some portraits based off frames I liked in the first episode of Voltron. The pilot episode still is everything to me. Thought this was a nice angle of Shiro <3 Wanted to play with giving Allura a different hair style while keeping the silhouette of her canon hair. I thought Sendak's evil little grin was fun

Ducky
You spoil me!
Duck is probably my favorite toy to mash together with other engines during shipping playtime, probably as a result of him just having so many great interactions with some of the best characters in the series and enough material to work with to extrapolate what other relationships outside of canon might look like. He's just so complex and likable! Many thousands of words have been dedicated to everyone's favorite pannier tank engine. Here's a few more:
OLIVER:
Tumblr media
Hi. I'm the problem, it's me.
I love this ship and my love only grows stronger every day. To me, this ship elicits the same kind of reaction as seeing a frog on a lily pad or a cat napping in the sunlight. Like, "Yeah, that's exactly how it's supposed to be. :)"
Outside of vibes-based ship assessment, and more to the point: I love this ship because it really highlights how differently these two characters approach their shared identity, how their experiences shaped their worldview and how that's impacted the way they feel about their old railway, their new home, and each other.
Duck has never borne the burden of questioning his identity. His relationship to the GWR is uncomplicated. He loved it, he misses it, and espousing its virtues to these NWR engines is not only something he feels he has to do, it's something he enjoys doing!
Oliver - notably - does not behave like Duck. I have chosen to interpret this as a sign that his experience with the GWR wasn't the same as the one Duck had. To what degree it was different is up for debate, but I think it's reasonable to assume that it wasn't great, or at the very least, wasn't enough to engender that same loyalty in him that it did in Duck.
But here they are, together on Sodor, and Oliver isn't out here telling everyone about the two ways of doing things, but he *is* working very hard and wearing his colors (that he had no say in picking, because this was for Duck's branch line), because out here they're all each other has of their past life, and it clearly means a lot to Duck.
I like to imagine that Duck sees and appreciates the effort being put forth here, that it softens him on Oliver a lot after the turntable incident. And gosh that GWR green makes him look a lot like home...
In my ideal world, Oliver starts looking-looking at Duck when it becomes clear that Douglas isn't an option anymore (more on that in another ask, perhaps?), and Duck who has always sorta been looking-looking since Oliver got painted green starts responding to that attention with an acknowledgement that Oliver is doing his best. I think previously, Duck would have been reluctant to offer that kind of verbal affirmation considering what happened the last time Oliver got compliments, but I think it really does make Oliver feel good to be told that he's worked hard and done well - especially considering the adverse circumstances he's faced up to this point. One imagines that he didn't get that kind of praise on the GWR very often, and definitely didn't get it on the BR. It's enough to go to your head a little bit, except he's already learned that lesson once and doesn't want to lose ground by disappointing again.
That being said, I think this is a relationship that works best in the short-term. Duck and Oliver are both grown enough that they can satisfy a passing infatuation and move on without anyone's feelings getting hurt, which is one of my favorite things about them as characters. It would be good for both of them. Duck, I imagine, lacks experience with this sort of thing and Oliver is a very easygoing engine to practice your moves on, and Oliver gets to come away from it feeling better and more secure in his place on the branch line and in Duck's life in general. They get to have a nice Great Western Time about it and then move on, and I love that for them so much.
DONALD:
Tumblr media
Alright, we all knew this one was coming.
Donald. Is so great. I don't think I've yet written why I love Donald so much, but that's more of a personal failing than anything since I know at least one person has asked previously and I definitely just forgot to reply in a timely manner. While we can't remedy that in full here, a quick rundown:
Donald is one of those guys who is in the enviable position of being everything desirable to other engines in one convenient package. He's clever, hardworking, funny, devastatingly handsome, whip-smart, reliable and wholly singular (despite being a twin). You like him and you want him to like you back just as much!
All engines love attention, and this one is no exception. And unlike his brother, I think this absolutely goes to his head at times. Donald could easily land any engine he wants, but he's enjoying the freedom too much to let the burden of choosing slow him down. He's having fun flirting with the rest of the railway, why should he have to commit?
Of course Duck is not immune to Donald's charms, but he's also not built to make a game out of his feelings the way Donald does. If you can have any engine you want, why would you settle for Duck? I've got time, Donald thinks. None of us are going anywhere. I like the way he looks at me, and I'm having fun so what's the problem?
Unfortunately, this comes across as Donald toying with his boss's affections, which... [Everyone disliked that.]
Douglas especially hates what's going on here. He's like, "You're going to get hurt or hurt him and then neither of us will be welcome back here. They'll stick us in Great Waterton or send us away like what happened when Duck was quibbling with that diesel engine."
Donald just rolls his eyes and tells his corny romantic of a brother that he's worrying too much, it's all just fun. Just a couple of friends having a good time, nothing to be concerned about.
And It becomes immediately concerning when Duck and Oliver start making eyes at each other across the yard and Duck stops looking at Donald at all. Sure, they're still friendly but Duck doesn't make those flush-faced little expressions at him anymore or laugh all sweet-like when Donald flirts with him. It's so concerning.
It's so concerning that Donald has to go reaffirm how desirable he is by scurrying to every corner of Sir Topham Hatt's railway and propositioning every pompous tender engine he can get in contact with.
He makes a pass at Gordon (who turns him down flat). He makes a pass at Flying Scotsman (who turns him down much more gently). he asks Mavis if she'd kill him for asking Spencer to double-head with him and she just laughs in his face. Donald's whole world is falling apart and Duck doesn't even care because he's having Great Western Hours with Oliver at the shed where they both sleep next to each other every night and this was NOT how this was supposed to go!!!!!!
Douglas can only tut gently and say, "I dinnae want to say I told ye so, but..." and Donald just tears off in a huff. Meanwhile every time Donald catches Oliver's eyes in the yard, Oliver just looks at him all smug-like. Just dreadful. 0/10 experience, completely humiliating.
Of course, because I am a hopeless sucker for romance, when Oliver and Duck have closed that brief chapter of their relationship, Donald gets to turn up, hat-in-hand, and apologize for everything. And Duck forgives him because he's a fucking catch and Donald should have seen that from the jump. Everyone gets their happy ending!
I'd go into why they're good for each other, except better writers than me have already done so and I've taken up so much of your time already. If you made it this far, you're a peach. Thanks for the ask!

