Pandora Hearts Month 2022 (REDO) Prompts!

Hello all!

I have recently learned that the @phmonth2022 blog is experiencing some technical difficulties—and has for longer, and a greater extent, than I realized. I don't get notifications properly, I don't get notified at all if people tag the blog, my posts don't show up in site's tags, and it seems you have to click on the blog itself to see any of its posts.

It seems as though a number of people who wanted to participate in Phmonth22 in May/June...never saw the posts about it.

This means that we will now be doing a redo of Pandora Hearts Month 2022!

It will have the same exact prompts as before, allowing people who didn't see it before—and anyone who otherwise didn’t get the chance before—to participate now! It will occur at the same time as The Case Study of Vanitas Month 2022! (Check here for those prompts!)

Because of the phmonth2022 blog's issues, I am hosting it here on my ph (and vnc) sideblog @this-idiots-left-eye. I will reblog my posts on the @phmonth2022 blog, as well as my main blog @i-prefer-the-term-antihero but I will make the initial posts here.

Pandora Hearts Month is an event that celebrates Pandora Hearts. The first three weeks celebrate the three main trios (Golden Trio, Rainsworth Trio, and Tragedy Trio) and the fourth is a bonus week that celebrates any ships/friendships/ot3 fans chose and love. You can create edits, fanart, drabbles, fanfictions, amvs and mms!

Some of you may recall me posting about wanting to add a competition aspect to Phmonth, with the 15th anniversary merch as prizes. I ordered the prizes long ago, however they still have not arrived at my house.

You guys voted to have a raffle decide who gets the prizes, so it will be easy to do the raffle at any time after Phmonth has ended.

Keep in mind that, as per your request, I do intend for there to be multiple prizes, at least one for the artists, and one for the fic writers!

I will revisit the prizes once phmonth22 ends!

On a walk together through one of the city's parks, Vanitas and Noé stumble across a badly-injured butterfly.

i'm sorry to whoever asked this, i accidentally deleted the ask itself but i DID screenshot it!

i stared at a wall for about five minutes trying to figure this out. but thank you very much! i'm glad people are finding my fics now and i love talking about my fics because it's a HUGE part of my life.

there's a lot of fics which i really loved writing and would definitely rank in my top-

dirty laundry - i wrote this during my A levels, it was a wild ride. it's vanitas no carte / pandora hearts and i've had a few people tell me it's their favourite.

this is primetime, reload and-- - laito addict fic, i was obsessed with this idea for a long time and personally i thought i did well putting it into a fic.

and the wisdom to know the difference - the subakou NA meeting AU. it's a oneshot but i really really loved capturing these two.

giving it all, rising to fall to my grave - it might be fresh in my mind and a biased choice but exploring alcoholic reiji in particular was really fun.

of course i have to put blue is the new pink in this list too. my beloved three-way crossover prison fic. i wrote this mostly in 2022, i was on an INSANE 4 day update schedule. looking back i really don't know how i did that. but it was a blast.

some honourable mentions are my subakou and reijiruki smut fics. and the azusa piss fic i wrote recently. in 2020/21 i wrote a TON of vnc astolfoé fics and at the time this was my otp and my favourite thing at the time, but i guess this ask is aimed at my DL stuff.

but my FAVOURITE fic? otherside and its sequel.

when i started writing otherside in 2017, it was around the time i got harassed out of the fandom for writing DL mlm ships. because otherside had shuuma, subakou and reijiruki, i had to delete it after 3 chapters in fear of getting hate (i did get hate on it anyway, people actually went out of their way to leave hate comments on my non-DL fics)

i had planned it for 15 chapters and was REALLY bummed when i couldn't keep uploading it. but i kept writing it and posting on a private account for a couple of readers. and damn, i fucking loved otherside. i loved the AU even if there were plot holes and inaccurate stuff. unfortunately at the time i stopped writing it after i got 2k words into chapter 11. this was back in 2018 and then i lost interest in DL and moved to the pandora hearts fandom.

it was always in the back of my mind that i didn't finish it. and when i got back into DL in November 2021 it was the first thing i thought of. i had a lot of reservations about posting it again but i REALLY wanted to finish it, even if it took me years.

so, i edited and re-uploaded the first 10 chapters, wrote a sequel (yeah, before i finished it. trust me it makes sense.) and in November 2022 i uploaded chapter 11, the first chapter in 4 and a half years! i'd been chipping away at it for months. and guess what, i'm 2.5k words into chapter 12!

it might take me a long ass time to finish it. and it's not my BEST fic by a long way, but it was my first DL drug addict fic and i am DETERMINED to get it finished because it's truly my favourite.

I haven’t written anything in over a year and haven’t written for this ship since I was 14, but being back in this fandom has brought me so much joy these past couple of months I just couldn’t not write something. So thank you to this fandom for getting my creative spark back! @inukag-week

InuKag week day 1 - Domestic

Kagome closed her eyes and let the soft night breeze wash over her for a moment. Everything was so quiet and serene. She could hear cicadas buzzing, smell flowers and water, see stars so bright they lit up their path as clear as the sun.

The other era was nothing like this. It was full of noise, strong smells, artificial lights, people chattering, cars running, billboards, buildings, restaurants, trash, a school bell... She had grown up in that other era, in a future where youkais and magic were a thing of the past, where science explained that the rain was caused by the cycle of water and the sun rose by the turning of the Earth, where ghosts belonged in films, and jewels that granted wishes belonged to the stories her grandfather told. She had been born in that era, grown up there, spent 18 years of her life there, and yet...

