I see your writing for fire emblem engage and I really love that game and I just finished it for maddening. I don’t know if this is a request or not but may I ask in the context of the base emblems, can you rank them based on how extreme they would be as a yandere like I think I would rate emblem Celica as 12th cause even if she turns yandere she still very passive and more so she’s just clingy but I would rate Byleth a 4th due to him being extremely manipulative and overprotective

Hii, welcome to the blog! I´d say normally I would consider this a request but I´m kind of in the mood to write for fire emblem right now so I thought this would be a fun little thing to do ^^

Now I must confess that for most of the lords ( which the majority of emblems are) I have some difficulty with trying to think of them as a yandere or in a self-shipping context in general. Don´t really know why that is. I also haven´t played all of the games yet so I can´t say too much about some of them, I hope that´s okay!

Also because I have a real hard time ranking things in order, here are just some thoughts on most of the emblems as yanderes ☺️

How are the 12 base emblems like as yanderes?

Marth

Now I´ll have to be honest, I actually haven´t played any of Marth´s games yet so I´m not very familiar with his character. But as with most FE lords, he strikes me as a very kind and heroic character. In Engage he kind of takes the role of a supporter and protector of the Mc and we can see that in general, he is pretty gentle.

He probably wouldn´t be a very bad yandere to be stuck with, I can´t see him ever getting violent with his darling. He strikes me as a protective yandere (something that can be said for most of them) who will do whatever he can to keep you safe while trying to make your stay with him as comfortable as possible.

Celica

I haven´t quite finished Echoes yet because I´m very bad at finishing games but I agree with your take that she also wouldn´t ever harm her darling. She´s a very devout follower of Mila and I think that same mentality could also apply to her darling. Slowly but surely, she starts seeing them as a divine being worth worshipping. She´s been completely alone for most of her life and after she had to leave Ram Village, she´s been craving more human connections. So when she finally met you, it was like Mila had sent down an angel for her. You were so kind to her, so trusting and good-natured, Celica was immediately fond of you.

She will do whatever she can to aid you in your daily life, she has to repay you for everything you gave her. She´s not very likely to attack other people, even as a yandere, because above else she wants peace. Nonetheless, if a monster or a criminal were to try and attack you, she would kill them no questions asked. No one is allowed to lay their hands on someone as divine as you, she won´t stand for it.

Due to a certain spoilery scene that happens in Echoes, I believe that Celica would also be willing to sacrifice herself for you. If there ever was a point where she would have to choose between your or her own life, she would choose yours without any regrets.

Your survival is of the utmost importance and if that means giving up her life in exchange for yours, then she is happy.

Sigurd

I have only played the prologue and chapter 1 of FE4 and ragequit when Jamke was killing my units in the forest because I couldn´t get them out in time to recruit him. Oops.

Well from what I know with how his story with Deirdre develops, I believe that Sigurd would fall for you much in the same way: Hard and fast. And if nothing else, Sigurd is stubborn. Once he has his mind set on wanting to make you his, he won´t give up until he finally has you, no matter the consequences. I mean he was literally forbidden from getting with Deirdre and he still did it. He doesn´t care what anyone else says, he doesn´t care if you already have a lover. He knows that the moment you two shared together at your first meeting was magical for both of you. He knows the love between you two is true. And he´s willing to risk it all for you.

It´s a good thing if you actually do feel the same way about him and are single! Because even though he isn´t a bad person, he does conquer several territories in Fe4 without any specific orders to do so. He may not like doing it but if it means he can have you, he would be willing to kill any romantic rivals there might have been ( or any he might have imagined).

Once you´re actually with him, he naturally is very protective of you and doesn´t let too many other people get close to you.

Leif

Now I have to admit, Leif is probably the character I know the least about here. As I said, I never played Fe4 to the point where you would get him and I haven´t played Thracia either. So most of this is just the vibes I get and a few lines from Heroes.

Now Leif has quite a tragic story and has been driven out of his kingdom when he was still young. Ever since then, he had made efforts to try and reclaim what had been taken from him. Because of that, he also strikes me as someone who would fight for his darling. He knows what it´s like to lose people that are important to you ( his parents) and now that he has clawed his way back from the brink, he doesn´t want the same to happen to you, the person he has decided he wants to spend his life with. He´s pretty desperate to protect you actually.

Still, he´s pretty young and so the love he feels for you very much still is a puppy-love kind of thing. He likes talking to you and finds it comforting to do so. He´s very nice to you and you aren´t really in any danger when being with him. I think being with him isn´t all too bad, he´s just a bit over-protective if anything.

Roy

I´ll be honest, I know almost nothing about Roy so I´m sorry if this is short😭 Predictably, I haven´t played Binding Blade yet.

He´s also one of the younger emblems here and that shows itself in how hard he tries to impress you. He´s usually pretty dense when it comes to romance but he knows what he feels when he sees you. You make him happy. I feel like he could be a bit hot-headed because of his age but as far as I know, he´s actually one of the few lords that can potentially make peace with the final boss of the game so there definitely is quite a lot of kindness to him as well. He doesn´t really want to pick any fights with people he trusts, all he wants is to be with you and if you don´t resist then honestly, it´s all going to be okay.

Lyn

Finally, after quite some time, we get to some more games I´ve actually played! And here we go with Lyn! Fe7 was actually the first Fire Emblem I ever played and it really hooked me even back then <3

Now Lyn actually doesn´t strike me as the type of person who would really actively be looking for any sort of romance. She´s lived alone for most of her life and so she does crave some companionship, but romance is something she really doesn´t have any experience in.

When she meets you, she does feel a bit strange but doesn´t put a lot of thought into it. Quickly as you two spend more time together, she really begins to take a liking to you. It´s nice to not be alone and you´re good company. The more you stay together, the more she grows attached to you. If you can fight, she´ll want to fight along your side, if you can´t or are frail in some way, Lyn will prefer you to stand on the sidelines, where it´s safe. She doesn´t know what she would do if you were ever truly harmed. The attacker definitely wouldn´t be living for much longer, that much is sure.

