Jiwoong

So you two just started dating when he stays at your place overnight for the first time. As he walks out the door the next day, you notice that he forgot the t-shirt he slept in on your bed. You grab your phone to text him to come back and get it but before you press send, you come up with an idea. The next time you meet, you show up wearing his shirt instead. When he sees you stepping out of the bus, he smiles and shakes his head, "So that's where my shirt went." What he won't admit is that he thought you wearing his clothes would be really cute but he didn't know how to bring it up to you. So instead he left his shirt there on purpose in the hopes that you would wear it.

You've had a crush on your classmate Hao for ages but dude is really bad at catching hints whenever you try to flirt with him. One day you compliment him on one of his hoodies and ask if you could maybe borrow it cause it's your favourite of his. Instead of reading the room, he says that if you like it so much, he can show you where he got it from so you can get it yourself. One of your mutual friends finally has enough and blurts, "Bro, you could probably propose to him and he would still think it's platonic." That's when he finally realises that you've been flirting with him and, after some proper dates, you end up getting together. As a six months anniversary gift he gets the two of you cute matching hoodies, which all your friends think is cringe but neither of you cares.

Zhang Hao

Hanbin

When you invite him to hang out with you, he tells you that he's so busy lately that he can't come. But he still wants to spend time with you so he asks if you wanna accompany him to a dance practice instead. Watching them dance is fun but after some time you get bored just sitting on the side. You see his sweater that he tossed in the corner after getting too hot and decide to tease him a little by stealing it and putting it on yourself. He doesn't notice at first cause he's so focused on his practice but when he notices, he laughs and tells you how cute you look in it. Probably comes over to squish your cheeks and baby you. You still get scolded for taking it without permission but it's all just jokes because he secretly thinks it looks really cute on you.

Matthew

You and him are out on a date at a café which is much fuller than you expected and the last free tables are in the outside area. It's also much colder than what you're dressed for since you were expecting your date to be inside. After seeing you shiver, Matthew offers you his jacket but you refuse at first saying it's not that cold (liar). He insists until you eventually accept it and he gets to wrap his warm jacket around you. In the end you're glad he insisted because it really helps and you're actually able to enjoy your date. Matthew feels a huge sense of pride seeing you in his jacket cause it makes him feel all boyfriend. He probably tells you you look like his cutieful angel in it cause he's weird like that lmao.

Taerae

While on a car ride together on the way to a karaoke night with friends, the car in front abruptly stops causing him to hit the breaks quite harshly. He instinctively puts his arm in front of you. You're fine but the water bottle you were taking a sip from in that exact moment spills all over your pants. Fortunately for you, Taerae keeps a change of clothes in his car. Unfortunately for you, the only pants available are a colourful messy pair of sweatpants that really clash with the rest of your otherwise kinda fancy black outfit. Your friends all (affectionately) laugh when they see you but after explaining the backstory, it becomes the highlight of the night. Inside jokes about it are brought up even months later and it becomes a happy memory.

Ricky

Dude owns way too many dress up shirts and button ups so one time when you're getting ready for a date, you ask if you can wear one of them tonight. "I just wanna look as fancy as you do all the time." He tells you that you always look perfect just the way you are (what a flirt smh). "But if you wanna dress fancy, maybe we can try on some outfits together." After seeing you change in and out of some of his clothes, he has something else on his mind. "You know what? Maybe you would look best in no clothes at all." Date night is cancelled, y'all are staying home if you know what I mean.

Gyuvin

You're in the kitchen trying to get some snacks from a shelf after the two of you decide to watch a movie together. Regardless of how tall you are, gyuvin probably put them up way too high for you to reach I have a thing for gyuvin's height okay this is gonna come up a lot. When he sees you trying to climb the counter to reach it, he offers to help "since you're too tiny to reach it". You get defensive and tell him youre not that short but all he replies with is "Are you kidding? You'd probably drown in one of my hoodies." "No, I wouldn't, you're not that much taller." Instead of arguing back, he gets one of his hoodies and asks you to put it on to prove his point. Oh, you're definitely drowning in it but it's okay cause he finds it really cute and hugs you tight in it. You try to be mad at him but he's way too adorable and you end up having a big hoodie cuddle session during the movie.

Gunwook

You don't even have to ask for his clothes because he will offer his hoodie/jacket/etc every available chance whether you're dating or not. Just a constant stream of "Are you cold? Do you want my hoodie?" or "Are you sure you don't want my scarf?" He pretends he doesn't need them because he's "not even that cold". He's definitely cold but will never admit it and tries real hard to hide his shivering from you so you don't refuse his offers. You notice it anyway but don't say anything because you know it's his way of showing he cares. we love a respectful man

Yujin

This may just be a stereotype because he's young but I don't think he's ever properly dated before. So when you tell him you love the way he smells, he gets all flustered and happy. Like huge smile on his face and all. Then one day he gets an idea after you tell him you wish you could fall asleep next to him every night. From there on he always brings an extra shirt to change into when he visits you so he can give you the shirt he wore all day and you can fall asleep with it in your arms every night.

broken guitar - taerae word count: 694 masterlist

He's going to kill me, you thought to yourself as you looked at the sad scattered pieces of wood and wires on the floor that used to be Taerae's most prized possesion (other than you of course).

That guitar meant so much to him. When you guys were in high school, he would work part-time at the BBQ restaurant a few blocks away from your school as well as running small errands for the elders in your guys' neighborhood to raise money to buy his dream guitar. It wasn't just his dream guitar but it was also his lucky guitar. He had won your school's end of the year talent show with it; three years in a row. It was the guitar he used to ask you out your third year, despite your friends telling him that you didn't like those kind of cheesy gestures; you agreed because 1. you kind of had a crush on him already and 2. that was his third time trying to ask you out and if you made him wait to ask you out a fourth time he probably would have gone crazy (literally). And this guitar was the one he used when he had auditioned for the new music competition show; which he ended up winning and got signed under one of the biggest music labels in the country.

Before you even had time to figure out what to do, you heard the pin to your door being tapped in and the door clicking open. That plus the sound of the door closing shut and shoes being shuffled was enough to let you know that you were in trouble.