what's your process for making comics ? how do you plan them out ? the panels ? the dialogue ? do you plan it all out in advance or is it more spontaneous
sometimes if the comic requires a lot of dialogue, i make the transcript first. (and it helps because once i get to the step of actually putting in the dialogue to the comic, i make improvements along the way)
usually the process of paneling it is... very mixed. im not an expert in comic making and there are honestly better rain world artists out there who do much better in that field (trying to not compare myself to them is a mental struggle i really fucking hate but it does help me strive to work better and study how they do it(pansear i swear to god stop looking at the NUMBERS)). ive actually been one to make comics and story telling for quite a while but not much a full length big comic series.
when i make anthro au comics, i usually have the "ok this is what i want to go" in my head. since a majority of them are sketched, i dont really worry about how itll layout. i just need to get the idea out of my head. sometimes i think really hard on a scene and think to myself "ok this part is really dramatic and important so i must make it bigger than the rest". sometimes it is for comedic effect like in helm where there is an entire page dedicated to the lizard exploding over a jpeg, sometimes its for scenic feels (like echoes showing themselves upon the characters and making foreboding(though also strange) dialogue), and other times its when the character is saying something or doing something incredibly crucial like whatever saint was doing to arti in heretic.
sometimes id do it without dividers (which is actually easier for me personally). sometimes id do it experimentally like with the ghost arti and zombie hunter comic.
i suppose what i prioritize more is to tell a story rather than to tell the story in flair, so its best to not entirely heed to my advice if you want stylized-looking comics. it probably doesnt help that i might have some sort of attention deficiency because its difficult for me to get back on a project thats stored away for another.
some of the really great rw comic artists i can think on the top of my head are:
@lynxmisnomer who has a really great ongoing series called The Curse of Metropolis and has made a really cool comic of Monk and Survivor
@ninten-draw who makes really colorful stylized comics about certain rain world characters including the ones you wouldn't think of and nails on the story-telling without words
@lyss-butterscotch who puts a lot of effort to her gijinka au stuff (if you ask me which of her comics is my favorite- come on. you already know the answer based on who's writing this LOL)
@snailfen for having cutesy and detailed comics (i read ruff and ruff like garfield comics- they're not as frequent but i get this unexplainable feeling of happiness whenever i see it)
@toxictoxicities whose comics are??? scenic??? holy shit.
and you of course!

What are your thoughts over the movie? I have some myself (and a mild mental breakdown over the Thing™), but overall, it was good. I want to talk about it with anyone, lol
Okay, so....
Spoilers below the cut:
Firstly, I loved it. You can tell how much effort they put into this movie, and it really shows. Kudos to everyone involved.
Things I liked:
Piper Rubio did amazing. No comment beyond that. Abby is one of my favorite characters now, and if anything happens to her, I'll cry.
Actually, all the kids did a wonderful job. Especially Grant Feely. He really embodied that creepy, restless spirit vibe.
Mike and Abby's sibling relationship was everything to me!
Vanessa asking Mike if he wants to dance with her (OMG).
The Springbonnie suit looked great!
Mike having a little bit of an attitude (I love him so much)!
The animatronics were cool. I like that they took the time to make them seem friendly, and almost childlike, before switching gears.
Things I didn't like:
I'm not an expert on filmmaking, so excuse me if I'm wrong here. But the pacing was all over the place. The first act of the movie was perfect, and then the second act was....fast. Like fast-fast. Based on what other people are saying, I'm 99.9% sure they cut out a lot of footage.
This one might come back to bite me in the ass later, but some plotlines felt unnecessary. I know this is FNAF and complicated is written somewhere between Freddy and Fazbear, but did we really need some side plot about an evil aunt? They didn't go anywhere with it, and we still don't know what happened to her. Did Golden Freddy K.O her? Kill her? Who knows? Because we certainly don't. We see her legs, and then she's never mentioned again.
I don't know if this is controversial, but I hate that Vanessa's an Afton. Maybe it's because I was so set on Mike being an Afton, but I really, really hate that they changed it. (I'll elaborate on that more down below).
I felt like they could have given us some more background. Some more flashbacks to the 80s. Anything.
I know I'm being overdramatic, but having the plot twist be Vanessa's an Afton kind of killed all my excitement. Which is stupid, I know, but yeah....
I mean, I'm still going to write fanfictions about the movie, and about all the ways that Mike Schmidt is actually Michael Afton.
--Sorry in advance, but I'm going to ramble--
I have a feeling that William knows Mike better than he's letting on. Of course, he did kidnap Garrett, who could have told William everything about Mike. He could have also watched the news and seen Mike with his parents, asking for Garrett to come home.
But that's not the vibe i was getting from William during the office scene. But I'll let you all decide for yourselves:
William Afton is a skilled manipulator and actor, but the expression he makes looking down at his coffee doesn't scream, "holy shit, the brother of my victim is sitting in my office." He has no reason to look concerned. Mike has no idea who he is, and he isn't even looking at William. So, why put on a show?
Also, the change in his attitude is telling. He went from cold and distant to personable in a heartbeat.
Of course, there's always the possibility that I'm totally wrong, and William is scared he's been found out. Which could be true, given that he doesn't hesitate to fuck Mike up the second he's able to.
--
In the same vein, why would William Afton-a guy known for killing/kidnapping kids around the pizzeria, or at least close to the pizzeria-drive to the middle of nowhere, pick a random kid, and kill him? I know he's crazy, but I don't buy it.
Some people are saying that Garrett is a Charlie parallel, and that Mike is Henry's son. Which could be the case, I mean, we see a mechanic in the training video that bears a striking resemblance to the actor that plays Mike's dad. I don't know if those two things are connected, but it's interesting to point out.
But, like I said, it's weird that William went out of his way to kidnap a kid for no reason. And he likely wasn't in a costume (at least I hope he wasn't, because if he was and no one saw who took Garrett, I think a kidnapped child is the least of their worries.) So, how did he convince Garrett, who was by himself for a grand total of five second, to get in the car? Maybe he offered him candy or toys? I dunno.
I might go into all the evidence/theories so far that Mike's an Afton in another post. And where they're going with Garrett's character. But yeah....
Everyone, please, feel free to share your thoughts on the movie. I would love to hear them :D!!
((Thank you for this question btw <3333))

'Tis Time For Torture, Princess Episode 2:
While not many, I heard some voices express concern for the longevity of the humor and story of this series. Obviously that concern was for naught when you have a Smash Bros parody skit in the series about torturing a princess via food. Because of that, I want to express just how much variation and potential this second episode provides for the lifecycle of this series (while also showing off how damn good it is).