So to sum it up, Lyn is very protective of you and only trusts a select few people with you, anyone else could be a potential danger and she doesn´t want to risk anything.

I think it would actually be kind of tough for darling to figure out that Lyn is obsessed with them. Lyn doesn´t strike me as very physically affectionate. Only if you watch very carefully can you see the way her eyes soften when she gazes at you or the way her hand around the handle of her sword tenses when a particular troublemaker starts hitting you up. She definitely won´t tolerate anyone trying to flirt with you. She´s known you for way longer than they possibly could have, who do they think they are?

Eirika and Ephraim

I know it´s mainly Eirika and Ephraim is only really present in the special attack but I thought this was more interesting.

So having one person obsessed with you is bad enough but two of them? And they´re siblings too? Things are about to get quite a bit more complicated. The thing is, you´re not really sure if this is better or worse than only having one of them?

Of course, having two people focus all of their attention on you is very overwhelming. It stresses you out, the way they both fuss over you, the way they look at you.

Eirika is definitely the gentler one of the two, speaking to you very softly and taking great care of you. She makes sure you aren´t lacking anything (except your freedom). She also isn´t very fond of conflict and would prefer to avoid it altogether.

Ephraim is the brash and more hot-headed of the two, always picking fights with people he deems a threat ("He doesn´t pick fights he can´t win" or whatever) and generally being bolder with his affections. He doesn´t hesitate to throw his arm over your shoulder to show off to others that you´re his while Eirika prefers to simply hold your hand in her own.

Them being siblings also causes conflict from time to time. After all, what kind of siblings never have any petty squabbles? Suddenly one of them believes that the other has been getting a bit more attention from you than them and the arguing begins. Wild accusations from Ephraim that Eirika is coddling you too much while Eirika complains about the brutish ways in which Ephraim disposes of rivals. It can get annoying really fast but it´s also something that you could potentially try to use to your advantage.

Playing clear favorites with them might make them argue with each other, potentially giving you an opening to try to make your escape while they´re distracted. Do be very careful with this though because once they realize that you´re gone, they´ll quickly get over whatever argument they were having and work together to find you again. Siblings tend to have petty fights with each other but they will have each other´s backs when it comes to the important things. They *will* find you again, who knows what dangers you might be getting yourself into?

Ike

Similarly to Lyn, I can´t really see Ike as someone who is very interested in romance. In Radiant Dawn, he only has two paired endings, which isn´t a whole lot honestly ( and they´re kind of vague on how romantic they actually end up being). So maybe he would be more of a platonic sort of yandere? He cares a great deal about his friends and his family of the Greil Mercenaries and he tries his utmost to protect them. It would be much the same for his darling.

Ike wouldn´t be very physically or vocally loving in the traditional sense, he strikes me as someone who would struggle a fair deal with expressing his feelings, especially if we´re talking POR Ike where he is still fairly young. In the end, his confession would be pretty blunt, a simple "I like you." or "You´re important to me." maybe but nothing flowery or dramatic, that just isn´t the kind of person he is.

That being said, Ike cares a great deal about your well-being, even if he isn´t all that great at putting it into words. So to show you that, he does the one thing he does best: Protecting you. Ike is a very strong and capable fighter and so he will be quick to dispose of anyone that tries harming you. I don´t see him as someone that would try to isolate his darling however, especially not the Greil Mercenaries. These people are his family, he trusts them dearly and he would want you to grow connections with them and enjoy being around them. It would shatter his heart if you didn´t like being around them.

Micaiah

Micaiah I see as another worshipper type of yandere. She´s had a rough life so far, only having very few people around her that she could call friends in the Dawn Brigade while fighting for the liberation of Daein. It´s a lonely life, even with Yune whispering into her ear that one day, she will meet the partner of her dreams, the one to make her happy.

And then, on a day like any other, she finds you. It´s a very unremarkable meeting, one you wouldn´t have thought much of afterwards, but to her, it was like all the stars aligned, as if all of her life and past suffering suddenly had a purpose. She was completely starstruck, a loud pounding in her chest when she laid her gaze on you. At that very moment, Micaiah knew that you were the one Yune had been telling her about all along. And so, she vows to let you know just how much you mean to her.

As a yandere, Micaiah is very caring and thinks of you as a higher being, someone who has more worth than any other mortal walking this earth. You are special to her and so she will be damned if anything were to happen to you. She refuses to allow it. If you were ever in any mortal danger, Micaiah wouldn´t hesitate to use Sacrifice on you to transfer over her own life energy to you.

But while she is very nice and caring with you, Micaiah can be quite a bit more snarky and ruthless than you might have initially thought. She doesn´t shy away from making negative or rude comments to people she thinks you spend too much time around. (Remember that scene where she snarkily calls Ike "the father of Sothe´s children" because Sothe talked about him so much? Yeah.) She´s also willing to do bad things if she feels like she has to. If it´s for you, then no crime is bad enough for her not to consider it. She doesn´t like hurting people but she will if her hand is forced.

Also, can we talk about her having a goddess on her side? Yeah, you´re going to have a very difficult time trying to get away from her anytime soon.

Lucina

Lucina is someone that I think actually has great potential to be a yandere. She comes from a ruined future, a world where all her loved ones and friends died and the entire world is doomed. Now she has travelled back in time to change fate and make things right.

A particularly tragic possibility would be to have her witness the death of her darling in her future. It was an event that deeply scarred her forever and one that she is now desperate to avoid. She can´t allow you to die again, she can´t let it happen a second time. She wouldn´t be able to go on if she ever had to experience that amount of grief again.

