It was a faint moment but one that he would think back on constantly for many reasons. The closeness, her touch, her voice...
His typical... Problems with clothes embarrassing as they were found their way to his head.
It wasn't anything too noticable, he just got something small caught up in his hair, he had no clue about it.
That is until he felt Corrin's hand on his head "What are you doing?" He asked, masking his embarrassment by her gesture.
"There was a loose string in your hair" she showed him the evidence and he thanked her for her help.
"By the way, I had no idea your hair was so soft" she commented justifying why her hand lingered for a moment longer, but he couldn't think of a response in the moment.
Ryoma
He wanted to make sure Corrin feels welcome and comfortable in the new situation.
So, any way he could he tried to comply to her requests. Even if she wasn't asking for much he was happy to provide anything.
One time she asked him to take off his headpiece just because so far she had only seen him wearing it. The difference wasn't anyhow big but it satisfied her curiosity all the same.
Without even thinking about it, she ran her hand through his hair. It just seemed like the right thing to do at that moment.
Ryoma didn't comment on it, but Corrin said "You look quite different, but still handsome" her tone was polite, yet her words surprised him a little and he ended up thinking about it later.
"still" handsome? So normally she also considered him handsome? Was she really just being polite..? But he quickly recognized that he should perish the thought of going deeper into this...
Jakob
He had the busiest day possible. And he was quite the mess despite not trying to show it. But of course for his lady he acted like nothing was wrong in the slightest!
She however, noticed how the ribbon in his hair got loose. So she decided to fix it for him.
He was surprised when he suddenly felt her touching his hair. But before he got to ask, she explained everything to him "I fixed your ribbon" her smile was truly to die for...
"My deepest apologies for the trouble, my lady. Next time... Could I ask that you tell me about it instead? There is no need to trouble you with something so trivial..."
Later on he'd find himself thinking about it. Was it just him or did she actually keep her hand there for longer..?

Yeah no, fuck it. I'm abandoning the run.
I'm not gonna play this stupid fucking shit. MAYBE I'll watch Joe Zieja play it but I rather watch a shitty hospital drama or literally do anything enjoyable.
So ig on my list I have: playing 3Hopes for Sylvain content and then playing engage and getting into that instead! Because I actually wanna have fun instead of using every insult and way to say "Kill yourself" playing league of legends taught me to describe Edelgard.
I'm gonna be honest
the more I play Black eagles, the less I like Edelgard and more I like literally everyone else from that house

Adorkable moment. Also I had it almost finished for so long but my brain couldn't think of a good ending so SORRY for that.

There was a lot of things going on lately. And of course, what better way to de-stress than spending some time with your friend? Especially if said friend is a master at escapism.
You and Sylvain were in your room, just talking about first topics that came to mind to distract yourselves from the reality.
And honestly... He was so glad that he was your first thought when it came to "who you can spend time with to forget your worries" as much as your relationship was strictly platonic... He always had a bit of a softer spot for you and he knows it.
As always he was acting friendly with only occasional one-liners that were a force of habit at this point but the reality is that he really means it while you think it's a joke.
And he wouldn't have it any other way... In the end you really lost the track of time so... It was awfully late by that point.
Of course, Sylvain is also a master in sneaking out of the girls' rooms so it shouldn't be a problem. But there was the issue of you not wanting him to get caught because of you.
It's not like it's weird for friends to have a little sleepover. And neither of you took it as anything more than that. But his comments of you not having enough of him really made you want to knock him out with a pillow.
Still, you made things work. You trusted Sylvain, and he certainly never took advantage of that.
So while on the surface being in the same bed as a man who flirts with any woman in his field of vision seems like a big deal, you were above it to get too nervous about it.
There was no reason to look for a problem where there wasn't one... But in the morning was when things got embarrassing.
When your other friend busted your doors to try and cheer you up (without knowing that Sylvain already took care of your stress) they were shocked to see you with him.
They were so going to ask questions later... But before you could attempt to explain yourself it was too late... The assumptions were already rolling and your friend: nowhere in sight.
Sylvain was amused by the whole deal- while you could only say "Is it possible to die from embarrassment?" To which he could only laugh "Come on, it's not that big of a deal what they think. We'll explain everything and be laughing about it in no time it it's so important to you."
Of course, Sylvain did everything but take it seriously and jokingly fed more into your friend's assumptions... But in the end you got a chance to explain everything without making anyone question your platonic relationship to Sylvain.
But even for a moment, having someone assume that you're together gave him odd sense of satisfaction. Maybe that's because he wishes it was the reality. But he doesn't want anything to ruin what you have, moments like these where he gets a pass to tease you are making up for the fact that you're not together.

