I'm not trying to be an asshole but I think the funniest thing about fandom discourse is that the same kinda people who will tell you to kys for "liking incest" all because you ship two characters with the same mentor are the SAME PEOPLE that will bend over backwards to defend the most uninspired, bland, and toxic ass ship you've ever seen just because it's canon and het.

This grown ass woman seeing them #as her brothers in arms rather than her Brothers.#and that makes sense. right? a 20 y/o woman going jnto the marines doesnt suddenly view all of her basic training peers the same way as she #sees the two annoying kid brothers she left back home. and instead these guys are now her brothers in arms. the people who are going to #watch her back while she watches theirs.#so if thats easy to comprehend then why is it so hard for people to understand that jason and tim (at least in fucking preboot) Do Not See #Each Other As Brothers. hell! preboot jason is a straight up villain! and one that both hates what tim represents as robin but also #has a high level of respect for tims capability as a hero! preboot jason considered/worked with exactly Two People in his entire 6 years #and they were Scarlet and Tim.#he had trust issues put the fucking door and Didnt Like People and he *still* put her cards out there during bftc to ask tim to work #with him. and sure. bftc fucking sucks. cass should have been batman and just reverted him to urban legend status within the media. however #all of the character interactions (at least the ones where theyre helping each other) are Actually Pretty Well Done. this arc Does actually #help tim and dami reconcile a bit. dick finally steps into the shoes left for him. jason shows that -while off his fucking rocker'his goal #of hasnt changed- DESPITE the fact that hes an entire and highky influencial crime lord!#that emotional journey from to #it just has the potential to be so fucking GOOD and theres nothing wrong with seeing this possibility and runnjng with the ship you think #would come out kf that kinda arc. i mean. hell its Gorgeous.#then meanwhile youve got yja meg brain-nonconning connor while evryone excuses it and antis bend over BACKWARDS to defend it.

interpreting foolish making a few of his own skins as qfoolish knowing how to sew and making his own clothes is one of my favourite headcannons because one of qfoolishs main ways of expressing his love and care is acts of service, he loves through actions. So it only makes sense that he might tend and care for the clothes of his loved ones too

imagine qfoolish sewing all of Leo's clothes, each new shirt or sock getting slightly larger than the last as she grows up before his very eyes, feeling immense pride as he goes from sewing tiny rompers to elaborate dresses that take days to complete and rolls and rolls of fabrics just to her liking all for his little girl. His heart melting ever so slightly as he starts all over again with a red and white striped scarf for a baby Pepito.

qjaiden showing her his wings and foolish immediately insisting she hands over every vest and shirt she has to add wing holes into the back so she never has to feel constrained and hide herself ever again.

For the longest time qroiers clothes were plagued with tears and gashes. Rips in his overalls after bobby passed, the gash in his hoodie from a friendship turned backstabbing. He can't find it within himself to fix alone, he hardly knows how. Until he's adopted, qvegetta and qfoolish taking him in with open arms and suddenly there's another hand steadying his shaking fingers because qfoolish cannot undo the hurt qroier has faced but with needle and thread he can help his son repair what he has

Mixing this with another headcannon, I like to think that the suit qroier wore at his wedding might've been one of qvegettas from one of his failed marriages. Knowing he'd never allow himself to wear it and let himself be hurt again and so instead wanting his son to have it and see it worn at a happy wedding, one based upon genuine love. Though he may never experience that moment himself at least someone he loves can, the cycle continuing for qvegetta but finally breaking for roier. But Vegetta is BUILT, broad as a brick wall and muscled like no other, and foolish steps in, adjusting the shoulders and waist and whatever else until it's perfectly tailored for qroier ready to walk walk down the aisle carrying the love of both his fathers with him.

Alejandro

Cane user

The robot suit healed most of him but mobility is still strainful so the interns gave him a cane

It was hooked cane and it was quite old

He hated it it was bland,brown,old,short, and uncomfortable.

After All Stars Heather and Alejandro saved up money to get him an actual cane

It was tall and had a fake (but real looking) ruby at the handle, it was brimmed with gold paint at the top edge toward the handle and the bottom edge

It had a custom golden pattern painted on it of a snake and an eel twirling aroung the cane

(For reference, Noah calls alejandro an eel, while heather has been called a snake)

Heather found it stupid

Alejandro loves it

Heather always fetches his cane for him, but sometimes playfully puts it away so Alejandro has no choice but to cling onto her

Heather likes carrying Alejandro around, wether it be on her back, on the shoulder, or princess/bridal style

Whenever he finds out he get playfully angry at heather, but she always gives it back

Heather has to often give massages to alejandro or fetch his medicine

Alejandro alway apologizes for this and feels guilty that heather has to be constantly looking after him