So when Lucina finally makes it back in time, her top priority is finding you again. To do that, she has to go back in time quite a bit. Maybe she makes it back to a time where you two aren´t dating yet, or maybe even back to when you hadn´t even met each other yet. You´re so overwhelmed and honestly confused when you´re just going along with your day when suddenly, a young woman rushes towards you and engulfes you in a crushing hug as she cries into your shirt about how much she has missed you.

It´s quite terrifying honestly and you don´t know how to react other than trying to rip yourself out of her grip, which only makes her cling onto you even harder. Her explaining to you that she´s from the future where the entire world has ended and you, her lover, had tragically died and that she now traveled back in time to make things right, doesn´t really put your mind at ease either. I mean, who would honestly believe that?

But no matter what you say, Lucina is determined to not repeat past mistakes. She had been too careless, letting you roam around freely without her at your side, it´s what led to you dying! She won´t let it happen again!

Lucina will try and be sweet to you, knowing how hard this must be for you to believe, but she won´t give you a choice in this. She´s going to stay with you and keep you safe no matter what. She´ll follow you wherever you go with her blade at the ready, prepared to strike at anyone who tries to take you away from her again.

Corrin

Corrin has lived a very sheltered life for the most part, never really leaving the Nohrian castle. Because of this, they had many opportunities to picture what life outside the castle could possibly look like. What else was out there? What adventures or new experiences could wait for them there? Yes, they were always loved by their Nohrian siblings but they couldn´t help but yearn all the same.

Maybe being read some romance books in their childhood led to Corrin developing a fantasy of one day meeting their ideal partner, the one that would shake up their entire world, the one they would spend the rest of their life with. They had dreamed about it a lot in the comforts of their own room, delving into daydreams about what meeting you for the first time might be like.

And then they leave the castle for the first time and they meet you. And just like they had always imagined, Corrin feels themselves immediately lovestruck when you send a smile their way. This was it. This is the person they´re meant to be with, they just know it!

They´ll immediately be very friendly and way too trusting of someone who is basically a complete stranger. But they just can´t help it, their sheltered life hasn´t really helped them in growing a healthy sense of suspicion. No, instead the thought of you possibly doing something shady is completely off their mind.

Ever since that first meeting, Corrin would want to see you again every day. It´s the first real human interaction they had with anyone outside of the Nohrian royal family and the servants in the castle and they´re hooked on you. Listening to you talk about your mundane life is so exciting to them, both because they love listening to you speak and because it is genuinely interesting to them to know what a normal person´s life might look like.

And soon enough, they just won´t leave you alone. They´re sweet and their curiosity is kind of charming, but they are so very annoyingly clingy. They will pout and beg you to stay around for just a bit longer when you tell them that you have to leave. After some time they start inviting you over to the castle and you can´t really refuse to go when a royal carriage is standing before your home one day.

And then suddenly, one day you just aren´t allowed to leave anymore.

" The servants have set up your own personal room for you. I made sure that everything was just to your liking! Now we can spend even more time together, isn´t that simply wonderful", Corrin will simply tell you one day and then it is a done deal. Whatever your life was before, you will have to abandon it to fulfill Corrin´s dream of a happy married life alongside the person they adore the most.

Byleth

Honestly, I´ve kind of strayed completely away from trying to rank them as yanderes ( sorry about that) but I agree that kind of everything about Byleht makes them a scary yandere.

First of all, they´re a trained and experienced mercenary, they have all the fighting prowess they might need to keep their darling in check or make sure that nothing happens to them.

Then, they have their affiliation with the church and a certain position of power. Whether you are a student or not, Byleth is still a respected figure in the monastery and has all the benefits that might bring. She has connections to the Knights of Seiros and even with Lady Rhea herself. If you ever were to run away ( or rather, if you were to be stolen away by bandits, is what they would tell everyone afterwards), several knights or even their students would be sent out to look for you. And do you really think you could get away with so many people looking for you? You´ll be back right by their side within 3 days.

Then there´s also the whole... a goddess is in their head talking to them and them having the ability to turn back time thing. Yeah, you´re very much screwed here. How are you supposed to fight back against someone who can simply turn back time? With this ability, they have so many chances to choose the right words when talking to you or to get rid of someone in secret, without you ever knowing these rewinds even happened. In-game we might have a limited amount of uses but I don´t think it´s ever been confirmed that this is actually something that Byleth needs to adhere to in the story.

And then last but not least, there´s the fact that Byleth is just impossible to read. They don´t show any emotions in their facial expressions and their voice is mostly monotone. You would not be able to tell just how obsessed they are with you from interacting with them. You think you´re just having a friendly tea party with them and suddenly you find yourself drugged and locked up in their room.

And even when they finally have you, they´re just kind of creepy with them staring at you for long amounts of time while not saying anything. They´re not very affectionate either.

But what help could you possibly count on now when everyone at the monastery loves the professor?

Sure! Platonic yandere is certainly something I haven't done much of.

Marth

-Marth very much regrets not being able to fully protect Tiki so he plans on making sure its different this time.

-You'd never be allowed to train in combat in any way. No matter how physically capable or magically inclined you seem to be, your growth will never be allowed. He is focused on keeping you away from battle.

-He and Caeda would forcibly adopt you so you can live in the palace. Though she would most likely be open to it, she doesn't know you still have a family to go back to. The way that he treats you better than their children bothers her slightly. She'd never tell him her real feelings.

M!Corrin

-Corrin is immediately adopting you to be a part of his family as soon as he sees you.

-He is rather strong so he can protect you, but he encourages his siblings to do the same. However, if they seem reluctant to love you as much as he does, then he might cut them out of his live.

-He treats you better than Sakura or Elise, playing with you and spoiling you. If he has kids then he treats you better than them.

-He gets really happy when you call him "big brother" or "dad". Corrin would let you chose whichever you are more comfortable with saying.

-If you have parents, no you don't. Not anymore.

