Jiwoong

So you two just started dating when he stays at your place overnight for the first time. As he walks out the door the next day, you notice that he forgot the t-shirt he slept in on your bed. You grab your phone to text him to come back and get it but before you press send, you come up with an idea. The next time you meet, you show up wearing his shirt instead. When he sees you stepping out of the bus, he smiles and shakes his head, "So that's where my shirt went." What he won't admit is that he thought you wearing his clothes would be really cute but he didn't know how to bring it up to you. So instead he left his shirt there on purpose in the hopes that you would wear it.

You've had a crush on your classmate Hao for ages but dude is really bad at catching hints whenever you try to flirt with him. One day you compliment him on one of his hoodies and ask if you could maybe borrow it cause it's your favourite of his. Instead of reading the room, he says that if you like it so much, he can show you where he got it from so you can get it yourself. One of your mutual friends finally has enough and blurts, "Bro, you could probably propose to him and he would still think it's platonic." That's when he finally realises that you've been flirting with him and, after some proper dates, you end up getting together. As a six months anniversary gift he gets the two of you cute matching hoodies, which all your friends think is cringe but neither of you cares.

Zhang Hao

Hanbin

When you invite him to hang out with you, he tells you that he's so busy lately that he can't come. But he still wants to spend time with you so he asks if you wanna accompany him to a dance practice instead. Watching them dance is fun but after some time you get bored just sitting on the side. You see his sweater that he tossed in the corner after getting too hot and decide to tease him a little by stealing it and putting it on yourself. He doesn't notice at first cause he's so focused on his practice but when he notices, he laughs and tells you how cute you look in it. Probably comes over to squish your cheeks and baby you. You still get scolded for taking it without permission but it's all just jokes because he secretly thinks it looks really cute on you.

Matthew

You and him are out on a date at a café which is much fuller than you expected and the last free tables are in the outside area. It's also much colder than what you're dressed for since you were expecting your date to be inside. After seeing you shiver, Matthew offers you his jacket but you refuse at first saying it's not that cold (liar). He insists until you eventually accept it and he gets to wrap his warm jacket around you. In the end you're glad he insisted because it really helps and you're actually able to enjoy your date. Matthew feels a huge sense of pride seeing you in his jacket cause it makes him feel all boyfriend. He probably tells you you look like his cutieful angel in it cause he's weird like that lmao.

Taerae

While on a car ride together on the way to a karaoke night with friends, the car in front abruptly stops causing him to hit the breaks quite harshly. He instinctively puts his arm in front of you. You're fine but the water bottle you were taking a sip from in that exact moment spills all over your pants. Fortunately for you, Taerae keeps a change of clothes in his car. Unfortunately for you, the only pants available are a colourful messy pair of sweatpants that really clash with the rest of your otherwise kinda fancy black outfit. Your friends all (affectionately) laugh when they see you but after explaining the backstory, it becomes the highlight of the night. Inside jokes about it are brought up even months later and it becomes a happy memory.

Ricky

Dude owns way too many dress up shirts and button ups so one time when you're getting ready for a date, you ask if you can wear one of them tonight. "I just wanna look as fancy as you do all the time." He tells you that you always look perfect just the way you are (what a flirt smh). "But if you wanna dress fancy, maybe we can try on some outfits together." After seeing you change in and out of some of his clothes, he has something else on his mind. "You know what? Maybe you would look best in no clothes at all." Date night is cancelled, y'all are staying home if you know what I mean.

Gyuvin

You're in the kitchen trying to get some snacks from a shelf after the two of you decide to watch a movie together. Regardless of how tall you are, gyuvin probably put them up way too high for you to reach I have a thing for gyuvin's height okay this is gonna come up a lot. When he sees you trying to climb the counter to reach it, he offers to help "since you're too tiny to reach it". You get defensive and tell him youre not that short but all he replies with is "Are you kidding? You'd probably drown in one of my hoodies." "No, I wouldn't, you're not that much taller." Instead of arguing back, he gets one of his hoodies and asks you to put it on to prove his point. Oh, you're definitely drowning in it but it's okay cause he finds it really cute and hugs you tight in it. You try to be mad at him but he's way too adorable and you end up having a big hoodie cuddle session during the movie.

Gunwook

You don't even have to ask for his clothes because he will offer his hoodie/jacket/etc every available chance whether you're dating or not. Just a constant stream of "Are you cold? Do you want my hoodie?" or "Are you sure you don't want my scarf?" He pretends he doesn't need them because he's "not even that cold". He's definitely cold but will never admit it and tries real hard to hide his shivering from you so you don't refuse his offers. You notice it anyway but don't say anything because you know it's his way of showing he cares. we love a respectful man

Yujin

This may just be a stereotype because he's young but I don't think he's ever properly dated before. So when you tell him you love the way he smells, he gets all flustered and happy. Like huge smile on his face and all. Then one day he gets an idea after you tell him you wish you could fall asleep next to him every night. From there on he always brings an extra shirt to change into when he visits you so he can give you the shirt he wore all day and you can fall asleep with it in your arms every night.

제로베이스원 - their reaction to you suddenly covering their mouth for them to be quiet + different scenarios, for hao's case he is an idol and is wearing a mask in public, gn reader, relationship for jiwoong, just friends, lowercase intended, not proof-read , some might be longer than others sorry :(

김지웅 - watching a scary movie

he would be shocked but wouldn't react much apart from his eyes

would do that thing where his eyes move so quickly from the sudden contact

he wouldn't pay much attention to the fact that you covered his mouth but would be more focused on why you did

if he was being to loud he would quickly apologize but move on and continue what he was doing acting as if nothing happened

would insist after that he wasn't scared but laugh nervously for a while (basing this off of zerobasecamp frl)

you and jiwoong were staying at your parents place, and he insisted on watching the new horror movie that just came out. despite you insisting that it would be a bad idea since it was night time, he had already set up the tv and settled himself in your bed.

you sighed but settled yourself next to him after all it was rare to see jiwoong so enthusiastic over a horror movie. the movie was going well and you couldn't lie to yourself it was sort of interesting, yet you were way to intrigued by the movie to notice how your friends face was no longer filled with excitement.

right next to you jiwoong was trying so hard to keep his cool exterior on, but suddenly there was a jumpscare and he let out a semi loud scream. your eyes widened and you quickly cupped your hand over his mouth, and motioned him to keep quiet.

"shhh my parents are sleeping". his eyes reacted as he took your hand off his mouth and he quickly apologized for the sudden reaction, "im sorry, you're right maybe we can watch it some othertime" he said through nervous laughs.

it was clear he was not over the sudden jump scare but seeing your friend so nervous made you giggle a bit. "yeah we can watch it next time" you said as you tried to hide broken laughs.

*the way jiwoong would go back to trying to act cool after seeing you try to hold back laughs*

장하오 - complaining about his company

i don't know about you guys but i 100% believe Hao would be so loud when he complains

when you covered his mouth he would give you that sassy stare of like "WHY DID YOU COVER MY MOUTH I WAS TALKING"

he would only realize he was being too loud when he noticed how everyone has their eyes on him

would do that thing where he covers his mouth, laughs a bit and goes oops and get really embarassed

would probably continue to be a little sassy afterward due to the embarrassing situation

would not want to continue gossiping his introverted self is waaay to embarrassed to keep going, he would probably text you to continue through text if the topic was verrry interesting

it was another study date with hao and as much as you dreaded studying, you knew this study session was much needed. after all who else can help you with memorizing the history of music other than Hao, who just so happens to be one of the best musicians you know.

you both were at a local coffee shop, sitting around a rectangular table whilst sharing it with a couple of other people. at first the study session was going well. most conversations that could be over heard sounded like..

