#oooohhh hell this generation is gonna be reeeeaaally rough on me. the textures on these models are Completely different from the 3ds #versions. and i do not!!! know how to do it!!!!#grookey #ANYWAY. welcome to generation eight!!! this generation will always hold a special place in my heart because it's the one that #reintroduced me to pokémon as a whole #i've talked about this multiple times in small references in the tags so i'm sure you all already know this but #when i was younger‚ i had a Passing interest in pokémon. didn't really need to play every new game or know every pokémon #but when i turned 18‚ on the SAME day pokémon sword & shield released‚ i ended up getting it for my birthday #mostly because my parents hadn't figured out what to get me for my birthday and heard that the new pokémon game came out the same day #which‚ now that i look it up‚ apparently it actually came out 5 days before my birthday. and i was just Told it came out that day #who knew. anyway‚ i got swsh for my 18th birthday. and i played the shit out of it. hyperfixation material #and that's what got me back into pokémon Properly. back into it as an Autism Special Interest type beat #and now it's stuck with me ever since. so swsh is probably always gonna be one of my favorite games in the series‚ and gen 8 one of #my favorite generations just because of what it means to me personally #gen 8 was also the last pmd game we ever got so .

saw a comment abt how continuity-wise branch being part of kismet pre-trolls 1 doesn't technically work bc he fully refused/didn't sing until "true colors" and somebody said that instead of being one of the singers/showmen, branch wrote all of kismet's music + lyrics, and came up with everything, while the other four were the performers, hence why poppy freaks out when she sees all of kismet (bc she definitely would have recognized branch as part of kismet if he was actually singing with the group)

and that leads me to thinking abt john dory's comment towards branch about how he never wrote any of brozone's songs, and branch immediately getting defensive, and that hc being so so fitting because branch knows he can write songs, his kismet bandmates know he can write songs, and i need someone to get me a fic of kismet being the MOST over-protective found family over branch as soon as they meet branch's brothers immediately pls and ty <3

fyi for those who came to my blog because of my carmen sandiego/she-ra posts: i'm into this funny little horror project called welcome home which you may have seen around/heard about. it's been a major obsession/hyperfix of mine since i found out about it in april of last year. there's going to be an update to welcome home's website - like a major update for the first time since last july - on friday, march 1 (this friday!!). just. prepare yourselves for the enslaught of welcome home content. thank you for your time

i was looking at "welcome to raccoon city" (that resident evil movie that was released in 2021) because i was gonna watch it with my sibling bc we both love this franchise and wanted to make fun of the live action movies, but tell me why jill valentine is there but not carlos oliveira. where is he. carlos was in raccoon city. what the hell where is carlos where is my wife

Don’t mind me dropping off some Daisey and Eddie ideas (will vary between angst and fluff)

Despite all the angst and miscommunication, the two are besties. They hang out a lot, Daisey helps with the mail while Eddie helps with their garden, it’s really wholesome

Daisey taught Eddie Spanish, so he understands Spanish a little

I made a whole branch au where instead of Daisey being mournful and lonely after Eddie ghosts them, they’re bitter and scorned. They basically don’t really like him at all and they don’t bother trying to keep any kind of friendship with him. Also they hold an umbrella a lot for some reason

Daisey drags Eddie to so many of their family’s parties he basically memorized the playlist their family uses

Daisey had a quinceañera me thinks, Eddie was a chambelán and he had absolutely no idea what to do. Their cousins had to help him during practice and they all complained to Daisey about him being clueless. Daisey socked them all in the face

They dance. To literally any kind of music. They will dance to Selena and Dolly Parton any chance they get

Daisey listened to Selena nonstop after Eddie left, Como La Flor was their anthem

Eddie (definitely) may or may not be scared of Vee, Daisey’s venus fly trap

Another branch/different au: Daisey and Eddie as Velvet and Veneer from Trolls 3, I need those two as a sassy celebrity singer duo

Eddie did Daisey’s English homework while Daisey did Eddie’s math homework

They swap hats occasionally

Daisey can carry Eddie. Julie totally tried to get Daisey to carry everyone else, they failed when it came to Barnaby and Poppy but everyone else was manageable

They both get nightmares easily, cuddles are needed

Crying and hugging is a must in their friendship, they need it
