When Donald Trump said he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue I didn’t know it was a prophecy.
What the actual fuck is happening?

Republicans also want to take away Social Security, which belongs to the millions of people who've paid into it for much of their lives.
They want to take away Medicare.
They want to eradicate public schools.
They want to take away LGBTQA+ rights, and have already started.
They don't care about children. They don't care that kids in school have to worry about being gunned down in class. They don't care about LGBTQA+ kids. They don't even care about babies once they're actually born.
Republicans do not care about the American people. They must be voted out at all costs. Having Trump for only 4 years allowed him to implement corrupt SCOTUS judges who act against the will of the people. Republicans took the House, and have now implemented a christian nationalist who believes the earth is only 6,000 years old as two lacks of a heartbeat away from the presidency.
It doesn't matter who the presidential candidates are. Republicans cannot have political power ever again.

The bill would cost $118 billion and includes funding for Israel and Ukraine. Approximately $20 billion would be used for American border security.
"The Senate immigration bill ... fails in every policy area needed to secure our border and would actually incentivize more illegal immigration," the statement reads. "Among its many flaws, the bill expands work authorizations for illegal aliens while failing to include critical asylum reforms. Even worse, its language allowing illegals to be ‘released from physical custody’ would effectively endorse the Biden ‘catch and release’ policy."
The lawmakers claim the proposed legislation offers "too much discretionary authority" to embattled DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the subject of an impeachment attempt by House Republicans.
"The bill also fails to adequately stop the President’s abuse of parole authority and provides for taxpayer funds to fly and house illegal immigrants in hotels through the FEMA Shelter and Services Program," the statement continues before urging the Senate to pass the House's Secure the Border Act (H.R. 2) "immediately."
"America’s sovereignty is at stake," the Republicans concluded. "Any consideration of this Senate bill in its current form is a waste of time. It is DEAD on arrival in the House. We encourage the U.S. Senate to reject it."

Colorado Senate Democrat Says U.S. Has 'Obligation' To Fund Ukraine Before Southern Border Agreement
Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) stated that the United States has an “obligation” to fund the war in Ukraine before an agreement can be reached on border funding and a resolution to the record-breaking stream of migrants flowing into the country.
After the House returned to business following a weeks-long battle over the Speaker position, House Republicans advanced a bipartisan funding bill that includes aid for Israel. President Biden has vowed to veto any standalone packages that do not include for Ukraine and called on lawmakers to advance a $100 billion foreign aid package that includes $60 billion in assistance for Ukraine and $10 billion for Israel.
On Sunday, Senator Bennet joined Face The Nation to discuss the ongoing back-and-forth. “I think the really important thing that there is broad bipartisan support for in the Senate right now is that we’ve got to get a recognition that we’ve got to get the Ukraine funding done as part of this package,” Bennet said.
“We’ve got to get the Israel funding done, the humanitarian funding done, and the funding for Southeast Asia as well. There are some Republicans who have said that in order to do that, in order to have that vote, they want to see something done on the border,” he continued. “And I think we have had good conversations over the last several days and before that trying to see if we can get to some sort of solution. I believe of course that the Ukrainian people have earned a vote to support them without a negotiation on the U.S. border, but there are others in the Senate who feel differently, and we’re trying to see if we can get to a solution.”Face The Nation host Margaret Brennan then asked about the growing number of Republicans who have refused to vote for an aid package for Ukraine without an agreement on the border crisis.
Bennet acknowledged that this is the case in the House before claiming that Ukraine has taken back “half of its territory” that was captured by the Russian government and decimated the Black Seat Fleet.
“And now the United States, I think, has an obligation to continue to support them in this fight, not just for Ukraine, but a fight for democracy,” Bennet said. “And I don’t know whether the House will come to the conclusion that that’s enough for them so we’re continuing to see if there’s something we can do on the border. My view is there’s always room to make our immigration system better on behalf of the American people and I hope people of good faith can come together and together and reach a solution.”

The Iowa GOP wants food insecure people to starve:
Nearly 40 House Republicans have co-sponsored the bill led by House Speaker Pat Grassley — one that would limit SNAP food purchases (formerly known as food stamps) to only what is on the state's approved WIC list, a supplemental nutritional aid for women, infants, and children.
Some of the proposed restrictions mean that low-income, older, and disabled Iowans who rely on SNAP benefits would not be able to purchase items like fresh meat, white bread, or sliced cheese.
The bill dictates that people can only purchase 100% whole wheat bread, brown rice and 100% whole wheat pasta — no white grains allowed.
Fresh meats are off the table, as Iowans would only be able to purchase canned products like canned tuna or salmon. Sliced, cubed, crumbled, and American cheese would also be eliminated from SNAP food purchases.
Fuck the GOP.
VOTE THEM OUT.

The "vote blue no matter who" crowd is just happily proudly announcing right now that they are fine with genocide and fashism as long as it's not happening to them.
Now watch them come out of the woodwork to accuse me of being a Russian psyops.

[ID: A five-panel digital comic with no title, showing a person, representing a political leader, standing next to a large red box labled, "Fashism", with another person watching from the corner. In panel 1, the politician is smiling, holding a thumb's up. The person watching has their mouth open in horror, clutching their face with exclamation marks over their head. In panel 2, the person in the corner is now yelling frantically, "We gotta stop this!!!" In panel 3, the politician holds up one finger, and, with a smile, says, "Just wait [smiley face] You can vote it away!". The person watching, now smiling with their hands lowered, says, "Yay!" Panel 4 is a transition card that reads, "One election later" with the word "election" in thinner script surrounded by flowers and stars. In panel 5, the box of Fashism has been painted blue, with a paint can and brush visible behind it, and the politician once again smiling with a thumb's up. The person in the corner is cheering happily, shouting, "We did it, Genocide Joe! We beat fashism!" End ID.]

Murfreesboro, Tennessee has officially banned "public homosexuality".
This is not an exaggeration. A same-sex couple showing even normalized displays of affection--which will still be allowed for heterosexual couples--is being criminalized, because they have classified homosexuality itself as "sexual conduct".

I cannot stress how important it is that people get out to the polls for any and every election, and vote out every last republican.