"so in the renaissance era the "prelude" was the most popular instrument"

"instruments were also made out.."

very quickly those conversations faded out into new ones that were not about the history of music but rather about how he despised his new company and how they treated his members

"you don't get it y/n it's getting out of hand they show little care to some of the members"

"i know haohao but there's not much you can do, other than just support, love, and enjoy your time with your members"

"Ugh I just hate Wake On-" hao's sentence was cut short when despite him wearing a mask you hurriedly covered his mouth. at first he was surprised as to why you were covering his mouth, and he gave you a annoyed glanced.

you leaned in and whispered "you almost mentioned your company's name" you leaned back to your seated position and you quickly signaled behind him taking your hand off his face.

as he slowly turned around, to his surprise, there were a couple of eyes staring at him. his face flushed red and in that moment he was so thankful to be wearing a mask. he turned facing you covering his already covered mouth, as he nervously laughed "oops"

you shook your head still worried about how he almost revealed his identity. but now continuing to study would be hard as hao was now a sassy and embarrassed messed, you sighed but smiled, "my haohao is cute when he's embarrassed haha"

성한빈 - overexplaining out of excitement

hanbin is a really nice guy and would not think twice about helping someone in need

due to his honest and talkative nature he has the tendency to overexplain when he's really passionate

would gasp and cover his own mouth to shut himself up before you even got the chance to ngl

would read in his face that he realized he had taken up too much of the person's time

he would quickly recover from the situation and continue on apologizing for overexplaining

he would not really care if you covered his mouth he would laugh it off as he realized much before you did that he was overexplaining again

you and hanbin were walking home, after a afternoon dance class when all of a sudden your walk was interrupted by a young girl. "excuse me do you know how to get to this comic book store"

before you could even respond, hanbin was already taking matters into his own hands, leading the teen to the comic book store. you had to admit despite how tired you were, you enjoyed seeing how your friend was so enthusiastic about helping people. in a way, it warmed your heart seeing how good of a person he is.

as you neared the comic book store, hanbin continued to strike up a friendly conversation to the stranger he just met.

"so which comic book are you gonna get?"

"i'm going to get true beauty! have you read it before"

"of course i have, it's one of my favorite comic books and I watched the drama..." very quickly he began overexplaining the plot due to his love for it. the young girls face contorted into discomfort as she did not want any spoilers.

but right as you were about to cover hanbins mouth to shut him up, you heard a dramatic gasp. you whipped your head towards your friends direction only to see him cup his own mouth. "oh my- i'm overexplaining, im so sorry about that i'll stop" he explained while laughing off his bad habit.

the young girl laughed seeing hanbins expressive face change so suddenly from his realization. "you're good no worries" and seeing both of them laugh you couldn't help but also let out a small giggle. hanbin's positive energy was just so contagious like that

석매튜 - gossiping a little too loud

listen when Matthew is gossiping he is GOSSIPING

would take it so serious

like Hao would get so loud when he's really into it

unlike Hao though, Matthew would be confused why you covered his mouth

would be so clueless and unaware that he was being loud

even if you pointed it out, he would brush it off saying no one was listening (they were)

would be more focused on gossiping rather than the people around him

"yeah and apparently he knew his girlfriend was cheating"

"y/n, but why did he still say, he's a little dumb don't you think"

it was another day when you went to the mall with your best friend. unfortunately, there was a long line to pay for your clothes, but fortunately this gave you time to finally tell him the rumors you heard.

no one is a better listener and reactor than matthew and you finally had the chance to tell him, and so you did, you began to explain how your coworker's girlfriend was cheating on him. matthew was so interested, but of course his blunt nature couldn't be kept within him.

"i don't think he's dumb but i think he had his reasons for staying with her you know"

"BRO WHY THOUGH HE'S JUST GETTING HIS HEART BROKEN" his voice was much louder than before, and as quickly as he said the first word almost everyone in line turned around to see who was speaking loudly.

you couldn't help but quickly cover his mouth from all the eyes that laid on the two of you. which earned you a confused glare from your friend. in less than 5 seconds he quickly took your hand off his mouth saying "why'd you cover my mouth"

"everyone was looking" you said in a whisper, hoping everyone's eyes were no longer on you.

"no they weren't" you looked up in disbelief. matthew was always known to be "in his own world" but come on how could he not feel everyone's eyes on him. you were about to continue with your playful banter when you heard the cashier

"i can help you on number five!"

김태래 - fighting with his members

our favorite cute duck who despite his cute lovely face has anger issues

probably was arguing with one of the members again because he refuses to accept his height

would get really mad while the other members enjoyed the reaction out of him

you covered his mouth to not only shut him up but to calm him down as well

it worked

you were taeraes softspot and he knew when to stop from going to far

would stay quiet afterwards and just become composed

it was another day at the wakeone building. your best friend was practicing for his comeback in the dance practice room. you had decided to bring them all snacks as most of the members enjoyed them.

once you arrived you were greeted with Gunwook who opened the door, while nervously rubbing his neck. confused you let yourself inside the practice room only to see hanbin and gyuvin laughing as your bestfriend and matthew were bickering.

"you're actually the same height as me" matthew said with a proud smile as taerae began with his sassy rant.

"please im 4cm taller than you, you need to humble yourself, you are not the same height as me" taerae said each word growing gradually louder as he spoke. while it seemed playful at first you know taerae hates being teased about his height.

you decided to run over to taerae and cup your hand around his mouth from behind, in hopes the argument would come to a sudden stop. afterall you wanted to spend sometime with your best friend during his busy schedule.

as you cupped your hand over his mouth, taerae recognized the familiar fingertips touching his lips. and quickly swallowed back all the words that were about to slip out. matthew glanced at you, surprised at how quick taerae became quiet.

you let his mouth free and you proceeded to explain why you were there. while doing so taerae sat up straight and composed himself to fully listen to what you were saying. once you were done there was a bit of silence until Hanbin broke the silent void

"next time i want to stop an argument between taerae and one of us, i know who to call now" causing taerae to hide his face and everyone giggled at his unexpected but truthful comment

리키 - almost swearing

oh your sweet baby cat

listen he is lovelicky for the most part but when he is in his black cat phase he can't help but naturally swear

especially when gyuvin makes him question what he even is thinking or saying

you would cover his mouth, and after a second would realize he almost swore

would try to save himself and backtrack, explaining that he was not gonna say that

literally no one believes him but he's cute so we let it slide

another day where you were hanging out with ricky and gyuvin. while it was pretty relaxing at first, extroverted gyuvin could not keep still. despite watching a movie, gyuvin was still bored until he decided he wanted to livestream. he hadn't talked to his fans for while and his close friends were over, what a great timing.

you three sat around the bed, positioning the phone to fit all three of you. and of course gyuvin persisted ricky to read comments and ricky refused every. single. time.

"fine if you won't read them, i will" literally no response from ricky. you giggled at your bestfrind's cold nature. you knew he was a bit moody since gyuvin did not let you two finish watching the movie.

"ricky i love you' gyuvin said proudly and suddenly, causing ricky to jolt you and him up at the sudden comment. gyuvin quickly paneled the camera towards ricky for his reaction. as gyuvin waited expectedly, ricky responded

"what the fu-" before he could even finish his sentence you gasped and covered his mouth. gyuvin gasped too and panned the camera to himself to explain that ricky did not almost swear. and upon hearing that ricky gets up and makes a run for it.

he grabs the phone from gyuvin saying, "guys i swear i was only going to tell gyuvin "what a cutie". you and gyuvin glanced at each other smirking. you guys made eye contact with ricky and as you and gyuvin looked at each other again you couldn't help but laugh at ricky backtracking from his mistakes.

