Gaia doesn't even know Ryne's past. Even in the first two sections of Eden (before she loses all her remaining memories) she only really vaugely knows about the whole Oracle situation (That Ryne is the Oracle of Light, used to be called Minfilia, and was isolated somewhere in Eulmore). But like, she didn't know about the situation with Ran'jit, nor the way her relationship was with Thancred at first, having only seen them interact after they've already gotten into a healthier dynamic.
And after Mitron takes her memories she doesn't even remember that! iirc she never got those memories back either, so she kinda knows basically nothing about Ryne outside of the direct stuff she experienced in the Eden story.
I imagine Ryne would tell her at least the basic stuff(like her imprisonment in Eulmore & the Oracle stuff), especially since it would probably be a bit disconcerting for Gaia to have Ryne know so much about her yet know basically nothing about Ryne in turn. We already see Ryne telling Gaia about Thancred & Urianger when her memories first start disappearing, so I imagine she'd continue with that once the situation with Mitron is resolved. She has a good bit to explain, but explain it she will.

i cant sleep because i just remembered how like 3 years ago i went and bought starbucks for myself and like im always vaguely confused my fuckin bad but starbucks in particular confuses the shit out of me because i dont know a single damn thing about coffee. and anyway i remember standing around waiting for my drink right but somebody took mine without realizing and they bitched with their friends about the drink being slightly-Not What They Ordered and their name being spelled wrong (it wasnt. it was my name.) and i was too overwhelmed to say anything because it was loud as shit in there so i just took the girl's drink and had that in defeated silence but idk i guess something about my general demeanor made the girl suddenly connect the dots and her friend group started giggling and laughing at me? as if i fucked up? and one of them was mocking my name like ooooohhh THIS must be "ani" ahahahaha!! and like god damn i just walked out and did my best to pretend that i didnt hear all that. even though this whole situation was their fault. idk why this was so haunting to me but its keeping me up.

very niche and unnecessary opinion but did anyone else who typically views a lot of fiction as either lgbtq+ or found family see Agent Jay and Agent Kay's relationship from MIB (1) more as found family rather than shippy?

Sometimes I REALLY hate this game (aka. Fire emblem in general)
I've been going through all the training battles before I go onto the main thing for chapter 12. For completionism and also bc I fucking Need the training, holy shit
Anyways I got one for the rainy map from chapter 11. Aka where I was running my life. It was awful then, but WAY WAY WAY WORSE now. Bc they skattered my army across the entire map, some of whom are Very squishy, and gave us over twice as many enemies as I had units, almost all flying, and All of them advanced classes
It was a massacre. Unit after unit falling. Me desperately trying to get the survivors across the map so they could help each other survive. Hiding in the woods in hopes of them missing me, bc being out in the open is a death sentence.
One by one, my units fell. My Healers all fell. My Mages all fell. A few lingered through luck alone... but then it was down to 3. From an original 12.
Me, Alcryst, and Louis. I'd been trying to protect Alcryst bc he's my archer and there were SO. SO SO SO many fliers. I never did get him over to me. I sent Louis over to assist me bc my ass kept DYING & that gets a game over lol. So imagine a dragon princess just guzzling potions in the woods as her armor friend throws javelins over her shoulder. I made it work.
Poor fucking Alcryst though. Stuck in the woods alone, having watched the 3 around him all fall, clinging to his mini bow bc he was literally SURROUNDED and couldn't attack anything otherwise. Also guzzling potions. The literal only reason he didn't fucking die was luck alone. Those fucking woods, man. They made all the difference.
Not that it stopped me from dying like 4 times from like 13% chance hits :) I used that time reversal feature more in this battle than I have Ever before in this game.
