Best Singer: Caitlyn but she doesn't know it. She used to belt in the shower but now she's got a fear of showers (definitely not because of Jinx lmfao)

Most Attractive Muse: ...this is really hard. As a masc lesbian, it's gonna be a heavy tie between Harley Quinn and Caitlyn

Biggest Heart: Ahhhh this one's pretty hard too. I think because I'm more in touch with Arcane right now, I'd pick Vi over Peter Parker. My version of Vi is very emotion based in terms of her knowing what is morally right but she doesn't exactly do what's right if it means hurting someone she loves

Falls in Love Quickest: I was originally gonna pick Harley for this but I'm gonna choose Caitlyn. If you so as much smile at her and are a girl, she will fall head over heels.

Most Likely to Drop Their Phone in the Toilet: Peter Parker. He's definitely on phone number four now.

Ice Ruler: A ruler is different than a leader but I haven't really played any muses that would rule so to speak so as a leader, I'd say Caitlyn

Busy Bee: Caitlyn again. Poor thing's rising up as sheriff to a shriveling country while also trying to unite Piltover and Zaun, as well as deal with her girlfriend's pyscho sister

Most Clueless: Vi? She's very street smart but she's not as smart as others because she never had any schooling

Most Likely to Forget Their Wallet at Home: Peter Parker. Then he ends up leaving his sandwich on the store counter to swing back home, web up his wallet and swing back to the store to pay for his food

Best Dressed: I'm picking this based on whose style I like the most so Peter Parker. Both in terms of Andrew's skater boy-esque version and the typical nerd-like sweaters of all other versions.

Biggest Flirt: Haha Harley Quinn. She does it on the daily as well as at the most inappropriate times

Most Dramatic: Harley again. She will threaten to throw herself off a building because she got a paper cut

Least Likely to Show Up Late: Caitlyn. She's very pointed when it comes to showing up on time.

an update on what I DID do this week, because it mainly involved taxes and cleaning (I made zero progress writing, and in fact moved backwards because I decided I want the novel to be in first person...alas!)

this week, I have:

taped a bedraggled attic duct

changed a musty dusty furnace filter

boiled an ant hill

caulked a leaky creaky shower

hatcheted a stubborn tree root

defeated a threatening bush via clippers

Dug up an unwanted root with a shovel

Raked leaves...so many leaves (but it's spring batrachised! you might be saying...yes, yes it is. that is how long these leaves have been there)

did my taxes (in less than 15 minutes, I'll have ya'll know)

met a woman straight out of an lm montgomery novel who informed me the previous resident died of cancer but that it was their fault bless their heart because they spent too much time sun bathing

emailed a mother superior about yarn

what will next week hold?? hopefully some actual writing...we shall see, we shall see

This interview confirmed

The point of the wilds era games is showcasing mechanics, the 'core' of both games was to build and walk around

There will be no DLC

There will not be another direct sequel

The ultrahand will not continue in future games

The timeline is intentionally unclear to make the game accessible for new fans and the development process (tl;dr All Zelda games are intentionally AUs to a degree)

The producer and director both deny intentional references to prior games in the story, but then say that these similarities represent the soul of the series and the overall myth of The Legend of Zelda (pick a lane)?

The timeline doesn't matter, outside of specific sets of games it's irrelevant on purpose. Whatever you think about the timeline is correct. Continuity is not the point. Maintaining the form while creating something new is the point.

Fujibayashi really only cares about mechanics and Aunoma is totally cool with that

I would make a post about how Sandra OConnor is rolling in her grave, but she is literally still alive. The first woman who ever served on the US Supreme Court is still alive. The Judge who cast the deciding vote in multiple abortion based cases (all which upheld Roe v Wade) is literally still alive. She could still be on the court right now, dementia be damned, because she is still alive but chose to retire. The MOTHER who legalized abortion is still alive. The white Christian Republican woman who voted in favor of upholding Roe against the wishes of her party, her religious leaders, and Ronald Reagan who nominated her thinking she was anti abortion… is still alive right now.