김규빈 - Laughing too Loud

he has the cute habit of yelling when he's excited remember when he started yelling while on a drive because he saw cheap mangos T_T

as loud as he yells he also laughs loud

you're used to his loud laugh since you both always laugh for anything.

eye contact. laugh. side eye laugh.

but in times when he needs to stay quiet.. boy good luck

covering his mouth he would either bite your hand or take it off and be EVEN louder as revenge

he's silly like that

morning announcements at school were already calling for all seniors to go to the cafeteria. you looked for your friend and quickly spotted gyuvin running towards you with a grin. he caught up and quickly the tall boy began with his pestering

"y/n we're going to the assembly right?"

"y/n i don't wanna go now i can't sleep in class"

"hey HEY lets skip it"

now that quickly caused you to whip your head towards his direction. he knew you so well. as much as you didn't wanna go either, you just had a hard time not following the rules. "no gyu we have to go"

he loudly sighed with a "ugh fine", and lazily followed you to the cafeteria. while both of you waited for the assembly to start, you started chatting away. once it did start though you made sure to pay attention.

oh but gyuvin could not keep still for the life of him. while your eyes were at the principal giving her speech, gyuvin began poking your stomach. when that didn't work he sneakily started tickling you to get a reaction out of you. and of course it worked.

"Gyuvin!" you whisper-yelled and snapped your head toward his direction. and then you heard it. the familiar loud laugh. to be honest you loved his laugh but this was a school assembly and his laugh was so LOUD.

you quickly wrapped your right hand over his mouth and your left hand held his head to hide him from everyone. you eyed him as he calmed down, and as you thought everything was settling down you hear your principal.

"y/n, gyuvin, after this assembly ends please come to my office". you couldn't completely be mad at gyuvin, it was just part of being his friend and in a way it made life much more fun.

"sorry miss, my friend is a little to honest" you let go and out of the corner of your eye you see gunwook flush red from embarrassment. "we'll leave now, we just wanted to make sure matt was safe" the woman let out a laugh and patted gunwook's back.

as you crawled past it, you turned to watch your friend. and then SMACK! one second the mascot was standing and the next second there was glass on the floor. the receptionist turned her head and right as yujin was about to gasp, you quickly tackled him, covering his mouth before the silence was interrupted.

you both eyed the receptionist and luckily for both of you she seemed scared of the loud noise. so she was not willing to check what happened, and quickly fled the school. you eyes your friend, taking your hand off and both of you laughed at the situation.

the poor receptionist would probably tell her co workers what happed and maybe you both would get in trouble. but that was not important right now, you had to collect your diary asap!

you always thought you were secure in your relationship

a lot of people swooned over jiwoong but he's been good at reassuring you that you're the only person for him

but lately, he's been busy filming another drama with seobin

and they spend all their free time together, doing lives and filming vlogs for seobin's channel

while some of it is for pr, you know they're really good friends either way

he's a hell of a good actor, you think

because watching his chemistry with seobin, you start to think he's cheating on you

you hope he isn't, but when he comes home one day looking extremely exhausted and as if he just cried – you prayed that you would be wrong

jiwoong kneels in front of you, and has trouble looking you in the eyes

he keeps stuttering, and then just cries

when you first started dating, one of the things you worried about was how well hao would get along with your group of friends

they were kinda, well, loud and too much

and you know hao is quite introverted – it's one of the things you love about him. he's calm. you're crazy. that kinda thing.

when you're all together he's usually mostly silent but he engages in conversation. you had assumed that when you all mingle and have your own conversations he holds up on his own.

to your surpise, your best friend let you know that he hasn't made an effort to get to know her even after all these months

that made you mad

the air in the car ride home felt weird. you were at a stoplight when you accusingly said

"do you hate my friends?"

hao just looks at you, and begins to open his mouth but is distracted by the sudden green light

without giving him a chance to think, "hao i've made an effort to be good friends with your members"

hao thinks you're being unfair, because even his partner doesn't understand what it's like to be an introvert

but to some degree you're right, he doesn't try hard enough

unsure of what to say, he nods and continues to drive

you loudly sigh and direct your body towards your window. you know this will have to be a conversation for tomorrow.

hanbin was taking longer than usual again today

you always meet up at the exit of building b of the university when you're both done with your classes, so you could go on a quick cafe date before the sun sets

it's been 30 minutes since he texted "on my way!"

fed up, you head over to his classroom to find him lending his notes to a girl. usually this isn't a problem, but it's who he's lending it to that irks you.

"baby, can we go?"

"oh hi y/n, yeah hold on somi's just finishing up with my notes"

thing is, somi likes your boyfriend, and your boyfriend doesn't see that.

you head over to their table and pick up hanbin's notebook, somi looks shocked she was disrupted

you shove his notebook in your book bag and start walking away, not giving her an opportunity to respond

when hanbin catches up to your pace he reaches for your hand only for you to swat it away

hanbin wanted to defend himself, but he deprioritized that train of thought as he realized you are 100% the jealous type

you set the phone down and hugged him, placing your head on his chest

his older sister commented: gross. block me next time.

so the "fight" started when he texted you that morning with

you hit him with a "let's just go shopping today"

he secretly bought a pair of red sweats for you

in the end, he beats the fashion taeraerist allegations (thanks to you)

ever since you started dating, you couldn't recall a time when you were able to pay for your dates

he beats you to it every time...and you feel terrible about it.

ricky extensively spoiled you, and all you wanted was to be given an opportunity to do the same for him

one day you asked him if you could pay for lunch this time around

"no. never. don't worry about stuff like that"

"let me do it just once, please?"

you didn't get your way, and you both walked out of the restaurant slightly annoyed

he deadass couldn't get you to come with him on any plan he made for a whole month.

he wasn't happy with it but at least you were

gyuvin had his head down as he applied pressure to the cut

he watched as you worked your way through the supplies

as you gently tended to his wound he tried not to make any sound

"sorry i yelled earlier. i just wish you were more careful. i don't like it when you get hurt"

he looked up to meet your eyes, you were tearing up

it was sorta clouding your vision, so you had to stop what you were doing

he leaned his head against yours

you're both in debate. and you strongly dislike going up against him because 98% of the time you lose.

he likes to win and then gloat about it later

academic rivals to lovers, if you will

when you finally started dating he stopped gloating at least

that doesn't mean he goes easy on you, he tries to give his one hundred percent because so do you

sometimes mid debate he'd catch himself staring at you and get a little distracted

your losing rate has since decreased to about 70% now (thank you puppy gunwook!)

yujin had issues with sharing way before you started liking each other

maybe it's because he has younger siblings and basically had to share everything with them all his life

so when he shows up to school with a fully packed lunch and extra snacks, and you dare to come up to ask for the pack of pretzels he had, he was hesitant

you did this every monday without fail and he started to get fed up with it

"get your own food will you?"