So first and foremost, the pair of new characters introduced in that clip- they aren't the only ones. Alongside this devilish duo of torturers (Youki and Inki), we've also got the Beastmaster Krall, and even the Giant, well Giant. Alongside Tortura, each brings a unique form of torture and extortion to their time with the Princess.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It adds a massive amount of dimension to the running jokes of the series, really. Food is no longer the sole avenue of torture for the Princess, and her ability to relate to the torturers and expose parts of her history through their interactions expands further as well. For example, we get introduced to another character from her past in this episode, the knight Jimochi, who may or may not be a little childish.
Tumblr media
It's just a lot of groundwork and effort being put in place to ensure that the story remains fresh, funny, and enjoyable, all the while helping set the stage for character development and story progression.
Speaking of the idea of fresh, the Princess actually won a round of torture in this episode. Very inconsequential since she gave out the secrets anyways, but it allows viewers to accept the idea that the Princess has the potential to persevere and win out in various rounds against her torturers.
Tumblr media
Past all of this though, Pine Jam's efforts remain sublime in terms of expression. One of my favorite things through these two episodes is the idea of Ex as an unreliable narrator, for example. Just look at the different faces of the Princess during his retellings of her adventures. There's plenty of variation vs the more consistent styling of the present Princess. Also, I find it interesting that the variation in her face largely comes from how Ex describes the Princess in relation to whatever story he's telling.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Of course, the composition is perfect at giving each moment the most emotion and impact as well. Really, all fronts of this production are so good that I just want to share the entire episode.
Tumblr media
But, sadly, I can't, so I settle for what I can get across effectively here.
Yes, it's a rather short post, but there's only so much to talk about without creating a tangled mess of thoughts and opinions when it can be summarized with one paragraph:
'Tis Time For Torture Princess is proving to be another grand slam of a series from Pine Jam. Though a risk based on the adaptation of a narrative rather than an original like DIY!!, the team behind this series has provided incredible work on all fronts to make the most of a unique and refreshing comedy series. Frankly speaking, it's a must watch.

Thoughts on canon and fanon Blue?
Okay let me start off with this
AUUUYGHHHHHHRRRFHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHH RAHHHHHHHHH
Now my actual thoughts are....I don't really care, they both have their strengths and weaknesses but both of them are used to tear the other down. Not only that but purity culture is pathetic so when "Blueberry" is made to be Aroace because "He's such a cute and sweet childlike bean!"
It's grosser than the fact that you think of him as "childlike" like adults don't love puzzles, colors, and keep stuffed animals. Not only are you making it out to seem like it's bad to enjoy "childish" things as an adult but that wanting joy means that you haven't grown up which is :[
I feel like Blueberry is a wonderful way to explore different aspects of adulthood and how it affects people differently. Childlike wonderment and joy shouldn't be limited to just your childhood, and some children are just forced to grow up fast but then that leaves them wanting the things they should have had during their childhood years. However this part of storytelling for Blueberry isn't EVER SEEN BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING OVER ECHO CHAMBER THOUGHTS????
Not only that but the MOMENT someone EVER headcannons something and it becomes popular it becomes "fanon" which??? SO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO WRITE THE CHARACTERS BASED ON HEADCANNONS MADE FUCKIN FOREVER AGO???
Like okay, example the food thing where each Sans was given a favorite condiment, and the swap versions were different dishes. This was okay but like...what do you mean Blueberry's defining traits are that he loves tacos and wants what's best for everyone....like are you sure you don't want anything else? Please. Please oh my God please.
It's like when people make Papyrus' traits "love spaghetti and the guard" and NOTHING ELSE. Even though he loves collecting action figures, studying puzzles, making costumes, building, and he is a very caring person but is only ever used as a plot point in fics??? Like when something needs to go wrong he's there, or when something needs to go right he's there. It's not written in naturally and thus has also affected the way people write Blueberry.
When something needs to go right or wrong Blueberry is there but oh no! He's too sweet and kind to want anything EVER and only wants what's best for you but it's never in a cool manipulative way? Fics that make him a bit of an ass are a breath of fresh air.
I think people forget that he's Sans too a lot. And I think he should be more quick witted and smart mouthed. He should keep his love of puns and ketchup, he should also keep his smarts. Like puzzle wise he's actually really good and puts a lot of effort into it but he's not really good at the science aspect of smart. It's like people forget that you can still keep these traits and "swap" him.
I have SO MUCH MORE to say but the basic fundamentals are this.
People need to stop holding onto the past version of Blueberry but also not tear down the past version as much as they do. You can give him different traits and he'd still be "Sans", making him less of a "Papyrus" would be helpful. Have fun with new ideas and possibly explore the idea of having different types of childhood and how that affects a person as an adult. Liking childish things doesn't mean someone is an innocent person, but that they find comfort in those things and nothing more. Growing up happens, and it's apart of life and it's hard to come to terms with sometimes.
To have him stay a flat character with no possiblity of change is a waste of potential and people have the right to do more. Overall, do what you think is most fun when it comes to story telling but don't forget that he's a character who needs devolvement just like any other "Sans"
Man I had so much to say I'm sorry

Okay enough!! *casually elbows Fantomette away to take the spot of the questions guy myself* If you really are on the rush of sharing Bloodborne headcanons, tell us about your views on Yurie!
The most difficult character! :0
That's my Yurie. I used colors from her data and lightened them a bit, also tried to mix my own vision and her in-game face.
Tumblr media
(she is looking at yall like - 🤨)
If I had to choose an actress to play Yurie, I would choose Tilda Swinton (one of my all time favorite actresses with amazing appearance). Yurie may not look like her in game, but Tilda Swinton is a goddess and gives me Yurie vibes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yurie's image was hard to compile, but based on what I have in my own vision of the game's lore, she studied with the Byrgenwerth trio, perhaps except in a different faculty. Maybe biology or biomedicine? Plus, by the time Rom enrolled, she'd likely be a sophomore. How many courses were in the program at Byrgenwerth? This is a detail you can tweak to your canon xd Let it be 4 or 6, for medicine could be longer, but in any case the graduation of Micolash, Laurence and Rom never happened in the full sense of the word. Since the whole blood research thing started, Laurence and Willem started their religion stuff - they all didn't really graduate. Just Byrgenwerth and its entire staff moved on to the Healing Church that was founded. SO. Back to the topic. When trio enrolled, Yuri was a sophomore(maybe older)
I think the center of her attention was and still is Rom. Still, I'd attribute her location in Byrgenwerth to the fact that she's guarding Rom, but not Willem. (I had a stupid old sketch of her and Damian arguing about whether or not to let the Good Hunter in, but it's too old. I didn't even really know the lore back then lol, but I already had a FeElInG like Yurie was there for Rom)
Sketch was something like this:
Tumblr media
(And then they kiss... Errrhhm tried to kill each other violently)
(It is based on a funny situation, when I summoned Damian to fight Rom, and I saw him there, when was entering grey fog, but he didn’t come to my aid!! As I figured out, it happened because I didn’t kill Yurie, and Damian just stayed there with her)
Based on my image of Rom, I think Yurie really disliked her at first, well, when they met. It's not really anger or dislike, it's just that feeling when you're very fragile inside and you've built your own little barrier from the outside world (Yurie was always known for her "coldness"), hiding behind arrogance, indifference and other pleasures of life, but then you see someone you like, but they're unimaginably weak (just like you was once), and the worst thing is that this person doesn't even try to defend themself! And despite all their good qualities, you see them getting insults. Other's weakness can be irritating, genuinely.
