the album is brutally honest, satirical, a bit cringe here and there, depressing and experimental at the same time, I would not side eye anyone for saying "I don't understand this" or "this isn't my cup of tea" or even "what the fuck is this" because it's obviously not a 1989 or midnights kind of album for everyone. I understand why she said she "had to put this out" but while she is at the peak of her career, she released an album that is not for beginners nor really for overall critics, it's knees deep into the taylor swift lore and probably the most herself an album has ever been, that does not mean it is a masterpiece but it makes it so insanely special

My work does a wellbeing theme for their Wednesday huddle, and today we all got given a piece of paper to write down three things we're proud of. I wrote five, and two of them I actually incorporated later because I was bored on my fitting room shift (when am I not) so I just wrote down Taylor songs to put in my Sylki songfic series 😭

It's at 7 songs in total for now, because I've only listened to a few of the songs once, I've not had the time to study the lyrics, and I've not heard the Anthology songs yet. That'll change asap tho

I remember when I commented on a modern sailor moon sequel anime id never seen, and I asked what it was 😂 apparantly it was okay to treat me like a fucking idiot. Good times. It is now I look back on it!

So, everyone was acting like I'd never ever seen it before, and I got tons of vibes of 'oh my god you've not heard of this extremely popular thing??? Oh my god he DARE you! I'm clutching my pearls!' but they were too cowardly to actually be offensive, but I could feel how shocked they were and their assumptions through the screen

😂 I remember being so angry that everyone was assuming that shit about me, and normally the sailor moon that circulates is the 90s one. The main character wasn't even in the pics I saw 😂 god forbid someone never see something popular, ig, otherwise you'll get treated like this weird outcast. And what's even funnier is that no one understood I was actually offended 😂 they were too busy over exaggerating and repeating 'omg I can't believe you've not heard of this. Like um HOW?!?!??'