M!Robin

-Robin sees you being lost and alone and wants to be sure that you are put on the right path just like how his friendship with Chrom put him on the right path.

-He doesn't really trust others to take care of you. ESPECIALLY, if your family is still around. He doesn't have any good memories of his family (thanks to being an amnesiac and his dad being Validar) so he doesn't put much stock into those sort of bonds.

-He teaches you everything he knows. Robin believes in being able to rely on yourslef and others, and without strength he can't rely on you when you grow up.

-If he has children, he expects you to be extremely good friends with them. He wants you to be as close with them as he is with Chrom.

◦ I will not write incest. Step siblings, adopted and half, are off the table. In terms of FEH, I’m not going to do Corrin x any of their “relatives.” I will do Summoner x Corrin.

◦I am not comfortable with writing romantic visibly older characters x reader. For twst I am not comfortable writing Staff x reader. For Fire emblem, I’m not comfy with romancing Grail for example. All potential romantic requests with this will be deleted or made platonic.

My first nonanonymous thoughts to you! Sorry, I like testing waters before going in on stuff. I’m replaying Fates and I’m thinking of wingman Corrin trying to hook up her Yan siblings with their darlings and it going over poorly because they can’t recognize the bad behaviors. Like Corrin doesn’t see the way that their siblings express their love as bad since they were raised with it and gaslighting these darlings in the process of trying to make the sibling happy. Probs Nohr more than Hoshidans

@loudwombatscissorsmaker No problem! Everyone at their own pace, as you feel comfortable. I would really like to replay the Fate stories too, but with which time ;;

I definitely see it more like a Nohr problem, where all of them have very difficult family relationships, and especially because Corrin has grown up with them. They practically got taught that, how their siblings act, it’s the right, family-friendly way. Admittedly, whenever all of the nobles find someone they actually like and want at their side, they might end up a little awkward with their uncomfortable darlings, considering that their obsessions aren’t as ‘normal’ as someone like Corrin would confirm it to be. But it’s a blessing that Corrin is there to assist, knowing nothing bad to come from their siblings, always speaking in the highest regards of them and assuring the scared little darlings.

They will agree that all their siblings are special, but the things that the darling tries to convey to them sound a bit hypocritical. Corrin has always a situation in mind that is very alike to what the darling is experiencing, and look: They are still there, so where is the problem? Sure, Camilla can be overwhelming, and Xander is not only awkward but also desperate to be close to his darling, but really, isn’t it nice that they love them? Corrin at least only ever hears good things about the darlings from their siblings.

The one or the other darling might think they are going crazy, hearing that their problems are no problems at all, and some might get angry about not being taken seriously. But at the end of the day, Corrin is a real matchmaker, being able to confuse them all and make them think that just maybe they really are imagining things.

Last but not least, Corrin will be more than happy to also be an emotional support to their siblings, calming them and reassuring them that everything is going well. Maybe their darlings are just shy or had a difficult time adjusting. It’s nothing that wouldn’t be solved with some more time in private between the two, maybe a romantic day outside the castle? Confessions of love can bring two people closer together (at least the yandere to their darling). Or a vacation if the court allows it? Corrin could see no wrong in their doings, being a good enabler, and at the end of the day, they are glad they were able to help the people they love the most.

But now, Xander was a manipulative, terrifying monster of his former self, one you had no qualms running away from when the time came. However, you doubted how much he adored you-- and the atrocities he would commit to getting you back by his side.

Today shouldn’t be a day spent on the battlefield. But fate had other plans for you, devious ones that wouldn’t be undone so easily. How long had you been running, escaping his grasp only to find yourself in the midst of his bloody desires? Xander may not be king of Nohr yet but defying still met certain death; or, it would have, had the crown prince of Nohr not held an unhealthy obsession for you…

In better times, kinder, gentler ones, you might have relished in his affection, may have even returned it and been something… more with him. But there was no going back on this choice. Not after you had seen the lengths he would go through for you… that he still continues to do. You can’t think about the lives tolling up in your wake because of him-- that’s just what he wants, for you to think this was all your fault, to break down and lean to him for support. To trap you in his grasp and cradle you there, coddling you and fooling you into thinking he wasn’t a monster with his sweet smiles… You wouldn’t fall for it any more.

Today was the Day of Devotion. You knew, he would be more motivated than ever to find you. You could hear his words now, feel them plaguing your very skull; how sweet it would be, to be reunited on the Day of Devotion. It was sickening. But you had to had to remain strong, Graciously, the Hoshidian’s had allowed you refuge in their country, even letting you travel with their army for a short amount of time to Cyrkensia, where you would hopefully be able to flee the continent altogether, right under Xander’s nose no less. Azura’s performance would be the perfect distraction for you. The fight that would inevitable follow was merely a bonus.

“I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to travel with you this far.” You turn to Corrin and Princess Sakura, as well as Prince Takumi, and bow your head. “I wish I could help you further, but even my mere presence here now is a danger to you all.” Corrin shakes his head, while Takumi just huffs.

“The information you provided is has been immensely helpful. It’s thanks to you we even know Xander will be here today. We can be prepared because of that.” Corrin offers you a small smile, which you return with one of your own.

“You’re absolutely sure they’ll be there?” Takumi isn’t as convinced. For the few days you’ve been here, he’s been on his tiptoes around you; you can’t blame him for his behavior, though.

“Positive. King Garon loves the shows here and…” You heave a sigh, shaking your head. “...had I still been by his side, this would have been the day Xander proposed.”

“Goodness, really?” Sakura gasped. “In front of all these people? How do you even know?” Her face is flush from the mere thought.

“It was the day he wanted to go public with it. We… were engaged far before that. He knew I couldn’t deny him in a front of a crowd of people who adored him…” You clenched your fist tightly.