(I don't want to label Rom a victim by calling her weak. I just think we are all weak inside, and how we defend ourselves and interact with the world is individual. Rom herself wouldn't think of herself as a "victim". It's just that she was pitied by kind hearts, seeing the ridicule, while she herself preferred to "kill with kindness"! I LOVE that term. Has helped me a lot in my life)
I think when Yurie would have realized that she was falling asleep thinking only about Rom, she would have tried to start at least friendship, putting all her efforts into protecting little lady. Actually, if you consider them as a pairing, Yurie's crush is a must! And even if I ship Rom/Laurence, Yurie still was in love with Rom.
Yurie/Rom is a caring, nurturing, warm and loving relationship, if only because Rom is a cinnamon bun and Yurie is head over heels in love and ready to give that love to her lady. Somehow they remind me a lot of Brador/Laurence, and if things don't work out with Laurence/Rom, I know who else has a claim on their hearts xd (It's funny how I kicked off Micolash. I think I put him in Damian's hands and also put Edgar next to him. Damian is already too much of a gift, enough for Micolash xD). Yurie would warm Rom's hands in the winter, take care of her warmth, walk with her in the shade of trees in the summer, and even despite her fear of insects, watch them with Rom. I also think Yurie is very tactile, so a kiss on a first date is 100% likely. If it's Rom's first date, it's Yurie's 101st date, because she's been making up the previous 100 dates before going to bed xd
Yurie + Edgar - the kinship, but very distant because I've already made up that Edgar is an orphan off the street and I don't want to change that. He's probably her nephew, which is likely given the age difference (yes, there is one, trust me). I guess they didn't have a warm family atmosphere because why, honestly, does Yurie care about a relative who suddenly showed up? She's got her own problems to deal with. She's a scientist, and she's trying to look after Rom, and there's fucked up shit going on in Yharnam, and Fauxsefka is looming with crazy plans. I think when Edgar was sent off to spy after his future lov… mad scholars, he wanted to say goodbye to Yurie, but didn't have time, which he would have regretted. And walking around Byrgenwerth, Yurie would hear his voice all the time, turning around.
Yurie + Damian. Yurie would be jealous of Rom because of Damian, I think. One day Rom had an awful talk with Micolash, and instead of looking for Yurie (in fact, she just needed advice about Micolash, and no one knows him better than Damian) she would go to seek comfort from another person who is also very good to her and in general is very nice. So jealousy of Yurie would be understandable. (I hedcanon Damian as a library worker, local archivist. Who read my fanfic - knows what I am talking about). I think the problem was solved when Yurie heard the sounds of kissing from the library, and then satisfied Micolash flew out of there, so Yurie realised - Damian is not her rival lol (my little headcanon, eheheheheheh)
The fact that they can be made to fight before entering the arena to Rom already says a lot, doesn't it? They could make a good pairing, but the relationship would probably start when each of them would stay without their "lord"? They'd just realize that each of them is a good person and worthy of love, hence the attraction
Yurie + Willem - oh, I think she respected Professor and Master of Byrgenwerth. She would have scrutinized all of his writings. In Choir era she would actively use his scholarly research, as she realized that the old man may have lost his sanity, but he's an incredible researcher and theorist, which means you can capitalize on it.
Yurie + Fauxsefka - this has the vibe of an office romance! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Fauxsefka has Micolash vibes, and combined with Yurie's coldness, this could be very hot.
Tumblr media
Yurie + Micolash - they are two complete opposites. I think she'd knock him out for causing Rom's stress xD I think he'd enjoy pissing Yurie off, but she wouldn't really be into it, so no Love/Hate, just Micolash would get a his ass kicked, but would call Damian to defend him.
Some more headcanons:
Yurie became more nervous and more open about her feelings as she matured. We meet her in the game in deep thought, nervous, still wishing Rom would go back to her old self
Yurie is a master of swearing! The only one who could compare with Mikolash in this matter LOL
Yurie really regretted letting Edgar go and ended up losing him without ever getting to know him. Sometimes she thinks she hears his voice (but whether it's guilt or the remnants of his consciousness trying to tell her something - no one knows).
Yurie became very artistic in expressing her emotions as she got older, which amused Fauxsefka VERY much. Just imagine Fauxsefka asking her about being in a giant mommy spider's friendzone, and Yurie be like:
Tumblr media
And IN GENERAL. Yurie has cold on the outside, passionate on the inside personality. She is very emotional when it comes to the people she loves, and is also very brave and willing to rush to protect them at the cost of her life. Many called her the "ice queen." She can seem heartless and callous. Indeed she often failed to pay attention to those who needed it, shutting out emotions and fearing them. But she is very sweet. And what way she would go depends on who will be next to her. Rom? Damian? Fauxefka? She is kind of human who will change to be more like their beloved, and she can become evil genius or guardian angel, everything depends on what you think.
(Mine Yurie is devoted to Rom, would try to start something with Damian but wouldn't succeed, and in the end find a similar soul in Fauxsefka, who would actually open all Yurie's strong sides and help her overcome her weaknesses but in a cruel way)
I am not sure if you will like my vision of her, but that's the way I see Yurie xD (I would kiss her on the cheek, I love her now thx....)

Thoughts on the new Pokémon games? Any favorite Pokémon or characters?
They are pretty good! My favorite character is Nemona and my favorite Pokemon is Chi-Yu, who I have lovingly named "Splashy".
I do have some more in-depth thoughts if you want to keep reading.
Graphics (5/10)
Probably some of the worst I've seen in a mainline game, despite the character and Pokemon models being really high-quality.
The low-quality draw distance is to be expected, but it's still pretty jarring seeing NPCs without their hand animations fully rendered. Some hands would look like 🤚 when holding a Pokeball or even just a pencil.