He often pays his respect by making Heather a delicious dinner every night

Heather pretends to hate it, but she likes taking care of him

Heather does feel bad for Alejandro and tries to be the best for him, but will still be mean to him and vice versa

When he accidently sat a table away from Noah and Owen at a fancy resturant, he hit noah where it hurts with his cane

He made sure it hurt

Tyler often visits and hold Alejandros cane while Heather makes some coffee for them

He finds it really cool and always wants to hold it

He likes complimenting alejandro on how tough he is for living like this

again, trauma chair fixed mostly fixed him but not everything

Had nearly died due to loss of blood, and had been taken in by the medical resort on Playa des Losers

Was fully aware of his surrondings, just paralylized

His sister (Alberta) and his Papi took care of him

His family is poor and Scott sleeps with a matress on the floor, they were unable to give him any proper medical care other than letting his body heal itself

Once he was allowed out of the chair he just laid there on his mattress not even a singular pillow on it

Alberta was basically stuck to him, hugging him and crying on his chest wondering if he would even be able to make a full recovery, even if he was a bitch to her for most of her life and many other people she missed him

Scott could move around a little bit, whenever his sister cried and hugged him he always attempted to hug her with one arm to thank her

Once he was fully unparilyzed he had to use Leg braces (not the cast looking ones just the strapped ones) over his legs

He became very sensitive to sudden movements,loud noises/areas ,and bright lights

developed such a great fear for water he sprayed himself with a hose to shower and refused to even spill it on himself

His fear of water decreased over time,to the point he allowed himself to swim in pools but not open ocean,but the Galeophobia stuck with him forever

He tries to go someday without his Leg braces but he often just squirms and struggles to walk for a second before collapsing on the floor

Developed the worst sleep schedule, he has nightmares about when Fang attacked him often

Undiagnosed ptsd,depression and paranoia

Sam,Lightning and Brick go out with him often to hangout

Sam always brings candy incase he feels like jes about to pass out, Lightning and Brick are the huggers and scott brings his headphones to listen to music if it gets too loud

They take good care of Scott and try to make sure he lives happy

(Everyone in that friend group is mentally ill

Occasional wheelchair user

Had a leg deficiancy as a kid and had to use a wheel chair for most of his childhood

He had to drink milk and take a lot of medicine to cure him of this when he was 13

Near death moment due to an accidental overdose but lived and made a full recovery

Diagnosed autism, he fixates on science,math,chemistry,robotics,etc and socially awkard,doesnt understand social norms and introverted cmon

Doctors office was basically his second home, visited about twice a month

He has other physical restraints that have physical activity be a difficulty for him

At the All Shits Finale after he had boulders dumped on him he was in the same wheelchair he had as a kid

He didnt grow much in height so it still fit him

For anyone wondering;

He had it customized for himself with a neck pillow, joystick and had painted parts of it red

Him,Gwen,Zoey and mike helped decorate it more with stickers,more paint and a small attached photograph of the four in a small slip

Anyone got any recs for actual play dnd (or other ttrpg) podcast thats actually intended to be audio based and not "Visual but we turned the audio into a podcast"??

#ive got over an hour commute EACH WAY 5 days a week now and theres only so many educational podcasts you can listen to before realising that #youve essentially extended your workday another 2-3 hours each day. oh and i also have trainings which are another 40 minute commute IN THE #OPPOSITE DIRECTION #:'(#but yeah i digress. i need podcasts where i get to turn my mind off #ive been through taz and ive tried cr and dimention20 but its too visually based and i feel like im missing out or have to focus way toomuch #also did listen to dungeons and daddies but parents loosing their kids is a trigger for me so yeah...#so preferably tips where child endangerment / looking for lost kids / losing parents isnt a big plot point #not space

#ada speaks #i think i could probably recite the entire one sided phone conversation he has with daisy by heart and i havent seen the ep in months #i don't know how to explain it but #from what little ive read of ross' writing it feels like. when you click onto a fanfic and you feel immediate deep trust of the author #like it just clicks #the cookbook characterization specifically. is like.#i would put my life in your hands #and im sure we will get more eps by him and i really hope that continues because i think its been a very long time since the shows had #writers that i feel Get the characters in a way that feels effortless rather than. overcompensating.#like you can smell that writer's signature no matter how hard they try to cover it up with jokes and subversions #which isnt always a bad thing and im sure if we do get more maloney eps i'll pick up on his writers quirks too #but it doesn't feel like he's trying to copy anyone/pull from old eps it feels like he has a good grasp on things which makes it feel fresh #i find that long running shows hit a point where episodes start to feel less cohesive and more like. segmented short films #but if you have a really good group of writers and they find their groove its like. yeah. ok.#i think season 3 is a good study because marder and rosell's influence is all over the entire season #later seasons you can literally just. Feel which eps they worked on because its got a completely different vibe from the rest of the season #16 still suffers from that segmentation but #i think all the first time sunny writers (and nina's first solo ep) were all absolutely fuckin bangers and they've got a good team in there #anyway. characterization of dennis flipflops a lot. but the rest of the gang arguably gets it worse at times #i think megan's dee is the absolute worst aside from conor galvin's #and i understand wanting to write her as a girlfailure who is just. horrible. but.#ok. comparing self help book dee to ross' cookbook dee. i dont even have to say anything do i.#she's like. The Woman. in the self help book. and i fucking could not stand it. ross' dee is so perfect though #and his frank. not me popping back on here with a post after months of semi-inactivity (uni is being a bitch) just to reiterate how much i love writing the pahkitew island cast.