“Xander…” Corrin looks troubled. Xander was his older brother, after all. The rejection of his younger brother, and now you, his beloved fiancee… Perhaps there was an explanation for his behavior but never an excuse. “I’m sorry this all happened to you _____, I can’t help but feel part of this is somehow my fault.”

“Corrin…” You sigh softly. “It’s no ones fault but Xander’s own. We made our choices, and though they were in opposition to him, they were ours to make.” You take his hand in yours, surprising him before you continue. “But if we fault in the paths we’ve taken, everyone, from the people in your army to Xander himself, will suffer for it. Stay strong.” With one last squeeze of his hand you drop it.

“...Right.” He nods, and you can see him steeling himself. “Today, we’ll end this…”

“The shows about to start, we should hurry.” Takumi sends a look to you over his shoulder, ushering his siblings closer.

“Stay safe everyone. I believe in you.” You send one more smile Corrin’s way before heading off on your own to the ports. If things went okay, they would be able to defeat Garon, and maybe even stop Xander…

You knew little about the world outside of Nohr, Hoshido, or even Nestra, but anything was better than the war that countries faced and the terror that followed you here. It wouldn’t be easy start anew in a foreign place… “You should catch a nice price though…” From your pocket, you produced a ring; casted in white gold, and gilded in the finest of amethyst, any woman would have been proud to where it on their finger. But these engagement ring would be a new start for you in a different way.

“…You kept it?” You gasp and snatch the ring close to yourself, surprised to find yourself cornered by none other than Xander himself.

“W-what? How did you…” Your words died on you tongue as he approached you. You were frozen in place, malleable to his touch as he carefully opened your hand and once more slipped the engagement ring on your right ring finger. His silence, and the lack of any signs on anger on his part made you apprehensive.

“Why did you have to leave me?” He held your shoulders, preventing your escape. His ruby gaze was inescapable, his apparent sorrow scalding.

“Why?” You frown, willing yourself not to fall for his tricks. “Look at you! You’ve become a puppet of your fathers will, Xander!” You wrench yourself free from his grasp, surprising yourself. “Once you were a kind prince, someone the people looked up to; someone who I looked up to.” You take a step but to distance yourself from him. “But you’re just as mad as him now. You’ve taken away my rights, treated me like a child, chased me down the realm and back, and for what? Will you drag me back to your side? Will you prove yourself the craven beast I know you to be?” You glared up at him now, trying your best to read his mood, to not be affected by the hurt you saw in his eyes. He had already done far worse to you.

“Who has fed you these lies, dearest?” Xander approaches you, finally acting on his desire, lies spilling forth from his lips as he stocked towards you. “Who has fed you this poison, that you are so freighted by me even my face before you has you trembling?” You hadn’t even noticed it before, but you were; your hands were shaking and the familiar feeling of adrenaline was beginning to course though your veins. Fight or flight was beginning to over take your mind as he merely got closer, spoke a little more softer to you. “Won’t you tell me who I need take care of?” He got close enough to caress your cheek with his gauntlet only for you to flinch away from his touch. He faltered, if only for a moment.

“You’re too blind to realize it was you yourself who led me to this. I would sooner forsake my homeland and take up arms with the Hoshidian’s than return to your side once more!” You tried to be fierce, to show Xander you weren’t afraid of him. “I won’t go with you.” He was frowning now, lurching forward and taking your arm in a gasp that wouldn’t easily be shaken off.

“Why don’t I take you to see the show? To see what happens to traitors.” His voice was even, his face turning dark as you tried to struggle. His grip was bruising, and you were willing to cause a scene.

“Corrin is your brother!” You argue. “Why are you willing to show lenience to me and not him?” You cry. His shock is enough for him to drop you. You pull back dramatically, gently rubbing the spot on your forearm where he caught you.

“You’ve yet to totally betray me.” His eyes linger on the ring you let him replace on your finger. You hold it protectively to your chest.

“That’s… this is different.” You huff, scowling at him. “There’s nothing left in me that cares for you as I once did.”

“Don’t be foolish.” You yelp, looking back to find Xander’s backed you up to the a large crate near the docks. “You just listened to the same lies those rotten Hoshidian’s fed to Corrin, didn’t you?” He shakes his head softly. “I won’t let them take you from me as well _____.”

“You’ve listened to nothing I’ve said!” You cry. “Xander, stop this! Actually listen to me for once in your life!” You beg him, hands finding place on his chest.

“You must be so confused… And scared…” He sighs, as if some great sorrow was just discovered, as if you really were as scared and confused as he claimed. He was clearly delusional, at least when it came to you and your thoughts and feeling; you really had to escape him now, lest you be stuck with this man who could not see you for what you were the rest of your life.

“I’m not confused! And the only thing I’m scared of is what you’re planning to do-- Xander, Xander stop!” He takes you by the arm, as any prince and gentleman should, and begins leading you over the performance hall. “Let me go!” Though you are loud and vigorous in your attempt to not be lead away from him, the grip he has on you is stronger than anything you could put up a fight against. There isn’t hardly anyone on the streets to see you struggle against him, everyone has gone to the hall to watch Azura preform… You know once you’re in there, it’s too late for you. People will recognize you, hanging off the princes arm. And if his siblings are there, they’ll only reinforce their brothers delusions…

“Everyone’s going to be delighted I found you once more, _____. Elise is even here with us… I dare say she missed you as much as me.” He laughed softly as he lead you inside, as if you weren’t fighting like a rabid animal to be free of his hold.

“...Elise?” You stopped your struggling at her name. You couldn’t let the young Princess know just how twisted and vile her dear older brother had become in your name… if she saw you…

“Xander! _____!” As if on cue, the young girl appeared before the two of you as you entered the building. Barely, you managed to catch her in a hug as she barreled towards you. “Ohh, I missed you so much! I was so scared for you.” She looked at you with big doe eyes, and your heart beat painfully at it. So, this is how he planned to keep you in line…

“Hey sweetheart…” You gently smoothed down her hair as she snuggled into you. “I’m sorry to have worried you, I just…” You pause, looking to Xander as he frowned softly.