"Fuck," you muttered to yourself as you quickly shuffled around the living room to find something to try to cover up the mess on the floor.

"Y/N? Are you home?" Taerae asked as he walked towards the living room with his backpack hanging off one shoulder and a plastic bag hanging from his other arm.

"Babe, you're home!" You exclaimed as you quickly stood in front of him in attempt to cover up the awkward lump on the floor.

He raised an eyebrow at you as he moved to try to look behind you, "You're acting weird... What's gotten into you today?"

"Nothing," you squeaked as you continued to try to block him from seeing what was going on.

"I don't believe you. Move," he said as he softly pushed you aside and looked around the living room until his eyes landed on the awkard lump on the floor, "What are you hiding, missy?"

"Pleasedon'tbemad," you said as Taerae pulled the blanket up to reveal what you were trying to hide from him.

He literally had no words. He couldn't believe his eyes.

"I'm so sorry," you started as Taerae stood there in shock, "I don't know what happened. I was trying to clean around the living room a little before you came home and I didn't even notice it was there. I know how much this guitar meant to you and I feel so bad-"

"Stop," he said as you quickly straightened up and closed your mouth before another word slipped out, "It's fine."

"Taerae..."

He turned to you and you could tell he really was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt by giving you a small smile but deep down inside you knew he was pretty upset, "Y/N, it's fine don't worry about it. It's just a guitar."

"You just called me by my government name, it's not fine."

He just let out a small laugh, "I'm sorry. Okay, it's not fine but I mean I'll get over it. What's important is that you're okay. Are you okay? Did you get hurt anywhere?" He grabbed both of your shoulders as he searched your face and body to see if there was any cuts or bruises.

"I'm fine. But are you sure you're going to be okay? This guitar meant a lot to you..."

"But you are even more important to me," he said as he placed a soft kiss to the top of your head before pulling you into a hug.

the boys initially teased jiwoong, but you cleared the air and told everyone that you were just childhood friends and you've never dated

the boys reluctantly accept the story

but your legs are always intertwined at the couch, and your head is always finding comfort on his chest, and his arms are always draped around your figure

members are dumbfounded, confused, then disgusted. friends??? always holding each other like that??? in front of us????

taerae who was getting popcorn, throws a singular piece to the both of you after he sees jiwoong nuzzling his nose into your hair

"the both of you...get a room please we're trying to enjoy the movie"

"you're just jealous taerae" you snipe back, throwing back the popcorn piece

jiwoong giggles and says "taerae-ya if you wanted to be cuddled you could have just said so"

everyone in the room is laughing except for taerae

when members would ask who that is – gyuvin, ricky, and yujin (the ones that have known hao the longest) would snicker and giggle, egging the question on and insinuating that you're hao's significant other

"best friend huuuhhh" gyuvin teases, raising his eyebrows up and down

hao throws a pillow at gyuvin to get him to shut up

one time, ricky caught hao going through your old pictures together and compiling it for a sweet birthday message he was gonna send to you

best believe that ricky immediately informed gyuvin and yujin about what he was doing and he got teased relentlessly that day

the 3 other yuehuaz end up gossiping to the rest of the members that they have in fact, met you in person and that you are in fact, insanely gorgeous that hao is out of your league and that in fact, gyuvin said he found you stunning and hao in fact, gave gyuvin the silent treatment for 2 weeks.

hanbin asks for your help often to meal prep and cook at the dorms with him – it's mostly stuff that can be frozen and reheated for the week so that the boys have healthy homecooked meals to enjoy

it's grossly domestic, you'd think the both of you were in a long term relationship

sometimes, the members catch you feeding each other

hanbin would blow gently on the spoon before catching your attention by tilting your chin upwards, "how does this taste?"

he brings the spoon to your mouth and he beams when you smile and give him a thumbs up

in the summer, the kitchen gets too hot so you find yourself dabbing at hanbin's forehead sweat while he stirs the sauce

he shoots you a grateful smile, cheek dimples on display

"god, are you two married or what?" jiwoong grumbles as he passes by

you two just chuckle

⠀⠀ ♡ seok matthew ♡ ⠀⠀

you're his gym buddy and actually no one knows that you exist up until a few members started asking matthew if they could join him at the gym

you always greet matt so cheerfully, giving him a hello hug (you're both foreigners)

every time you finish a set you guys high five one another, and if you lack motivation he'll say something like: "one more set and i'll give you a reward"

"oh yeah like what, matt?"

"guess you'll have to finish up and see" 😉

harmless flirting is an effective motivational tool for the both of you

the rewards range from: a pre-workout smoothie treat or a signed photocard of himself haha

gunwook and jiwoong once caught matt staring at your ass :D not his fault your ass so fat :D

so it comes as a shock to gunwook when he hears you answering a phone call from your boyfriend, right after the three of you finished a circuit

when you leave, gunwook turns to matthew and says "she has a boyfriend? i thought you were the boyfriend!"

matthew has a shit-eating grin plastered on his face and says "nah we're just friends" and takes a sip of his water

he's like your driver, and you're the ultimate passenger princess/prince

taerae rushes out of practice the moment it's over "sorry guys gotta go, y/n is waiting for me to pick them up from school"

matthew calls taerae out for being a simp, while hanbin scolds matthew to leave the loverboy alone :(

taerae has no time to correct hanbin and just rushes out of there

he doesn't like making you wait after all!!

whenever it starts to rain too, he would leave the dorms telling members he's running an errand, when everyone knows he's just going to where you are so you don't have to commute in the rain

one time, taerae and hao were out to run an ACTUAL errand when you called him in a panic to ask if he was in the area – you were drenched in the rain and your phone was about to die

taerae of course, said he would come get you :) he also made hao move to the backseat so you could be right next to him :)

⠀⠀♡ ricky ♡ ⠀⠀

he's always on his damn phone, grinning from ear to ear or giggling to himself

when members ask him what's so funny, his face goes back to neutral and says "nothing"

the members don't know who he's texting and facetiming

while you were talking on facetime, ricky left his phone on the kitchen counter so he could make himself some food, and gyuvin took this as an opportunity to snatch his phone to figure out who you were

gyuvin was so quick, ricky didn't even realize it happened

gyuvin brought the phone to gunwook's room where they eagerly said hi and introduced themselves, then continued to ask you a bunch of questions like "how did you meet?" "how long have you been dating?" "what do you like best about ricky?"

