I can see Windblade and Moon gossiping to each other about Starscream and Unicron. They definitely talk about them like one does about feral slowly domesticating (poor wet) cats
Soundwave:*a telepath and menace*Starscream: Poor wet meow meow
Starscream: ??Excuse you??
Oh heck yeah. Moon and Windblade have a blast talking about their respective wet cats. Windblade will lament Starscream and Moon will laugh. In turn, when Moon casually calls the Unmaker a rabid rabbit, Windblade has to try really hard to not have a crisis while laughing.
Soundwave be ratting on them both though by informing Starscream of their conversations, and consequently, giving Unicron a screeching Cybertronian to pick up the gist of it all from. Moon will never hear the end of it from Unicron and Windblade is going to have to turn off her audials for a while as Starscream tries and fails to not look like a fluffy cat that's been half drowned in a bath.

Just a cute lil headcanon idea since we are talking about Dad! Megatron, how about Uncle! Soundwave?
TFP Megatron would never allow his human child to have a pet, at least in the earthen animal verity. So to combat this, her and Soundwave go to animal shelter and fawn and gush over their favorite animal; cats.
The closest thing to a pet Megatron would allow in his child's vicinity would be some strange (and possibly unholy) science experiment whipped up by Shockwave's years of forced isolation and Starscream's nightmares.
The kid took one look at its development in the growth chamber tubes and immediately barricaded herself under her bed. Poor thing just wanted something to cuddle with her when Megatron is too busy or can hide her backpack during school. Not see their "pet's" manifestation of their internal mechanisms and organs...
Soundwave is the one that managed to fully coax her out with a stroll to a cat cafe and owl cafe. The spymaster utilizes a holomatter to properly blend in (and interact) with the settings. Soundwave will never say it, but the kid can pick up the mech's wistfulness with the creatures.
Eventually, it graduates to them have "outings" where they spend a day volunteering inside a no-kill animal shelter.
Soundwave thinks it's appropriate for the kid to understand the full undertaking of an animal that's fully dependent on a carer. Plus, it's good stress relief for him. Not only he gets to be around animals and do some mindful physical exercise with the simple goal of caring for the creatures, but he gets to clown on assholes that shouldn't be in charge of the place. Depending on his mood, he does it in full public to destroy their entire reputation or does it on the sly to destroy their personal lives. The sweet Energon wine of it all, it's all their own actions! Soundwave didn't have to dig hard or generate false evidence. In fact, he does a few exercises with the kid to get her feet wet in his line of work.

german shepard, treat & pawprint
German Shepard: What is your F/O’s true character? Are they hardworking, kind, lazy, etc…? What’s an indicator, or something they do that shows this?
Ohh, buckle-up!
When people think of TFP Starscream, they think of a back-stabber, a murderer, a self-centered prick, and a wet cat.
And it’s true. He’s not a good person. He does terrible things in the show, some actions which absolutely cannot be excused or justified.
But despite all of his transgressions, he does have a moral compass of sorts. The most notable example of this is when he spares Arcee in Season Two after she spared him some time ago in Season One.
In neutral situations, he can even talk casually with the Autobots. Hell, even in the movie, Starscream works with Shockwave. Shockwave! A mech he absolutely despises! The one who threatens his security and position so much in Season Three.
According to the aligned books, Starscream had lots of power due to his talent and Flyer status. But in the show, he lost all of his power, even ranking below Dreadwing, someone that he previously outranked.
He seems to crave power in order to be content. He doesn’t care about humans, and he is willing to have Earth cyberformed. He does not consider other species, but he works hard for his own kind. He even led the Decepticons just fine for three years on Earth until Megatron arrived.
He genuinely cares for the fate of Cybertron. He wants a flourishing planet that values him in high regard.
Near the end of Season One, Starscream is willing to give the Autobots information about the Decepticons. God, he even becomes chatty with Arcee until he blurts out the fact that he killed Cliffjumper.
Plus! In the beginning of Season Two, Starscream is talkative with the MECH soldiers, bragging to a human that he was the one who killed Cliffjumper. In “Operation Bumblebee”, he only works with MECH soldiers because he requires energon to live as a rogue.
Speaking of rogue Starscream, it’s really sad that the reason why he comes back to Megatron at the end of Season Two is because he realizes that Megatron has the resources for him to live functionally. Nothing was working out for him as a rogue, not even the Autobots.
When Megatron kills Dreadwing, Starscream is indebted to him and even becomes sad when he dies in the Season Three finale.
And I can’t forget about Breakdown. During “Operation: Breakdown”, Starscream wants Megatron to save Breakdown from MECH, but Megatron denies it due to the fact that Breakdown was weak to allow himself to be captured by humans. But the thing is! Starscream knows that Breakdown is a key player in their cause. I believe that someone on Tumblr even made a post about how Breakdown’s demise eventually led to the Autobots’ victory. And in spite of Megatron’s order to not rescue Breakdown, Starscream assembles a team anyways to save him. Do you realize how brave that is? Sure, it can be seen as a “You owe me!” sorta thing, but as I’ve said in one of my older posts, the Autobots have other motives too.
Even when Starscream’s relationship with Knock Out isn’t exactly healthy, he still gravitates towards him. He wants to make friends, but he does a shit job at it, often mimicking the behavior Megatron inflicts onto him (…even though Starscream’s punishments were not nearly as devastating as Megatron’s punishments). But I don’t blame Knock Out for betraying Starscream in the end in exchange for a better life.
Starscream really is a tragic character.
Jayce doesn’t want to “fix” him, but she does want to help him heal. Just a bit. He deserves that, at least.
Treat: Show us your F/O in their source media! This could be an image, video, gif, or anything else! Maybe talk about it a little too! What’s your F/O’s role in their source?
Starscream is one of the main villains of Transformers Prime, and he plays the part well. Still, he has his complexities, enough to where many fans find him intriguing, fun, and even sympathetic!
Here’s one of my favorite screenshots of him. It’s when Knock Out actually compliments him. Look at his smile! It’s a genuine smile, completely different from his evil smile. Even if it was only for a moment, he enjoyed the praise.
Pawprint: What effect does your F/O have on you? How do they make you feel?
Admittedly, they’re a bit mixed. A while back, I’ve had a very bad experience self-shipping with him. I won’t go into excessive detail, but (redacted), another person who self ships with him, made me feel absolutely terrible about him due to her cruel acts against me and even my girlfriend. It was very traumatic, but I am healing. Besides, Starscream is still a fictional character, and I can feel about him anyway that I want. I may have some off days, but in my heart, I love him so, so much, and he makes me a very happy woman. This fact will never change. I feel so giddy, and my heart literally flutters whenever I think of him sometimes. He evokes such strong feelings in me, both good and bad, but mostly good! And the feelings are impossible to ignore. I’m just so glad that he exists as a character. He’s my favorite character ever, and I will always cherish him.