"i would but it tastes better when it comes from you" you say as you plop down next to him at the courtyard

boy was gobsmacked. from that moment on he was kinda smitten.

i don't know how either that's just how his brain works

from then on, he only shared his snacks with you

except for that one time yena from the upper year said "oh that looks good, can i have some yujinie?" and he gave the whole bag to her.

yeah you guessed it, your pretzel bag.

you were furious

he didn't understand why until you made a snide remark at the end of the day - something along the lines of "yeah you're only nice to older girls"

he bought the giant xl version of the pretzels to school the next day as a sorry

when he sees your friend casually putting their hand on your shoulder and getting closer to you, it makes him freak out even more on the inside.

and seeing you not mind it one single bit also makes his brows furrow

for some backstory, you two had been out and stopped at a local diner when one of your old friends that you haven't seen in a long time recognized you and asked how you'd been. but this friend wouldn't bother talking to jiwoong, only giving you the full attention and asking you a bunch of questions, mostly about your whereabouts

you being the kind person you are began conversing with them and sharing everything that you have been up to, such as meeting jiwoong

even then, you noticed that your boyfriend's facial expression had become more sour as he was either looking around or glaring at your friend directly

jiwoong then reached a breaking point when it had been an hour of your friend being there, along with the fact that you had barely spoken to him, he got up from his seat causing you to divert your attention to jiwoong

this all began when you informed hanbin that you were heading out to work on a group project with some university classmates, though he was unsure of how to feel about it

the main reason being that one of those members in your group had confessed to liking you and still having some feelings for you, though you still ensured hanbin about it, he had mixed feelings

one of his biggest fears was you leaving him for that friend if they tried to persuade you further about going out with them

"okay...i mean, i'm totally fine with you hanging out with classmates!" he randomly said, you raised your brow, "are you sure?"

it was then that his smile faded and he became a bit more serious

"maybe i am a little bit jealous...i know that one of your group mates have confessed to liking you and it makes me wonder if their going to try and ask you out."

you sighed, placing your bag down and wrapping your hands around hanbin

"i promise that nothing is going to happen. i know that they like me but i only have feelings for you and only you hanbin. ever since that day we met, i know who i want to be with and i choose you everyday."

you could finally see his cat whiskers form after he smiled at your words, "well that makes me feel much better."

you gently kissed him, "i'm heading out now okay?" he nodded, "have fun my love."

matthew was thrilled to hear that you landed a job with a great pay, location, and hours. he knew how much you wanted to get a full time job and now that you were working, he was more proud than ever

but as you began sharing stories about your workplace and the people there, he realized that you were often mentioning one specific co-worker

this co-worker was someone who had their office right next to yours and a person you found yourself conversing with often due to your similar interests

at first he didn't seem too bothered by it as he thought that you were just getting to know them, but it later came to the point where you were bringing them up a lot at home and outside such as dates

for instance, when you were out shopping, sometimes you'd bring out the "oh (co-worker's name) likes this drink a lot!" or "i bet (co-workers name) would love this!"

that's when matthew reached a breaking point and decided to have a chat with you about it

"(name), i understand that your getting along with your new co-worker but i'm seeing that your continuously bringing them up in every conversation. i don't have a problem with your friendships but i can't help but feel a bit..." he looked away, "jealous."

you understood and realized that it must've made matthew feel uneasy and were now regretting continuously speaking about them

"matt i'm sorry for making you feel that way, please know that it was never my intention." you said sincerely, he could only look down

you were watching one of your favourite groups perform on tv with your lightstick in hand, shouting their names for the fanchat

it had been a while since they had came back but their comeback was definitely worth the wait as the song had been on repeat everyday since it's release

taerae finally returned from practice and the first thing he saw was you screaming at your tv

"please not them, please not them." he repeated in a mantra. as he got closer to the tv, that's when he saw that group performing

he had been hearing this song all day whenever he returned home and he had already memorized the lyrics thanks to you putting it on loop

but to be fair the group performing had great stage presence and even taerae couldn't help but get sucked into their watching their performance

"oh babe your back home?" you said, snapping him out of his focus

"yeah we just wrapped up practice. what are you doing?"

you giggled, "oh, you know that group i really like? they just had a comeback and i'm SO in love with their new song! they just performed on inkigayo!"

taerae knew about your obsession with this group, but he knew that you loved zb1 equally as much as them, you had just been into this one group longer since zb1 had just recently debuted

he then nervously glanced at you, "well babe...have you been listening to our debut? y'know in bloom is a really good song."

seeing taerae like this was a bit cute, you knew he had mixed feelings over you saving this groups photos, watching their lives, and consuming ever content of theirs

and seeing how this group had a comeback, he knew you'd fall back into this habit and make him even more jealous

"kim taerae, don't tell me your jealous." you joked, his dimples showed as he looked away, clearly smiling in defeat

"okay yeah yeah i am." you got up and cupped his cheeks

"you know that you're the only person i love romantically taerae. they don't stand a chance against you."

"thank you my love, i love you."

just then the performance wrapped up and now another group began performing, taerae looked at the screen and back at you, "well i guess it's me time now right?" he giggled

"yup, you have me all to yourself." you reassured

you and ricky were on a date at a fancy restaurant to celebrate your anniversary, ricky went all out by making sure the place had great reviews, good service and delicious food

you were enjoying it as well, devouring in the delicious food quickly not wanting to waste any more time

but just then, a server came over to get your check. ricky being the tall and handsome guy he is, handed the server his card without hesitation

“babe you don’t have to, here i’ll pay.” you offered, pulling out your card as well. ricky chuckled, “babe it’s ok, tonight is all for you.”

your cheeks began heating up at his words but then the server spoke up

“excuse me?” you looked up, “yes?”

“i just wanted to say that you look absolutely breathtaking.” your eyes widened at the server’s kind words

“oh my...thank you.” ricky smiled as well, “they're not wrong.”

“oh you stop it!” you exclaimed, “but seriously, thank you for your kind words.”

the server shook their head, “it’s nothing. i couldn’t help but stare at you from afar. you really catched my eye.”

despite you enjoying the continuous compliments, ricky couldn’t help but feel some type of way about them, especially seeing how the server completely ignored his presence

as the night wore on, the server continuously approached you to say things to you. ricky noticed how you were living for the praises but was a bit frustrated at the server ruining your alone time with him

(also because he was jealous that someone else’s words could swoon you)

at the end of the date, you were driving home and ricky couldn’t help but sigh in the car

you noticed his sour expression as well, “babe is everything okay?”

he shrugged, “i don’t know, maybe you should go talk to that server since you were giggling at their compliments.”

you then put the pieces together, ricky was jealous, and you loved it. it was a rare sight to see ricky jealous but you were living for it

“ricky…that server isn’t my partner. you are. even if someone does flatter me, you are the one who makes my heart beat the most. you are the one who i’m with.”

you could see a smile begin to form on his lips, “really?”

“for sure.” he then softly held your hand while his other was on the steering wheel

the setting was perfect! gyuvin was at your house and you two were home alone. you were now waiting for the right moment to strike

he was on his phone, seeming unbothered and scrolling through twitter. it was now time! you positioned yourself up properly to begin the shenanigans

you got your phone out and opened tiktok to go to your likes, “gyumin! look at this video!” you shoved your phone in his face

it was then that gyuvin-or gyumin paused and looked straight at you with a blank expression

“what?” his eyes looking completely puzzled

“look at this video, it’s so funny!” he then pushed your phone away lightly, eyes daggering at you

“who’s gyumin?” he said. you pretend to act laid back

“oh sorry? did i say something else?” now his mouth was wide open with his eyes popping out, you almost burst out laughing but concealed your laugh

“uh, yeah! Who’s gyumin?!” he exclaimed, “are you close with someone else named gyumin? since when did you know someone named gyumin? give me their number, i want to have a talk with them.” he suddenly said in one breath.

“calm down! It was just a mistake.” gyuvin still seemed unsure, his brows furrowed

“y’know, i should be the only gyu that you know.” he pouted

you cupped his cheeks, “gyu it was just a prank. obviously i don’t know anyone named gyumin!”

his facial expression suddenly changed as he began laughing and pulled you into his arms

“how dare you!” he yelled, then kissing you gently on the forehead

you giggled, “what was that for?”

“just to remind you that i love you.” he murmured, “i love you too, gyumin.” you blurted out

“noooooo!” your boyfriend yelled, refusing to let go of you. You sighed while playfully rolling your eyes

“gunwook, i have to go.” you said for the thousandth time

“why don’t you just get tutoring from me?” he suggested.