i mean, you could answer all the questions but you had no time to – as ricky busted the door open and snatched the phone back

"sorry about that y/n, my members obviously don't have any common courtesy"

"haha it's fine ricky, they're very cute"

"cute??? cute you find them cute???" ricky sounds offended as he walks away from the two other members, shooting them a look and faking a punch

⠀⠀♡ kim gyuvin ♡ ⠀⠀

any free time he gets, he visits home so he can spend time with eumppappa

both you and gyuvin were the dog sitters and dog walkers for your building before he debuted

but he's getting a little busier nowadays, and his visits to his family home have been less frequent

you decide you'd walk eumppappa and your dog aiki to gyuvin's dorm for a quick visit, which has then become weekly tradition

the members just assume you're his significant other with how often you visit with his dog

that, and the fact that gyuvin refers to you as "eumppappa's eomma" and you refer to gyuvin as "aiki's appa"

the members don't know it's because you bought the dogs together

whatever tho, everyone thinks it's so cute

he's inserting you in the conversation any chance he gets

like when the boys are just playing overwatch or league of legends gunwook goes "ahhh i should invite y/n to play"

or when gunwook is trying food from a new restaurant he would excitedly take a picture and say "y/n would like this i should send some to her"

or when he's out shopping he would say "this would look so great on y/n"

or when he's helping yujin with school and he surprisingly doesn't know the answer, he says "y/n would know this, hold on let me ask"

again, every chance he gets. your name is mentioned. he's like an excited little puppy when your name gets mentioned by other people too

example, "gunwook i got ice cream - maybe you can share with y/n" and then he's bolting to his phone asking you to come over

the older members thinks it's adorable, how much he likes you

and when you actually meet the members clad in gunwook's sweater they all come to the conclusion you feel the same way for him

김 jiwoong.

jiwoong had been working on his latest movie project for weeks now, and he was starting to feel the toll it was taking on his body and mind. the only thing keeping him going was the thought of seeing you - his girlfriend. as soon as he spotted you, he ran towards you and engulfed you in a tight embrace, inhaling your sweet scent. you laughed at your boyfriends sudden clinginess, but reciprocated the hug nonetheless. “I missed you.” jiwoong whispered into your ear, you rubbing his back soothingly. “I missed you too.” you whispered back. jiwoong didn't want to let go of you just yet, so he wrapped his arm around your waist as the both of you walked towards his trailer. he leaned his head on your shoulder, enjoying your warmth and the feeling of being close to you. “you’re my favorite person, (y/n).” your boyfriend murmured, causing you to smile. “i better be! i’m the only one you’ve got.” you teased, poking his side playfully. jiwoong chuckled, but his grip on you tightened. he nuzzled his face into your neck, feeling content and at ease in your presence. jiwoong didn't want this moment to end, but he knew he had to go back to filming soon. “I wish you could stay here with me forever.”

장 hao.

hao had been practicing playing the violin for hours, trying to perfect a new piece. his fingers were sore and his mind was exhausted, but all he could think about was you. he decided to take a break and texted you to come over. as soon as you arrived, hao wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his head on your shoulder. “hey,” he mumbled, his voice tired but affectionate. "i missed you so much today." you smiled, running your fingers through his hair. "i missed you too, hao. how’s the practicing going?" hao groaned and pulled away slightly, leaning against the wall for support. "it's so frustrating. i can't seem to get this piece right." you placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. “don’t stress to much, hao. you’re amazing.” hao nodded, grateful for your words of comfort. he leaned in again, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist and burying his face in your neck. "i just want to be close to you, is that okay?" hao hesitated for a while. you laughed softly, running your hands up and down his back. “what do you mean? why wouldn’t it be? i love you.” hao smiled, his eyes closed in contentment. “i love you too.” you stood there in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company and the feeling of being close.

성 hanbin

hanbin was sitting on the bed, you busy with your books and notes spread out in front of you. he had planned to play some video games but found himself more interested in snuggling up to you. he leaned over, resting his chin on your shoulder, watching you study. “you look so cute when you're studying,” he said, pressing a quick kiss to your cheek. you smiled, continuing to write down some notes, trying not to be distracted by his affectionate gestures. “hanbin, i need to finish studying.” you reminded him gently, hoping he would let go and let you concentrate. “just a few more minutes,” he pleaded, not wanting to let go of you just yet. “you're so warm and cozy.” as you continued to work, hanbin played with your hair, occasionally pressing a kiss to your temple or neck. despite his clinginess, you couldn't help but find it endearing and a welcome distraction from your schoolwork. after what felt like hours, you finally finished studying and let out a sigh of relief. hanbin beamed at you, pulling you into a tight hug. "see, i knew you could do it," he said, nuzzling his face into your hair.

석 matthew.

the dance studio was quiet except for the soft humming of the music in the background. the sun was shining through the window, casting a warm glow over the room. matthew had always been a dedicated dancer, and he was constantly striving to improve his skills. but on this particular day, the heat in the dance studio was almost unbearable, and he found himself struggling to keep up with the rigorous routine. as he took a break, you approached him with a concerned look on you face. “hey, you okay?” you asked, noticing the beads of sweat that were forming on his forehead. your boyfriend nodded, feeling a sense of relief as you gently wiped the sweat away with your fingers. “thanks,” he said, his voice hoarse from the exertion. as you continued to wipe the sweat from his forehead, matthew couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort as he clung tightly to your side, holding your other hand in his. he knew that he was pushing himself to his limits, but he also knew that he had you by his side, supporting him every step of the way. “this is tough, but you’re tougher. i’m so proud of you.” you said, your voice filled with admiration. matthew smiled, feeling a surge of energy as he looked into your eyes. “i love you.” he said, his voice filled with emotion, as he took your hands and nuzzled his face in them, trying to smell your scent.

