“Some grow up the catch them” literally hit me so hard. I loved it because it validates the fears that kids who have been abused feel. Some of us will worry “am I turning into them?” Every time we feel angry at something, like we’re not allowed to feel it because of what we’ve experienced. We think anger means abuse in some ways (wanting to shout, hitting a pillow just to let it out, actually shouting.) but in reality we’re just feeling anger. Some may feel it more due to their trauma, but at the end of the day, it’s normal. Anger is an emotion! Every person in this world feels it from the day they’re born to the day they die.
I actually used to want to be a police officer because of my childhood, because I too wanted to “grow up to catch them.” But after realising that there’s nothing in the world I can do to get revenge I started to think for myself. I want to teach instead!
I wanted to see Hotch’s backstory so badly that I started to write it myself! Because you can’t just drop one of the most iconic criminal minds lines then forget about it, then bring Shaun in and have them talk about their dad… in a way that they idolise him… girl did you forget?!
Anyways Hotch deserved a backstory, he never ever got one!
This occurred to me while I was writing up my answer to @unionjackpillow's last fabulous meta prompt, but they also asked "what is a storyline that you think had more potential than depicted in the show and where would you have taken it?"
And this is difficult with Criminal Minds because there are so many storylines that they mention and then never mention again, from serious injuries (Foyet is on a ton of pain medication but Hotch ... isn't?) to rape (both Morgan's and Hotch's, and isn't it interesting that it's them) to childhood abuse ("some people grow up to catch them," seriously?) to an actual exploration of why Morgan would choose profiling in the FBI as a Black man who had been unfairly arrested several times as a kid and as an adult! (Gideon leaves when he loses faith in the profile, faith in his own oversized brain. Gideon's profile gets Morgan arrested and yet Morgan stays.)
So there are plenty that we don't see, and I'll admit that there are plenty of them I wouldn't want to see, because I don't love the way the show's writers handle their own obsession with Christianity and play it into the show, and I'm not eager to find out what they would have done with either historical and current racial issues or how they would have delved into trauma from rape or child abuse.
What I would have liked is a better arc for Morgan's job offer in LoFi/Mayhem, and again in season five. In any long-running show you have to address why the second-in-command doesn't move up to be in command somewhere else, it's a given.
My first experience with this was as a child watching Star Trek: TNG, and it's given a two episode arc where the 2nd in command takes command, proves he can, is lauded by everyone, and then does a little on-screen soul searching and decides he doesn't need to chase the same dreams he had ten or fifteen years ago, that he can be somewhere and be happy with it and reevaluate later if that changes. This is irrelevant except for how it's well done: the issue of a promotion is given time and space and the reasons he doesn't take it are also given time and space and the audience is left feeling both proud of him and emotionally onboard with his decision to stay.
Morgan never gets this. There's mention of a job offer--a job offer three steps up from where Morgan is as an SSA, should run his own team somewhere and then run a smaller field office before being offered all of NY--and then the rest of the two-episode arc doesn't focus on him at all except to have Hotch put him down. We aren't shown his capabilities as a leader (as a quick thinker and team player, yes, as a leader, no), and we never get any discussion as to why he doesn't take the job, especially because after being put down in front of a field office and being told that NYC needs a leader and they're at war and then being put down again, anyone else would have. We never even hear that he hasn't taken the job, only that he doesn't go away.
This more or less repeats in season five - he's offered the job in a way that's a little bit about his capabilities but mostly about Hotch, and there's no discussion as to why it doesn't go to Rossi instead. Rossi asks if he'll be able to give it up again, but there's no discussion of that either, despite the fact that it's mentioned he does a good job.
I brought this up in the other post, but no one in the show ever seems to consider money, and they aren't making that much. It's decent pay with extra money to afford DC and extra for the hours/hazard of it, but SAC earns about $30,000 more a year, and I assume the NYC director job would be well above that. For Morgan and his lower middle class family, that's a lot of money. It's more money to send home to his mom and sisters, more money for house renovations, more to build a nest egg and offer himself the choices he never had as a kid. But he turns it down over and over with no mention of what that's giving up.
I wouldn't want it harped on, but I think they could have done a few episode arc and done it so that Morgan's competencies were highlighted (though that's also something they struggled with sometimes after season one) and his reasoning for turning down a promotion was half explicit and half well acted and implicit with team as family and being happy where he was, and I'm sad we never got that.

Can someone please tell me the name of this book/movie or tell me that I’ve actually just made it up in a really vivid dream before I lose my mind, thanks.
