haiii as a frequent con-goer my observations are: ppl tend to get posters or pins/keychains more than stickers, since sticker boards r more rare than like ita bags or drcorating ur room.
bnha hasnt rly been present in cons recently, so dont feel like you Have To BUT. if you do genuinely want to sell that stuff, it wld probs fill a niche that the people who DO want to see it will be excited for since theres probs not alot of other booths with it
depending on how far away the con is, dunmeshi will probs be rly popular since its the biggest new thing. sometimes theres a gap of if smthn big comes out too close to a con no one has time to make merch yet, but if you think you have time and want to itll probs be rly popular.
all of this is as u said based on my personal experiences and ive only been to the cons in my state, and NOT as an artist so idk if boothers have other advice or inputs but! :) i hope it helps

silly question but: does wolf alík look any different from a regular wolf? when she's fully transformed, is there anything that sets her apart, or does she just look like an average, straight up wolf?

look at her hands and feet. human joints should not be like that, and wolf paws do not look like that. her claws.. god just look at them. blazys art explains alíks messed up wolf situation far better than i ever could. her ears, too, are just... god, look at them!! i have to move on from this art or ill just keep saying "look at it!!" but, well. Look at it.
some of my own alík wolf art:) the first one is when shes fully transformed, but also the first ever art i did of her like that, so take it with a grain of salt, but still take it. the second is her like... in her metamorphisis era - my internet connection is kinda MEAN and EVIL right now so i can't add them rn .. ill either rb with them later or edit them into the post. for now i just put links to the images :( sorry! plus the mentioned image from before. now Onto serious business
something that alík always has, no matter form, is her human eyes - but they're not really human! their colouration is one of a wolf's, and her eyesight is also almost as good as that of one. this is messed up when she's in full wolf mode, because its really.. just, weird. can you imagine looking at a dog with human eyes? a cat? a cow? no!! because its weird!!!! shes a FREAK!! (affectionate)
another weirdo thing about her face is her teeth. hes got canine teeth, no doubt about it, but i do think she has a bit more teeth than she should have.. maybe three more... ? two more? i think the amount of teeth is not equivalent with neither the amount humans should have nor the amount wolves should have.. like 38 or smth. this doesn't change in her transformation, but her jaw and gums do! it hurts! Ouchies! it also shifts her teeth around.. tbh i wouldnt be surprised if she lost a tooth or two transforming sometime.
as you may have noticed, alík has most of her fur on her head! this is because of hair! she has a big ol' tuft of fur on her head when she's in wolf mode and it makes her look silly. depending on how far along in transition they are, their fur is like... its in blotches over their body. a tuft here, a tuft there, no fur at all someplace else... her spine gets covered in fur first. bc its like !! hair to tail:)
her limbs are weird, too. her arms are more humanoid than her legs - my friend mikey @/monstertsunami shows this wonderfully in his art of alík and their gf idk who she is i heard shes some kind of loser? ermmm what the freak🔥
oh wow it let me add an image that time Awesome!!! anyway, you can see how her feet are pretty pawsome, huh?? shes got pawpads - is that what its called for wolves? i cant find info :( - and her joints are more.. like, look at how she's standing! her ankles! everybody say thank you mikey... !!! this stays in her wolf form, in a way
in the 'mentioned image' from before, you can see - ifyou can read my handwriting lol - that there's text around her feet/paws (peets...) that says 'human hands - fucked up paws'. in the linked image 'first one' , you can see her fucked up wolf hands more clearly! thats something that ive kept. i think she could grab you, even as a wolf. she keeps her thumbs. even if they dont work as well. this makes running as a wolf difficult for her, because her fingers are very much in the way !! herr back feet are more wolf-like in her wolf mode, even twisting her hips to work better !! opposite goes for her hands, though - her arms, like.. theyre not good for wolves ! her elbow is forced into a shitty position, her shoulders are.. bad...
and, as mentioned, her nose is fucked up. the smell of blood is an intimate friend of hers 💥it like.. god, her face goes through So Much. her skull gets absolutely , like ... goddd shes definetely broken bones transforming before... her nose is like, stretched out ? idk how to explain it .. its like if you used the 'free transform' tool on it
in short, id say theres a few main things that set alík apart from a regular wolf:
human eyes
human hands (sometimes covered in fur)
teeth
body isn't always fully covered in fur (its not easy for his body to bust out ten thousand fur strands all over his body, ya know? needs resources for that to happen)
movement (can't run as well, vocal cords arent probs in the best state after her neck fucking... look at it)
smell. she smells weird. oyou dont care about that but wolves would i think
then there's like, little basic anatomy stuff, like she will Never have the proper body of a wolf . maybe if she was like, for a year as a wolf, or two, or maybe even fine her body would be like Ok were wolf now . and her bones would settle ... but this is a question of years and time she does not have. her lifespan is also all kinds of fucked up. if she wasnt being experimented on evey day of her life ever, she'd probs live until her 40s? maybe late 40s if she had a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE filled with JOY and WHIMSY!!!! but i think now she'll die like, in her pafl au, i dont think she'll make it to 35.. sad! ouppy gone

