An ex-Southdown Bristol VR running shuttle between Tyseley Locomotive Works and Tyseley station at the works' September 2019 open weekend. Bit of trivia, a Bristol VR was used for Doctor Who's Planet of the Dead. I rode this VR on one of it's shuttle runs, though I'm glad to say that this bus didn't drive through a wormhole and end up on San Helios!

All aboard! Stroud Vintage Bus Show returns this weekend
Vintage buses will descend on Stroud this weekend.
This Sunday, June 26th, sees the return of Stroud Vintage Bus Show at Stroud College, Stratford Road.
The event, organised by Adam Hall, attracts buses and coaches from across the district and further afield.

Women at P.S. 69 in Jackson Heights protesting the busing of African-American students from schools in Brooklyn, September 28, 1959. The Board of Education said that this was necessary because of overcrowding in Brooklyn, but it also was doubtless in response to the Supreme Court's ruling in Brown v. Board of Education. This prefigured the vehement anti-busing protests of the 1960s.

West Midlands PTE Daimler Fleetline at the 2018 Warley exhibition. I can just about remember these buses, as several lasted in service until 1997 and I can even vaguely remember riding one on the 55 route from Shard End. These buses are significant as they were the Midlands' first standard front entrance double-decker buses and have a certain old world charm to them.