Ever since Corrin left the fortress was time for the universe to constantly nudge the two into being as close as possible.
Their hands brushing against each other... The warm embraces they exchanged... How he looked at her... And yet he's still to kiss her on the lips!
It was frustrating really. She thought that after saying how he feels he's going to be more forward but he was taking everything in a very slow pace.
He already had an existential crisis when he couldn't handle it anymore and told Corrin about his feelings.
He wanted to kiss her. But there was something holding him back from it. It was like a switch he couldn't turn himself.
So, it was up to Corrin to reach for that switch! She had to confront him about it. At first she wanted to be patient but she got to a point where she needed his kisses as much as she needed her next breath.
Being alone with her certainly made him feel the same way, but he still held back. Until he heard her ask in a rather frustrated way- which he didn't expect.
Seeing her so pouty about not being kissed was just adorable. And before she got a chance to complain any more he kissed her right away.
He could never refuse her, and with such a pleasant request he'd be a fool to reject it.
The kiss was like he was making up for all the lost opportunities. But it wasn't enough to keep them satisfied.
It's his job to make sure she has everything she wants after all, and his lips and body are more than willing to submit to her desires.

Idk why but I felt like I've written something like that before. Hh that's how I know that this blog is old.

Reader here is male
No matter how subtle you are about your anxiety Sylvain is very observant so it's impossible for him to not notice.
Especially since he does pay more attention to you for obvious reasons. And if there is something Sylvain is good at, it's social stuff.
So he knows just how to help you warm up or even bait you to join in the conversation.
Sure, sometimes his help isn't something you either wanted or needed... but that's just him trying to show that he cares.
At the same time he also knows when the conversation is pretty much doomed and he'd help you find a way out of it when you're obviously too uncomfortable to handle it on your own.
After which he'd have a small talk with you. He could help you relax, comfort you or just forget whatever happened within the conversation. Whatever you want, you'll get.
A brave knight can't stay idle when his lovely prince needs saving after all. Jokes aside, he really just wants to support you and help you overcome your social anxiety. But make sure to take it one step at a time. You have all the time and his support.

Most people need coffee in order to function, he needs but a kiss from you and he's ready to take on anything!... but coffee is nice too from time to time.
A spell from his beloved unfortunately also has it's side effect of him missing you even more and hating to leave you at home.
But having someone who cares as much as you do... it's just amazing to say the least. Each time he comes home he's welcomed by the love of his life. If that's not winning at life he prefers staying defeated.
He just feels so spoiled by you and your cooking. There isn't a day when he doesn't compliment you on your skills. Even when you mess up a little, he's still going to show his gratitude.
And of course, even though you do a lot of chores he also helps you out whenever he's able to. The chosen one can't allow himself to be idle when he can offer his beloved his support!
Besides, it's often fun to do it together. Battle against dirt shall never end with anything other than your success.
You also get everything done faster and thanks to that you'll get to relax together sooner. It's wins all over the place.

Odin
He's extremely dramatic about it. Your love may as well be a curse because he's aching each time you're not close to him.
He usually says something under his breath. Almost like he's practicing his lines before he asks you in his Odin way to be affectionate- which he is doing actually.
His tone, face and gestures are so dorky you can't believe how lucky you are to be on the receiving end of his lines.
You are his chosen one. And your mission is to love him and let him love you. Whenever you hug him, whenever you kiss him- he feels like he's in paradise.
Claude
Sometimes he's straightforward, sometimes he tricks you into giving him affection- it really depends on his mood.
His tricks are corny, and a lot of times you saw it coming before he could finish his hyper specific questions and requests. But it's not like you can complain about getting hugs and kisses from him.
When he manages to get you off guard though he's so proud of himself. He can't help but smile at your reactions.
And when he's straightforward about it he asks in the sweetest way imaginable. After all, he can't help but want to kiss such an adorable lady before him!
Sylvain
He's always been casual with affection. It's natural to him to be immediately close to a girl that caught his eye.
You- of course- are different from his past girlfriends but in this regard only one thing is a bit different. As odd as it sounds, he's much more respectful to your boundaries than any other girl. So he holds himself back a little even if most of it is reflex at this point.
When he needs your affection he'd hug you from behind and whisper to you to pay attention to him in a way so silly, it's adorable.
He's not the jealous type, but he definitely is very needy. He has to feel you close, you could say that he needs it like his next breath but that would be taking it a little far... Although he did say that once or twice.

So you took it upon yourself to help him take care of himself. Approaching him was a little difficult, because you didn't want to distract him from his work...
Then again your reason for approaching him is because you want him to stop working for a moment.
He trusts you, you're one of the people he goes to when he needs something and he's not as afraid to ask.
Still... It does take him some extra time to realize it. So you decided to make it your habit to force him to some breaks.
Cyril saw through your so called "subtlety" and called you out when you tried to make an excuse for dragging him out on a break.
"Y/N, I really appreciate that ya worry about me. But I'm fine, really. I know when I need a break and I'm not gonna rest when I know I don't need it yet" he said it with a smile and you felt like a proud sibling. He was beyond responsible! Half of the adults here could learn a thing or two from him.
But still... You wanted to convince him that it's okay if he wanted to act more like other people his age. Once again he said that it's just not his style, he does what he does because he wants to do it.
In the end, you couldn't really change his habits so your worry for him stayed... Which was okay for you to feel that way. But he wanted you to trust his judgement, so try to have some faith in him.
