Transcend Game pt.2 -Kaiba’s Madness
Presenting my final animation project in college. Transcend Game pt.2  basically tells us how mad Kaiba went in order to get to his final duel with the pharaoh, and I wanted to animate that! One of my teachers upon telling her the idea, told me to emphasize his madness to the full, so..I tried.. I had to simplify everyone's designes cause I kept messing it up all the time because AAA details..and time...
TVPaint for sketch. Paint Tool Sai for linearts (tons of tons of frames to lineart AAAAAA) and colors. Premiere for composition. After Effects..well..for the effects!

A collaboration based on our ongoing RP with my partner-in-crime, @arcatsk . Despite Kaiba having issues on not believing in magic at first, he gradually learnt to grasp his hidden ability, his true purpose and the true evil that have been slumbered within none other than his close rival, Yami. More evil to come in the future from us~ >83 I am so happy to work you in this piece my friend!! Check hers here!! >> https://www.deviantart.com/arcatsk/art/Collab-Light-of-Hope-925477863 ---- Sketch/Pose idea - @arcatsk Lineart/Colouring - Both Final Rendering - @arcatsk

It's Kaiba's birthday and I've never tried to draw something so quickly in my LIFE. If that cake did not have a candle, Mokuba would absolutely shove it into his brother's face and none of you can convince me otherwise.

Probably one of the CUTEST puzzleshipping AU’s I’ve ever read! Don’t read if you’re not a big fan of snakes, but otherwise an amazing story!
Fic Summary:
Prompts: “Wow, my pet snake looks so cute this morning and I’d be even happier if I actually had a pet snake.” & “You curse under your breath in a foreign language and I know I shouldn’t be turned on but I totally am.”