sharing some of my xyx headcanons
so that my mind will be at Peace, i'd like to share some of my own xyx headcanon crumbsszxs, related to him being Filipino and other random stuff (from a Filipino [me] who can't stop having xyx brainrots. v detailed, sort of political, and self-indulgent themes ahead):
his parents are full-blooded filipinos, who decided to migrate to australia (to have a better life~~) (taking it from my experience of having relatives telling u to get a job/move abroad bc living in the ph suckz)
his dad passed away when he was in his early teen years. his mom married a local aussie man years later.
yes, he loved his dad so much. his dad was That Present, Supportive Father yeh
he grew up seeing his parents being so loving, caring, etc to each other. like that was his basis of love; he wanted to experience what his parents had. he hoped for it so much that i guess after how many heartbreaks (uhuh lovesick teenager xyx), he got tired and gave it up lol (until fLASH FORWARD to meeting us, and there: the love that was really something. not just the idea of something *bow)
his sister (yes, he has one) is a nurse and he is a lawyer. not bc they were coerced by their parents, but they just really decide it for themselves (imagine the number of times they had to say "no, really. i just want to be one") (v random hc, yes)
he used to visit the ph when he was young. those trips stopped since most of his family members already moved to australia too, and other places abroad.
even though he speaks english with a strong australian accent, it's like it's turned off when he speaks tagalog.
(i reckon that he can speak better tagalog than me 🕴 Jose Rizal be laughing in his grave rn)
he grew out of his catholic roots when he lived by himself, but still tries complete all 9 Simbang Gabi/Misa de Gallo masses. to have some connection with his devote catholic mom, and to honor the times he spent attending these masses with his late dad. (i like Simbang Gabis because of the native delicacies being sold outside the church every after mass)
after the first time you attended Simbang Gabi with xyx, he made a mental note to add Ben&Ben's Bibingka to his playlist about u (v self-indulgent but iykyk) (well if he has one) (i think he does tho)
he is Anti-Marcos and you cannot convince me otherwise. (he could've been that guy who called out marcos jr. personally when he was in aus for a family vacation) (can't find the video of it SKSKSKS)
he was supposed to study in the ph for college because attending university in australia is Expensive ™. luckily, he was able to enter one with a scholarship.
if he didn't though, he probs studied in UP or Ateneo (xyx wearing the UP sablay... as an iska, *tucks hair behind ear*)
(to my fellow filo/filo-speaking bp players) he didn't tell you he was filipino and can speak tagalog when you first got together. he decided to keep it to himself for a while bc he wanted to see your reaction 😎 the moment you knew was when he responded to an endearment you said in tagalog.
"so all along, you understood what i was saying?" "yes." "🕴️" "also your tagalog sucks." "oh f*ck off (affectionately)"
there is a news article about him written by a local ph news source. headline was "Australia-Raised Filipino Lawyer helped win big case vs. big company" something something. (you can smell the Pinoy Pride 🇵🇭 XD comments from here)
xyx listens to OPM !!! it's his 3rd most played genre on Spotify.
he grew up listening to it because of his dad (it is a way for dad to cope with his homesickness) (one more and i'll make a separate hc post about his dad)

Rant about my own confusion with the species of my oc, frizzie the clown! (Secretly also just me talking about animals because i love animals and getting to know them)
Before i talk a bit more about changing her species, i'll do a quick introduction: frizzie is my first animatronic oc, being a teenage animatronic struggling to socialize with the other animatronics, some tragic stuff happens and sun and moon end up adopting her 👍(too long of a story to tell everything hdhs)
When i designed her, i made her to be a ring-tail lemur, with the long fuzzy striped tail and and the white face being the main features, i also needed her to be athletic and fast, faster than the other animatronics (excluding the much smaller ones), but she is much weaker, light and fragile. I have to be honest, i dont like lemurs as much, but they were the closest to what i wanted for her, and i didn't want to make a simple animal for her like a cat or a dog, it had to be different from the other glamrocks and i didn't want to be celestial themed (even if sun and moon adopted her later on, i still wanted to give the idea that she was different from them, they are similar by bits of personality and that they're both jester themed, but i wanted to Frizzie to be her own person, her own interests and differences from the daycare. And her species plays a big part of that idea
Recently, i got to know the two animals, ringtails and genets, on holy SHIT its perfectly what i wanted. But i am at war with which one to choose, a bit silly because both of them are incredibly similar, and I'll prob choose the one i like the most

