Summary:
Yue had woken in this strange world expecting to be the moon spirit, now inhabiting another girl's life who seemed to look exactly like her. She becomes entrenched in a strange conspiracy that threatens to unravel the lives of this dead girl's friends and family, and searches for someone to teach her how to control this new power the moon has gifted her, as well as becoming closer with Suki, leader of punk rock band the Kyoshi warriors.

“I’m keeping my promise, you know,” is the first thing Yue says when Katara opens the door, breezing into the apartment with a trail of perfume in her wake.
Katara swings the door shut and smirks down at Yue, who’s draped herself across the couch before even kicking off her shoes. “Hi back. Which promise is this?”
Yue is playing with one of her hoop earrings. She smirks back at Katara, mouth glossy. “While I was sick I promised myself that if I survived, if I ever get to go out again, I would drink a lot and go home with someone.”
“You were sick for like, a week,” Katara points out as she returns to what she was doing before Yue knocked. “You want me to cut up a lime for yours?”
“Only if you’re already doing it—and you’re always so focused on details, Katara. I could’ve been deathly ill, you don’t know.”
“You’re right. This is definitely different from any other weekend, and you definitely don’t rage every time we go out,” Katara acquiesces, handing Yue her drink. Yue lifts her legs up and plops them back down in Katara’s lap once she’s seated.
“Exactly. You get it. Hey, do you know if Suki’s coming to pregame too?”
“I think she’s getting ready at Toph’s and then we’re meeting them out. Why?”
“No reason.”

I'm going to post a couple of pictures in connection to my atla/Life is Strange AU fic. The first one is that of Dana Ward being iconic and dancing on her bed. If you can't guess it already - she's the cheerleader with a heart of gold that Yue is modeled after for this story.
And this is Juliet Watson, the Blackwell reporter (after she's locked Dana in her room). Again, if you haven't guessed it already, Suki is modeled after Juliet.
the funny thing is that I lowkey shipped Juliet and Dana as my favorite minor character ship in LiS before I even shipped Yueki. This is why Yue/Suki ship in my story works on more than one level <3