So basically from what I remember the plot is this:
A girl from the city moves to live with her boyfriend/husband on his very rich ranch with horses and stuff. The house is really big like this:
Tumblr media
It’s like basically in the middle of nowhere and you have to travel into town sort of thing. It’s just a big white country house.
So this guys (the bf/husband) mother really doesn’t like the girl because ofc shes “taking her son away” and I think she’s killing people?? I think she gets arrested or dies at the end or something… I think she had a head in her fridge or something.
I think at some point a ‘help’ on the ranch is brought in and he’s good with the horses and he’s really good looking. He’s strong and is kind to the girl.
I think I remember red bed sheets too where the girl slept or something…
Idk why but I think Jessica Lange is the mother?😭 could totally be wrong though. I had a look at her page on Google and couldn’t find anything (she’s been in a lot of country things too)
Also I think the girl moves back to her city apartment and her lock/door is broken, and she calls her boyfriend really scared (I might be intertwining two movies or a story) and it turns out it was his mum that did it because the girls pregnant?😭😭
If I have anything else to add to this post I certainly will because I’m so sure it’s a movie… but at the same time there’s a possibility that I’ve actually dreamt this and it’s just not real.

I’m getting really sick and tired of a lot of men commenting under ig posts about the spectacular movie that is Barbie, things like “Barbie was just toxic feminism” and straight up hate.
And when asked by someone (normally a woman) “how?” They lie… and state that Barbie was putting men down?? Like… tell me seriously where in the movie men are put down. The second barbie was put in the real word she was sexually assaulted… which was a very accurate portrayal of our world.
Ken was never put down. Ken himself was insecure, it had nothing to do with Barbie. Barbie treated all the Ken’s equally, it’s not her fault she didn’t have romantic feelings for Ken the same way he had them for her. So once again, women are being put on blast for not reciprocating a man’s romantic feelings! Great! (Sarcasm)
Some men that I’ve seen have said things like “I wish Barbie focused more on mens issues.” What the fuck are you talking about in all seriousness and in the least mean way possible. The movie was made for women, and young girls. It reminded us all of our girlhood and how quickly it ended because we all at some point learned of the patriarchy and worried about standards and becoming insecure about ourselves.
In a way, it did talk about mens issues, but a lot of men have just decided to either ignore that, or take it the wrong way because the men didn’t end up running barbieland in the end! The movie shows us that patriarchy = not good, and how a lot of men because of it, feel like they have to be something they’re not. “Muscular”, “handsome”, “the bread winner.” When they don’t! They are perfect just the way they are! And THAT was Ken’s story. He learned he was enough (kenough) just the way he is. He never put Barbie down for not loving him back. He was hurting, hence the rudeness in Kendom, but with communication with Barbie, he figured it out. HE needs to discover who he is. Barbie knows who she is and loves it. But Ken has never seen himself outside of being in love with Barbie, which was his issue and his issue ALONE, not Barbies.
Barbie goes on a self discovering journey (which Ken invited himself to just a reminder) to find out why she’s feeling insecure and doubting herself and finds a mother struggling with herself too. Together they have a heart to heart which made me tear up because it reminded me of myself. It reminded me of the world we live in where little girls are hating themselves for not being “pretty enough” or “skinny enough” for not being the standard of a man’s view point.
Barbie isn’t about mens issues as a whole. But of course we see Ken learn that he doesn’t need Barbies affection to be himself and love himself. He eventually accepted it. So I believe that if the men hating on Barbie had actually just tuned into it, they may have found peace with their own insecurities… but no.
I don’t think a lot of men actually paid attention to or actually watched the movie. They’ve read other reviews of misogynists and have just rolled with the hate because they too hate women! These types of men are jealous of the community us women have built together and are just trying to tear it down because they hate to see us thrive and give ourselves credit for the things we’ve done. We’re mourning our girlhoods and wishing we could have just played pretend a little longer before we had to open our eyes at ages 10 or 11 to see the world for what it really is. A scary and unsafe place for women and girls.
So what I ask, for us girls out there, if you read a hate comment about the movie/women, don’t respond. Don’t interact at all. It’ll only fuel them more and that’s exactly what they want. I can practically see their cruel smile behind my screen whenever I read comments like them. They want us to feel upset and put down because we finally have a movie FOR US! They’re trying to ruin it for us. A movie that shows how we don’t need a man to feel fulfilled. Just report it, and move on. We’re better than this, let’s not stoop to their lonely and miserable level.
