Concerning Sprigatito’s evolution into Floragato, what do you think it was from the viewpoint of the creators that allowed her to evolve in spite of the apparent marketability of the prior stage over the later ones?

I think someone was able to argue it would be a good way of showing Sprigatito and Liko's personal growth together, and they're getting closer to Rayquaza, the truth, and becoming more mature in a healthy way.

I'm honestly a bit surprised as they usually like to keep the girl's partners smol cute beans, but considering how much of Horizons is about Liko, Roy and Dot's personal growth, as they stand at that early cusp into maturity, it makes sense?

Now if we get Fuecoco to evolve, I think it will stop at Crocolar, but mostly so it can keep dancing, as Skeledirge seems to mostly be on four legs, and they've made Roy and Fuecoco's thing cheerleading/dancing.

Do you think we’ll see any of the Pokemon contest circuit in Horizons? If so, who do you think will take part in it in the main cast? If not, why aren’t contests featured in the anime like they used to be?

I don't think we will.

Because the games, last I checked, phased out the concept.

And because Horizons is Indiana Jones/Adventure Pulp.

Making the assumption that Terastalization requires specialized training, exactly WHAT is it about Terastalization that would require said specialized training? The anime hasn’t made mention of anything beyond a type change and a boost to certain moves as far as I’m aware and what we do know about Terastalization from other material doesn’t provide anything either.

Assume that it requires shonen manga style martial arts training or learning to achieve mental concentration, similar to say Ultra Instinct or Clear Mind.

Charizard’s flames aren’t enough either, as Ash has canonically survived being burned by his Charizard despite the flames being hot enough to melt boulders. If it were enough to kill you, a Charizard wouldn’t turn their flames on a weaker opponent. Why not see how well you’d do in the Pokemon World before trying to test fruitless ways to die?

If dueling burns their life energy away, then why do the Velgearans continue to duel? They could just live eternal lives free of any sort of dueling and go back to what they were doing before that with the knowledge that they won’t get permanently hurt by it then duel if they feel bored of life and want to end it. Any dueling on their part feels like an intentional suicide at this point.

Because Dueling was expression of freedom from their designed purpose of being war machines.

Japanese media puts a bit of a honorable nobility in doing things that cause you to burn your life short.

How is it fair that GX has gotten only O'Brien among all the duelist packs?

Booster Packs have generally been pretty decent at supplying support or the most recent waves from 1 or 2 series ago have been up to Konami's snuff.

I imagine Arcana Force isn't terribly high on Konami's list of things to support because it's a gamble Deck with a problematic ace (The World).

Asuka's Cyber Angels are a solid engine with no major need at the moment to update.

Armed Dragon was a fine support wave.

It's just probably Konami doesn't see the point when GX has gotten solid juicing by other means in their perception.

Why is it that the recent Hybridrive stuff feels so incredibly lackluster? The effects of the lower levels are a bit too restrictive for actual utility, the ace is a pop for an incredibly specific cost, the fusion spell is WAY overcosted for fusion spells of its caliber(Wonder Fusion and the Music Princess fusion spell) and they don’t even have a fusion monster of their own! Konami could at least have the decency to give us something to be excited for beyond the High Tech/Jointech boss whose effect is only live on the turn it came out.

It's the first wave of support. I tend to not expect much out of those as they're more set up and proof of concept. Though friends have said while it looks weak it's a big ridiculous.

And it probably wouldn't have a Fusion Monster of its own if its Damamu's Deck that uses their siblings' aces together, and has 3 Fusion Monsters already.

And is probably asking you to use Good Stuff from LIGHT Dragon and EARTH Machine cards that already exists.

Why did they errata Summon Sorceress instead of make a retrain with the errata effect? There is no point to making a card go off the banlist with an effect that makes no one want to use it. It might as well stay on the banlist if they don’t want it used like it was before.

Shueisha probably wanted it off the list since it's their promo card.

How much of an attachment could a trainer have with a Pokemon after only 12 episodes of being with said Pokemon? Because it seems odd that Ash would have such significant trader’s remorse after trading with the gentleman, especially since the very act of trading Pokemon you’ve been partnered with for a long time is essentially normalized in this world.

In the anime, Trading seems to come off as something you don't do, typically.

The bond you make with a Pokemon to catch it is something special, etc.

If magic in the world of Sousou no Frieren is based on imagination to the point where someone like Ubel can basically ignore defensive enchantments on the grounds of “It’s just cloth,” then why isn’t it common practice for mages to teach their students to basically disregard common sense when practicing magic? It’s basically a hindrance to any magic cast since it impacts the very thing it’s based around.

To be honest, I just assume Ubel's a prodigy and the way she does magic conflicts with most known theory at this point and time.