김 taerae.

taerae had been feeling down lately, and he couldn't quite put his finger on why. he tried to push through it, but it seemed like everything was getting on top of him. he just wanted to feel better, but he didn't know how. one day, while he was spending time with you, he couldn't help but feel a wave of sadness wash over him. taerae hugged you tightly, feeling your warmth and softness of your body against his, his head laying on your chest, his heartbeat syncing with yours. “what’s wrong, rae?” you whispered softly, rubbing his back. taerae shook his head. “i don't know. i just feel like everything's getting on top of me, you know? like I'm failing at everything.” you pulled back slightly to look into his eyes. “you aren’t failing at anything, you’re doing exactly what you should be doing. every day may not be a good day, but there is something good in every day. remember that you have my full support, taerae, no matter what you do. you're amazing. you just need to take some time for yourself and do things that make you happy." taerae nodded, feeling a little better already. his lips found their way to your temple, kissing you gently. then again, he put his head on your chest, feeling your heart. he knew that no matter what, you were there for him. always. you feel asleep holding taerae in your arms, feeling more complete than ever.

you and ricky were walking around the shopping mall, browsing through different stores. as you passed by a clothing store, you stopped to look at a dress in the window display. ricky, who was walking a few steps behind you, noticed your interest and quickly caught up to you. “that's a nice dress,” he commented, looking at the dress in the window. “wanna try it on?” he asked, now looking at your face. “of course!” you replied enthusiastically, already leading the way into the store. as you entered, ricky wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him. you smiled, feeling comforted by his touch. as you browsed through the racks of clothing, you picked out a few items to try on. ricky followed her into the changing room, waiting outside your stall. as she tried on the clothes, you couldn't help but notice how ricky was being extra clingy today. he would occasionally lean over to give you a kiss on the cheek or brush his hand against yours. “is everything okay?” you asked, noticing how he seemed to be holding onto you tightly. ricky hesitated for a moment before speaking up, “i just want to be close to you today. is that okay?” “of course,” you replied, smiling at him. “i'm always here for you, ricky.” ricky pulled you in for a tight embrace, feeling grateful for your understanding. "thank you." he whispered, holding you close.

gyuvin was sitting on the couch, completely engrossed in his video game. you were sitting next to him, scrolling through your phone, trying not to disturb his focus. as he played, he found himself becoming more and more frustrated, unable to get past a difficult level. without thinking, he leaned over and rested his head on your shoulder, letting out a sigh of frustration. you looked up, surprised by the sudden contact, but smiled and wrapped his arm around him. gyuvin leaned into you, feeling comforted by your warmth and presence. he continued to play the game, occasionally letting out a grunt or a curse when he failed to make a move. but each time, you would rub his back or run your fingers through his hair, reminding him that he wasn't alone. as the game went on, gyuvin found himself less and less interested in winning and more interested in simply being close to you. he let the controller fall to the floor and turned to face you, burying his face in your neck. “i love you.” he murmured unexpectedly, his voice muffled by your hair.

박 gunwook.

you and gunwook were lounging on the couch, casually chatting and enjoying each other's company. gunwook couldn't help but admire your beauty, from your sparkling eyes to your lips. without a second thought, he reached out and began tracing the contours of your face with his fingertips, marveling at the softness of your skin. as he continued to trace your features, he suddenly felt overcome with emotions and found himself clinging tightly to you, burying his face in your neck. you could feel the intensity of his embrace and wrapped your arms around him in return, trying to comfort him. “i'm sorry, (y/n),” gunwook mumbled into your shoulder. “i just love you so much and I don't know what i'd do without you.” you smiled softly and ran your fingers through his hair. “i love you too, gunwook. you don't have to apologize for feeling emotional, it's okay.” gunwook took a deep breath and pulled back slightly, gazing into your eyes. “i know, i just... i want you to know how much you mean to me. you're everything to me.” you leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to his soft, plush lips. "i know, gunwook. and i feel the same way about you."

you and yujin were sitting at the desk in his bedroom, working on your homework assignments. you had been studying for hours and were both feeling exhausted. as you were writing something down, yujin leaned his head on your shoulder, letting out a tired sigh. you looked at him with concern. “are you okay, yujin?” yujin looked up at you with a small smile. “i'm fine, just tired.” you placed your hand on his back and rubbed it gently. “do you want to take a break?” yujin shook his head. “no, we need to finish this first.” you nodded in understanding but noticed yujin was getting more and more restless as the minutes passed. suddenly, he wrapped his arms around you, burying his face in your neck. “yujin, what are you doing?” you asked with a surprised look on your face. “i just need to be close to you,” yujin mumbled, his grip tightening. you could feel his body shaking slightly, and you knew something was wrong. “what's going on? talk to me, yujin.” “i don't know,” yujin admitted. “i just feel so overwhelmed and stressed out. And being close to you makes me feel better.” you held him close, rubbing his back as he clung to you. “it's okay, yujin. I'm here for you. we'll get through this together.”

⟡ you do it to shut him up /hj. affectionately. this canadian man is funky and we love and cheer for him because of that. but boy do most canadians have something in common: talking. (as a canadian im allowed to say this)

⟡ in this case, it’s not storytelling or his ad campaigns, it’s about how he loses to you in mario kart for the fifth time in a row. for all i know, he could be cracked at mario kart, but let’s be honest, he would somehow go from second place down to eleventh within a matter of minutes.

⟡ matthew isn't a sore loser by any means, his whining about losing are mainly all for fun and to tease, but after the fourth game… maybe he does gaf y’know :/

⟡ pouty!!! also probably throws the controller, lightly mind you, to the side before taking a deep breath in and letting out a silent scream into his palms as the screen flashes with another loss for him.

⟡ kiss it better otherwise he’ll never play again (that’s a lie) (he’d do almost anything you’d ask him to) (whipped)

matthew leaned his head back against the couch cushion and pinched his arm to make sure that this was real as his character finally crossed the finish line. in eighth place. you looked over at him encouragingly, made a remark about how this was better than last game, before patting his knee. he threw you a scathing glare, whines bubbled up from his throat, and he leaned his full body weight against you. he didn’t notice that there was a tug on his shirt, the soft cotton balled up in your fist as you pulled, before his lips were on yours, his whines drowned out. it was embarrassing how fast he melted into the contact, eyes closed as he rested a hand overtop of yours, he’d never live it down.

✧ TAERAE !