Love you all xx

Garcia: Okay so I’ve looked at everything for this family. Relatives, friends, neighbours, I called them all, other houses, criminal records which there are none, jobs, holidays, hospital records and the staff working, interests, I’ve read their personal diaries, blood types, where they shop, where they eat, shoe sizes, favourite snacks, ive slept in their beds, I watered their plants, I know the routes they take to literally everywhere, raided their bins, used their bathroom, drank from their sink, tried on their clothes, sir I’ve basically seen inside their bodies and there is nothing.
Hotch: Look again.

hi! could i please request a fake dating oneshot between james and peter? like james thinking it'd be a good way to get Lily's attention, and Peter is just freaking out the whole time. it could end platonically or romantically honestly. but it definitely deepens their bond, with James realizing peter may not be as good at stuff he and the other two marauders can do, but he definitely has his talents. they're just different. (maybe herbology, or even divination — but i only hc that he enjoys using tarot cards to soothe his anxiety about things.) And with Peter learning James is flawed. He's not this idol or this walking statue of perfection. He's just James. And that's good. :D
A/N: this sounds very interesting!! Thank you so much for requesting xx

——————————
“Hey Pete!” A young, handsome, well built boy with disheveled black hair and crooked glasses had came bursting through the dormitory door belonging to four Gryffindors with a mission on his mind.
Peter, was taking advantage of a Saturday to catch up on his books that were normally collecting dust at the side of his bed. He had awoken to be alone this morning, something he had felt thankful for, as his roommates turned best friends had realised how much he may need a lie in. He dressed comfortably and made his bed, ate a good breakfast before coming right back to his bed, plopped himself on top of the comfy mattress and opening Treasure Island.
His soul could have floated up into heaven just then and there when James Potter kicked down the door.
“Merlin… what is it?” He asked taking his reading glasses off his nose and resting them upon his lap.
James was smiling manically. Whatever it was he had cooked up, it was a good one. Just maybe not a sane one. Every time James had been allowed to take control of a prank of plan for the day, the three other boys prayed that all four of them would make it out alive and still have their places at Hogwarts. Speaking of, the last time James was in charge each and every one of the boys were in the infirmary room being treated for countless wasp stings. James had planned on dumping a nest into the Slytherin common room, but after clumsily dropping them on their travels, the wasps broke free, and were not happy in the slightest with their broken home.
Yet, James still managed to laugh. He always found something funny in darkness. Peter was always thankful for that.
James was known well for impulsive decisions and not being able to stay still for very long. Peter was quite fond of it. He could possibly say he enjoyed watching over James, ensuring most of the time that the boy stayed out of trouble and away from injury. One day where Peter was sick, James had ran too fast down the grand stairs and sprained his ankle real bad, and all of that could have been avoided if Peter was there, he would have told him to slow down!
But besides his hot wired brain, he was perfect. He was tall, something the girls liked Peter thought, as every time James walked past a group they would quite literally swoon. He was good looking, perfect jaw, hazel eyes and long lashes, dark brown skin that glittered in the sunlight, and the most award winning smile anyone could wear. To top it all off he was very athletically built. He played quidditch like his life depended on it, and even for a fourth year the entire school knew that next year he would be captain. Everyone knew his name, he was practically famous for his quidditch playing. Not to mention how good he looked with the wind flowing through his black curls, his head thrown back in a moment of tiredness only to be replaced with a stern and determined look that was a little scary.
It was around their second year when Peter realised he may have a crush on his best friend. Though it was hard not to. Besides his good looks, James was also very caring, thoughtful, he looked out for others. Picking other up from the ground, especially Remus and Sirius who basically lived at the bottom of the trench. But each day James pulled them out, and has done so ever since he met the boys. His loyalty. His passion. His everything was why Peter was falling deeper for the boy everyday.
“So… I have this idea… I-it’s like really good!” Peter nodded encouragingly as the latter sat himself on the edge of the bed, and began flapping his hands excitedly as he went.
“Me and you, we pretend to date.”
The treasure island book lay limp in one hand, and his mouth dropped open as if he’d heard something terrible. Peter’s body had turned to ice and he had to physically shake himself back into the reality in which, James Potter, THE James Potter was asking him to pretend to be his boyfriend.
“What?” Was the only thing Peter could say.
James was either too excited or too dumb to see the fear in Peter’s eyes. Perhaps he thought it meant the plan was good!
