🚩 If there was real trust between them, Kikyo would know one of Inuyasha’s biggest fears was being just human and that even when he transforms every month he’s still quite anxious. And if she already knew all that, then it makes their whole relationship so much worse.

🚩 Inuyasha always referred to his love for Kikyo throughout the series as being indebted to her or needing to make up for what happened, which is so unfair for him not because he’s the only one making up for it but for that to also be how he views their love. As transactional.

🚩 Even though Kikyo might not have been killing them herself, she was still stealing the souls from people meant to move on and Inuyasha never got onto her and would either ignore it or actively excuse her even though he knows what a soulless body looks like since it happened to Kagome.

There was nothing tragic about Inuyasha and Kikyo relationship. I'm sorry but explain to me how it was?

Red Flags of their relationships

🚩 they didn't trust each other at all. All that time they spent together and they still didn't trust each other.

🚩 Naraku even called inuyasha out and asked him why was the trust between was so easily destroyed and inuyasha couldn't even give an answer or excuse. Just standing there looking speechless because for once Naraku was right.

🚩 Kikyo didn't even love inuyasha for the way he was. The moment inuyasha told her he would become human for her, she cut him off saying "Stop that's all I need to hear." She didn't let the man confess his feelings but him being a human was enough for her to drop her panties???? Yeah no.

🚩 Inuyasha and Kikyo love was based on loneliness. They were both lonely and the love they had came from that.

🚩 Oh for fuck sakes Kikyo sister Kaede told Kikyo what the hell the bandit told her and Kikyo brushed that shit off and not only was that fucking stupid. She didn't put two and two together when she got attack??? Yeah no.

🚩 Kikyo was dead for so many years and you telling me while she was in the underworld that she never knew the truth about her death? So nobody in heaven told her? It ain't making sense.

🚩 Kikyo when she got injured, had a flash back on what inuyasha told her about being human for her and believing him. So she was so happy about him being human for her.... yeah no. She didn't even hear him say I love you because She cut him off from finishing his sentence.

🚩 if inuyasha did become human and so did kikyo then everyone would have found out and all the demons who hated kikyo would have massacred the whole damn village. Like she didn't think that through.... kikyo was making income from slaying demons. She was being selfish because kikyo believe she couldn't multi-task. You can be in love and be a priestess kikyo.

🚩 Kikyo wanted to hide their relationship Because she feared rejection from her peers. Like girl you had more privileges than inuyasha did.

There love story is tragic because their relationship had no type of trust, no real love, and all honesty it wouldn't worked at all. That is what made it tragic because it was doom from the start.

Hmmmm I feel I did really well with Sesshomaru and Kagura they look perfect. Ayame, I think her eyes are too big but for the most part she's very cute, and has a very expressive face which is what I was going for. Originally I was going to make her tanner but then I remember she lived up in the snowy mountains so it'd proabbly make more sense for her to be pale.

Now Koga's design, I don't know. His skin looks leathery, man's looking like teryaki chicken. Which to be fair could fit with him, since I'd imagine him to be out in the sun a bunch. But his eyelids are really weird too. Gotta love the hair though.

I've literally forgotten to post here, I haven't drawn Ayame nor Kagura yet, because I forgot :,)

But here's a work in progress, it'll be the cover I use on wattpad and prolly here too. I'm quite proud of Inuyasha here, I didn't make him too buff. Everyone knows Sha isn't buff (yet they still write and draw him so 😔), in the anime he has the most spindly arms ever but in the manga he's actually quite toned. And his expression is really cute.

Honestly, this is the best version of Sesshomaru I've made. I also have Koga and Ayame on that canvas (I need to redraw Ayame but Koga is completely colored), and I think I'm going to also draw Kagura and I might just keep it as the four of them.

I tried something new with the eyelashes and I kind of like it, it's very✨d r am a t i c✨ but it's something I'd only use sparingly so I'm pretty sure he's the only inuyasha character who'll have them (and maybe Naraku/Kagewaki).

I FINISHED IT!! The first one at least... I am so... tired.

I need to make another of Naraku, his twin brother, and his like... 7 kids. I gave up trying to figure his dumb face out for now. And probably another after that with Totosai, Yakurodokusen and maybe the rest of the Higurashi family. Just like the, 'extra' characters. Also I don't know what I'm gonna do with Shippo, I want him to be in the story but I haven't figured how he can. I will soon, hopefully.