⟡ a kiss like this with taerae would most likely happen in a slow, sort of slow, heat of the moment thing. but it would be a softer, gentle tug of his shirt. nothing too fast.

⟡ you both would probably be looking at each other already, coming down from the high of hanging out together before bam! it hits the both of you that “wow. i'm incredibly in love with this person.”

⟡ ngl… he’d be a bit too hesitant to do much about it at first. but i mean. that’s why you’re the one gripping his shirt collar and not the other way around-

⟡ he stares at you with wide eyes and a facial expression like :o when his lips are suddenly pressed against yours. but taerae recovers from the shock fairly quickly and leans into it, eyes closed as he kisses back with the tease of a grin on his face.

⟡ he’ll pull away with the biggest smile and pinch your cheek before going in to kiss you again, being the one to pull you in this time.

water dripped from his thoroughly soaked hair, trailed down his jaw and continued to dampen the fabric of his shirt, leaving no place dry as you both stood outside amidst the rain. he stared at you, breath coming sharp from his mouth as he looked at you in some awe. you laughed and in return, so did he. you cupped his face gently, wiped a thumb under his eye to clear the water, efforts futile. taerae grabbed your hand and tugged, nose bumped against yours, before he greedily took your lips in his once again.

✧ RICKY !

⟡ he’s insufferable istg / j. ok but you not be able to get away with this move properly imo without having some sort of built up tension. as in the type of tension to cut with a knife, the opposite of taerae’s.

⟡ ricky would be able to see you go in for the kiss from a mile away… he just. knows these things somehow and is prepared. he would have to be distracted enough, emotionally, in order to pull it off.

⟡ that or you wrestle him and pin him for long enough. i have such a strong urge to grab this guy by the necktie and shake him around a little. affectionately i swear.

⟡ despite the colder appearance, ricky is emotionally intelligent and he does have his softer moments. the aftermath of a fight would be the main scene i picture this happening in?

⟡ “do you even want this?” // “what-” // “do you even want us?” // “of course i do.” type of beat do you get me? you feel me? you hear me? set me freeee- erm.

there was something about the silence, weight undeniable as you and ricky stood opposite of each other. shoulders tensed, he heaved out a sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose as you dug your nails into the palm of your hand in a closed fist. you knew what was coming; the rush of doubts and worry that would spill from his mouth about the relationship and how he constantly felt as if you deserved better, how he was the damage. you marched with a purpose towards him, placed a hand firmly on his waist as he knotted his brows together in mild confusion, before butterflies bursted in his chest. the pressed collar of his shirt would need ironing later, crumpled in your tight grasp, but ricky couldn’t find it in himself to care all too much, not when he cupped the back of your head and pressed you closer.

✧ GYUVIN !

⟡ it would be a “did you eat the last donut in the fridge?” // “yes. what are you going to do about it?” // “get it back of course.” // *starts making out* type of thing.

⟡ we know this man has the best reactions to things so just. he flounders when you first kiss him out of the blue; like a literal fish out of water despite this not being the first time lol.

⟡ idk i just feel like this would happen so often?? like i see gyuvin dating someone with similar energy and excitement towards things (not to say he wouldn’t date you otherwise. man falls hard in general) but just imagine doing something dumb and then one of you pulls the other in.

⟡ “i can’t believe you just did that.” // “yeah well.” // *making out again* this whole thing is just. gyuvin coded imo. maybe im just sleep deprived.

⟡ when you do it however… he can’t do anything but stare are you with those eyes of his. you already know the ones. shellshocked, flabbergasted, stunned, electrocuted, astonished, etc etc.

you grinned as gyuvin flailed his arms before resting them on your shoulders, slumping into the kiss. it was sweet in a literal sense; you could taste the powdered sugar and jam that stained his mouth from earlier. his face was fully flushed when you pulled apart. you giggled and swiped a thumb at the corner of his lips, collected the last bit of your sweet treat, and brought it to your mouth with a wink before walking away like nothing ever happened.

✧ GUNWOOK !

⟡ omg the scene i have in mind is when you have to leave for a while, talking like a month or more, and won’t be seeing gunwook for the next while. he’s so intent on making things work out for all the time you guys are doing the ldr.

⟡ runs through a list of everything you’ll need to pack, triple checks everything with you, makes sure you have the right flight booked… you’ll have to pull him aside and reassure him that you’ll be fine and that he doesn’t need to worry about anything; doing all that is kind of a stress reaction.

⟡ is so jittery leading up to the day where you have to leave :( clears his schedule to the best of his abilities to make sure he has all the time with you.

⟡ 100% is seeing you off at the airport don’t even think otherwise. “you’ll call me when you land, right?” // “of course.” // “and you’ll update me with stuff you’ve done? And sec pictures of yourself?” // “sweetie-”

⟡ kiss him to shut up but softer and with more tears bc he will start crying and bury his face into your shoulder.

gunwook thought he looked horrible, face puffed up and nose runny as he sniffled and wiped away the tears in the corners of his eyes. you thought completely the opposite; there was something about the early morning sun that shone through the windows and highlighted the rosy parts of his cheeks and the small pout he wore on his lips. he opened his mouth, ready to go on another ramble before you delicately pressed your lips against his. the drawstrings of his hoodie were twirled between your fingers as you pulled lightly on the thick material. he smiled into the touch, eyes still rimmed with tinges of red, and held on for one last kiss.

to be honest, you guys would be a pretty chill couple. outside of casual dates or romantic dinners, you prefer to stay home and watch a movie together. kissing isn’t your thing, but you love sharing long, deep hugs with him. nonetheless, jiwoong would take amazing care of you, always checking up on you and comforting you when you need it. even though you guys don’t express your feelings all the time, you find comfort in each other’s presence.