And yet it was that other life that seemed like a made up story, like a strange dream she had had once, the details blurry and hazy, its weird sounds and scents awaking in her a detached sense of curiosity and wonder, the memory of a dream she had long awaken from.

Was there such a thing as a world where the sky didn’t crackle with fox fire? Where she didn’t spy the form of a giant cat flying in the air and knew her best friend had returned safely home? Where she didn’t go out for walks in the forest every night together with a man with hair as silver as the moon and eyes as golden as ambar, that could as easily bend reality to his will with his sword as he could hold her hand and guide her through a well-known path?

Nonsense. Impossible. This was all there was, all that could ever be. Her reality and her place. Magic was real, a world where she was not with him could never be.

“You are very quiet tonight, Kagome.” His low voice broke through the quiet and made her open her eyes to look at him. Silver hair, golden eyes, fangs, claws. Her husband was part demon, how could he not be? A world where Inuyasha couldn’t exist just couldn’t be real. “Are you alright? Do you feel anything?”

She put her hand over her belly and shook her head with a smile. “No, Moroha is being very good tonight. I was just thinking about...” She stopped for a moment, thinking of the best way to describe it, and finally settled it. “Home.”

He averted his eyes, his ears twitched. A minute change, but Kagome knew him well. He felt guilty, sad, but why? He asked, slowly. “Do you still miss the other era much?”

The question got her by surprise. Her? Miss that dream? That impossible world that could never be? How could he... Her eyes widened, then softened. She stopped them on their tracks and looked up at him, holding tight to one of his hands, and grabbing the other to put it over her belly, over their child.

“No, Inuyasha. I was thinking about home.”

She had never been so certain of something in her life. He widened his eyes now, but she knew he understood her like she understood him. He smiled, pushed her hair away from her face, kissed her; and together they turned, putting an end to the walk of that night, and walked back the way they had come, back home.

Ok but I love how in the last episode, Yor yelled at the guy to get his hands off her daughter. Her daughter.

Even inside of their fake story, she is Loid's second wife and she generally only calls Anya "miss Anya" accordingly, but when Anya was in trouble and she was acting on pure instinct and not thinking about it at all, she said "get your hands off my daughter".

2022 wips

happy new year everyone ✨

after dumping all my stories on tumblr I sort of just disappeared from the surface and didn’t work on anything major. work’s been hell but there’s an end in sight.

for 2022 my goal is to use tumblr more and work on growing a bigger reader base. i want to write stuff i usually don't (especally smut and headcanons and drabbles) to widen my horizon. though if it comes to the smut and 18+ content, i think i'll make a separate blog for those who don't want to read that.

i'll definitely change the visual's and navigation of my blog, i'm not rlly happy with it as it is now.

so, here are the things i stared working on last year but couldn’t finish any of it, so here’s what i want to publish at some point (not in this order):

about: while out on a job, noé (ghost hunter) meets vanitas (medium) and he just knows he’ll never see eye to eye with him. but it won’t be the last time their paths cross and if they want to survive whatever the wicked spirits from the beyond hold in store for them, noé has to do the unthinkable: trust vanitas to save them both.

a/n: this has been in the making for so long. after the manga got the anime adaption, i thought it would be good to dive back into vnc but unfortunately, i didn’t rlly find any motivation to keep on working on this one. hopefully with the next manga volume coming out in a couple months, i'll finish this baby.

about: winning the meet & greet special of his favourite cryptid youtuber albedo, aether is beyond happy to finally see his crush in person instead of behind a plastic screen. it was supposed to be a nice away time from college, from mourning his sister’s absence after the fatal accident three years ago. hang out with albedo, venture through the forest in search for cryptids. stay very close to albedo. but albedo has his own reason to allow aether to grow closer to him, one that he might not follow through to the end as he starts to see aether as a friend. perhaps even more, though he doesn’t dare to, for the forest has eyes everywhere.

a/n: now this one. this one is very special to me and i wish i wouldn’t have plotted everything till the end because now i can’t bring myself up to put it into a decent story. it'll certainly happen because coming up with and seeing how both aether and albedo develop during their companionship hit home. this one hopefully might happen sooner than later. i loved the recent event with albedo and his doppelganger and thought maybe that’d give me some motivation but nuuh. genshin in itself isn’t just bringing me joy anymore, so i think this’ll be the last fic for genshin in a while.

pairing: Osamu x Suna

tags: au, post-apocalyptic world, supernatural, angst, from enemies to lovers, major character death, mature content, eventual explicit smut

about: in a dying world where osamu’s priority number one is his brother and his priority number two is staying alive, meeting suna rintarou is a danger to both. hunted by monsters, always scared the disease might catch up to them, osamu can’t have another person to worry about; to take up a seat in his heart because he’s already lost too much. but maybe, suna is worth it. maybe, suna is the answer to end all this.

a/n: now this one is also very special. when work started to go downhill, this pairing kept me afloat and going. it's become my top comfort pairing of 2021 and i need to write my own story with them, for them. this was the first idea i had, inspired by eve’s music video [yuseiboushi] that is an abso-fucking-lutely master piece. because the story ends as it ends, i decided at some point i'll write an additional chapter after that (which you don’t have to read if you’re satisfied with the ending of this story) that’s a take on ‘they’re all movie actors and this was just a film and everyone’s happy. also osamu and rin are engaged.’
