I haven’t finished today’s fic for namorweek, which is a shame. Combination of being ill and Johnny rambling about his goats at every possible opportunity (he’s a goatherd who freed the vengeful god of the seas from a centuries long enchantment so his village decided to try sacrifice him to appease Namor’s fury). But I’ll finish it at some point.

Ramonda often goes to the banks of the river to be alone with her thoughts, and finds solace in Namor's company.

I wrote this because I thought the relationship between Namor and Ramonda was interesting in Black Panther Wakanda Forever and so I wanted an AU where they were friends or lovers and this seemed like a good opportunity to actually write it, but now that I’ve done so I am concerned it doesn’t focus enough on Namor to count for @namorweek, as the focus is shared by both of them. But here it is anyway.

I love when artists give Namor's eyes this underwater glow. I think it's neat. I headcanon that he has a second set of lids that close over his eyes to help him see in the water. While other Atlanteans don't have one for the surface, so when they come up it's too bright for them