% ZHANG HAO !

sassy couple!!! you guys give attitude and bitch as a joke but is it? all jokes aside, hao loves to help you in any way possible and vice versa. even with your busy schedules, you always find ways to make time for each other and go on dates. at the end of the day, zhanghao loves to lay in your arms and listen to how your day went. in your free time, hao would teach you how to play the violin or offer you his endless knowledge on random topics.

you and matthew are an adventurous couple. most of your dates consist of trying new foods, going to the gym, or sleeping. you guys would make mini vlogs about your adventures (the next best food bloggers/gaming nerds). anyway, you aren’t one for skinship but you have other ways of showing your love. matthew likes to leave you notes before heading to work, while you cook him his favorite foods for dinner. a relaxing but enjoyable relationship.

you guys would be a calm and collected couple for the most part. words don’t have to describe how you feel for one another. however, there are times when you get silly, and that energy radiates off of taerae. besides this, you guys enjoy spending time together doing nothing but watching your favorite tv shows and snacking. for dates, you guys would go to karaoke and compete for the highest score (taerae wins obviously because his voice is like perfect!?). you’re never not smiling with taerae.

being in a relationship with gyuvin would be so chaotic and fun. every day is a new adventure… what interesting journey will gyuvin embark on today? but seriously, you guys would go on the most fun dates; roller skating, ziplining, going to an amusement park, you name it. he can never take his hands off of you, constantly lifting you off your feet and peppering your cheek with kisses. when you’re feeling down, he does his best to cheer you up (and succeeds because who can resist gyuvin?). there’s never a dull moment with gyuvin.

hanging out with gunwook makes you so smiley. no matter how long you guys have been together, you still feel giddy and nervous around one another. one tiny gesture can make you blush. small things like taking a walk or sharing a meal are enough to convey how much you guys love being together. but honestly, y’all get crazy around one another. your energy bounces off of each other so there’s no stopping once it starts. he loves kissing you on the lips when you’re distracted to see your flushed face. being with gunwook heals your inner child.

yujin is so so shy around you. he never knows how to clearly express his feelings so when you tell him how good he looks or say something nice about him, yujin literally can’t function. aside from that, yujin likes to buy you small treats or write notes to you (loverboy). he’s not big on skinship because he’s afraid he’ll make you uncomfortable, but you love to hug him or boop his nose to see how he’ll react. when you’re unsure of his feelings, yujin reminds you that he’s only yours.

⇢ notes: i'm honestly not super happy with how a lot of these turned out, but i hope you all enjoy them regardless!

ZHANG HAO

you were leaned up against hao’s chest on your couch, his arms wrapped around you and his eyes trained on the movie you were currently watching since you both decided to spend your day off in the comfort of your own home. you felt warm and content, a soft smile finding its way onto your lips as you relished in the tranquility being with your boyfriend brought you.

absentmindedly, you began to hold onto his fingers, feeling some of the callouses that had developed on them from his many years of playing violin and from numerous days of practicing choreo that involved being on the floor. you traced each and every curve of his knuckles, finally making your way up to the pads of his fingertips, tapping them gently with your own.

you stayed like that for a few moments, absentmindedly making your own beat to some of the background music that played in the movie. finally, hao shifted, making the decision to lace his hand perfectly with yours, a soft smile on his lips, “that tickles, you know.”

“oh, sorry,” you replied, finally looking up at him, only to catch him in the act of his sparkling brown eyes soaking up every single inch of you. you blushed, looking down at the collar of his shirt as a distraction.

“it’s okay, you're cute, so it makes up for it.”

HANBIN

“there you are!” hanbin, your boyfriend, exclaimed, flipping the cover off of your side of the bed to allow you to crawl in next to him, sighing in content the moment you were able to feel his warmth. you melted into his side, resting your free hand on his chest as you relished in the moment of finally being with him after a long, stressful day at work.

“how was your day, love?” he asked softly, pressing a gentle kiss onto your forehead. you merely grumbled, barely getting out that you had contemplated quitting at least ten times throughout the day, which earned a chuckle from him.

you nuzzled closer to him, asking, “what did you do today?”

he smiled softly as he recounted his dance practice to you, as well as the lunch he ate and the walk he took along the river as a break. while he spoke, he grabbed onto your hand, lacing and unlacing your fingers together. you couldn’t help but giggle at him as he did so, turning your hands every which way in an attempt to keep his mind occupied while you held quiet conversation with one another.

“what’s so funny?” he asked, peering down at your face through his bangs, playfulness sparking in his eyes.

“nothing, you’re just cute.”

MATTHEW

you walked though the mall with your boyfriend, eyes scanning various stores before you decided on one you both wanted to go into. it was rather crowded, and while you knew matthew wouldn't stray too far from you, it was an instinct to reach forward and link your pinky with his.

you were unable to see the grin that broke out onto his face, but the more you continued to walk around, you tightened your grip, afraid of losing him in the giant crowd of people who were desperate to get their hands on whatever newest releases were out. he squeezed back, reassuring you that he was there, and you weren't going to be separated.

ultimately, you decided to exit the store, coming to the conclusion that it was much too busy for the both of your liking and walked down the main stretch of the mall. you began to pull your pinky away, but he gripped it so hard with his own you were almost afraid it would snap yours in half.

“sorry, love!” he was quick to apologize, but you could only smile at him, “i just like it when you do that, it makes me feel like i’m able to protect you.”

you giggled, slipping your entire hand in his, fingers wiggling to get settled comfortably, “no matter what you do, i’ll always feel safe.”

RICKY

you were sat on a picnic blanket in the park, the sun setting beautifully over the water and the warm air almost lulling you to sleep. your head was rested in ricky’s lap, one of his hands threading through your hair and the other in your own as you closely examined each and every ring adorning his fingers. you spun your favorite one around absentmindedly, stating, “this date has been so lovely, thank you.”

your eyes met with his momentarily, a look of adoration for you evident on his face as he replied, “i couldn't agree more,” lips curling into a gentle smile the moment your attention went back to what you were previously doing.

the silver of the ring flashed beautifully in the evening sun, the diamonds embedded within in it causing you to turn it every which way to see their glimmer in different angles. ricky laughed quietly, voice at a volume only the two of you could hear, “you know, one day i’ll put one of those on your finger.”

you swore you could feel your heart beating out of your chest, your eyes snapping back up to look at him once more, unable to hide your excitement as you said, “i can’t wait.”

GUNWOOK

“i never realized how big your hands actually are,” you said, eyes wide in awe as you held gunwook’s hand up to you own, taking note of how much longer and wider they were than yours. you were lucky for your hands to even be considered half the size of his.

gunwook chuckled at your words, folding the tops of his fingers over yours to show just how much room there was left. you could no longer suppress the grin that had been fighting to tug at the corners of your lips, peering up at him only to be met with his soft gaze. you felt your cheeks begin to heat up, quickly looking away from him out of nervousness.