“Xander said you didn’t love us anymore, is that true?” Her eyes were watering. You hushed her gently, moving to sit on your knees to better be at her level.

“I could never stop loving you, you know that.” You gave her a smile, a genuine one. Elise’s innocence was something to be protected… You couldn’t let her know the true nature of your relationship with Xander. “I just… had some business to attend to before our big day here, that’s all.” You sigh softly.

“Big day!” She gaps. “Are you two--” You hush her by placing your finger over her lips, and winking.

“It’s a surprise! Don’t ruin it for anyone!” You manage a smile for her.

“Come on you two.” Xander is smiling as well. He helps you to your feet and you can’t help the looming sense of dread that lingers in you as his hands leave you. “The show is nearly over now, and father is expecting us. We’ll get to announce the news after that.” With the joy only a young girl could bring, Elise bounds over to the stairs that lead to the balcony over viewing the stage. Once alone with you, he speaks again. “You even remembered what today was, didn’t you?” You hate how… in love with you he looks. It looks genuine; it brings up old feelings you would rather forget…

“The Day of Devotion.” You frown, looking away from him as you ascend the stairs.

“Today is the day we first say I love you to one another… Was it really two years ago?” He sighs softly and you falter for a moment.

“I said that to a man you no longer are.” He’s silent as the two of you finally make it to the terrace. Elise is there, as is King Garon. You’re greeted with the usual dismissal and nod he had given you in the past; you doubt he even noticed you absence. You look past him, to the crowd gathered on the boats and docks below. You note, its not yet Azura singing… She must not have preformed yet. You can’t see any familiar faces in the crowd, so perhaps Corrin’s army is more well hidden than you thought… Maybe, there was still a chance for you to escape.

“_____…” The songstress’s words are dying in your ears as you meet Xander’s gaze. It’s nothing but tender gazes and bygone feelings that twist around in your stomach. Oh, gods above, he’s kneeling-- Elise is gasping and even Garon has shifted his attention to the two of you, an unreadable look on his face. It’s nearly too much as your stomach turns and shifts inside you. “We’ve been through so much together-- I’ve proven to you I would do anything to keep you at my side. I’ve found you at the ends of our shores, and brought you back where you belong. Please, I can’t bare to be without you-- do me the honor of being my wife, and give me the privilege of being your husband.” He’s so serious. You know you can’t refuse him. Not here, not now. But still, words hesitate to leave your mouth.

“X-xander… I…” You stumble over your words, staring down at him as he gazes adoringly at you. Faintly, you can hear someone else has begun to sing. Their voice is familiar, and even the words they’re singing… Its not until you notice Garon in pain that you gasp. “Azura!” You drop Xander’s hands, much to his dismay, and turn to watch her. Her performance is breath taking and amazingly, its affecting Garon. He looks as if he’s about to burst or something, and things quickly devolve after that.

You can hardly keep up with it; someone is telling Xander the Hoshidian’s are here, Garon is quickly taken away to recover, and Xander is gearing up for battle as Corrin and his army show themselves. Xander, though it all, looks more than angered; you can see through his crimson eyes that this is something that cannot be forgiven.

“They dare ruin our moment?” Xander won’t even let you leave his side, hoisting you up on his horse to fight before you can think twice. “I think it’s high time I show them, and you, just what happens when you betray the kingdom of Nohr.”

“Xander wait! There are still innocent people here!” You beg, gripping on to his back as he rode into battle. “Please, let them escape! It’s not as it if Corrin knew what you had planned today! It’s not worth innocent lives to try and stop them.” You beg. “You have me now. I won’t leave, I promise. I’ll marry you if it means no one gets hurt here today.” Your desperate for Corrin and his army to make their mistake. A battle where they can get away is a battle they might be able to win in the future and that means a future where you might escape Xander.

“_____, dear, had you so easily forgotten what happened when you defy me?” He sighs softly, shaking his head. “These lives I take-- the blood I shed, its all on your hands as well. Perhaps, had you stayed by my side… we wouldn’t be here today.” You hide your face in his back as you feel warm blood quickly rush over you. He’s charging straight for Corrin and the other Hoshidian royals, you know. It’s all you can do to remove yourself from the situation and try not to internalize his words. Still, you can help but wonder… would things be like this had you stayed with him, so long ago? Would there really be no blood on your hands?

Hey can I get some yandere silas x reader the morning after. Where she is just nussling into him and tells him how happy he makes her.

Here you go, anon! I went with a Corrin!Reader (but it’s probably minor enough to ignore if that’s not what you wanted).

You wake up naturally, not too early but not too late, in a bed that’s not your own. Sunlight streams through the window, illuminating the cozy room. You’ve never woken up here before- had never even been inside this room before last night- but you knew where you were right away.

Silas is the first thing you see when you wake up. The knight is already awake, sitting up in the bed beside you and looking down at you with the fondest smile on his face, one hand stroking your hair. He freezes as you open your eyes taking his hand away and blushing. You mumble an incoherent protest, but he seems to understand, and goes back to petting your hair softly.

“Good morning,” he murmurs. “I didn’t wake you, did I?”

You shake your head, before sleepily reaching over and tugging at the hem of his shirt. “Lay back down,” you croak, sleep thick in your voice. “It’s still too early.”

He slips back under the covers obligingly, curling his arms around you and pulling you against his chest. He’s warm, and you find yourself nuzzling into him half unconsciously. It feels good, just being next to him.

Your relationship has been building up to this for a while, you think, ever since you reunited- maybe even before that. Something about the way he’d looked at you when he saw you again for the first time, about the way he was always around ever since then, about the long nights you spent awake together in your room, just sitting up and talking about anything and everything. This was just a natural progression.