I did some small research so i am, so, so sorry if i got anything wrong, BUT, genets and ringtails seem to have a lot of similar features and habits but they have different lineages. But both of these animals gives me the right vibes for my character.
Physically, i noticed that a ringtail's fur do not have many patterns, and frizzie do not have many patterns at all, but i could add some without cluttering the design much
i noticed that ringtails are a bit chubbier and well, a marketable cutie, perfect for my sona to be honest! But frizzie is not that, she is build to have a structure similar to springs. her torso, arms and legs are made of metal springs. She can elongate parts of her body to scare people, and to reach high places (Inspired by the jack in the box toy). With that said, differently from ringtails, genets have long, elongated body, and that fits a lot with frizzie. But, that is a small difference, so it shouldn't matter much?
Both of them have the ability to see well in the dark and are nocturnal, i like that. Frizzie has to stay in the dark for long periods of time and quite prefers to be that way.
idk, maybe i'll say she's inspired by both of them? hehe

I'm sooo excited, I can't even explain. I feel like enha comes back just when I start to really miss them. Although I was a bit anxious because I went on a mini vacation to another town just before they announced the comeback and I was fearing for my wallet around that time (I was hoping they'd announce it a bit later so I could scrounge up the money to preorder) but alas they announced it while I was broke so instead of feeling sorry for my pocket, I picked up a temporary job to do through my semester break - which I'm on rn - and preordered anyway. So far I don't have a preference for a concept, although I like the D version more than the J version but I'll take any concept at this point. I just want the photocard gods to give me ramyeonz again (but I would be happy with 1 jake pull also). I could trade my pulls to get what I want but tbh the fun of it for me is seeing what you get, so i usually just keep whatever I pull and hope for the best on the next album 😆
I've also seen the teasers but I've been avoiding hearing them in case they have spoilers. I like going into albums blind because I have so much suspense building up as we're leading up to the album release that when I finally watch that mv and hear that album, it blows me away even more. idk, it adds to the fun imo 😆😆😆
I hope it's not a permanent fatigue and that you heal quickly, or at least that ir gets easier to deal with 🧡🧡🧡
I'm okay!! Like I mentioned, I'm on semester break so I'm honestly just sleeping and doing as little as I can when my boss doesn't need me. I really want to go out this weekend tho.
I think for the first 2 weeks of my break I didn't even touch my computer, which is understandable because I study design so * most * of my time is spent in front of the computer with an adobe program open. today is really the only time I've had motivation and time to make gifs since my last sets (which was either enha performing polaroid love or jake's log, I can't remember lol, but it was a while ago.)
i must admit I did really develop jake brain rot today, I have even more gifs of him in my drafts that I'm probably going to post later hahaha but it's fun just making gifs of videos I want to make gifs of and not caring about notes or anything :')
also, I have to ask!! do you watch kdramas? if so, have you seen business proposal? I loved it sooo much and it's now my 2nd favourite kdrama - my first will always be crash landing on you - and it got me through a few of my projects towards the end of the semester. I was a bit late to it so all the hype was already over but I still think it was worth the watch 😆

@jseungz i don't mind the long ask at all, i love it in fact !! i'm so glad you were able to preorder and i am sending you luck for your pulls <3 and i totally get wanting to wait to see and hear everything without spoilers ! i personally am impatient so i tend to watch everything for my ult groups ajdgbjh but i respect y'all who are able to wait it out and get the full impact at release; it's true that spoilers can change the way you receive it at first, and in my case i usually like to listen to the full album in order before i even watch the mv with the title track but it doesn't always work out that way. i think even when i check out teasers or album previews i still find things that surprise me, but particularly for the enha comeback i prob won't actually check anything out until the actual drop either - we can be fully surprised together!
thank u, it should not be permanent but it may take quite a few months to get over - luckily, i'm on a semester break too, so i have plenty of time to rest! it makes sense that you'd want a bit of a break from screens, but whenever you feel inspired it's always nice to see your creations hehe. brain rot fuels some of our best work i think 😂
i don't watch any kdramas ! i tried to watch what was it ... 'let me be your knight' for my beloved donghyun but tbh i really don't watch a lot of tv in general like, barely any, and kdrama episodes tend to be quite long so i didn't end up sticking with it. i did watch the film 'love & leashes' with a friend though and thought it was really cute! i thought that was a drama when i was just seeing the previews around it, i didn't realize it was just a one-off. maybe i'll find one eventually that i can get into! i think i'm suited for shorter contents so web dramas are probably a better bet, i did watch 'to my star' as well and really enjoyed it but those episodes are super short haha