Corny Pickup Line #4
“When [the gods] made you they were showing off.”
Atem smiled. Yugi’s enthusiasm was always catching, but as he bounced around the museum, Atem felt a warmth in his chest he couldn’t describe. It was probably at knowing how much Yugi respected and appreciated his heritage. Knowing where he came from was one thing, but to see Yugi take such an eager interest in learning every little detail was heartwarming to him. Yugi had allowed him to see every bit of his own past, and now that Atem had the opportunity to share his, Yugi relished it with such fervor that even Atem had a hard time keeping up with his boyfriend’s questions.
“So, if you look over here,” Atem said, reaching his hand out for Yugi’s. When Yugi took it with a smile, Atem led him over to the next display. “These tablets tell the story of creation. ”
Yugi stepped up to the glass display and looked up with wide eyes.
“Well, one of them, at least,” Atem finished with a chuckle.
“Who is that?” he asked, pointing to a statue of a tall, slender man he assumed was a god.
“Re. He is said to be the god of creation,” Atem answered, coming up behind Yugi and wrapping his arms around him. “One of many that people of my land believed in.”
“What are the goddesses doing in the painting next to him?” Yugi asked, pointing to another portion of the exhibit.
Atem smiled and kissed Yugi’s neck. He received a delighted giggle in response.
“They are pouring waters around the sun as it emerges from the earth in its creation,” Atem said, holding him close.
“Why do they need to do that?”
Atem nuzzled his nose into Yugi’s neck again. “So many questions, Aibou. What am I to do with you?”
Yugi smiled and squeezed Atem’s hand. “Is it wrong for me to want to know more about your first life?”
“No,” Atem whispered as he kissed his neck again.
“So, tell me what the hieroglyphics say about creation then?” Yugi asked, flashing his earnest eyes at Atem as he leaned away from their embrace.
Atem smiled. “I’ve told you my name is derived from that of the sun god, Atum?”
Yugi smiled. “Yes, of course I remember. I like that a lot.”
Atem tilted his head. “Why’s that?”
“You shine brighter than the sun to me,” Yugi answered, stroking Atem’s cheek tenderly.
Atem smiled at him, affection pouring into his expression. “Very sweet, but can I answer your question?”
Yugi nodded eagerly.
Atem led him to more tablets and paintings of various gods, open fields, and more interpretations of the sun.
“He created himself from the same river that the earth was born of,” he explained. “He created the other gods, and many are credited with creating the world out of this river such as Shu and Tefnut. They gave birth to it.”
“So then, where does Atum come into play later in the stories?” Yugi asked.
“He is the father of all the gods, and therefore, of all the Pharaoh’s.”
Yugi smiled.
“And he makes the sun rise in the east and set in the west. All the people of the world, the movement of the sun in the sky, the crowning of kings, and the creation of the world itself was set into motion by him.”
“You are his child, then?”
Atem nodded. “I was called that, yes. As was my father, and his, and so on. He was the one I had to pray to on my coronation day.”
“I wish I could have seen you in your royal garb on that day,” Yugi said with a subtle sadness.
Atem squeezed Yugi’s hand. “On top of being the first being to ever exist and setting it all in motion, he is the one we looked to for balance of all.”
Atem punctuated this with a kiss of Yugi’s hand.
Yugi stared at the tablets for another silent minute, which was unusual for him that day. Atem put a hand on his lower back. Yugi leaned into his touch.
“Everything is of him?” Yugi asked after another moment or two.
Atem nodded. “With each generation, the earth became more balanced with what it needed. Water, grass, atmosphere, the fields…everything fall into place as his children were created.”
“What about people?”
“What about them?”
Yugi shifted. “I’m not a Pharaoh,” he said. “So who created people like me?”
Atem smiled and lifted Yugi’s chin gently. “Who said you couldn’t have been created by the gods?”
Yugi shrugged. “I’m just wondering.”
Atem put an arm around Yugi’s shoulders. “People came after the gods had their children with all of their melodrama,” he said with a flick of his wrist. Yugi chuckled. “Humans are too far down the line for any deity status.”
Yugi nodded. “That’s what I got from what you said.”
“I’ve had a thought or two about that since I was able to come back to life,” Atem said.
“Oh?”
The arm around Yugi’s shoulders pulled him close. “The gods of creation, birth and life were all apart of my rebirth,” he said. “And until now, they have been simply observers of life on Earth.”
Yugi tilted his head, listening intently.
“But what compelled them to come out of hiding? What made them pause in their efforts to allow mortals to regulate their Earth? Then it hit me.”
“What did?” Yugi asked.
“It was you.”
“Me?”
“Well, the prophesies, I’m sure. But their work had to start with you to fulfil them.”
“What do you mean?”
“You have been touched by gods,” Atem said, a softness conveyed in his eyes that made Yugi feel weak in the knees.
“I’m not so sure about that,” Yugi mumbled.
“How else can your beauty and your heart be explained? You had to have been created by the gods in order to be so perfect,” Atem said, holding up Yugi’s hand and kissing it intermittently as he spoke.
Yugi’s face took on a deep crimson that rivaled the color of Atem’s eyes.
“Why me?”
Atem held Yugi’s face in his hands and kissed each of his cheeks slowly and tenderly.
“When the gods made you, they were showing off.”
Yugi rolled his eyes. “Did you prepare that?”
“And if I did?”
“Then I’ll know you’re just saying pretty things to make me feel good.”
“And if I’m telling the truth?” Atem asked playfully.
Yugi leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. Both men wrapped their arms around each other’s shoulders. Lips danced tenderly against each other, touching with a feather light touch even as they pressed together closer and closer as if to merge their faces together until they parted.
“Then I’d still say you’re exaggerating, but I’ll let you believe it,” Yugi said.
“I believe it with all of my heart, Aibou.”
“It’s still corny to say.”
“Well, Aibou, sometimes the truth doesn’t sound very real. But when it comes to you…you transcend all logic. Your existence has to have been by the gods who wanted to gift their world with someone magnificent. They flexed their powers and I get to behold your beauty every day.”
Yugi rolled his eyes again, harder this time and laughed. “You’re laying it on pretty thick, today, Other Me.”
Atem shrugged. “You’re excited about all of this stuff and I’m excited about you.” He winked. “We each get to have something we’re passionate about.”
Yugi looked back at the tablets, this time with another smile.
“It’s so cool how you remember all of this stuff now,” he said with awe.
“You think that feels good? You amaze me every day with your bright spirit and kindness.”
“Do you want something from me, or are you just naturally this over the top?” Yugi asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Hey, these tablets say I’m of the gods myself,” Atem said with a smirk. “My powers could be a mystery.”
Yugi kissed him on the lips again, silencing the former king and sending his mind into a tizzy.
Yugi smirked when he saw the dazed look in his boyfriend’s eyes. “Well, I guess you must be right. I’m touched by the gods, and I think I know my power. “
“Use it wisely, Aibou,” Atem said when he finally found his words again. “Whatever it takes for you to believe me.”