“are you sure about that? You struggled on conjugating ‘to eat’”. you then attempted to grab your bag that was lying on the floor

“hey! that was a one time thing.” he whined, “and anyways, I’m not letting you leave.”

to put it short, gunwook was jealous of your new tutor as they were incredibly attractive

gunwook also knew them personally and the last thing he wanted was for you to fall for them

he didn’t want you to leave and tried everything to prevent you from leaving, but in the end, he knew you would have to leave for the lessons

“gunwook, i promise that nothing will happen between us. they're just teaching me japanese, that’s it!” his facial expression thought otherwise

“yeah sure and then what happens? maybe they’ll confess!” you sighed

“do you actually not want me to go?” gunwook then freed you from his arms and seemed more relaxed than before

“i don’t know, it’s just…i liked you for so long before confessing and i don’t want to think of someone else taking you away from me.”

you giggled, “yeah i remember when you chased after me for months so that we could become close."

It was then that you could finally grab your bag and say goodbye to your boyfriend, then leaving the house to head to your tutor’s place

in class you were sitting at your desk that was situated at the corner of the class, just scrolling on your phone out of boredom

you had a small break in between your classes and yujin had just left the class

as you looked up from your screen, you saw your classmate minseo standing in front of you

“hi (name)!” they greeted. minseo was the class president and someone who was very well liked among your classmates

“hi!” you put your phone away to give your full attention to him

“i was wondering if you wanted to head to the convenience store nearby at lunch since all my friends are gone today.” you knew minseo was someone who liked having someone tag along with them rather than being alone, and you two had recently began getting close with one another

“sure why not?” you grinned. just then yujin walked in with his earphones in, he noticed you and minseo having a conversation and slowly took them out to hear your conversation clearer

“great! want to meet up at the front door when the bell rings?” they suggested, “sounds good!”

“thanks (name), i really appreciate it.” you waved goodbye and minseo returned back to their desk at the front

yujin approached you, “what did minseo say to you?”

you shrugged, “they asked if i wanted to hang out with them at lunch since their friends are all absent today.”

knowing how nice you were to nearly everyone, yujin assumed that you said yes to minseo’s offer, but deep inside he was wishing you’d hang out with him at lunch instead

“oh, okay..” he walked back to his desk but you noticed that yujin grew much quieter afterwards, not speaking much to his peers and only when the teacher called on him

when the bell for lunch rang, everyone rushed out and you were the last to leave. but as you were about to head for the staircase, you felt someone softly grip your wrist

you turned to see yujin, “are you actually going with minseo?” you nodded, “yeah, i’ll see you later okay?”

“wait!” he exclaimed, “can we spend time today after school? I want to also hang out with you.” he shyly looked down

you chuckled, “don’t tell me you're jealous han yujin.” he looked up, “how did you know?”

“it’s quite obvious since you kept glaring at minseo the entire class, and now your saying you want to hang out this afternoon when you usually head to the academy.”

"i should be back at 8"

"hm."

jiwoong put his jacket on while you were sitting on the couch, your laptop in front of you as you were working on something. you were really focused and that's why you simply hummed when he talked to you. the dark-haired man took his key and was now finally ready to go.

"have a nice day, love you."

"hm."

jiwoong opened the door and went out, and he even walked a few step towards his car before realizing you didn't say it back. he squinted, wondering if he did anything wrong. maybe it's because you were busy? yeah, it was probably because of that. jiwoong took a look at his watch, and when he saw he had enough time to tease you a bit, he turned around to go back into the house.

you heard the door open, and you turned to look at it, frowning. who would enter? jiwoong just got out, it couldn't be him. at least, you thought, because your boyfriend was now leaning against the wall, arms crossed against his chest.

"what?" you asked, confused. "you forgot something?"

"i don't know... did you?"

a silence settled as you were staring at him in confusion, while his eyes were squinted, trying to intimidate you. when jiwoong saw you didn't understand what he was referring to, he decided to say it himself.

"i said i love you."

"did you really just come back to repeat it?"

"and you didn't say it back."

"...you're kidding me, right?" you said, tilting your head. you didn't expect him to come back for that.

"i will do it again and i'm counting on you to say it back this time." you scoffed. you found his demeanor funny and cute.

"why are you so attached to me saying i love you back?" you asked.

"what if i go out and then, i don't know, i get hit by a car or aliens attack me and i never come home. you wouldn't want me to die without hearing 'i love you' one last time, right?"

you sighed, faking annoyance, but jiwoong knew it was just an act and soon a cheeky smile was plastered to his face.

"i love you too, now go if you don't want to be late." your eyes went back to your laptop's screen, so you didn't see him come to kiss your cheek before finally leaving.

i don't see hao as someone who says i love you a lot. he shows his love through physical touch and acts of service, so him saying it is rare. it was never a problem for you two, because it made these words much more precious then if they were just a regular sentence.

that night, you were hanging out with zhang hao at his place for a movie marathon. you haven't seen each other for a while, and the movies were soon forgotten as zhang hao's hands started to roam on your body, missing the way your skin felt on his. hours passed as you were basking in each other warmth, passionate kisses exchanged, trying to pull the other closer to you.

it was getting more late as you started to feel tired. facing your back, zhang hao wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you closer before adjusting the cover on you. he kissed your temple and your eyes fluttered shut, ready to sleep. he confessed his love to you in a whisper, letting his head rest behind yours. you didn't reply because you were falling asleep. hao would have no particular reaction to the lack of answer, because even if it was a special thing for him to do, he never did it to hear it back. it was just because he needed to say it. you two just ended up sleeping like this.

it was pissing you off. overall, matthew was a good boyfriend. he made sure to see you often, and he'd take you to your favorite places. he never forgets when you say you like something, so he can go and buy for you as a surprise, or make it for you himself. there were so many things you liked about matthew, but one was really getting on your nerves. it was nothing really bad, it's just the way he would never wash the dishes after he ate or drank something. if he drinks something, he just leaves the glass in the sink and tell himself he will wash it later. spoiler : he never does.

you told him many times about it, and he always said he understood and he will start doing it. and he never did. sure, it was nothing, but the problem wasn't the dishes anymore, it was the fact he wouldn't listen to you. after a tiring day, you kinda lost it when you saw the dishes in the sink, so you guys got into an argument over this.

"babe, i think you had a bad day, maybe we should let you rest first and then we'll talk about it later?" he proposed. you realized you've been taking out your bad mood on him and you sighed, feeling ever worse now. matthew could clearly tell you were going throught something, and he didn't want to make you feel stressed out about it.

"i love you", he said to reassure you, but you opened your mouth at the same time to say :

"i'll be in our room"

and then you left him here, in the kitchen. you didn't answer to his "i love you" because you just didn't hear him. but it got to his head: why didn't they respond? are they that angry? guilt started to build up in him, as he was sitting alone in the living room. it's true he should have listen to you in the first place... you might feel like he didn't care about what you disliked and he doesn't want to be better for you. and the fact you didn't say i love you back...

there it goes, matthew was overthinking everything now. what if you break up with him? should he go and talk to you?

hours passed, and you didn't come out of the room. it's not that you were still pissed, far from it, you was just ashamed of the fact you let your anger out on him for nothing and you were just too tired you couldn't come out of bed. matthew decided it was time for him to talk to you.

you heard the door open, not looking at who came in the door, because you knew it was him. he sat next to you on the bed where you were laying.

"do you..." he started but he couldn't finish. there were so many things matthew wanted to ask and he didn't know with what he should start. "do you feel better?"

"i'm sorry, i was tired, and i know it's no excuse, i shouldn't have let out everything on you."

hearing you apologize, matthew opened his arms for you to come in his embrace. accepting the hug, you snuggled close to him, letting a few tears roll down your eyes. "i love you", you said, and all his worries are gone. "i love you too."