The environments are really lackluster, and the weather can cause the frame rate to drop into the single digits.
Glitches are plentiful, but not in a good way. Pokemon spawning in walls, HP bars glitching in Tera Raids, environments glitch when camera is not at an optimal angle, etc.
However, the Pokemon's textures look absolutely fantastic. I love how shiny the Magnemite line looks. :3 I kinda wish the particle effects were better on Pokemon like Skeledirge and Chi-Yu, but that's ok.
Story (10/10)
I'm so glad the story ended up so much better in SV than in SwSh. I remember not being able to play through Shield after playing Sword because of how boring the story was. Not this time, though. SV continued to keep me engaged throughout the whole thing.
(SPOILER ALERT) I kinda wish they put more effort into making Scarlet and Violet different from each other regarding the AI Sada and Turo. I don't think it would have been too farfetched to have Sada a golem because of the existence of legendary titans.
Arven's story is fantastic, and although he is not a favorite character of mine, I've really warmed up to him after learning his goal in healing his Mabosstiff.
Gameplay (7/10)
I really thought Gym Leaders, Titans, and Team Star Battles would be scaled. That would have been really cool...
I was deeply saddened that they decided to remove the majority of the QoL features from PLA, and reverted to its traditional turn-based gameplay. It isn't bad by any means, but it makes the game slower than it should be.
Being able to sneak up on Pokemon and catching them off-guard was really fun, but I wish it can be applied to also catching them and not just battling them.
However, auto-battling is really cool and fun!! I love it! Being able to bring out my Pokemon and battle other wild Pokemon really sped things up.
Follower Pokemon are back!! Although I kinda wished they changed the speeds of some of the Pokemon when they're running/walking with you. Chien-Pao, I know you have a walking animation, please just relax and walk with me!!
RIP sparkling sounds when finding shiny Pokemon. I understand that it makes finding them more exciting, but I think it makes it harder for those who have difficulty telling colors apart to find them. I don't really get having to remove a feature that would otherwise make finding shiny Pokemon more accessible to others.
Characters (8/10)
Although no one really got me all "doki-doki" like Guzma has, the cast was absolutely fantastic this time around.
I love that almost all of the gym leaders have their gym challenges as something they do on the side. Their passion is something else that they're into and they bring it into their Pokemon battles, whether it's baking, creating art, streaming, cooking, etc.
The Elite Four is fantastic, too. It's great seeing another Gym Leader become another member of the Elite Four. :3
That said, I don't trust Geeta.
Please help Larry.
Overall Score (7.5/10)
Pretty good! It's a good start to an open-world Pokemon game, but kinda falls behind compared to other open-world games out there that have surpassed it by a long shot and were released earlier! I mean like. The franchise is nearing its 30th anniversary and it still doesn't have voice acting of any kind.
It's an obvious result of dev crunch, and I really hope they space out release dates if it means getting better games. However, I don't think this will happen anytime soon.

OP I am so sorry to flood your askbox about this (you are Tumblr's strongest soldier for this take alone) but also I have so many opinions about the Vocaloid take (/vocal synth take. I'll be calling them vocaloids for ease but I know that not all vocal synths fall into the vocaloid category) without even being that invested in Vocaloid beyond just liking a few composers. Vocaloid songs are meant to have lyrics if the person making them want lyrics. They don't need to learn to learn to compose without lyrics, because that's not the intention! The intention was to use the intended instrument to sing lyrics and tell a story. This would be like telling every band in the world who uses drums to learn to compose songs without drums. The drums weren't just put in there by accident or as a substitute for something else! They were meant to be in there! Plus, it's harder to tell a story without lyrics, and vocaloid producers don't need to do that.
Of course, I get not liking vocaloid songs! There's personally a few vocal synths/even methods of tuning from popular producers I can't stand or can only stand in specific applications, so I get it! But vocaloid is an instrument, and one which shows just as much talent as plain old human vocals (maybe even more in some instances, because that "naturally perfect pitch" might not have taken nearly as much time and effort to develop as the skills and different methods of tuning that many of the most popular vocaloid producers). I just think vocaloids deserve to be treated like any other instrument in that regard. Pulling out that drums analogy from earlier which I'm not even sure is applicable here but I'll keep using, somebody might not like the sound of your average drum kit, no matter how many different ways of playing it they hear. They might not develop the taste it takes to enjoy drums, and that's just fine! They should just avoid drums, and talk about how they play a tambourine or something, are a master at it and how drums are just glorified versions of that.
I also think that vocaloids can honestly be more applicable than human voices sometimes honestly. I know there's been one or two instances where I've looked for songs with both a vocaloid version and a sung version only to be severely disappointed by only finding the sung version. Before I look at examples relating to general composers, I want to mention that two of my favorite games ever use vocal synths in vastly different ways that are ultimately much more effective to their point than human voices would be. One of them didn't want to give the two main characters canon voices, and also wanted to not have English lyrics in a song section where the two would be singing, so it used two different types of vocal synths (both selected based on the character's personalities) and had them sing gibberish, and it worked really well! I still listen to that version of the song even though there is an actual English lyrics sung by a human version of it because I adore the sound of it (even if I love the English version too). The other favorite game of mine is one where 2/4 of the different credits songs for the different endings use a vocal synth and lean into a robotic feeling just because it fits. Aside from applications like that, vocaloids are good for people not confident about their voices who still want songs with lyrics, people who could have the most heavenly voices in the world and might even release sung versions of their songs but like using vocal synths anyways, people who just enjoy the sounds, people who like experimenting with their tuning and everything in between.
Anyways I'm so sorry for rambling this much, and if the original poster is reading this, I promise that this was not meant to be malicious or disrespectful to any degree. I just think that vocaloids and vocal synths in general deserve more respect as instruments rather than cheap alternatives to a human voice. I get not enjoying vocaloids, I just don't think anybody should be told to "go to hell and learn to compose a song without lyrics" just because they enjoy using these lovely instruments which allow for more creativity than they're often given credit for.

top 5 favorite sonic soundtracks?
This list and order will probably change in about three days, because Sonic music is never easy to list and rank lol.
5. Sonic '06 - '06 has many problems (controversial opinion, I know... that's not even a joke these days), but the music ain't one of them. As someone who finds orchestral soundtracks to be something of an overused gimmick, with many of them sounding samey, flaccid, and lacking identity, Sonic's ones manage to be some of the exceptions, and '06 is arguably the crowning example. The actual gameplay-related tracks are full of bangers of course (Aquatic Base and Solaris Phase 1 <3), but don't forget the cutscene music too. Even Mephiles has some good themes associated with him, so well done to them for putting in that much composition effort for a character who didn't deserve it.
