one quality. it represents the dual quality of everything and how life isn’t about something one, but rather about balance ✨

leo is about personal identity, about ego, about self, about here and now. aquarius is, on the contrary, about humanity as a whole, about non-humanity and about future. one is passionate and warm, the other is rather spaced out and detached. one is full of energy, the other one is pure rationality. however, if we zoom out a bit, we can notice that those two are the poles of the same magnet, gravitating to each other wishing for fulfillment of their deep core desire: desire for acceptance

I will repeat myself: both of those signs desire the same thing - to be recognized and accepted as they are.

leo desperately tries to build the identity for ppl so that the world will notice and recognize them, however, by gathering more and more ppl around they are pursuing only one thing: to find somebody that will accept them the way they are, without them putting on glittery and fun persona, without them trying their hardest to bring others warmth and excitement in their daily lives. leo is the artist in the spotlight, signing their soul out hoping that there’s at least one person that fully understands and accepts them

💭nb: I’ve remembered that one episode of Rick and Morty, where Rick turned himself into a child and on the surface was having the time of his life, hanging out with teenagers and singing songs that everybody around was just vining to. but the song he was signing contained lyrics “let me out, this is not a dance! I’m screaming for help, please, let me out!” bc his real body was actually dying each second he spent in the kid body. and around everybody else just vining to the song and saying how cool Rick is, there was only Morty, that actually listened and tried to save him. this episode, imo, is a great illustration for how leo would go about finding and acceptance and recognition

aquarius, on the other hand, is someone that is so accepting of others and so much universe-oriented that they can loose their sense of self. who they are as a single person, as a human soul? aquarians are walking around there looking for bits of their identity and trying to rationally built it bit by bit. they have a really hard time bc they can loose themselves to a point where nothing seems real anymore (“does anything exist? do even I exist, or am I someone else’s hallucination, or a side effect of some cosmic glitch?”). aquas desire for acceptance and understanding is more about: “please, take my hand and tell me I’m real, I’m a human being and I exist”. they look for someone that would prove and validate their own existence.

and here we have two opposites of one axis: one is so human to a point they give themselves out completely to others, and the other one is so detached they don’t believe they’re real anymore. however, if we put these two together, each of them will get one they desire most: leo will finally feel heard, accepted and validated no matter how weird and unacceptable they may have felt, and aqua will finally feel like a real human being, covered in warmth and authenticity of leo’s aura.

having planets in a conflict with your venus - those are the traits you may sooner or later find annoying in other person. at first you may find those traits interesting and worth exploring (esp if your venus is not in a fixed sign), but with the development of the relationship you start to developing an “omg stop it for the love of god pls” kind of thing.

I’ve come to realize that qualities you look for in your potential significant other as well as qualities you wish you could be are represented not so much by your descendant but by your descendant’s ruler

e.g. aries dsc -> mars (aries ruler) in leo ->

(a) looks for ppl that are both noble, loyal, charismatic and generous and playful, sincere and optimistic (leo traits)

(b) wants to embody the qualities of being more confident, more proud and charismatic leader, more fun-loving, etc.

a note on air risings✨

besides common descriptors such as “harmonious face, symmetrical features, friendly appearance” (which are not really helpful when it comes to asc-appearance topics🤧), I’ve noticed that libra risings tend to have wider faces, if that makes sense. it’s like having slightly squarish jaw, softened cheeks, a wide brilliant smile, or maybe more flesh overall, and it can spread even to the body - slightly wider shoulders and hips, slightly more fleshy body. the overall vibe is that they have the most stable and well-rounded developed body structure among all of the air signs - such a healthy and vibrant look!

You know this feeling when you’ve been ✨doing✨ something for sooo long and telling yourself those stories that once you perfect it once you’re done you’re life’s gonna be perfect and you will finally get what you want? But in reality you do everything but the thing that can actually change your life?

Like, I’ve been struggling to find a job. I’ve graduated university, got a degree that neither will bring me money nor is smth I actually would enjoy doing. I moved back with my parents and back in my small home town. So I’ve decided to learn coding on my own and to tell the truth I’ve been doing it for 6 months now and currently am able to do fun things with it👩🏻‍💻

So I’ve been telling myself that once I become good at it and once I am confident, imma find a job, imma make that money and imma finally start living the life I wanted, bc I’m 22 and before I’ve been just doing what I’m told by parents / older family. I really really need and want money to finally break free and finally do things I want to do like buy myself nice clothes, live alone, do my hobbies shamelessly etc (partially I’ve been avoiding these things bc I grew up in a pretty poor family and have never had money to spend so that’s kinda my goal rn🫡)

💭I realized that I’m sabotaging myself with all those “once I finish learning I’ll be able to find a job”, like I’m constantly in a waiting mode?? What am I waiting for?

On the one hand I know that I know nothing and cannot call myself a professional developer - jeez I’ve been coding like only for 6 months lmao. But on the other hand I’ve come to know how to use on a good level 3 languages + different frameworks that are necessary to get a job. And I cannot say whether I’m actually being reasonable and that I need to study more and make a better portfolio website and learn more frameworks OR this is a self sabotaging imposter syndrome kind of thing?

I think that it’s actually 2nd, bc for my whole life all I’ve been doing is being in a waiting preparation mode: “I will study more, I need to be fully prepared!” but never actually doing the thing. Researching and becoming professional at theoretic health but never eating healthy and going to the gym. Reading every syllabus on applied maths and making study plans but never actually studying.

What is wrong with me??💀