• taerae

plucking the strings of his guitar, taerae played a new melody he created himself. you two were sitting in the music room of your university. you listened to him, heart eyes as his voice started to sing the lyrics he wrote earlier. your friend taerae always let you hear his songs first. for some reasons, you noticed that nowadays, his lyrics were more and more sweet, always talking about some muse he was crazy in love with. you started to take the hint a few days ago, but you were patiently waiting for the good moment to ask him out.

today's song was once again, a serenade. he was not looking at you, focused on playing his guitar. at least, this is what he was trying to make you think, he was just too shy to look at you. you appreciated the song, and you couldn't tell if it was good or if you liked it just because you were hoping it was about you.

the song was coming to an end, and taerae sang the last words looking at you : i love you. you started clapping for him with a huge smile.

"i love it! it's amazing, your songs are always good, taerae."

as much as he liked the praising, that was not the answer he wanted to hear.

"did you hear the last lyrics?"

"yeah?"

"...and what do you think about it?"

"they were cute!"

"should i sing them again?"

you nodded. taerae was wondering if the hint was not obvious enough, but he just started playing the last chorus again, this time looking at you the whole time. when he said "i love you again" with his singing voice, you once again didn't catch it. taerae sighed heavily.

"what's wrong?"

"i said 'i love you'!"

"yeah, that's the lyrics?" you frowned.

"that's a confession!" he blurted out.

the tip of his ears were getting red, and a smile was appearing on your face. he hid his face in his hands, and you took them off to take them in yours. "i love you too" you said, making him even more red.

• gyuvin

a sheepish smile on his face, a bag full of snack in his hands, gyuvin is looking at you who's sitting on the picnic blanket, arms crossed against your chest.

"hey y/n!"

"you're 15 minutes late."

"how about we say time is a social construction and we forget about that."

"..."

shoot. gyuvin knew this wouldn't work, and he'll probably kick gunwook when he go back to the dorms because it was his idea. gyuvin sat next to you on the ground, while you decided to ignore him for coming late on your date.

"come on, i'm sorry, this won't happen again." gyuvin sweetly says, trying to appease you.

"what is the reason behind your lateness?" you ask, a disdainful look on your face.

"i may have forgot we were wednesday..."

mentally, you slapped your forehead because of how much you were tired of him. but, physically, you simply scoffed, arms still crossed. you turned your face the opposite way of where he was sitting, turning your back to him. gyuvin whined.

"i'm a human, i make mistakes!" he complained.

"i don't know if i can forgive you..." you answered, dramatically, and he understood that you were joking around. a sigh of relief left his lips, and he decided to play along.

"and if i say i love you, you'll forgive me?"

"and if i say the feeling is not mutual, what will you do?"

gyuvin's jaw was basically on the floor. how could you go that far! "i can't believe this..." he said in a muffled voice. you mocked him for the face he was doing, and gyuvin playfully hit your arm with no force.

"breaking up with you as we speak" gyuvin said, rolling his eyes.

"you're sure about that?"

"absolut-" gyuvin was cut off by your lips on his, giving him a small peck. he felt his cheeks getting warm and he looked away.

"maybe i'm not breaking up with you anymore."

notes: this idea was so so cute so when i got the request i knew it had to get done :D its a little all over the place but still!

jiwoong ;

leaving a cup of water on his side table and leaving a kiss on his forehead, you look at your boyfriend who has become bedbound with a cold, "anything else i can help with?" you considered yourself pretty brave to be asking that, knowing how much jiwoong liked having you wrapped around his finger and getting taken care of.

"c'mere." he patted the area next to himself on the edge of the bed, and you hesitantly sat down, curious of the next words to leave his mouth. "entertain me!" he smiled shamelessly, and you couldn't even blame that on him being sick. "jiwoong," you sighed, readjusting to face him better, "if you want to kick this cold, you need to rest. you don't need to be chatting with me."

he huffed, "what if i want to just stay here with you forever." the thought behind it was cute, it made you blush, and you couldn't help but cave a little bit. "okay," another playful sigh escaped your lips, "how about i tell you about my day and you try and sleep, and then we both get what we want." judging by the reaction on his face, he seemed quite content with your answer, almost too content. "jiwoong, you have to promise you'll try and rest."

crossing his fingers right in front of you, he held back a laugh, "i promise." getting a hit on his arm from you in return. "hey!" he joked, letting out a cough, "you can't hit me, i'm sick!"

zhang hao ;

"how did you know i was sick?" hao questioned when you showed up at the dorm. "zhang hao, you nearly coughed up a lung on the phone with me earlier," you shook your head, coming to sit beside him on the bed, "plus, yujin texted me and said he was worried you were gonna pop your eyes out with how much you were sneezing," a laugh escaped your lips, "i didn't know how to tell him that wasn't gonna happen."

now it was hao's turn to shake his head, "well you guys have nothing to worry about, i'll get over it." he paused for a moment as another sneeze ripped it's way through his chest, followed by a series of coughs. "i'm locked away in here to not get anyone else sick, so you shouldn't be here either." what he didn't know was you had a couple tricks up your sleeve, namely dayquil and lots of water. "you're always making sure i'm okay, so now it's my turn to take care of you."

"what if i get you sick?" hao let his worries push past his lips, and it was cute that he cared about you enough. "then you will just get to take care of me, and we will be even." you beamed, causing him to smile at your positive outlook on what most would consider an annoying situation. "you really don't have to," he trailed off, his voice getting quiet as he tried to suppress another cough.

"nonsense!" you smiled, pulling the dayquil out of your bag and setting a couple in his hand, "i want to, now i'm going to get you some water so don't go anywhere." he couldn't help but enjoy this side of you, it was cute, "i'll be here"

hanbin ;

"he just won't sit down, we thought you could get through to him better." matthew and jiwoong smiled at you, a look of worry for their friend, and your boyfriend, hanbin plastered across their faces. you made your way to hanbin's room, entering the room to see him wincing as he tried to put his shoes on. "where do you think you're going?" a playful manner laced in your tone, but still a genuine question. "oh, hi love, we have practice today." you only shook your head in return, crouching down to take off the one shoe he managed to get on.

"they have practice today, you have a sprained ankle, so you've earned yourself a day with me." as much as he didn't want to miss practice and risk falling behind, the idea of spending time with you sounded amazing. the long practice hours on top of the extra time he spent in the studio pushing himself past his limits had meant you didn't get to see each other much, so who was he to deny the opportunity. "you're very convincing y/n." he smiled at you, shifting himself back on his bed and motioning for you to come up next to him.

gladly accepting the offer, you shuffled next to him and leaned into his side,"i have my moments, but i also think you might be a little biased." a laugh left the both of you, "maybe a little bit." he pressed a kiss to your cheek, his own flushing at the action, "but you just have a very good case."

you got up for a moment, earning a pout from the boy before he realized you were coming right back, this time with his laptop in hand. "movie day?" his eyes lit up at the suggestion, "i'd love to."

matthew ;

[matthew] everyone's been working so hard that we got an extra day off :D do you wanna come over?

you smiled at the message, excited at any time to spend with your boyfriend, but you couldn't help but worry about how hard they'd been working themselves. you had seen all the late nights matthew was pulling at the dance studio to make sure he had the choreo down and you had seen the way it was weighing on him, so you were just glad he could have a day to rest; so you shot back a text saying you'd be there in 20. and that's how you ended up at their dorm once again.

