i think with the events of the recent episode, it’s important to recognise that was dr.Lubelle is doing is not explaining things.
that’s not why sarah sultan died, because when joseph and kareem went to her to try and figure out a way back to the ‘’real’’ world, she shrugged their experiences off as delusions. she didn’t actually explain WHY there are doubles for everyone (probably reality-converging timeline shenanigans), she made them think they had gotten an answer, when we know for a FACT that joseph fink is not from night vale, we heard him get trapped.
And then she went off to try and find dana to dig up the grave of her (not?)double, so she could make up some half-baked explanation about it and gaslight literally everyone, including us the listeners, about the events that we literally heard go down.
She isn’t explaining shit because she doesn’t understand wHY night vale is like this, she just wants everything to fit her version of reality. so basically I’m saying dr lubelle killed sarah sultan in some other fucked up way

Idea for a story
Hoho! So many! I've been thinkin bout the one that starts out as a three-chap fic ab Lauren going on trial in Night Vale bc she simply Existed near them and instantly got arrested, where it's then revealed that kevin's immortal and literally just. can't fucking die and is gonna outlive everyone he knows and loves and then! i write a 2nd fic ab carlos, charles, cecil n kevin all fixing that (lauren helps too bc they dont actually have a jail in desert bluffs too so they just. kinda let her go free lmao)
Unpopular opinion
Not entirely unpopular, but I do think his reaction to Donovan was justified. Seeing as he was transformed into a killing machine and probably thinking no one would ever really like him again and then Charles comes into the picture and DOES like him... but also doesn't tell him he has a 5 yr old for two weeks. Kind of a shocker, especially for someone who probably doesn't expect anyone to trust him around their kids. I think he does genuinely like Donovan and not just like him bc of his vision.
Favorite relationship
Prolly him n Charles, they're just... very sweet together n it makes me emotional when i think ab it.
Favorite headcanon
That he doesn't realize how fucked up strex really was- including with what they did to him. Everyone who he tells ab it seems to be horrified for him for some reason and he's really not sure why.