“So I’ve been thinking. Lily doesn’t seem to care much about me, like at all, but maybe she does inside! Remember that time I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle?” Peter nodded though he was not present. “It was Lily who ran to me first and held my hand, even though it was so not painful, I was totally brave- anyways, I think if we pretend to date she’ll get jealous and finally admit to me how she feels!”
Peter blinked dumbfounded. James was incredibly intelligent… for the most part. His 100mph brain would sometimes come up with the craziest of plans and James would just accept them. If only Remus or Sirius were here to tell him how silly this was. Because… on the odd occasion Peter couldn’t say no to him. He was asking him a favour, not permission to jump off the top of Gryffindor tower (which he has asked before and the answer was a definite no.)
James hadn’t gone to Remus or Sirius… not even one of girls who may have been a better choice as they were all very pretty, and Peter… well, he wouldn’t categorise himself in the good looking group.
He was plumper than the rest, chubby cheeks and a round belly that he covered with large hoodies even in warm weather. He wasn’t tall, around 5’7 which was quite far off the other boys who all had giant genes or something. Especially Remus… Peter sometimes worried the boy would topple him over without seeing him, something he did to younger students every day.
Peter had never had a problem with his sexuality before, he was open to liking whoever he pleased, but James? Liking James felt criminal. He was his best friend, and someone way out of his league. The golden boy with the rat seemed like a doomed pairing.
“Uhm… wh-why me?” He had asked almost hopefully.
“I know you’d do it!”
Peter had to pretend that really didn’t hurt. Yeah of course he’d do it. He’d do anything for James’ recognition even if it meant swallowing his feelings and choking painfully.
“A-alright.” He managed to nod and hoped hard he wasn’t blushing. But he knew he was. There was no way he couldn’t be.
James jumped up cheerfully and crashed into Peter with a force strong enough to flatten, but Peter was used to it and braced himself.
“Yeah… no problem mate.” As he hugged James back, his head pounded against his chest wildly.
Tomorrow was the day, and for the night that came Peter twisted and turned but couldn’t cool his sweating. He even took his shirt off, dabbing it under his arms and neck but there was no use. He didn’t sleep a wink. The date he always wanted from James was coming so soon… and it wasn’t real. And it was breaking him up inside.
He just wanted to somehow be enough. He tried day and night to be better. The attention given to the rest of the boys, Sirius and Remus, were different from Peter. He understood it well enough, they needed it more, but he wished James would pay attention to him like that. James was Peter’s best friend but he didn’t think Peter was James’. That was Sirius. And ever since Sirius and Remus started dating, Peter felt outcasted. Those three were tied together and Peter didn’t have anything to relate to them, just that he was in the same dorm.
Over the years at Hogwarts Peter did become friend with the boys, but he really only wondered when it would end.
The next morning Peter was shaken from his light slumber by large hands that could only belong to James. “Wakey wakey! Time to get dressed, we leave in two hours sweetheart.”
Maybe James took the redness of Peter’s face to be from a good sleep, but actually he was toying with his heart, and he had hardly slept.
“Can’t wait.” The smaller boy forced a weak laugh.
Peter picked out his best shirt, light blue, and trousers coloured black. Much different from his usual which was a large t-shirt and joggers.
He had to look good. If you dated James Potter, you must.
“All set?” James asked just as Peter had finished combing his hair, which had grown more than the year before, curling over his ears, and lighter from the amount of time in the sun.
“Yeah.” He smiled, shoving his hands in his pockets, unsure on what James wanted.
“Great, let’s go, Sirius and Remus are coming too but they’ll give us privacy, otherwise Lily might think we’re just going as a group.”
Peter wondered if the other boys were in on the game too. Because that’s all it was in the end. A game. Somewhat like the pranks they always pull and make Peter the bait.
“You gotta hold my hand, we have to really sell it.” James held his hand out and Peter almost crumbled under his sweet gaze.
Hesitantly, while a wash of insecurity poured over Peter, he took it.
He really didn’t fit the part. He wasn’t as pretty as Lily. She was so well put together. Slim, wide green eyes that sparkled, and her hair was the most beautiful he’d ever seen. No he didn’t dislike her, more like envied. She was a very lucky girl to have caught the eye of James Potter.
The walk from Hogwarts to Hogsmead felt longer than it was. Sirius and Remus were in their own world, walking with Marlene McKinnon and Dorcas Meadows, leaving James and Peter to the open world.