"matthew-" you dragged out, walking into his room after ricky let you in a moment prior. a smile immediately spread across his face, "y/n-" he mirrored, getting out of bed to hug you, "what do you wanna do?" he asked, thinking maybe you wanted to go out. "i was thinking we could just stay in? i know you're exhausted matthew, you can't hide it behind a pretty smile." the pretty smile in question had turned into a sheepish smile, knowing he had been caught despite saying he wasn't overworking himself.

he sighed, "i promise i'm okay, but that sounds nice." you smiled, knowing you had won this battle and sat down on his bed, dragging him by the hand to sit with you and letting his head lean on you as you carded your fingers through his hair. "you need to take care of yourself matthew," he only hummed in agreement as he melted into your touch, earning a lighthearted sigh from you before speaking up, "but it's so much nicer being taken care of by you."

taerae ;

"i'm not a baby," taerae huffed, shuttering at the cold cloth being placed on his forehead, "it's just a bad headache i'm fine." despite his standoffish reaction, you could tell by the way he smiled when he thought you weren't looking that deep down, he loved being babied like this. "like it or not, i'm gonna help you as much as i can," you said in a hushed voice, attempting to not make his head hurt any worse.

leaving his side for a moment to shut the blinds, you caught a pout out of the corner of your eye, simply smiling at your boyfriend and his antics before returning to his side and sliding in next to him, "now try and get some rest." taerae shut his eyes for a moment, "you know you don't have to stay here with me." he breathed out, trying to stop a smile from spreading across his face at the idea of getting to just lay around with you. deciding to toy with him a bit, you went to stand up, "i can just go hang out with matthew-" before you could get your sentence out, his hand was grabbing onto yours.

"please stay," he attempted to drag you back to bed with him. "i thought you didn't need me to stay here," you questioned, a playful tone in your voice, knowing you were breaking his exterior down. "doesn't mean i don't want you here." if it wasn't so dark you'd be able to see the heat radiating off of his cheeks, but you had a feeling it was there anyways. "i see," you hummed, sliding in next to him yet again with a wide smile plastered on your face, "then i guess i can stay."

ricky ;

"ricky, you're running a fever, please sit down," you tried to reason with him but it was no use, the stubborn boy insisted he would just "power through it." but with the way he was wobbling from dizziness, you knew you weren't letting him go anywhere today. all it took was him attempting to put on his jacket with a little too much force for him to realize that maybe he wasn't okay.

"you know," he mumbled, "maybe i'll sit down, just for a minute." you only shook your head before grabbing him by the arm and leading him to his bed, lightly pushing him down and making sure his head hit the pillow. "feel better already?" you questioned, already knowing the answer, and that he'd be too stubborn to admit to it, but the small smile accompanied by a nod was enough for you.

"i'll be right back," you turned to head to the kitchen, hoping zhang hao would know where the ibuprofen was. "where are you going," his voice was quiet, almost as if he was worried you were just going to leave him there. "just gonna go get something for that fever and some water, you never drink enough water." you joked, successfully making ricky laugh in the process, getting another head nod before leaving.

by the time you returned from the goose chase zhang hao sent you on to finding ibuprofen, ricky had dozed off; he looked cute like that, you thought to yourself. opting to leave the medicine on his side table, you planted a kiss on his burning forehead, "get some rest," you whispered, despite knowing he can't hear you. at least you'd be there when he woke up.

gyuvin ;

"gyuvin, i love you," you sighed, "but what use am i to you if i'm also sick." the boy was convinced that you needed to be attached at all times, even when he was sick. you were happy to take care of him, really, but being sick was not your idea of a fun time. "we could be sick together!" he beamed, as if that was a genius idea that you hadn't considered.

you playfully put your hands on your hips, "is me taking care of you not enough?" he quickly shook his head, appreciating how much you had been taking care of him throughout the day, "not at all," he trailed off, "but i'm lonely and we both have nothing better do to, so why aren't you cuddling with me right now?" as much as you wanted to deny it, it did sound nice.

you huffed before muttering a "scoot over," causing gyuvin's smile to widen, "so you do love me!" he joked, getting a disapproving smile in return. "if i get sick i'm blaming you." gyuvin shuffled in his spot, turning and throwing an arm and a leg over you, planting a kiss on your temple "i'll take the blame, it's worth it."

gunwook ;

"how did i get so lucky," he flashed his gummy smile at you as you walked through the door, a glass of water and ibuprofen in one hand and an ice pack in the other. "you deserve to be taken care of gunwook," you mirrored his smile, handing him the medicine to take for his headache before leaning him back onto his pillow and resting the ice pack against his forehead. "i'm just glad i get to do it."

having left plenty of room for you on the bed, you scooted in next to your boyfriend, leaning against the headboard and letting his head rest on your chest. "try and get some rest yeah? the medicine should kick in soon," you smiled at the boy, playing with his hair as he hummed in response, feeling his breathing slow and even out.

you laid like that for a few hours, eventually drifting off yourself before you found yourself waking up to gunwook reaching over you, placing the ice pack on the side table. "feeling a bit better?" you mumbled, still opening your eyes. he smiled wide, nodding his head, "much better, thank you y/n." now it was your turn to smile at his cute demeanor and appearance; his damp forehead with strands of hair sticking to his, the way his hair was sticking up in all directions.

"anytime." you reached up to pushed the hair off of his forehead, "i know you'd do the same for me." he hummed, grabbing your hand in his and giving it a light squeeze, "always."

yujin ;

"yujin, you can take the day off, you're practically falling asleep standng here talking to me." you sighed, it hurt to see him like this. yujin was always pushing himself too hard, trying desperately to not disappoint the older members. "but-" he started, a pout on his face. "no buts, i talked to hanbin and he said to keep you home today."

all he could do was smile at the thought of his hyungs and you wanting to take care of him, but he couldn't help but feel worried he'd fall behind. as if reading his mind, you spoke up again, "you're not gonna fall behind, yujin you're more talented than you give yourself credit for." his smile grew as he heard your praises, "thank you," he said sheepishly, his hand coming up to rub the back of his neck.

"will you at least hang out with me today?" he asked, voice hopeful at the idea of spending a day with you. "i was hoping you'd ask," you smiled, sitting on the bed, yujin following suit.

at some point the two of you had decided to set up in the living room; a mountain of blankets and pillows adorning the couch in an attempt to have the comfiest afternoon to yourselves. the pizza you ordered sitting on the table as you found something to watch on the tv. "thank you again," he turned to you with a shy smile, "i needed this." you could only smile in return, "i know you did yujinnie."

zb1's reaction to finding out you're sick

제로베이스원- zb1 and their reaction to finding out you are sick after trying to hide it from them, lowercase intended, mentions of food, gn reader, not proofread, lowercase intended

i think it would be easy to hide the fact that you were sick to jiwoong

i give it 2 days max until he finds out

when he does find out, he would not be mad or disappointed, i truly believe he would understand why you were trying to hide it from him

his first priority is to make you feel better, so he would try to come over to your house, so he can make his lovely partner feel better

in the case that you don't want him to come over

he would be respectful of what you want but would 100% be the type to drop off medicine, snacks, and stuffed animals

-hao-

unlike jiwoong, it would be so hard to hide something from hao

hao is soo clingy so its not an easy task to hide that you are sick

when he finds out that you are sick

he'd throw a little sassy fit over the phone and say that he is sad that you would hide it from him

would go over to your house and even though he is a bit upset that you tried to hide the fact that you were sick, he would do anything you need

need to do some chores no worries hao is already doing them

want to get up to grab your journal, hao is already running to your run to grab it for you

needless to say hao does not want you moving an inch from where you are laying

you see hanbin he has days where he is clingly and days where he isnt

but hanbin is an enfj and would constantly check up on you

the moment you respond unusually late, he would already be knocking at your door

when he finds out you've been sick for a couple of days already

he would be so disappointed, he would be wondering why you would hide it from him

luckily even though he is disappointed, his first priority like jiwoong is to get you to feel better

once you are better expect a lecture on how you should not hide these things from him

he would randomly ask what are your symptoms?

