9 adults and 5 children of The Hearth of Devon assembled for a blot to Woden on Dartmoor this weekend. The Neolithic stone row served as a procession path leading to a cist/dolmen which we used as a harrow (ON: hörgr). The ritual area was demarcated by hazel poles and a we-band (ON: vébönd). The hlaut bowl is positioned in the centre of the harrow with a flame to the South, the mead horns to the West, a silver oath ring to the East facing the supplicants at Delling's door, and a Woden stapol on the North side of the harrow.

Prayer to Odin
[[written by a member of the Godsring and shared with permission]]
Wōden, World-Shaper, Wandering God!
We come before You this night and ask humbly for Your ear,
That You might hear us in our place of prayer and receive our thanks.
For Your never-ending quest for knowledge,
Inspires us, and makes us yearn to know more than we know,
To do more than we can do,
And to be more than we have ever been before.
We come before You this night and ask humbly for Your company,
That You might walk with us in the coming days and keep us on our way.
For Your ceaseless journey through the worlds,
Inspires us, and makes us yearn to see more than we see,
To go where we have yet to go,
And to be more than we have ever thought we could be.
Hail the Hanged God, who searches the void where He hung,
For those lost souls searching for secrets of their own,
And pulls them out, gasping, returned to the land of the living,
To keep learning, and wandering, and serving You.
Hail Wōden!

Offering for Odin
Odin, the All-Father, wise and strong With his one eye, he sees what's long gone God of knowledge, magic, and war His ravens Huginn and Muninn soar
He wanders the nine realms with his spear Seeking knowledge to quench his thirst, to hear The secrets of the gods, of life and death And from his knowledge, he gains great wealth
The runes, he gifted to us all A tool for wisdom, a power to call The magic of the gods, the power of fate The knowledge of Odin, never too late
In battles, he leads the charge The Valkyries, his warriors at large Fearsome and mighty, with his sword in hand Odin, the All-Father, ruler of the land
Oh Odin, we honor you today Your wisdom, your magic, your fierce display We honor your sacrifice, your search for truth In you, we find the strength of our youth
Hail Odin, All-Father, wise and strong May we always remember you in our song In your knowledge and power, we find our way Odin, guide us, now and always.

I love comments like this cause then I get to geek out over the information I've researched for a handful of lines.
In the show, he is referred to as Woden. And woden is generally accepted as both a synonym and an older version of woden. since the song is really old, woden makes the most sense.
though depending on when the song was created, it could have been Woðinz.
given that Norse Viking culture rested in multiple groups of tribes and shifted through the centuries due to interactions with the Romans and other groups, the shifting of the spelling of his name is a fascinating thing that I enjoy learning about!!
At one point he was even described as being like Hermes, due to hiding his form and his clever trickeries!! ^_^

Wanderer of the Wilds,
Wrap me in your warm cloak,
Fill me heart with hope,
and shadow me from strife.
It is you who I hail,
who I drink my mead to,
and who guides me hand in magical might.
Wishmaker,
Wise One,
Allfather Above,
I shout your name is praise,
and raise my spear high.

Hagging Out December: Twelfth Night for the Wild Hunt
For several years now I have honoured the Wild Hunt - the fierce spirits who hunt evildoers across the worlds. In my practice I consider Wōden as leader of the Hunt, and with Him at their head they ride throughout the dark half of the year, with their activity reaching a head during the liminal time between the Winter Solstice and Twelfth Night.
During this time I try to observe nightly devotionals and contemplation, culminating in ritual on Twelfth Night itself.
This year I offered loose-leaf berry and rosebud tea, its redness recalling the blood of the Hunt's prey. Offerings to the Hunt are both propitiatory, to encourage them to leave me and mine unharmed, and in thanks for the work they do to punish and destroy evil.
As part of my ritual, I recited rounds of my Wōden prayer beads, nine times nine heiti of the Old Man. This led me into trance and deep communion with Him and with the spirits of the Hunt. It also seemed an auspicious time both for some rune-casting divination for the year ahead, and for a spot of old-fashioned blasting with the aid of my blackthorn athame.
This calls to an end both the time of the Hunt's greatest activity, and the most important phase of my two-month Gēol season.
[With thanks to @graveyarddirt for running Hagging Out monthly.]