Peter felt countless stares on him. Girls who glared at their intertwined hands, guys who snickered at them, but there was one look he didn’t have, which was Lily’s.
He spotted her quickly, it was easy enough seeing as the sun was out and her hair was strands of gold. Her attention was on Severus Snape… poor girl. Even if he wished she didn’t like James back, he wished harder for her to be free from that Slytherin.
“Hey Evans!” James called out loudly and her head spun around.
“What?” She asked.
“You on a date?” James picked up his pace and Peter had to jog to keep up with his long strides.
Lily rolled her eyes and Severus burned holes into the boys.
“No Potter, just friends.” Oh just like Peter and James then. Maybe Severus felt the same way Peter did… he’s hoping he’s on a date and Lily but had most likely been torn down instantly, while Peter was having to hold himself together because unlike Severus, he was on a date, it just wasn’t real.
“Well… me and Peter are.” Lily seemed to become confused. Studying the boys hands and then their eyes. Peter put on a big smile, and then so did she.
“That’s wonderful! I’m happy for you. Have a good time!” Then gave a wave to Peter who was almost turning purple from holding his breath.
Once she was out of earshot James giggled excitedly. “It’s totally working!” He whispered into Peter’s ear. “She bought it mate.”
James watched as Lily and Severus headed towards Madam Puddifoots, it was her favourite place. It had Muggle foods like normal strawberry tarts and nothing that croaked when you bit into it.
Peter liked it too but… didn’t fancy eating right now. He already looked out of place with such a fit guy like James, having people watch him eat would be embarrassing.
“Perfect place. You like coffee right?” James asked and Peter shook his head.
“No, I like tea better.” He said, and James’ happy face faltered slightly. Regretful.
“Oh, yeah right! Let’s get some, on me.” The boy insisted to make up for not knowing even the simplest thing such as whether Peter prefer tea or coffee. He was his date after all!
The two found a table across from Lily, Peter with the back of his head facing her, James with all the view.
He seemed to become distracted by the plan, even once their drinks arrived James was lost in his own world, glancing over at Lily over and over again, he couldn’t help himself.
Peter knew how James felt about the girl. He’d get butterflies just at the mention of her name. James thought Lily held the world in her hands.
Perhaps she did.
There was the urge to cry. Though Peter would not let his tears fall. Rejection would come and go throughout his whole life, there was no use in digging himself a hole.
But as the date went on. James seemed to be losing hope. His eyes longed for the girl that was leaving the shop, not having looked at him once. It was rare to see James Potter feel defeated, but when it came to Lily Evans it was most of the time.
Peter wanted James to be happy so badly that he was willing to put his own feelings aside just to assist him. The sidekick. Robin to Batman.
“It’s… it’s not working.” James whispered down to his coffee that was half empty.
Peter looked up from poking his teabag with his spoon and gave James a small, sad smile.
“I’m sorry.” He apologised, rather sincerely.
James attention has diverted from across the room to just in front of him.
“There’s nothing to apologise for Peter… I really thought this would work.” Then suddenly he couldn’t look up, bowing his head in shame at pulling his friend all this way just for his plan to never matter.
“I didn’t do good enough.” Peter laughed at himself. But it wasn’t humorous at all. He believed it. He knew he wouldn’t do well in pretending to be James’ partner. He was a shadow in the latters presence. No body paid mind to the short stocky boy.
“What?” James gasped quietly. “No… you’ve been great…” his eyes landed on Peter who was looking down, tracing circles on the back of his hand.
And that’s where it hit him.
Peter was there for him, always, and James let him down. He used him to get what he wanted, not even succeeding, and hurt his friend.
It was as if a door had opened in his head, at the same time another had closed, and he was seeing everything in a new light.
“Yeah like, no one really expects someone like me to date someone like you right? Maybe if you had chosen someone pretty or-“
“You are pretty.”
James cut Peter off quickly, and gulped when he looked up. His gaze softened, and a pang of nerves filled his chest. He wasn’t used to this sort of feeling at all. No… he was confident, well put together, the leader, he didn’t blush or feel at all watched.
“Hm?”
“I think you’re pretty Peter… don’t be so hard on yourself.” James attempted to play his sudden new feelings off by putting on a wide smile and giving Peter a light shove of the arm. Just friends being friends.
Pink scattered across Peter’s cheeks and nose, and despite his tea being cold, he sipped it, trying to cover himself.
