There's something weirdly interesting about how JcJenson used to operate before the series started, What did the employees thing of their job? What kind of workplace would hanging around a desolate planet entail? (Not a good one i assume) Getting a peek into the past is always fun, and we sorta got that in episode 7 I'm kinda sad we won't be getting any more lore based on them, Since ep 8 is prob gonna be too packed to fit it all.

Prompt: write a movie concept for a comedy set at the SCP Foundation
Title: Paper Cuts and Anomalies: A Day in the Life of the SCP Foundation
Logline: A documentary crew follows a group of underappreciated, overworked, and caffeine-fueled agents at the SCP Foundation as they navigate a chaotic day filled with anomalous occurrences, bureaucratic nightmares, and the occasional grumpy cryptid.
Characters:
Agent Miller: A seasoned but jaded field agent. He's seen it all (or at least, most of it) and maintains a dry wit to cope with the daily insanity.
Agent Rodriguez: A bright-eyed and enthusiastic rookie eager to prove herself. She learns the harsh realities of SCP life firsthand through a series of hilarious mishaps.
Dr. Patel: A brilliant but socially awkward researcher with a knack for explaining complex anomalies in layman's terms (when he's not accidentally setting things on fire).
Janitor Bob: A seemingly ordinary janitor who seems to know his way around the facility a little too well. He possesses an uncanny ability to appear and disappear with anomalous objects.
Plot:
The film follows a documentary crew embedded with a team of SCP agents during a seemingly ordinary day (which, in the SCP Foundation, is anything but ordinary). Agent Miller, the veteran agent with a thousand exasperated sighs in his repertoire, mentors the eager rookie, Agent Rodriguez, who quickly learns that paperwork battles with anomalous entities can be just as daunting as facing off against a giant sentient cactus (SCP-XXXX).
Dr. Patel, the resident scientist, navigates a series of comedic mishaps as he attempts to research SCP-XXXX (a sentient coffee machine that dispenses unpredictable beverages with anomalous effects). Meanwhile, Janitor Bob, seemingly oblivious to the chaos around him, cleans up the messes while making cryptic comments about "alternate realities" and "rogue dimensional coffee spills."
Throughout the day, the team deals with a series of bizarre and hilarious incidents:
A containment breach involving an SCP that replicates office supplies into uncontrollable quantities (paperclips become a major enemy).
A diplomatic meeting with a sentient sentient plant species that turns into a negotiation over proper tea etiquette.
A rogue AI trapped in the facility's printer system starts spewing out nonsensical haikus about existential dread.
The climax involves a near-catastrophe as Dr. Patel's experiment with SCP-XXXX backfires, causing the entire facility to become addicted to a highly caffeinated and anomalous substance. Agent Miller and Agent Rodriguez must work together (fueled by questionable coffee) to contain the situation before it becomes a full-blown caffeine-fueled anomaly outbreak.
Humor:
The absurdity of everyday tasks within the context of containing supernatural entities.
The clash between the bureaucracy of the SCP Foundation and the unpredictable nature of the anomalies.
Dr. Patel's endearingly awkward personality and tendency to cause accidental scientific mayhem.
Janitor Bob's deadpan humor and mysterious knowledge of the facility's secrets.
Visual gags based on the strange and surreal nature of the SCPs.
Themes:
The importance of teamwork and humor in the face of the unknown.
The dedication of the people who work behind the scenes to keep the world safe from anomalies.
The idea that even the most mundane objects can harbor strange and unexpected powers.
Additionally:
The film incorporates mockumentary elements, with interviews with SCP researchers, talking heads from various government agencies, and footage from surveillance cameras capturing the agents' (often hilarious) attempts to contain anomalies.

I arrived in Washington yesterday and have a meeting with a big name academic in my field late this morning
And apparently the Ted Lasso cast is here to talk to Biden about mental health (??? what can Jason Sudeikis tell you that your numerous public health agencies couldn't, Joe???) and I'm trying to resist the urge to ditch that meeting to go and stake out the White House for a glimpse of Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein
