thinking about how chilchuck’s wife disappeared one day without him ever knowing why. he came home from work in the dungeon and the woman he loves was gone.

Of course, after learning that she was safe he did the most Chilchuck thing ever, avoiding seeing her for the next 4 years because it’s easier to avoid the woman he loves all together than to learn what he did that hurt and drove her away.

Obviously, having her husband never come find her only cemented her doubts about Chil: he doesn’t love her anymore, because if he loved her he would find her and try to make things work.

Little did she know Chil would spend the next 4 years faithful.

Something about the fact that both Dean and Cas think they’ve fucked up too many times to be redeemed, that they aren’t worth saving, and yet they forgive each other.

Something about the fact that both of them, faced with an outside force compelling them to kill the other, pushed past that to save each other’s lives.

Something about Cas dying to save Dean time after time because he can’t stand the thought of seeing Dean dead, not knowing what it does to Dean to see Cas dead, and to feel like the blood is on his hands; about Cas trying to restructure the universe for Dean and Dean just wanting him to stay.

Something about Dean teaching Cas to be more human and then, when he is human, failing to help him and having to live with the regret of that.

Just…something about Cas and Dean and the way that they’re simultaneously doomed and inevitable, always circling around something but never able to land

When I'm watching a show/movie or reading a book, I have this thing called the Sam and Dean Test where I try to figure out whether, if one character died, the other would sell their soul to hell to get the other one back. Passing the Sam and Dean Test means that the characters would sell their souls to hell to get the other back.

Anyways, I'm 100% sure that Starsky and Hutch pass the Sam and Dean Test.

Round and round the Winchesters go, and since they’re the center of the story, round and round everyone they know goes with them, until the boundaries between good & evil and life & death are blurred beyond identification

Round and round they go—and it’s not just in a circle, it’s in a downward spiral, and if they break the spiral, they’ll be in a free-fall and it might kill them, and this time there will be no coming back (and so, really, there’s no breaking the cycle, because they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t: always the same destination)

btw funniest option for reverseverse archangel siblings is that lucifer & michael are the twowith the dead mom killed by a demon, and gabriel and raphael are accidents that happened along the way that chuck kidnapped