I've been very absent since I've just been very drained and unable to focus, while at the same time, I was trying to work on my webcomic. But I got at least one thing complete this week so there's that.

TRAGEDY AU!!

This here, is just my excuse to make a seriously dark version of the main series (which honestly the show should've been a little darker). And this fanfic is one of the darker stories I've ever made.

Anyways anyways, this story starts right after Inuyasha and Kagome go back to the feudal era once she recovered from her cold. Except they end up in another timeline (it's still the feudal era mind you). When they go back to the village of edo, they find everyone dead and when they find Kaede, she's afraid of Kagome.

Basically a series of events, that I might talk about later but I'm trying to keep this spoiler free :), causes that universe's future to become a hellscape that Naraku rules over. And Kagome slowly loses it because of that, and turns against her friends and her morals. I say that as if she joins the other side, she doesn't, she becomes a lone wolf in the worst way. Due to her transgressions that universe's Inuyasha hates her and joins Sesshomaru's side. Yeah I know, shocking. Trust me it makes more sense with the context given.

That universe's Kagome who'll I'll refer to as Mei, takes interest in the other Inuyasha and Kagome because she realizes if she can figure out how to go to their universe/timeline she'll be able to see her family again, and she can make sure the future doesn't fall apart because of her failures. Mei wants Kagome to join her, because with their immense spiritual power basically doubled, they can keep everyone safe. But ultimately Mei is willing to get rid of her if she gets in her way.

This too, is a Kagome-centric fanfic. It's just here to explore her character and morality more, and what could've driven these characters off the edge. That and I really wanted to write/read about my girls becoming evil not because she's cursed or possessed, just out of her own will. I was gonna say I don't know why but then I thought of the like... early 2010s trope of morally white characters becoming evil, e.g. dark sonic, dark bloom (I know she like sort of possessed but shh) and I just want that but for her. Look... if you look at literally any of my stories they all have characters (most likely the protagonist) that have like a "dark side"/ "dark side" plot beats. It's a fucking issue lol. Honestly though I don't mind this becoming a recognizable trope in my writing.

Finished Drawing

I made this cute sketch a few days ago and I'm finally getting around to finishing it. You may not see all of Kikyo's laughing glory yet.

Once I'm done with this, I'll finally fucking figure out how to draw Naraku's face and finish the sp!au character line-up, the first one at least (which is the one with Sota, Kagome, Inuyasha, Naraku, Sango, and Miroku. It'll also include their alt. names if they have one).

Fanfic Masterlist

I originally planned to post these after the sp!au character lineups, but like those are taking a while (I've figured out how like a handful of the characters would look like except for Naraku and his incarnations and so I'm over here struggling on what this nasty nasty half-man looks like). And I haven't posted in a while. These are just my references for the characters, I don't have ones for their bodies cause I just don't need them. I guess? I'm trying to stay consistent okay! Maybe I'll post some of the old sketches but they icky.

I'm probably going to post about some of my other fanfics next and some possible ideas that I may or may not write. I literally have to many fanfics for this one show and I haven't written a fic in years!

I think because her plan was to show how pathetic he was once he gathered them all by simply purifying the jewel and killing him. But of course, that doesn't happen.

I still hate how she was never reprimanded for that or various other things she did, just because she's a tragic character. She is tragic, but like... ma'am you took souls from dead maidens not allowing them to pass on (not to mention, once Naraku was defeated she would take Inuyasha to hell. So I'm assuming she'd also be taking all those innocent souls with her), she tried to kill kagome, not to mention she tends to insult her a lot, and of course there's the whole 'giving the jewel to Naraku' situation. Like I don't hate her, but man, she kinda eeeee sucked sometimes.

u know what, i still need to understand this, can someone please explain to me, ive been wondering this for a while. Why did Kikyo give naraku the shikon jewel shards like what did she think she’d gain....i get it she gonna purify it when he has it but was that the only reason why???? I just feel they worked so hard to earn it and she put them at such a disadvantage far more than if they literally just had all the shards.

Maybe im just bitter towards her so i could never validate it.
