It's crazy how this man captured all of our hearts in JUST ONE DAY. IT'S JUST THE FIRST CONCERT. THERE'S SOO MUCH MORE TO COME 😭😵😫.

Please tell us your experience of seeing Yoongi live? How did it go?

listen, anon. I am still processing. the concert was so good, but I went to the newark show, and everything before the concert was so shit. like the videos and complaints you see on twitter from the newark show are both very accurate and somehow also do not tell the whole story. it's not yoongi's fault (and some people actually credit the tour staff for making certain things better) but it definitely has made the whole experience... interesting

BUT the concert. oh my god, anon, the concert.

my seat was 11 rows off the floor close to the band, and when I tell you these seats were perfect, I mean it.

and like... we knew this, but I'm in love with this man? the amount of thought put into every single second of the presentation of the concert is so noticeable. like you can tell that yoongi and his team really went planned every moment of the show to make sure you were feeling the exact emotion they wanted you to feel.

it was such an interesting wave of building tension and releasing it throughout the show. I'm not sure if you've seen clips, spoilers if you haven't and don't want to, but there's this electric sort of tension that starts from the intro with the crash and then them carrying him out that kind of runs through the first chunk of the set to his opening ment. videos that I've seen--even my own--don't really capture it. it's really fascinating.

and then yoongi himself is just a dream. newark was, in his own words, the first day he was free of being sick, and while I could hear just a little bit of raspyness in his voice at the beginning of the concert, the warmer his voice got and the more water (and whiskey) he drank, the less noticeable it was. his energy is just so contagious, and there were parts where it was really obvious that he was just as excited to see us as we were to see him. he was having such a fucking blast on stage

and he's adorable. like we knew this, but the man is a duality king. him going from this confident, sexy "okay now I will play you an acoustic song" to 🥺 and pouty when his guitar string broke. him introducing jimin and then getting jealous that people were paying too much attention to him. he's sexy and he's a whole babie. find me another man who can do both as well as min yoongi. I'll wait.

I'll shove some pics down here at the bottom. they aren't the best, and some of them I probably haven't edited yet, but god the concert was just so fun