guys i stg i’ve been manifesting soooo much and so fast lately and it’s only been 2022 for two weeks!!! so here is the list of things i’ve manifested so far in 2022🤍
-i told my friends how i wanted to get sweetener by ariana grande on vinyl sooo bad but they barely ever repress it and i always miss it when they do and then i went on the vinyl releases subreddit a few hours later and someone posted a restock and i got to buy it!!
-i literally posted on here that i should manifest my drivers license and within a week i got a car + someone offered to take me to get my permit (yes at 21 years old ok) and also i finally took action and finished my online drivers ed course😌 (literally all i did was make that post and i didn’t think about it again)
-i was sooo hungry and i was complaining to my friends and i was like wouldn’t it be nice if they texted me “look outside” and there was food and a few hours later i got that exact text and there was an amazon package of snacks on my doorstep
-manifested getting my financial aid for school + getting a fat refund 🤑
-literally thought to myself that i prob wouldn’t get my refund until at least january 18th when the semester starts but then after listening to a self-concept tape overnight i woke up to my refund in my bank account😌
-passed a class last semester that i should’ve failed bc i didn’t even do half the work (🤪). i count this as this year bc ive putting off checking my grades until like two days ago lol. and i’ve been affirming that i passed all my classes :)
-i was convinced i accidentally threw away my birth certificate (lol) a few months ago when i moved but i just affirmed once that i found it and my dad told me he had it the next day even tho i’m like 100% positive i did not give it back to him lol
-also manifested myself remembering things multiple times this is something i love manifesting it’s so fun
-sometimes my cat scream meows in the middle of the night (ok he does it every night🙄) and i manifest him falling asleep on my desk chair and shutting up :)
+there’s more but i’m blanking cuz it’s 4am as i’m typing this hehe
but i’d like to add pretty much all of these things i’d either think about wanting it once and i’d get it or id affirm for a few times and literally still think negatively about it and still get it. sooo self concept guys. so important. it’s how i got everything on this list :)

okok first of all, im back 😋. as in ill be fully active again like usual xdxd.
i know i didn't seem like i was on a semi-hiatus but shhh i had to take care of things and i had to fix my mental stability too.

Having to deal with the stupid comments from ignorant idiots
Their grandparents coming to visit constantly, brining back Colombian treats
Having people NOT know where Colombia is and almost always assuming their Spanish or Mexican
Romans performances sent to the group chat, to the 7 aunts and uncles, 23 cousins and multiple other family members
Being the one family to move to the US causing them to be the center of attention
Constantly being asked about how school is going, all their achievements constantly praised
Having to switch between personas for when in Colombia versus in the US
Being incredibly close with their parents, their own special family

hi hello, in honor of reaching 1k (why do 1k people follow my shitposts idk) i’ve got a few cute posts planned. this one (along with the rest, actually) is dedicated to olivia @valiantlyclassyartisan because she’s just a top lass. and more blogs but liv is a constant encourager, what a darling.
n e way this was soOoOo hard to narrow down, you don’t even know. and also, i tried to be pretty fair and evenly distribute songs from each album. take that for what you will.

i remember so vividly when mitam came out. i was a senior in college and all my classmates in every class knew how far up 1d’s ass i was. i’d walk to class all bundled up listening to each song as they released them and this one was so, so special to me and it’s such an innocent, lovely ode to someone who just *gets* you. the whole mitam album is very special to me because it reminds me of a really good time in my life. i had finally started taking antidepressants and going to therapy. i lived and worked with all of my best friends. i was taking classes that i LOVED. i thrived in college, and having 1d as the soundtrack to those years means the world to me.

when i was a freshman in college i was a HUGE music snob. i got my first turntable and would only listen to indie rock and bands who were old enough to be my parents. this is when i discovered my love for fleetwood mac. rumours was the first album i ever bought on vinyl and i soaked it up, let it become a part of me. it’s one of those albums i will never ever get tired of listening to.
even so, i had a playlist that i would listen to on my way to school, and wmyb somehow ended up on there and it was my guilty pleasure song. i’d bop so hard to it. but never EVER mentioned 1d to anyone. it was my little secret, until a year later when i finally let myself be the true fangirl my heart was begging me to be.
