The supsense builds wonderfully in this entry. Galpin's line delivery is so so good I honestly started to tear up. The Count sounds so reasonable with just a slight hint of threatening. Poor Jonathan's bit of peace being cruelly interrupted when he sees the Count crawling down the castle walls like a lizard... and then the next entry confirms he's in grave danger not just from Dracula. Never a dull moment in this castle for long, there's more gothic horror to be had!

imagine: you get your memories back after years of amnesia to find out your whole species is dead and earth doesn’t exist anymore. that the only thing left of your culture is your weird ex and his busted honda civic that barely even works that he stole from the government when he was 13. And he’s been taking members of an alien species for trips in his honda civic and they’re all like “woah it’s so cool” and you get upset because it’s NOT COOL it’s a honda civic, the turn signals don’t even work “wow it can go up hills” yeah OF COURSE IT CAN GO UP HILLS EVERY CAR COULD DO THAT. but they’ve never seen a car before so everything it does is the coolest thing ever. And your ex’s only tool is a fucking screwdriver which is somehow also cool to this dumbass alien species even though it’s a fucking screwdriver so you just look like an idiot screaming about how none of this is even cool it’s actually really shitty but your whole planet is gone so you can’t even prove it but also you’ve had a constant drumming sounding in your head since you were 10 slowly driving you insane. #to delete probably #grief mention tw #like i get that industry is fucked sometimes but i also think people #need to have more compassion and understanding for the fact that grieving and healing is not linear #that some idols will want to return to work and activities within a time that seems odd to outsiders #sometimes they do need the distraction to push forward #not necessarily in an unhealthy sort of way but a reminder that individually #life must carry on and they are capable of doing so #at the same time grief may not hit them all at once #it might take a special date or a holiday to spark that #maybe it’s just some small reminder that triggers it #whatever it might be #i just think it’s a little.. catastrophic ing to assume #companies are forcing their artists to return to work or remain working when struggling with grief #like i just… i mean yeah there are some fucked up companies but i don’t think REDACTED and REDACTED were forced to return to work/didn’t #resume schedules on their own time #but it would be good to be at least aware that not everyone experiences these feelings the same?#when blowing up about overworking idols in relation to their schedules or lack of during certain times #anywaysssssss