4. Sonic CD - How many games do you know where the boss theme tells you to work that sucker to death (c'mon now)? The raw energy present across the JP soundtrack is infectious, the more relaxed tracks are beautiful, and the differences for each level between each period of time enhances the memorability. My favourite overall is probably Quartz Quadrant, cause it makes me think of @greenyvertekins :> And while I do prefer the JP soundtrack overall, the US one does still have some great tracks of its own here and there.
3. Sonic Mania - Half of it may be remixes, but they're top tier remixes. Acts 2 of Chemical Plant, Oil Ocean, and Lava Reef are my favourite renditions of those themes in the series, and Act 1 of Stardust Speedway is jazzy as hell. As for the new themes? I can't even pick a favourite because they're all too good. D: Although I do have a particular spot for Press Garden...
2. Sonic Advance trilogy - Going back to the orchestral talk, it must be stressed that I don't praise or elevate a soundtrack just because it's orchestral. I don't care how primitive the resources used for my blue hedgehog ditties are. What I care about is that they're memorable, and that they bop. That's it. That's all that's required. So with that in mind, the Advance trilogy may be working with GBA compression, but I don't think it audibly sacrifices the level of raw passion and heart that went into them. Some of that might be the nostalgia talking since Advance 1 and 2 were the first Sonic games I saw and played respectively, but you don't need nostalgia to appreciate Ice Mountain, Egg Rocket, Music Plant, Chaos Angel, Nonaggression...
1. Sonic Adventure 1 - Despite doing this list, I don't think I can ever hand-on-heart pin down what my favourite soundtrack of all time is, because of how consistently excellent the music has usually been across three decades. I can, on the other hand, point out the ingredients that I think completes the highest of the highs, and for that reason, SA1 finds itself here. It's got the bangin', it's got the leitmotifs, it's got the impactful cutscene music, and above all else, it's got variety. Some otherwise good soundtracks can get carried away with throwing the same kind of rock here, there and everywhere; SA1 certainly has its rock, but it has plenty of other genres too, and the rock that is used actually compliments the environment and context perfectly.
My favourite track in the game? Tricky Maze for Lost World, but only barely, because if you haven't guessed, the other competing tracks are right by the door. Like Station Square, Windy and Ripply, Windy Hill, Mechanical Resonance, Crazy Robo, Unbound, Gamma's theme in general, Red Mountain in general...

hi :) i'd like to ask for the Weird Questions for Writers, questions 7, 24 and 25? :))
7. What is your deepest joy about writing?
Oh gosh, I don't know if I can pinpoint this. There's so much I love about writing. I know one thing that I really love is when I'm able to write a story that's just really satisfying—whether it's actually satisfying in terms of what the characters want and/or need, or it's just satisfying to me as the author because I accomplished what I wanted with it (making a point, filling a plot hole, etc.) I love the moment I can see my time and effort starting to pay off because it's all coming together nicely. I don't know if that's what I'd really call my deepest joy about writing, but it's the best I can come up with right now.
24. How much prep work do you put into your stories? What does that look like for you? Do you enjoy this part or do you just want to get on with it?
It depends on the story. One shots for the most part don't have a whole lot of planning involved, I just start writing and see where it goes. That's usually how novels and multichap fics start, too, honestly, but the more the plot develops, the more I have to stop and sort out how to make all the different plot elements work, especially if it's something complicated. For example, I have one WIP combining three different fandoms, and before I could do any actual writing for it, I had to determine which characters in the story I'm writing represent which characters in the story the fic is based on, and also which plot points I was going to change and how.
The prep stage can be really fun, especially if a story has a particular theme or aesthetic that I can dive headlong into—I have one novel in the works that's set in a beach town, so it was really fun developing that setting and sort of designing it as a tourist trap that most people just visit, but to my characters, it's home. I have another story that kind of developed a fairytale complex, and I've assigned each of my central characters a fairytale type role (fairy godmother, evil dragon, knight on a white horse, etc.) even though these details are never brought up in the actual text, and the story itself isn't a fantasy or set in medieval times. It's easy to get wound up in behind the scenes details like that, but I also get kind of impatient and want the concepts I'm forming to already be fleshed out so I can just start spending time in that world, whether by writing or rereading. It's like trying to assemble a dollhouse before you can play with it, you know?
25. What is a weird, hyper-specific detail you know about one of your characters that is completely irrelevant to the story?
K, here's one for one of my oldest OC's: Joe tells everyone that his dog is named after Rose Tyler from Doctor Who. The truth is that she's named after Rose Dawson from Titanic, because that's his favorite movie. Everyone already knows that he's a geek, but he doesn't need them knowing just how big of a softie he is, too. His parents are unaware of this and think Rose just has dual namesakes, or they forget which one she's named after. His sister knows exactly what he's doing, but she doesn't say anything about it because she's a real one.
Thanks!! ☺️

⭐ tell me all about your favorite buddies ⭐
Thanks for enabling my rambling. This question is very vague but I'm guessing you mean my ocs! <3 ask template here
So. I'll tell you about my OC couple first, who I've got an ongoing longfic about that you can read here. I'm going to sum it up without dropping too many spoilers, so the characters and descriptions may be a little vague.
Their story is based off of a Skyrim companion mod called Lucien Flavius. I always liked the idea of the Dragonborn being someone's adventurer mentor and protector while also fighting their own battles.
Theo is the Imperial scholar in the situation - I took inspiration from Lucien, but Theo is my own oc that I've put lots of time and effort into building. He's got that sweet, sheltered innocence of any apprentice but strives to learn and understand both the ways of real people and the ways of the world. He is learning that not everything is as he read in both history and storybooks.
Griffin is the dragonborn - the mentor. He's a Bosmer thief who's had a rough life and struggles to make connections with people that go deeper than skin-to-skin because of his past experiences. Despite all this, he exhibits a kindness and a more patient and tempered way of going about things that makes him extremely interesting. He's a confusing fellow, especially for Theo, who doesn't have much experience with people beyond his own parents.
But anyway - it's a story that came from my partner and I wanting to explore the potential of a whirlwind fastburn romance between a kind, humble, yet wary dragonborn and an overeager scholar. The potential angst was too good to pass up. So I ended up writing out the story about them. I decided to forego the canon events of the Skyrim game and make it into an alternate universe where yes - there are dragons - but there's no Alduin, and dragonborns are just coincidental heroes that keep being born. It also takes place about a decade after the civil war (Imperial victory) because I wanted to add some flavor and thought it would be interesting. Plus both MCs' parents have involvement in the civil war.