“you know,” gunwook replied, shifting his hand to the side ever so slightly, “i always thought your hands being so much smaller than mine is endearing.”

he linked your fingers together, catching you slightly off guard as he did so, and he raised them up to be level between you both. he flashed his gummy smile at you, dark irises disappearing into the crescent shape his eyes adorned.

“see? they’re a perfect fit!”

TAERAE

“i don’t understand why i can’t seem to get it” you huffed, your fingers playing a stream of extremely out-of-tune notes on taerae’s guitar. you told him you wanted to learn, but for some reason, your brain wasn’t working properly.

taerae moved in behind you, allowing you to sit on his lap as his arms wrapped around your frame, “here, try this.”

he attempted to align your hands the way they were meant to be, but after a few minutes of you still not grasping it, he placed his hands over top of yours, strumming the melody to the song he had been attempting to teach you for the past hour now. you couldn’t help but feel a little flustered over the way his hands perfect encompassed your own, and you found your brain growing even foggier at his close proximity.

you always loved lazing around in bed with your boyfriend on days you had no plans. you never felt embarrassed by how clingy you got with him, because you were always reassured he would be ten times worse than you. it was honestly a miracle if he ever let you out of his grasp for more than a few minutes at a time.

you were content like that though, fingers laced together from the play fight you’d just finished having. your phone began to ring beside you, but when you attempted to reach for it, gyuvin refused to let you go. you laughed at him, “can i have my hands back?”

“hm,” he pondered for a moment, squeezing gently as he did so, a grin on his lips, “no, sorry, they’re all mine now. i like the way they feel in mine.”

“gyu~” you whined, “what if it’s a call from work or something?”

he couldn’t hold back the laughter as he playfully replied, “they can wait.”

JIWOONG

a warm breeze moved through the air as you walked through the park with your boyfriend, jiwoong, hands intertwined with one another and a peaceful silence amongst the both of you. jiwoong stole a few glances at you, taking in how pretty you looked and thinking of just how lucky he was to have you in his life.

he lifted your hands up to his mouth, lips brushing against your knuckles softly. you were able to feel him smiling against your skin, and you couldn’t help but look up at him with a questioning look in your eyes, “what was that for?”

“just to show my appreciation to you, is all,” he answered matter-of-factly, his loving smile contagious, “at least in a small way, that is.”

you returned his grin, this time kissing the back of his hand, catching him completely by surprise. you giggled, saying, “gotta return the favor.”

• Jiwoong

There you sat, back facing jiwoong after he requested for you to do so. Tonight was one of your weekly hangouts, spending time together on the couch while cuddling and watching a movie. Silence layed between the two of you not until jiwoong asked you to turn around. With a suspicious look you complied, turning around while rustling noises appeared behind your back, not until jiwoong asked you to turn around. His voice seemed unclear, so you quickly turned around only for you to see jiwoong gazing at you cockily, a pepero stuck between his lips as she wiggled his eyebrows 'romantically'. You laughed loudly, slapping your hand on his knee at the sight of him. Jiwoong chuckled aswell "kish mi" He mumbled, winking at you. You laughed softly, shaking your head sarcastically before leaning closer to him, slowly biting off the pepero until your lips finally collided with his. Your lips moved in a steady rythm, his hands wandering to your hips as you wrapped your arms around his neck. Jiwoong pulled away, giving you a small grin which you just returned, quickly pecking his lips before going back to cuddling.

• Zhanghao

Zhanghao let himself fall beside you with a tired groan. He just came out of the shower, hair still damp while he was clothed in your matching pajamas "Today was so tiring" he groaned dramatically, laying his arm over your stomach while closing his eyes. He pouted his lips in a kissing form, making kissing noises as a silent plea. You just chuckled, reaching for a small box from the nightstand. Hao could hear something rustling which led him to open his eyes, only to be met with a sly grin on your lips while putting the pepero between his lips instead of kissing him. "Today is pepero day, you know.." You grinned, beginning to bite of the small parts of the pepero, pulling away before your lips met his "Hey!" He said dramatically, pulling you closer while pressing his lips onto yours. You laughed into the kiss, pulling away slightly to chew on the pepero before pressing a loving peck onto his lips "Satisfied?" You asked while grinning. Zhanghao rolled his eyes playfully, nuzzling his face into your neck "Satisfied" he mumbled before the two of you fell asleep.

• Hanbin

"They're so pretty!" You exclaimed, looking at the bouquet hanbin made especially for you. It was a bouquet full of beautiful flowers and peperos. You turned around, intending to give hanbin the biggest smooch ever only to be met with hanbin putting a pepero stick in between your lips. You raised your eyebrows in surprise "huh?" You said, your tongue tasting the strawberry pepero "Pepero challenge" He grinned, his hands wandering to your shoulders before pulling you closer. The stupid grin remained on his lips, yet his eyes narrowed down to your lips. He leaned in, slowly biting small peaces of the pepero. When he was about to eat the last piece, he softly tapped your cheek which made you open your eyes. He gazed into them before taking the last bite, your lips colliding for a few seconds as you felt him steal every last bit of the pepero out of your mouth. You laughed out loud as you felt his tongue on your lips and pulled way which left hanbin chuckling aswell "Thank you binnie" You grinned to which hanbin just pecked your lips "You're welcome sweetheart"

• Matthew

His eyes wandered to the pepero box in your hands up to your eyes, raising a single eyebrow "Pepero challenge?" He asked to which you just grinned and said "Pepero challenge.". He laughed softly, taking one of the peperos before placing it between your lips. His hands wandered to your waist, pulling you slightly closer before he began biting down the pepero. As soon as he took the last bite, he gave you a sweet kiss on your lip, his lips forming into a big smile. Your snickered softly, placing your hands on his cheeks before peppering his face with small kisses "I can't get enough of you" you spoke in-between the kisses. Laughter erupted from his lips while he wrapped his arms around you "Me neither baby, me neither.."