Last night had been a little different from the start, though. He’d asked you to have dinner with him, which wasn’t out of the ordinary, but he’d seemed nervous the entire time, face red while he played with his silverware.

He’d invited you back to his room afterwards, and maybe you should have suspected something at that point, but you didn’t. You’d never been to his room before, and you wandered around at first, looking at everything. You’d been looking at something on his bookshelf, you remember, when you turned back to face him, and before you knew it his body was flush against yours, pressing you against the wall. A confused “Silas?” had escaped your lips before he’d tilted your chin up and pressed his lips against yours.

There was a moment of stillness, Silas tense against you, obviously nervous but not pulling away, before you started moving your lips against his. He broke away first, and you panted for air as he started peppering more kisses all over your face and neck, still keeping you pressed firmly against the wall with his own body. Another few moments passed like that, kisses peppered with intermittent declarations of love and adoration, before he’d wrapped an arm around your back pulled you towards the bed and- well, the rest is history.

And now, here you are- curled up in bed and nuzzled against him, feeling, for the first time in a while, truly safe and at peace.

“I love you,” you murmur suddenly, feeling him start against you before wrapping his arms around you that much tighter. You see the blush spreading across his neck, and think it’s funny that that is what makes him blush. “You make me so happy.”

“I love you too, Y/N,” he whispers. “I’ve loved you for so long… for a while, I never thought I’d actually get to have you, and now…”

He trails off, and you finish the sentence for him. “And now you have me.”

My Greatest Fear || Fire Emblem Heroes Yandere!Alfonse x Kiran (Reader)

A/N: For some reason, I’ve become obsessed with the concept of it, so now I’m writing this. Shout out to @randomnerdyfan for getting this concept in my head.

In the few moments, I have to myself, I wonder how it ended this way, what I did to trigger it, and how do I fix it? Did I create a monster or did I call out to a beast that was already inside?

I realized what was happening the moment he pulled me close the day he confessed to me. There was something about his touch that was off. I could sense a new, more obsessive, maybe even possessive side to him. At first, I wrote it off as paranoia and maybe I’ve read too many questionable works of fanfiction in the past, but then it just started to get weird.

It started with Alfonse just randomly showing up to my room unannounced. Though nothing really happened, he came every night and so we talked almost every night. Most our conversations involved me going to sleep at a more reasonable time or me talking about my world. When I started running out of material for the latter, those talks became mostly about the former.

He ended up winning as we always end up snuggling on my bed with him lulling me to sleep. Small actions like that didn’t ring any warning bells since they seemed normal. But, I was slowly developing a dependency on him being in my room before I went to bed and I wasn’t sure how exactly to feel about that as there also have been several times where I would find marks on my neck that weren’t there before I slept. Thankfully most of my shirts were high-collared ones, but I’m scared to think of what else he’s done to me in my sleep.

He soon started to become more ruthless in battle. He always was very strong, to begin with, but his attitude toward battle changed. It wasn’t just about the mission anymore. He insisted on staying near my side in battle, but I never let him. I’ve reminded him time and time again that I would be fine on my own and that the other Heroes had trained me in self-defense in case anything goes arry. He tested me at that point and was successful. I thought it was going to be over after that.

Then he started picking fights with heroes, which was pretty out of character for him. He got really worked up when I had small talk with anyone other than him. He hid that well around Sharena, Anna, and some of the Heroes, but with other Heroes, he always gives them a stink-eye and is more hostile with his words, especially with the male Heroes. Our relationship wasn’t exactly public among the Order so things got really awkward.

I once tested him by asking Niles to deliver a message to a friend of mine in another world. Needless to say, never will I do that again, that is, ask Niles for favors. But gods, Alfonse’s punishment was something else, as it involved pinning me to a wall in a position that I’ve only read about. He took advantage of my embarrassment and made me promise to never speak to another Hero again without his presence.

That incident did not only trigger my warning bells but the warning bells of every hero that I considered to be good friends as well. Most especially Lord and Lady Robin and Prince and Princess Corrin. Don’t tell either Robin I gave them those titles, by the way, it’s the only way I can distinguish between the two of them. Anyways, the five of us had strong bonds with each other as we all felt a strange kinship with each other and Alfonse left me alone with them for the most part. They became the older siblings I never had. But as much as I’d like to tell you more about our dynamic, I need to tell you how this dynamic almost saved me.

I never told anyone about the marks, even them. I didn’t even bother to bring it up to Alfonse as I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction, but I knew I was in for some deep trouble once either Robin or either Corrin saw them. Unfortunately, they were found by Lord Robin, the last person I wanted to find out. If he was my actual big brother, he would’ve been the protective, stern big brother and if his daughter had ever brought a boy home, he’d been the one polishing a weapon in front of them.

“Where did you get these marks?” He asked.

“I was fooling around and hit myself with the Breidablik,” I replied. It wasn’t total lie. It has happened before, but I can tell he didn’t buy it.

“Ok Kiran,” Robin replied, “You’re not that clumsy.”

“I tripped up the stairs,” I said in my defense, which he’s seen, “I think I know what I’m talking about when I say I hit myself.”

“But how do you angle that?” Robin asked.

“I don’t know,” I replied, “It just happened.”

“Ok...” He said, “What’s been going on between you and Alfonse?”

“Huh,” I said, “W-what do you mean by that? Everything’s fine.”

“Really,” Robin said sounding skeptical, “Because Tharja and Niles told me something interesting the other day. Tharja and a few others have been having strange dreams as of the late about you and Alfonse and Niles just happened to mentioned that he got mad at you once and pinned you to the wall.”

“Fuck, he saw that!” I thought. I was tempted to yell that out loud, but I bit my tongue, still doesn’t change the fact that I basically confirmed that it happened with my expression.