aside from sammy and amy (obviously), literally everyone else can be shipped with one another and it'd make sense to some degree, like it takes skill to create a group of people so inherently shippable (platonically and/or romantically) and ofc the writers didn't know it they just shoved a bunch of random ppl together and dusted their hands off on it but fr tho 😭

(yeah im planning out my leonave 'stranger things inspired' au, and the gears are turning, and i forgot just how much i love writing for this dumbass group)

also ok maybe had a weird little freak moment yesterday :/ i was with lydia and needed to eat my godawful shitass sushi before going to the library so anyway who do i spot but the roommate with some random guy naturally and im like lydia pause i need to be a stalker but so casually for just like a sec. (this is in a downstairs like cafe/hallway/elevators area) so i stall and then we go to check for a free room to sit in and when there r ppl in it we just go back near the cafe area and theyre over in this little. alcove. of a sitting area. lounging. and im so normal and rlly naturally glanced over a couple times hoping to god the guy didnt see me cause luckily roommate was faced away. anyway. but lydias screenaging it up so im just sitting there awkwardly. and i have to walk past them at one point to get soy sauce to drown the sushi in and maybe that made me look like a weird little stalker too. well again this is if the guy even knows who i am and prob not so whatever its like fine. but like yeah and then i def saw them getting up and then on the elevator to leave so i think my skittish little creature tendencies scared off the vibe from across the room even... and i didnt just wave like a normal person bc i wasnt sure they saw me but we've spotted each other at much greater distances there's simply no way. i was treating them like what the kids call an 'opp' kinda... me when im an anxious little beast...

uhhhhhh lessee

personally i have prescriptions for it cause mine screwed my brain up but obvious ones like proper rest + maybe log what you eat and see if theres any correlation + general put nutrients in your body stuff which is actually kind of hard to keep track of

i have some REALLY WEIRD scent based triggers so i have to stay away from ammonia-like scents and eucalyptus cause those will put my ass out flat IMMEDIATELY, thats not an everyone thing but maybe note if theres sensory stuff around you that might be a trigger

for me warm toned lights and screen tints are way better than cool tones/white light and if youve got light colored eyes wear amber tinted sunglasses outdoors

water + salty snack > pedialite > gatorade and depending on caffeine sensitivity maybe moderate that cause it can either help or hurt, kinda depends on the person, but water and saltines will get you electrolytes and its cheap as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck even if it doesnt taste as great as gatorade

sunlight on your skin and not in your eyeballs

also vitamin d just in general helps but its way better to actually use the sun for that than trying to digest it so like just 10ish minutes in the sun is what my neurologist recommended on top of taking 2000mg tablets

thats what ive got off the top of my head

#im not a neurologist but i dont get them as bad anymore at least #also if learning what you feel like beforehand so you can nip it before it starts helps a LOT #if you can take a painkiller before it starts itll do way more for you #but also dont undertreat it like dont stick it out thats what fucked me up hardcore just take the painkiller #i have to take at least 800mg of ibuprofen if i even sniff a migraine coming on but check with a doc before you do that #i also gotta pair it with sumatriptan and i can only do that 3 times a month Or Else #if ibuprofen doesnt knock it outta me its an er trip and they stuff an iv in me and pump my ass so full of drugs #oh also too much water can also cause migraines #best to stick with the 8 8oz a day thing and not go too far over #but yeah being proactive and preventative is better than coasting and treating them when they come #sometimes ill sip a little pickle juice causenits got magnesium and potassium on top of the sodium for electrolytes #i know food logs arent GREAT but they can help with stuff like this even just kinda checking in on if youre getting everything you need #i go sorta peasant with it like as long as ive had a couple greens in a week i should be good to go #snap peas or artichoke hearts or other really solid veggables #or #god bless #The Cucumber #cucumbers are the powerhouse of the vegatable

Thinking about going to World Most Boring Bible Study Ever. Idk yall. Idk. Idek.
