also these r long im srry like the first draft i realized that i wrote the intros too long and i had to cut it BAHDHAHA
"Ah, Nakamura, there you are." The demon spots the white-haired as he briskly walks over.
"Noctis." His brows rose, not fully expecting for his attention to be called, especially from a fellow professor from the other school. The interschool staff meeting had just concluded, which was mostly just about future events and festivals, so everyone was leaving.
But Jesse..he seemed to be in a rush, did he need to talk about something urgent?
"I have something to request of you."
Nakamura blinked. "I see, you seem to be making haste..what is it that you mmph-!"
His words were muffled as their lips suddenly met with his. Eyes widening as he stumbles back a little, with Jesse's hand instinctively grabbing his wrist to stop him from falling back. They pull away as quickly as they started, letting go of Nakamura, who was slightly out of breath, felt his face slightly burn.
"I.." He pants, directly contrasting Jesse's calm demeanor, as he blinks towards the other man completely unfazed, as if he hadn't just kissed his co-worker with such passion and fervor, "What the in the name of god was that-!"
"I, unfortunately, have been dared by a co-worker of yours." He huffs, a clawed hand fixing his hair that had become slightly disheveled. "How curious, really, how the people of this world turn these sorts of things into ..juvenile party games. Honestly, talk about peer pressure."
They complained, not noticing Nakamura's appalled stare, he knew how the otherworld-ly demon was kept unaware of some aspects of human culture, but he didn't know that they could be this dense..
"...Noctis, you do realize that in a game of 'truth and dare', you can refuse to take said dare?"
It was now Jesse's turn to be confused. "You can do that..?"
??? Did he not.. "Yes..you can.." Nakamura replied.
His mouth hung open, as if to speak, before closing it again. His pale cheeks dusting a light pink, "Wh- I didn't- I wasn't told that .." He sighed, excusing themselves before swiftly turning a heel and sauntering out of the conference room. "UNOSIS." He yelled.
Of course! Fucking Unosis! Nakamura exclaimed in his head, following the demon suit.

"Godfrey, darling."
"Yes?" He calls, not looking up from the work on his desk as his friend, Beatrice walked up to him, bending down to lean her elbow on his desk.
"May I kiss you?"
Godfrey's hand falters in its writing, facing his friend with a calm look and a raised brow. "So forward, Bee, at least take me out to dinner first.." He jokes. "What for?" He then asks seriously.
There wasn't single trace of flusteredness in their expression. Beatrice expected this, Godfrey was always stiff as stone when it came to receiving romantic advances, despite him being oh-so coquettish himself.
"Hmm.." Leaning back, Godfrey hums as he glances at his side and towards their onlooking co-worker that had a certain..look..on their face. Catching on, he shifts his eyes to Beatrice. "Let me guess, this is for a dare, isn't it?"
She leans in with a smile. "Just go along with it." And Godfrey shrugs in response. "Fine by me."
Without any further words they kiss. A quick yet soft one, despite this being the first time that they had ever done something like this. With neither of them out of breath and their composure's still solid, they pull away.
She feigns a hurt look, "How interrogative of you, can't a woman just kiss her dear colleague without rhyme nor reason?"
"Oh, she can. Don't get me wrong." Godfrey leans back from his desk. "But if my intuition is correct, then I say we give that little darer of yours a show, perhaps an encore?" He teases, proposing that they do it again. "I'm a damn good actor, yknow."
Beatrice rolls her eyes in a playful annoyance, scoffing.
"Tempting, but aren't you pushing it a little now?" She plays along.
"Pfft- I only jest, Honeybee!" He laughs, throwing his head back. "Now if that's all you're here for, I'd like to return to my work, a kiss doesn't grade papers..as much as I wish it did."

In Blossom episode 3 & 4 reaction:
The moment FL is confronted with her own dead body 👏 👏
Then a nice murdery dream sequence. Now we're finally cooking!
Though I'm annoyed that FL is being foolish enough to openly declare she's not this noble lady. Snap out of it and try to LIVE, girl! She had enough survival instinct to make it out of a family massacre and rebuild her life as a coroner assistant. So I expect some resilience & ingenuity.
I got no objection to her considering Pan Yue the prime suspect, though. She's not wrong that he's got a reasonable motive & opportunity. Yeah, he was a sweet kid when she knew him but people change, especially when gaining power and status. It's a logical supposition.
I wonder if body snatcher's brother is evil? 🤔
Unexpectedly liked the scene where FL declares that she'll get justice for murdered body snatcher. Obviously the woman doesn't deserve it but I can vibe with the idea of FL feeling 'she paid for wickness with death' ; FL may have wanted revenge but never was gonna take it that far. and she feels a special horror at the idea of a bride being killed by her groom. The idea of getting justice on her behalf allows her to psychologically make peace with taking over another person's body & status.
Also liked that she immediately hooks up with her bestie, so she isn't totally isolated. That's the ingenuity I expected!
the blood declarations made me lol
I really enjoy the FL when she's a scheming hater and I enjoy him more with his dark side setting ON.
Episode 4
I'm just covering my ears & eyes and going la la la la to suspend my disbelief about how the noble miss is allowed to live in the magistrate HQ, observe, and cane officers. It's all ridiculous but whatever. That strange idol drama logic where period typical sexism both exists and does not exist, based on plot convenience.
So Heyang is super corrupt. ML and FL will have a lot of clean up to distract them from trying to murder each other.
I like that Pan Yue continues to appear reasonably suspicious (i.e. took the case file on FL's murder, appears to accept bribes), so our protagonist isn't foolish to distrust him.
On the other hand, I was looking for this drama to be darker with less wacky hijinks. Well, it's a cdrama so the tone could still flip.🤞
Enjoying the dueling, aha I have evidence you might have been at the murder scene vs oh no he might think I was a witness at the murder scene!