Progression in their story has been a little slow up to this point because I struggle to keep writing sometimes but I'm coming onto some important scenes soon so. If you do decide to read it, I hope you enjoy!
Onto Faelon - another Bosmer Dragonborn
Canon events of Skyrim's main quest do happen, but they're weird.
Faelon is an ex-thrall whose spell was broken by Akatosh upon the arrival of Alduin. He is Dragonborn - but so is his sister. Faelon has had many near-death experiences and because of this and the strange consequences of his birth (Serpent sign), Akatosh decided to bless Baela (his sister) with a dragon soul as well.
Faelon's years of being broken down by thrall magic erased his memory of anything before waking up. Essentially, the amount of magical and physical damage done to him by the wizard had wiped his brain clean except for knowledge of basic tasks and muscle memory. He forgot who he was, where he was, and everyone he had ever known. This made things quite difficult for him upon waking. To sum it up simply, he woke up in a cave near Riften, killed his captor, found maps and journals (he retained the knowledge of how to read), found out he was a thrall, and followed the map into Riften. Following cryptic notes scattered about lead him to an imprisoned Khajiit who shed more light on what happened to him.
Inigo was responsible for shooting Faelon and leaving him to die, causing him to be found and enslaved by the wizard. If you've ever had the Inigo mod installed, I decided to canonize the story that he tells the dragonborn about his betrayal into Faelon's story.
Onto Faelon and his sister - yeah, I know what you're thinking. His lore is huge and extensive. I know.
Faelon and Baela share a father - the whereabouts of Faelon's other parent are unknown because he doesn't remember any of it. Baela doesn't know much about their father either, as she was very young when he either died or disappeared. Her mother was never in the picture, having had her and then fleeing to Morrowind. Faelon, the older of the two siblings, raised her from then on until she reached 14 - at which point he went missing after taking a mercenary job with Inigo.
They meet about a decade and some change later in the Ragged Flagon below Riften. Faelon has no clue who Baela is even though she's ecstatic to have finally found her long lost brother - who she had presumed to either be dead or long gone to some other place outside of Skyrim.
Faelon used to be a very compassionate and loving brother. Years of unfathomable abuse and feeling vulnerable had twisted him into something sinister, though, something power hungry and ruthless - and even still, Baela didn't blame him and tries to rekindle their familial bond. We love tragic siblings, don't we?
I talk about Mercer and Faelon a lot. I won't add more rambling about them here, but if you want to know about them specifically, feel free to send me an ask about them. The amount brainworms I have for those two are unending.
I'll also do the same for Veris - I feel like this ramble is long enough.
Feel free to send hyper-specific asks to me, whether they're about ocs or my stories! As long as they don't potentially spoil future events within my main story (Dust and Dim Sunshine), I'll answer them.

Do you think the characters designed by Ume Aoki in the Madokaverse suffer from same face syndrome? Back in my Reddit days, I asked the r/mendrawingwomen subreddit what they thought of the girls in both the original anime and the Madokaverse, and they said that the Ume Aoki characters were victims of that syndrome, even the Holy Quintet. Tbh while a lot of Ume Aoki designed characters do share the same face but not all of them, I think the quintet have distinctive enough faces to tell each other apart.
I mean... yeah, but also... Ugh, you opened the gates to a rant.
See, "same face syndrome" is one of those Internet Media Criticisms™️ that gets flattened into a label you can put on something to make it seem like you do have a point against it, even when the label itself is the most surface-level take you can think of. And applying it to Madoka feels particularly shallow when 90% of anime does the same, but oftentimes even worse. Hell, even anime that portrays more nuanced humans tends to have a base for what attractive, lead-type people look like (think One Piece, Cowboy Bebop, or Gurren Lagann).
That's not to say that I am a fan of this fact. As someone who has been irrevocably influenced by Steven Universe in her artstyle, I find a lot of appeal in media that goes out of its way to not only have very distinct faces but also bodytypes within its cast. But while I don't necessarily want to defend it, that doesn't mean that pointing out Same Face Syndrome as gotcha to call an aesthetic "bad" and leaving it at that counts as valid, insightful criticism.
Like ok, you know Sword Art Online? The anime world's favorite dead horse to beat? Absolute shit of a show, no one should watch it. All the women that are part of the cardboard protagonist's harem have the same plastic figurine body and face, only in different colors and bust size. The most unique variation among them is that 1 (one) of them has freckles, and she is the loser friendzoned one that is clearly meant to not be as appealing as the others, including the pedo and incest baits.
Tumblr media
HOWEVER. Individually, all of the character designs ARE appealing. The colors are good, the line art and the ratio of detail are balanced, the hairstyles make sense even if they have some flair of exaggeration and I am sorry to be the one to say this, but the outfits are excellent -at least for the seasons I regrettably watched-, with a clearly defined aesthetic that makes sense, and all the girls have different outfits and just... it looks good, I'm sorry! Have you seen the character designs in other harem anime?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, that doesn't make all of that other stuff I said above any less true, nor does it mean that Same Face Syndrome is justified so long as it's pretty*. It just means that for all its flaws, at least SAO put some effort in that area. It was never going to be an effort that would allow for, say, a fat woman to be part of the harem -although no self respecting woman would ever want that- or anything else that would deviate from that base, but the effort was made nonetheless; and as much as I don't like SAO, ignoring the things it does right just to needlessly berate it a little more is disrespectful to the staff members who actually PUT IN THE WORK towards delivering a good product. And it's also, you know, just a bad, counterproductive attitude in general! It's on the same vein as cancelling any piece of media for being "problematic" regardless of how minimum the offense. It's petty spite trying to disguise itself as righteousness.
Now, FINALLY going back to Madoka, YES, Ume Aoki also has a base. And it is fine not to like it. It's fine to want more variety beyond tereme or tsurime eyes, or to just straight-up not like this artstyle where even the adults have this weird big baby-head-and-face above their mostly realistically proportioned bodies. But good media criticism comes from meeting it at its own terms.
I have talked about how good the character designs are individually -and can probably even say more if I have the chance-. I have talked about how well they work as a group. On a general artstyle sense the contrast between the moe cutseyiness but with mostly grounded anatomy works well for the tonal shift, and the animators did well at drawing sad and shocked expressions that don't take the audience out of the action just because it's happening to ridiculously cute girls, at least in my opinion. Everyone is just simple enough to have silhouette that can be replicated with general ease, while being just detailed enough to be memorable. Save for Madoka herself, who is deliberately styled to look archetypical, no other characters in anime look quite like the holy quintet, even taking the clichés they represent into account. I have seen blonde, sisterly anime women with big boobs, but none of them really look like Mami. Same with tomboyish best friends, or fiery redheads, or standoffish, mysterious cool rival girls, none of them have what Sayaka, Kyoko, and Homura have.