once you tell him, he'd say "i'll be right back", and a couple of minutes later he would return with a bag full of medicine

he would take care of you so well, and even spend the night until you feel like yourself again

when it comes to matthew i feel like he would know that you got sick even before you got sick

you guys were probably out, when it started to rain, and that's when you got a slight cough

from there matthew already knew that you were about to get sick

he wouldn't lecture you in fact i feel like matthew would be sooo chill and relaxing to be around when you're sick

matthew would make sure to buy you the medicine you would need way in advanced

and when he takes care of you he would make a little fort for you two in your living room

and he would put on one of his favorite animes, and would also prepare your favorite snacks

taerae.. listen i believe in clingly boyfriend taerae, it just has to be real

so i give it max one literal day till he finds out that you are sick

when he finds out that you are sick and that you were going to hide it from him, he'd be so petty and slightly upset

our little duck has anger issues but it's okay cause its taerae!

he would be so upset because he wants you to tell him this things not hide them :,(

he would still take care of you of course his pettiness can only go for so long

but don't think it'll be easy

he would be a bit sassy and petty but would still take good care of you and give you all the necessary cuddles

so in conclusion don't hide something like this to taerae or our baby will be upset :(

i don't think ricky is clingly like the other members

so i think he would be clueless to you being sick but..

in the time when he does find out he would try to act calm and collected but our lovelicky would be a worried mess

immediately he would show up to your house bringing a doctor along

after the doctor prescribes you medicine, he would tuck you into your bed, and go buy the medicine in the nearest pharmacy

you being sick activates cute worried ricky :,)

he would help you with literally everything

he would try to feed you the medicine even though he's shy about it

would cuddle with you and watch any of your favorite movies, even if he's not interested in them, he would watch them to make you feel happy

i dont think he would stay the night over like some of the other boys but thats because everyday that you are sick..

ricky will show up with a new gift in order to get you a little distracted from your sickness

in a moment like this you're all he thinks about and he only cares about you feeling better

oh our clueless yet adorable gyuvin

listen despite him being a little goofy sometimes he would also be another member that you cannot hide things from

when you tried hiding the fact that you are sick it was.. hard

gyuvin is sooo clingly

so before you could even tell him not to come over because you were busy

he was already at your house, unlocking the door with the spare key

"Y/N" he'd yell and when you can't respond because of how sick you are, he'd look for you immediately

when he finds you and finds out your sick, he'd be asking so many questions

"why are you sick", "when did you get sick", "why didn't you tell me?"

when you answered his long list of questions he would assure you that he can take care of you, and that you don't need to call your mom to do so

and boy was it definitely an experience to put it nicely

he would make you soup and would help by feeding it to you

but of course your boyfriend isn't himself if he isn't pulling a little prank on you

he would feed you like parents feed their babies saying something like "here comes the airplane open wide", when you said you won't do that he insisted he wont let you eat until you do

and when you comply right as the spoon was about to enter your mouth he quickly feeds himself instead

you gotta admit it made you laugh and thats why you love your boyfriend

he always makes you forget about the negative aspects in life

while gunwook is so smart, i'd think he's a little gullible

i feel like the reason why i think he's gullible is because he trusts you so much so he wouldn't expect you to lie to him about being sick

so when you text him that you are not sick he immediately believes you

it isnt until 3 days later when he calls you unexpectedly, and your words could lie, but your voice couldn't

thats how he found out you have been sick and not busy like you said

he would say "i'm coming over in 5 minutes"

he'd show up with all the right medicine, food, and some flowers

but he would be sooo pouty

he'd cuddle into you, not caring if he got sick, and after those cuddles comes the worst part

the lecture

he would give you a lecture about how you should tell him when you don't feel well because he's here to help you not make you feel like you can't tell him :,)

after understanding each other comes the lovey dovey part

gunwook would cuddle you day and night

and he would read you any book you wanted to read

and he would also tell you many stories of his childhood that you did not know about

and you would rapidly get better since gunwook made you also do activity like yoga that can make your body more relax

so in a week you were already cured, as if you never got sick

your boyfriend is so smart so ofc he knows how to get you to feel better right away

yujin is such a cutie

he would be so clueless as well

if you tell him you're not sick he would also believe you and not ask any questions

so hiding the fact that you were sick would be so easy

it wasn't until after you got a little better and you only had a runny nose when he found out you've been sick

"oh you should've told me"

he'd feel so bad for not realizing that you were sick sooner

so the next time when you guys met up at the park, he bought you a gift as an apology

he would tell you that next time you feel sick to let him know so he could be there for you

yujin may be shy and awkward and times but at the end of the day he is very caring and gentle towards the people he loves

is so confident lol and has every right to be

during dinner, one of his hands lays flatly on your leg because you keep nervously fidgeting in your seat

he doesn't get why you're panicking because it's going so well

you're just nervous because you've never introduced anyone to your family, as jiwoong is your first serious adult relationship

while you're washing the dishes with your mom, jiwoong overhears your conversation and finds out he's the first boyfriend you've ever brought home

"but for the record, i think he's perfect for you y/n."

"i didn't want you to meet anyone i'm less than sure of, jiwoong is definitely the one mom"

is a fucking nervous wreck

literally can't think straight and scared he'll say something stupid

so at first, he doesn't really talk at all

you softly squeeze his hand from under the dinner table, just to let him know he's supported

he is quick to become friends with your dad

they bond over conversations of sports teams and weightlifting, and they disappear into their own world

the rest of your family arrives for the pool party

you're distracted by his sweet words you don't even realize both of you are being pushed in the pool by your younger siblings

matthew pretends to look offended and starts to playfully chase the culprits

ricky is perfect so he nailed it obvi! he didn't show an ounce of nervousness and kept his cool the whole time

your dad jokingly asks him if he should also bleach his hair blonde

you all laugh at the dining table as your mom hits your dad playfully

(your dad isn't joking) (in fact asks ricky to bleach it for him)

you wake up the next day to texts from your dad, it's a selfie of him getting his hair done by ricky

⠀⠀ kim gyuvin ⠀⠀

you're scared that your dad will scare the shit outta him

and for the record, he did

"h-hi sir, it's n-nice to meet you sir" while bowing literally too many times

gyuvin feels like his face is frozen in a forced smile as your dad asks him all sorts of questions about him ,,,, it feels like a job interview

he relaxes when you start drawing small circles on the back of his hand

in the end your dad says "okay you pass, you're pretty decent"

gyuvin takes it as a win and just breathes out a sigh of relief

you excuse yourself to go to the bathroom and while you're gone, your parents sincerely thank gyuvin for making you happy

gyuvin in return thanks them for raising such a wonderful person, and tells them that "loving y/n is the easiest part of my life"

you didn't actually use the bathroom, you just wanted to know what they'll say without you there :') you're soft now

⠀⠀ park gunwook ⠀⠀

is literally so prepared he STUDIED what your parents like by stalking their facebook and took notes while asking you detailed questions about them

just in case, made a whole speech to answer the question "what do you like about y/n?" (he didn't end up using it but he came prepared!)

lol the usual, everyone loves him

your mom barely acknowledges you during dinner and serves gunwook all the best parts of the steak, literally no one hears you ask for someone to pass the potatoes bc they're so engrossed in conversation with gunwook

gunwook hears you though and happily serves you a heaping, whilst responding to your dad's question with ease

your mom smiles at the interaction

at the end of the night he proudly says "i think your parents like me :D" and he's so cute because he looks so satisfied with himself

⠀⠀ han yujin ⠀⠀

(friendship only)

during your recital, your parents think he's some sorta dancing prodigy

which is true because he only started dancing a year ago

at the lobby, you and your parents bump into yujin and his family, and they commend him for doing so well during his solo

when you get home to check the footage from the recital, you're barely in any of "your videos" because it's 70% yujin -_-
