If I'm honest, the whole "love in every stitch" saying for fiber artists does not apply to me, like. I'm trying to get this fucking hook into stubborn yarn and I'll be stabbing it like it owed me money. Is that love because I hope not 😭💀

i am so completely and utterly enamored with @gnomeniche's director, writer, actor analysis and the vivid clear image it has planted in my head. wanted to bring that image out of my brain and into the world <3

Random ass fingerless glove from todays car drive + finishinh at home. Ill make the other one. Ive alwaus wanyed 2 try using a bee stitch on the top of a glove / sock & basic stitch on bottom... such a cute texture difference. The bee stitch is SHORTER tho similiarlu 2 like. Reinforced stitch? 💀 so the bottom gets way longer? I sliiightly eased this by doing extra trick layers of the top part but i noticed it kinda late so its still a bit shorter. Ill do the matching one w the notes i wrote down but next time ill start adding layers earlier

this scarf pattern sucks to work on bc each row is 450 stitches in fingering yarn (it's a gift so i must soldier on) BUT the colors are genuinely entrancing. constantly catch myself just looking at the colors and ESPECIALLY love 2 touch the purl side...

It's a weird feeling, recognizing myself going from sharp grief to a duller longing. A more vague missing. The details are blurring and the intensity is fading but the feeling persists. Like strands of yarn felting themselves into a muddled rainbow of an emotional ball.