“Look I don’t care if you two are actually an item, but if he’s harming you in any way, that’s what I want you to tell me,” He said sternly, “I don’t care if he’s a prince. No one has a right to force anything on you.”

A thought occurred to me to say, “Whatever dad” and leave, but I stood there looking stunned. I never expected to hear such a ‘modern’ idea while I was in this world, but it made sense for it to come from Robin. He valued bonds above all else.

I struggled to find any words to say and I begun to hyperventilate out of sheer panic and fear. The room began to spin before I passed out on the floor. While I was in that state, I had a dream and I had a feeling that it was the same dream that everyone’s been seeing.

I saw myself in Alfonse’s embrace, but the atmosphere remained oppressive. The room seemed to echo nonsense until I begun to listen closely. It was Alfonse’s voice.

“I love you.” “Don’t leave me.” “I can’t bear to lose you.” “Stay with me.”

My dream self begins to panic as Alfonse’s grip tightens.

“You’re the only one who understands.” “I need to keep you safe.” “I can’t let you leave.”

Then Alfonse begins to glow and his voice grew louder and louder to the point where I couldn’t comprehend them and soon it was silent.

I was now in a cage with Alfonse and still stuck in his embrace. My face was empty as he stroked my hair. My eyes were dull as he whispered sweet nothings. Time stopped as my dream self turned to me and uttered one single word.

“Help.”

Then I found myself asking a question that I haven’t dared to ask.

“How did my greatest love turn into my greatest fear?”

Asfjkdl I got you anon. I went ahead and went with a drabble, I hope that’s what you wanted- and I hope you like it!

It’s been a few weeks now since you joined Corrin’s little army, and you’re starting to get the feeling that you just don’t fit in.

Maybe it’s lack of effort on your part, or maybe you just don’t mesh well with the others, or maybe you joined too late and everyone was already so close you’d always feel like an outsider, but it was starting to seem like you couldn’t get any friendships to stick no matter what you tried. You’d tried approaching Rinkah, only to be told- very bluntly- that she wasn’t interested in any kind of friendship. You’d tried Laslow, and he’d seemed friendly enough, but he wouldn’t stop flirting with you- and anyone else that happened to be in the room at the time. Saizo was a complete non-starter, and you didn’t even want to think about it.

You were running through this list in your head that day at lunch when you took a seat at an empty table tucked in one of the mess hall’s corners- you didn’t really feel like interacting with anyone in the midst of your self-pity. Besides, the corner was… nice. Cozy.

Definitely better than one of the crowded tables full of people laughing and having fun with their comrades and god you should just go over there and introduce yourself, what’s-

“Is this seat taken?”

You jolt, interrupted from your thoughts by the sound of an unfamiliar voice. To your shock, standing opposite you is none other than one of the princes of Nohr- Leo, the younger one. He’s balancing a tray with what looks like some kind of soup in one hand, the other hand resting on the chair in question.

“I- uh- no, no it’s not,” you finally splutter out. He nods.

“May I sit, then?”

You nod, dumbly. This isn’t the first time you’d noticed Leo- far from it, actually. Truthfully, you’d admired him from afar for some time now. I mean, he was- well, him. Handsome, smart, brave, clever. Handsome.

You weren’t his only admirer, you knew. You’d overheard some of the girls in your barracks debating the merits of sending him flowers with anonymous love notes- though, you were pretty sure they hadn’t gone through with it, because just the idea seemed to scare them.

Even aside from them, you’d seen plenty of people around camp casting him admiring looks when he passed by, and you knew some of them made up excuses to go up and talk to him. Not that he ever seemed to have time for them- more often than not, he just brushed them off and walked away, leaving them crestfallen in his wake.

“This is a rather odd choice of seating, if you don’t mind me saying,” the man himself says. “Tell me, why don’t you join the others? I can’t say I’ve ever seen you spending much time with any of your fellow soldiers.”

“Ah- well, that is, I-” you pick at the food on your plate. “I just, uh, don’t really feel like I fit in. I don’t want to intrude, or anything,” you sigh, and your next words are coming out of your mouth before you have time to stop them. “You’re so lucky, Leo. Everyone loves you- you probably have to beat girls off with a stick because you’re so handsome.”

Your face flushes red as you register what you said. Leo flushes too, and you think it’s the first time you’ve ever seen the man anything but perfectly composed.

“Well,” he coughs. “I haven’t exactly- noticed anything like that. Though I’ve been told I’m not the best at such matters.” He straightens up, taking a bite of his soup and regaining his composure. “It hardly matters, anyway. There’s only one girl I have eyes for, though I can’t say she’s given any indication she reciprocates my feelings.”

“Oh,” you say, disappointment washing over you for some strange reason. It’s stupid- you knew you never had a chance with him, now it’s just absolutely confirmed- he already has someone. “Well, I hope it works out for you.”

“This is the first time I’ve found myself at a loss for how to get something I want,” he goes on. “But, if nothing else, she apparently thinks I’m… handsome.”

You flush again, ducking your head down, before putting it together in your head. “Wait, are you talking about....”

“Y/N, I found myself enamored with you since the first time I saw you,” you’re so caught off guard you don’t even realize that you never told him your name. “I can’t seem to get you out of my mind, no matter how hard I try.” He reaches out and takes one of your hands in his, and you’re still too stunned to do anything but let him. Not that you’d fight it even if you weren’t. “Forgive me if this is going too fast but- I want you to be mine. And I’d be yours, of course,” he adds, almost as an afterthought.

“I- Leo-” this has to be a dream. But it’s such a good one, you can’t bring yourself to want to wake up. “That sounds amazing.”

He smiles, all confident and composed once more, any trace of nerves completely gone from his posture. It’s only then that you start to notice how his grip on your hand is just a little too tight, the look in his eye just a little too- possessive.

“I’m glad. I promise, Y/N, you won’t regret this- I’ll make you so happy.”