Id say andy started working there around/after the time amy got hired (which was before fry lela bender got hired). And andy ran out of the office shouting yipee!!! Yay!!!! and slipped on a random pile of water and got knocked unconcious. He woke up in zb's office Aww and zb was like So uh. I actually dont know anything about zb's sleeping habits. I think he would take naps a lot and sleep regularly. some new things that have happened in my life since last season:
i moved to LA (i actually live about 15-20 min from the big brother house which is super cool)
i finished my first year of law school
i met some super cool people at school - including the first crush ive had since i was like 14/15 lol
honestly i cant think of much else? school takes up most of my time unfortunately. i have gotten into some new video games like persona but that seems so boring in comparison lol
oh i got a pass to universal studios which has been fun! besties come join me we can do a BB day at the park
okay what am i most looking forward to this season hmm.... cheesey answer but watching feeds with you all in the tag! i feel like being a feeds watcher is such a unique experience and im so glad to get to discuss and experience it with all of you. idk ive always loved the sense of community that forms as we watch randos in a house all summer, i had to miss most of last season (bc of school 😭 really hoping my schedule is lighter this year) so its great to be back and get the chance to experience that again i really missed it.
okay more specifically im hyped to see some good strategy (hopefully) like i am searching for the same type of adrenaline rush that chess night from bb23 gave me. also really looking forward to the comps this year which is unusual for me but if i am interpreting the preseason promo material it seems like we're getting some throwbacks which has me caustically optimistic that we'll see some old faves 🤞

Thurs 16th June:
Worked 7am-4pm (🤮). Was meant to have my work bestie in for the whole shift but he had to work the late shift instead bc someone called in sick so I only saw him for a couple of hours. But we had a good shift and kept everything organised and under control. I'm gonna miss our teamwork shifts 😭 I feel like the two of us only half knowing what we're doing equates to one full manager 😂 anyway so work was fine. The weather was hottt so I got my shorts and vest on as soon as I got home and lay out on the decking reading. Then did some yoga out there and it felt so lovely 😌 Squeezed in a little upper body + core workout before dinner and that felt great too!
Did some coursework and now in the bath before bed. Back in at 7am to do it all again 😭 2 more shifts and then an easy week next week 🤞

Hahah yep, am from down under! Oh bestie, imma be so for real with you, the only sport I follow within Australia is the AFL (Australian Football League). Pretty much with every other sport, I follow bigger leagues outside of Aus (terrible, i know!). The only national team of ours that I pay close enough attention to is the Matildas, really. 😅
That's true, I too am not opposed to tanking if it keeps Paige off the Fever. So, who do you think from the 4 lottery teams last season will likely end up there again? I guess odds-wise, Phoenix and Seattle would be good for the #KeepPaigeOffTheFever agenda, but do you think either of them will end up missing the playoffs? Then Sparks too I guess is the other one? Maybe they'll rig it a little, and let GSV participate in the lottery and give them decent odds 😭🙏 But look, I take some comfort in the fact that Atlanta only had a 3% chance to win the NBA draft lottery this year, and they did, so I'm just hoping that if the Fever ends up back in the lottery and they have the highest odds, luck and the basketball gods will save us (and Paige) 🤞
Oh and I can't believe we're still on this but #LetNikaMühlPlay 😩

Ahh I follows WOSO a little bit so I occasionally keep up with Matilda's during internationals but would not say I know much other that I really like the name Matilda's for some reason and Sam Kerr has a fan in me forever since the incident with the cop 🤪
I think the likely 4 teams to miss the playoffs right now are the Fever, the Mystics, the Sparks and one of Sky/Wings/Mercury. Fever and Sparks would have the best odds most likely and I would actually like Paige on the Sparks with Cam. I'm really hoping, maybe the Mercury do fall into that and get it, cause then she'd be playing for the Liberty which I need her and Stewie so bad. Or yeah please rig it and give it GSV. Anything but the Fever please 😩
NIKA HAS BEEN FREED!! She's supposed to play Wednesday, just in time to guard Caitlin Clark 🤭

it's been great to see you grow over the years too and i'm definitely honoured to be your character development friend!! i love hearing your work stories from analyzing all of That Manager's behaviours to gossiping about how Flaky Manager might've met his gf, and everything in between! it's also been great to live vicariously through your concert reviews and fun moments with besties, so even though we're at the opposite ends of the world, it's so comforting to know that i have such a close bestie <3
and ofc your canada trip can still be your personality!! meeting up was such a once in a lifetime thing that i'll never thought get over it either bc who knew it'd happen? and even after it did, it still feels surreal??? (just like the entire face the sun album and be the sun tour did? yeah that). truly the stars aligned for that and i'll forever be grateful to have such an amazing experience!!