It wasn’t long ago at all. I don’t know whether to say it’s sad how fast the world forgets, or how terrible it is Christianity still makes laws in the US, or how terrifying it is to watch these powerful and ignorant people take away peoples freedoms like it’s nothing. I don’t know what will happen if RvW is actually overturned, I just think it’s awful how quickly progress can be undone by a couple of bitch ass judges. Sandra Day OConnor voted against her personal beliefs because she had empathy for those who had to chose and understood what it meant to sit on the Supreme Court. I wish the current Christian justices were half as good, morally and at their jobs.

im watching some of fit's VOD and i'm losing it at how fit, before having That Conversation with pac, decides to bring up forever's disappearance (which pac wasn't updated on) and mentions all-too-casually that forever might be dead, so then of course pac starts to panic and fit realizes his mistake so he tries to calm pac down by being even more casual about the situation ("he'll get over it"<-saying this about forever possibly being DEAD). he's nailing this, 10/10.

holy shit for the first time in ten years i forgot nicks birthday

their aftercare isn't always aftercare-101, if i'm honest. theo is very bad at it and doesn't really... ever... do that for matthias. and matthias may be very good at giving aftercare but theo is incredibly resistant to it. i mentioned earlier that theo really gets off on praise, but... he also flinches away from it. he's so twisted up about so much of what he wants and he's really, uh... well. he makes it really hard to get close to him and offer comfort despite how much he desires it. matthias can't say certain things without scaring theo off (and i mean, like, theo will quite literally run away), so he has to talk around what he wants to say and what theo needs to hear to prevent theo from bolting before he can bring him down.

matthias takes a long time cleaning theo up and massaging his muscles after, and he'll hum or talk to himself in polish so theo knows he's still there touching him (but isn't stirred before he comes to himself on his own by english he can understand). when he's finished, he'll ask theo very simple yes or no questions that let matthias know how theo's feeling without outright asking how he's feeling. he also checks on theo throughout the day, but he has to be even more subtle there or theo starts to feel smothered. is your body okay? do you want me to get you dressed? does your head hurt? do you want me to read to you? he focuses on asking about the physical and what theo wants to do rather than theo’s emotions. matthias has learned that asking if theo's feeling okay after is a quick way to trigger a very, very negative response in theo. it's one of the reasons why i think matthias is constantly asking theo in the heat of sex how he's feeling, because that's when theo is so preoccupied by the physical aspect that the emotional effects leak out without him fighting to keep them in. it takes a few months for theo to get comfortable with the feelings he has after sex with him before matthias can really give him proper aftercare. that’s why the sex they have early on is never anything too crazy. matthias coaxes theo into a better place first.

i also think it’s important to clarify that it’s not like they’re always having kinky sex. still, theo usually needs physical touch after vanilla sex as well. matthias himself always craves conversation afterwards, so he waits for theo to stir awake (because he often falls asleep after sex) or come back into his body fully to talk to him.

as for changes to their sex life after they’ve been together for awhile… i believe i've talked about this before, but their sexual dynamic turns on its head after a few years. theo starts to take control of the reins and gets more comfortable asking for and doing what he wants. with theo he just has a lot holding him back and it's only after he's grown as a person and worked past a majority of his intimacy issues that he can act on the desires he's been burying waaay down. there's a sort of brattiness that theo starts to have a lot of fun with during sex—a lot of pushing and prodding, withholding, insulting... matthias is having the time of his life lmao, like he loves being challenged and pushed around. matthias takes on a more submissive role during sex as they age, which is fun for him. plus it's kind of the dynamic they've always had outside of sex anyway. of course, there are never any set roles in their sexual life so i'm not saying that it's always like that, but theo enjoys telling matthias what to do and how to do it. they have a lot of fun with it.

loghain is not a good or justifiable person by any stretch of the imagination but he is still anora's father and she clearly loves him so much and it is just. tragic. i think some players expect her to hate her father outright but its clear their relationship is very complicated and i actually appreciate the way bioware approached it. idk what my point is here but i enjoyed that a lot. i guess it ties into the first point, where she will put the needs of ferelden ahead of even her own father and their relationship

anora is such a talented diplomat! i do love reading the codexes and correspondences from her during Inquisition, where Josie remarks that anora handled the negotiations with orlais without needing any of her invention or help and called her a skilled diplomat.

her sense of humour. anora is dry and witty and its nice to see that side of her poking through her reserved demeanour the deeper you get into her dialogue !

despite all objections and the fact it damaged her reputation and credibility, anora offered the mages sanctuary in ferelden. i think given the aftermath of the mage-templar war and general anti-mage attitudes at the time this is a Very Big Deal. ( i know alistair does this too but anora is sole queen in my worldstate so. Yeah)

she has a strong nose. 10/10

imo one of the biggest challenges of writing an AU is trying to make the setting/characters feel lived-in. with canon, you already know those people and places exist outside the scope of whatever’s going on, but in AUs it’s very easy to end up with locations that autopopulate when you need them or characters that show up as cameos for the sake of checking every box.