• Taerae

Taerae opened his mouth, ready to sing the most difficult Highnote he as ever attempted to sing, only to be cut of by you pressing a pepero stick between his lips. A surprised sound escaped his lips as he looked at you with a mix of surprise and joking offense "Was my singing that bad?" He asked sarcastically, his words slightly slurred because of the object between his lips, which left you laughing. You shook your head "I wanna do the pepero challenge" You said boldly to which he just grinned while shaking his head. He put the pepero out of his before putting it in your, his hands wandering to your neck and cheek to hold you in place "Close your eyes" He mumbled to which you just snickered "why? I wanna see your beautiful handsome enchanting eyes" You said which was met with a sarcastic look from taerae. With one small glare from you quickly closed your eyes while mumbling "Alright alright spoilsport". Taerae just shook his head gently, closing his eyes aswell as he began to slowly bite of small bits off the pepero. Soon his lips collided with yours, his warmth flowing over to you as your joined lips created a smooth rythm. After a few seconds you pulled away, panting slightly while gazing up to taerae "Again" you mumbled dazingly to which he just laughed, shaking his head before pulling another one out of the box "Your turn" He mumbled, pressing the pepero between his lips.

• Gyuvin

You opened your mouth lazily, waiting for your boyfriend to stick another pepero into your mouth. Today was pepero day, but you didn't have any expectations for your not so bright boyfriend, gyuvin, to even think about doing the pepero challenge with you. You looked up from your phone as you realized he wasn't putting any peperos into your mouth anymore "Are they done?" You asked softly. Meanwhile gyuvin was staring at you deep in thought, he pulled out one last pepero from the box which left you grinning happily. How much luck you had for one more blessing for your taste buds. Suddenly gyuvin squished your cheeks together like a fish, putting the peper between your lips before finally biting down on it slowly. Soon his lips hit yours, pressing a wet kiss onto them "Ew!" You exclaimed, wiping his saliva off your lips "Hey! You can't just do that this basically means you hate me!" He complained, cupping your face before pressing tons of wet kisses all over your face. You squeeked, trying to squirm out of his grip while laughing. You somehow ended just being embraced by him, his head resting against yours "I can be romantic too, you know.." He mumbled softly. You smiled warmly, hugging him even tighter "I know gyu, I know..."

• Ricky

His lips finally met your lips as you bit down on the pepero. You felt romantic, so you bought some peperos to do the challenge with ricky. You put the pepero between his lips before slowly taking bites off it until you managed to kiss him. Who would've expected for you to end up on his lap, his tongue flowing into your mouth to steal the small parts of the pepero. His tongue was teasingly slow as he tasted the cholocate in your mouth, taking a few breaks to chew on the baked dough. You pulled away, panting softly with blushed cheeks. Ricky giggled deeply. He brushed a strand of your hair behind your hair, his eyes gazing at you adoringly "You're so cute"

• Gunwook

"What the fuck" You stared at gunwook, a surprised expression on your face. You took your toilet break for just a few minutes only to come back to gunwook laying on his bed with his head held by his hand, the lights dimmed, careless whispers playing through the speaker and a pepero between his lips "Hello lovely" He grinned cockily, trying his best not to crackle up. At this point you couldn't hold your laughter in anymore before falling onto your knees, laughing loudly. Gunwook chuckled before taking a deep breath to get back in character "Have you looked at the calender today me sweet sugar plum?" He said overly 'romantic' which left you laughing even harder. Gunwook remained serious "It's pepero day baby girl" He grinned, his voice deep and raspy while looking down at you. You were still snickering as you climbed onto the bed "Pepero day? I didn't even notice" You laughed, brushing a few strands of hair off his face. He giggled, finally breaking character while sitting up with his back resting against the headboard of his bed "You know what that means?" He wiggled his eyebrows smugly and you couldn't help yourself but laugh even further "Want me to do the pepero challenge with you?" You asked knowingly, raising a single eyebrow to which gunwook just nodded like a lovesick boy. You laughed softly, cupping his face before quickly biting off the pepero without touching his lips. You laughed teasingly, munching on the pepero as gunwooks face replayed pure horror and betrayal "No! That's not how you do it!" He spoke, quickly pulling out the pepero box before pulling out another one "Again" He spoke, putting the pepero between his lips. You just snickered, going fast again before pulling away. Gunwook tried to chase your lips but failed "So you hate me and want me to die" He crossed his arms while looking away. Your eyes softened as you noticed the slight sad glint in his eyes, signalizing he was actually offended "Ofcourse I don't, I'm just playing with you" You spoke, putting a pepero between his lips before slowly taking bites off of it until your lips finally collided with his. "No I can't do it!" You laughed, cheeks red while you hid your face in the pillow. Yujin whined, putting the pepero out of his mouth "whyyy" he only managed to say. It took him nearly 2 weeks to gather the courage to ask you to do the pepero challenge with him, so it seemed like a bummer you were just as shy as him. You sat back up, staring onto him "Close your eyes" You demanded swiftly, a shy smile on your lips. If it was possible, yujin got even redder. Closing his eyes before putting the pepero between his lips. You took a deep breath, bravely beginning to bite of small parts of the pepero. You hesitated slightly when you were close to his lips, but after a few seconds you pressed your eyes together tightly while taking the last bite. Your lips touched for a mere second, but yujin felt like the happiest boy ever. A childish giggle left his lips as he opened his eyes, watching you munch on the pepero shyly. He cupped your cheeks before pressing tons of small kisses on your cheeks which left you giggling happily "Thank you for doing the challenge with me" Yujin spoke softly, a shy grin on his lips. You giggled, putting your hands on your red cheeks "You're welcome loverboy" you said shyly.

you always thought you were secure in your relationship

a lot of people swooned over jiwoong but he's been good at reassuring you that you're the only person for him

but lately, he's been busy filming another drama with seobin

and they spend all their free time together, doing lives and filming vlogs for seobin's channel

while some of it is for pr, you know they're really good friends either way

he's a hell of a good actor, you think

because watching his chemistry with seobin, you start to think he's cheating on you

you hope he isn't, but when he comes home one day looking extremely exhausted and as if he just cried – you prayed that you would be wrong

jiwoong kneels in front of you, and has trouble looking you in the eyes

he keeps stuttering, and then just cries
