Katherine exhaled as her back hit the truck door, eyes raising to the gun that was pointing directly at her face. The military planned on executing half of their camp, a perfectly crafted list of people that posed a threat or had no means of contributing to a better future. Liabilities, as they wrote them off to be. “Who do you think slipped you the information?” Katherine spoke calmly, her gaze diverting to the ground before her. It had nothing to do with ethics, it was just as simple as a game of chess. She played into the hand of the side she believed would improve her chance at survival. The military was a mess, people with divided opinions forming a house of cards. She kicked the foundation, not because she favored chaos, but because she found out she was on the list too-- a second cull list they forgot to mention in the meeting. She couldn’t escape this place on her own, they’d track her down, so she decided to share what she knew in the hopes of causing an uprising. To hell with the military. She’d take her chances with the dead. 

“If it wasn’t for me, you’d have been dead already” She added, trying to hide the underlying fear that played her. “I gave you a chance, and I can give you another one. I know where we can get extra weapons, but I can’t get there on my own” @brklynbxby​

As she was talking he turned to bury his head into the pillow he was laying on. He wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to do here. Za wasn't ever really,...in this sort of position. He was always the guy on top, hard to approach, nothing but evil. Right? So how did he end up like this, looking at her again, he narrowed his eyes. Picking his head up, he turned onto his side, resting his head in his right hand then.

"What if it's not something I want to talk about?" Za is questioning, drumming his fingers against the side of his head a little bit. But it was a surprise to him, that she wanted to be friends. He usually had to manipulate people to hang out with him. And here she was, willing to do it herself. How was he supposed to deal with that, when he was, who he was? Moving to sit up he turned his head from her "I don't have friends, I have minions."

As the young woman replied with a Hello of her own, he squint, almost as if disbelieving this reaction. Most humans would have turn and run by this point, running into a complete stranger in the middle of a cemetery, at night. But who was he to start going around pointing judgments at people acting oddly, when he was perhaps acting far odder than her, to begin with. Dropping his head down a little bit, he tilt it slightly, his eyes flashing green for a moment as he listens to her.

"Interesting that you would think that a fucking cemetery is really the safer option here." Well, it was, actually. She wasn't wrong, but people had been murdered cemeteries, too. Even if it were minutely safer than out on the normal routes. Za smirked a bit, adjusting his body awkwardly. Then he stood straight "I'm certainly not. Disturbed, I mean." He knew what he was doing was to help his own master return to his rightful place, reclaim his own history. King Arawn, that was, the ruler of Annwn. One he was trying to revive.