My point is YES, PMMM has same face syndrome, but it's fallacious to undermine Ume Aoki's artstyle by ganging on that fact alone. Every piece of media has problems that contribute to a wider net, which means that we can't really interact with anything "pure". Before you dismiss something you really gotta ask what the magnitude of its flaw is: is the same face syndrome here a stain that overshadows everything else, is it one amongst other problems that make the character designs unappealing, or is it just something that is ultimately minimal but should still be taken into account because of how it contributes to a general issue?
*This being said, it is not a failing of moral character to like an artstyle with same face syndrome because you find that base appealing. I mean, like... there's better things to do and worse issues to resolve, right? We all acknowledge that?

About Jason Todd and dog-earing book pages, i think i have my own take(or headcanon) on it and is mostly based on how i myself treat books. more so on how i treat books that i put so much effort in getting and how i treat books that belongs in libraries or just generally belongs to the public.
I think Jason wouldn't mind or even loves it if a book got written on, or dog-eared, or the cover coming off, or just showing signs that they were absolutely loved just as long as they aren't HIS.
In my opinion Jason is quite teritorrial when it comes to his own books, and im not saying he doesnt dog-ear his own books it's rather more to;
He doesnt like it when someone else dog-ears or scribbles on his books.
He'd write things down on the bottom of the pages or on the covers, he'd dog-ear a page when he doesnt have a bookmark around, he'd underline his favorite scenes or lines of his books, the spine would be in half, sticky notes on his favorite pages, he'd circle a certain line and probably attempts to say it irl. But it's himself who does it. Not anyone else.
Tbh i'd be pissed if someone who borrowed my book writes something down on its pages or just leaves some damage on it cause hey, it's mine. It took effort in getting it and im trusting you to take good care of it, the least you could do is, you know, not that. *gestures at dog-eared, scribbled on pages*
Yes Jason would be delighted when he goes to the library and finds books that has obvious signs that it was loved. Yes Jason would be a little peeved because oh my god he hopes the pages don't come off as someone is reading it. Those things can and is allowed to coexist at the same time.
Will Jason get excited when someone borrows his book then underlines their favorite lines and talk to him about it? Yes he will.
Will Jason tell them to not underline pages of his books again the next time they borrow a book from him? Yes he will.
Will Jason make it a big deal if they still do it anyway? No he won't.
Will Jason let them borrow his books again? No he won't.
I think Jason, when it comes to HIS belongings, he can get quite possesive. With what little opportunity he had to have things to call his own when he was a kid, I think it's justified.
And when Jason goes to a library and finds a book that has seen better days, he would probably borrow it. He doesnt care if he's read it already, he'd read it all over again, stopping at pages that has marks; tracing the lines under certain scenes, guessing what the previous readers were feeling based on how shaky the lines were drawn or how deep the charcoal was pressed to the page, reading the over-excited scribbles of theories or just generally shitting on or gushing over a character all while smiling to himself because I used to do this too.

Tell us about the blorbos from your mind! Wich one is your favorite? The one you had the longest? Favorite design??
ALRIGHTLY LETS KNOCK THESE OUT IN ORDER TEEHEE
Long post sorry <3
1. Favorite blorbo:
I can’t answer this I’ll feel bad. But I will tell you who I’m currently obsessed with who is my little scrimble insane scientist Mr Julian Romero. I made him for my friends superhero rp and basically he created a chemical that absolutely changed the world and made it so everyone can have superpowers at will but his lab partner and gay boyfriend??? Kinda. STOLE it from him and took the credit.
So he became evil and now he seeks to tear everything down and also is super fucked up and bioshock style DIYs his superpowers at will here he is. Hiiiiii Julian.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Blorbo I’ve had the longest:
Alright this ones a little complicated cause I am not CERTAIN. Like it depends how we’re defining this. Cause longest consistent use? I’d say my dnd oc Ferrer since I’ve been consistently using him for like 4 years now, but like I guess longest that I’ve had NOW without dropping it would be Amar because I literally just revived him to use him in the above mentioned rp.
So I made Amar in like 9th grade as a little plot of goofy teenage superhero’s, but I since have done a nitty gritty reboot of him for adult reasons so uhh tw for drug use/addiction mostly.
SO BASICALLY amars story is he was raised in an orphanage, which was fine, but got sucked into a bad crowd in the punk scene and eventually got heavily dependent on like. Heavy substance use. Uh one night after a party he got himself a cab to go crash in his little ‘house’ (he’s homeless but he had a Spot so he was headed there), and the cab got absolutely t-boned BAD by a truck. Unbeknownst to him some superhuman chemicals got into his stuff earlier and he basically died in the crash except he Can’t Die so he’s in this weird dead not dead space. He didn’t realize this was the case until he was getting the shit kicked out of him in a dive bar bathroom. I love him he’s so funny and lovely. His only superpower is that he Can’t Die other than that he has normal guy abilities and hits bad guys with pipes. He’s doin a little better since then if ur worried he may be dead but he’s clean mostly and living in a group home type dealio.
If you wanna hear more about him I have his backstory written in more detail on a doc but this will suffice for this ask, here is is <<3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Favorite design blorbo:
Ok so I kinda covered this when going over the other ask with favorite blorbo and why questions but I’ll dive more into WHY I like his design. I present once again Mr Harysin!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So this guys gonna get highlighted cause I have put so much work and effort into the way I dress this man.
The main features of his outfits that I nailed down straight away is a very high waisted look, very tight and movable, but stylish. I mostly based it off matador silhouettes and you can see I was playing with like ceremonial militaristic dress like with those pauldron sketches? Anyways shape, places of flare and hang and angles is super important and has always been super important for this guy. With his outfit iterations it always keeps the same staple things like skin showing in the same place, but gets sharper and rounded or darker depending on where he is In his arc. Over time he’s been leaning further into a red and black palette and his angles have been gettin sharper to reflect the way his character is progressing rn (poorly but also? Kinda good for him), and I also absolutely fucked around with the symbolism in his gloves which I could and have written an essay on but I feel like it’s too much to analyze here. But I will just take this opportunity to say that the amount of intention I put in this guys design?? Is crazy and insane and you should look at it cause I’m very proud <3 also he’s sexy.
Anyways I love answering ur guys asks you can literally ask me anything anytime <3