“Really. I think you’re amazing. Thank you for trying to help me today, even if you knew deep down it wouldn’t work. You always support me Peter.” For too long James hadn’t really appreciated Peter, and all the same Peter had idolised James as if he were a god. Too much of the opposite thing, blinded them from who they both really were.
“Thanks… you too James.” Peter felt his shoulders relax, having been tense all day since the moment he awoke. He felt… appreciated. Seen.
Finishing the last gulp of cold coffee, James rested his chin on top his hands. “You wanna go back? Start cooking up our next plan?”
Then the hope Peter felt for James moving on had sunk. “Plan?”
“Yeah! Maybe some dungbombs… and a trip wire…” that usual glossed over look James would get in deep thought washed over his face. He was only scheming, and Peter finally began working up a little bit of courage.
He could lead too. Make the rules. He only needed to believe it within himself.
They had left the shop, James not spending any time to wave at Lily the way he often did, actually neither of them even thought of her as they stepped out into the open to return to the castle.
“James?” Peter asked. His confidence was wearing off, so if it wasn’t now he asked then he had no idea when else he could.
“Hm?”
“Maybe we could… do this again?” The shorter boy anxiously played with a loose string on his jeans, not being able to look James in the eyes.
“What do you mean?” James had asked confused, possibly admiring how Peter was willing to help him again.
“Me and you. Hogsmead. Just the two of us.“
“What about Lily?” The picture of the beautiful girl with flaming ginger hair intimidated Peter in his mind.
“Well… maybe you could forget. There are others out there who appreciate you and-and want to be with you.” James looking down almost knowing.
A silence grew between them, and Peter didn’t push James for an answer. Instead he listened to the spring leaves crinkle against their shoes.
“I… I’d like that, Peter.”
The two of them took hands again, but this time, with a much different intent.

I also sobbed when I saw barbie appreciating an old woman, sitting beside her on the bench, because that's what a woman is and that's what being human is, and that's what life is and she saw imperfection and age and realized it was beautiful.
She was so scared of being imperfect and having cellulite and aging and dying, and then she saw how beautiful all of those things could be, and she cried, and I cried.
And I understood. And I felt understood.

“It’s literally impossible to be a woman.
You are so beautiful, and so smart, and it kills me that you don't think you're good enough. Like, we have to always be extraordinary, but somehow, we're always doing it wrong?
You have to be thin, but not too thin, and you can never say you wanna be thin. You have to say you wanna be healthy, but also, you have to BE THIN.
You have to have money, but you can't ask for money because that's crass.
You have to be a boss, but you can't be mean.
You have to lead, but you can't squash other people's ideas.
You're supposed to love being a mother, but don't talk about your kids all the damn time.
You have to be a career woman, but also, always be looking out for other people.
You have to answer for men's bad behavior, which is INSANE, but if you point that out, you're accused of complaining!
You're supposed to stay pretty for men, but not so pretty that you tempt them too much or that you threaten other women because you're supposed to be a part of the sisterhood, but ALWAYS STAND OUT and ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL. But never forget that the system is rigged, so find a way to acknowledge that but ALSO, always be grateful!
You have to never get old. Never be rude. Never show off. Never be selfish. Never fall down. Never fail. Never show fear. Never get OUT OF LINE. It's too hard! It's too contradictory, and nobody gives you a medal or says 'thank you!' And it turns out, in fact, that not only are you doing everything wrong, but also, everything is your fault.
I'm just so tired of watching myself, and every single other woman tie herself into knots, so that people will like us.
And if all of that, is also true for a doll just representing a woman, then I don't even know." -Gloria the barbie movie
this is it. this is exactly it oh my god.

Traumatic events (anything traumatic you can imagine a character going through)
Drug use
Anything not involving anything down below 👇
I won’t write:
Smut
Adult X Minor (you’d be surprised how many of these there are in the world…)
Jegulus, rosekiller (sorry I’m just a hater)
Lily X Snape (it’s gross I’m not sorry for this one)
Incest… (Dennis and Dee or James and Regulus)
Age regression (just not comfortable writing it sorry)
I might come up with more
Types of writing:
One shot (in detail one chapter fic following a requested blurb)
Blurbs (short/sometimes long summary of something such as headcanons or just details of a fic)
Fandoms:
Criminal minds
The marauders
It’s always sunny in Philadelphia
Bridgerton (I’ll only write fics about the family being chaotic, no ships)
Structure:
Give as much detail as you like! Mention the characters you would like, the kind of relationship, and a summary to go off from <3
