Everyone asks whether or not Goku would win in a fight against Superman, but I haven't seen anyone ask if Vegeta would win. Maybe because the answer is obvious
Vegeta: If goody-two-shoes gets his power from the sun, then I only need to blow it up
Goku: Vegeta, No!
Vegeta: VEGETA, YES!

Dragon Ball Super Manga Ch.100
Tumblr media
Yes, Cheelai, we have finally reached the end of the 2023 Dragon Ball Apocrypha Liveblog, but in particular, we've also finally reached the end of the seemingly endless manga adaptation of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie.
And yeah, this seems like an anticlimactic place to close out the year, but that's kind of how this entire liveblog has been, when you get down to it. I've had fun going through all this stuff, but there's a reason I'm referring to it all as "apocryphal". The Tournament of Power is a lot of fun, and the two DBS feature films are instant classics, but none of it really feels essential to Dragon Ball. From the OAVs to GT to Super, the main theme here is "Hey, remember Dragon Ball? Let's make more of that!" Everything ends up being a sequel or a callback or an easter-eggy kind of deal. And that's not the worst thing that can happen to a franchise, but it's probably fitting that we're closing out on the final chapter of a comic book adaptation of a movie that serves as a sequel to the Android arc that was a continuation of the Red Ribbon Army arc.
Tumblr media
Chapter 100 just retells the last several minutes of the Super Hero movie, and I already went over the film, so let's just concentrate on how the manga depicts it differently. We'll start with Gohan's right arm, which got some heat a few days ago when the previews came out.
I refuse to dogpile on Toyotaro, since he's a far better artist than I'll ever be, and I've genuinely enjoyed his art through this entire read-through, even when the writing has been bad. That said... yeah, Gohan's arm looks kind of weird. Maybe while Gohan was teaching himself the Special Beam Cannon, he learned how to do Piccolo's stretchy arm thing too.
I do think it's pretty dumb how chuds on Twitter will nitpick Toyotaro's art as though the original Dragon Ball manga was some kind of showcase of photorealistic anatomy. I've been a fan of this thing for a quarter-century now, and the key to loving Dragon Ball is to make peace with the fact that it's fundamentally goofy and stupid. Sometimes a guy's arm gets drawn longer than his other arm. Sometimes characters scream so loud that their jaws unhinge like when a snake swallows an egg whole. Bulma wasted a wish on the Dragon Balls to make her ass look hotter, because if she didn't, then Frieza would come back and use the wish to make himself taller. Goku grew his tail back by having a guy tug on his ass with a pair of pliers. This show was always a hot mess, so don't blame Toyotaro. It was like this when he got here.
Tumblr media
Anyway, Cell Max tries to block the Special Beam Cannon like he did in the movie, but Gohan has a harder time punching through, so in this version Goten and Trunks jump in to distract Cell and give Gohan a boost. In the movie, they were still Gotenks until after the fight ended, but in this version the battle must have taken a little longer, since they de-fused a little earlier.
Of course, this is just a way for Toyotaro to show off the Great Saiyaman X-1 and X-2 costumes one more time. It's kind of pointless, because all of the added Goten and Trunks scenes in this arc have been pointless. Also, Trunks' pose looks really awkward here. He looks like he got sawed in half, and both halves are still kind of flying forward in the same direction, but he's no longer connected.
I will say that I'm grateful for this final appearance of X-1 and X-2, because it gives me a chance to critique their outfits one last time. I hate the superhero undies they wear over their tights. They look baggy and puffy for some reason, which make it look like Goten and Trunks are wearing diapers. I'm pretty sure that's the exact opposite of what the boys were going for.
I mean, the outfits aren't that bad, but what irritates me is how Toyotaro keeps showing them off like this is the coolest thing going on in this story. The designs are presented like they somehow connect all these different things. Goten and Trunks were inspired by Cleangod, and they named their personas after Great Siayaman, and then Dr. Hedo saw them and supposedly based the Gammas' costumes off their look. Except X-1 and X-2 don't actually look anything like Great Saiyaman, or Cleangod, or the Gammas. It's just frustrating.
Tumblr media
Anyway, we get the same bit about cosmetic skin alteration from the movie, except Gotenks has already separated in this version, so Bulma can address Goten and Trunks separately.
Tumblr media
I also like this part after Pan shows off her flying ability. This segued into the credits of the movie, but here we see Gohan calling out for her to stay closer to the ground. It's pretty cute, since it kind of calls back to when Gohan was a timid child way back in the early days of DBZ. Now he's older and braver, but I bet when he sees Pan up so high in the air he thinks about how scared he was whenever he was up really high.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, some Red Ribbon goons have survived the battle and appear to be slowly getting away. This is nice because I noticed these guys escorting Carmine to safety in one of the previous chapters, and I've always wondered if any of the Red Ribbon guys made it out of the base alive. Pan knocked Carmine out, so it seemed reasonable to assume that he was vaporized during the Cell Max battle. Actually, in the movie, it looked like the entire crater was flattened, but here it looks like the destruction stayed confined to that area.
Anyway, the implication is that Carmine will return to Red Pharmaceutical and try to figure out his next move, but it seems unlikely that he could be much of a threat. Magenta's dead, the base is destroyed, and a bunch of their soldiers either died or deserted in this battle. Remember, even with the base and all those soldiers, Magenta still wasn't ready to make a big move. Dr. Hedo's androids were supposed to be his game-changing weapon, and now Hedo's turned against the Red Ribbon, so what can Carmine possibly do from here?
Tumblr media
We get some additional material of the Goku/Vegeta fight in the movie. In the post-credits scene, they were practically moving in slow-motion and we only got to see the final blow. Here, we see Goku and Vegeta each land one last punch before the one that ends it all. These boys look all rowdy and badass and it's great.
Tumblr media
When Whis finally responds to Bulma's messages, we get this cute shot of everyone sleeping in the back of her aircraft. Gohan talks about taking her to the amusement park, which seems kind of random, but it occurred to me that this might be setting up some filler story for Chapter 101. Like Gohan and Pan go to the amusement park for the day, and Carmine tries to kill them or something to avenge the Red Ribbon Army. That probably wouldn't be a bad idea, although I really don't want that to happen, because it sounds similar to the "Hedo vs. Goten and Trunks" stuff we had in Chapters 88-90. Everyone thinks Toyotaro has been champing at the bit to get done with this arc so he can return to his Black Frieza business, but for all we know he's been enjoying this whole bit, and he'll blow the next six months on filler stories with Goten and Trunks goofing around with Sgt. Nutz.
Tumblr media
Anyway, this is the last page and this was the last little bit of the movie too, so Toyotaro has definitely run out of movie to adapt. Also, Bulma looks really cute on this page, so I wanted to add that to the record.
So that pretty much wraps things up, except for one minor detail. Where's the big twist?
Tumblr media
I ran across this last month when I was checking to see if Chapter 99 would wrap up the arc or not. CBR.com did an article entitled "Dragon Ball Super Chapter 100's 'Unbelievable' Twist to Lead to "'Crazy Developments'" The story stems from comments made by V-Jump editor Victory Uchida, who was hyping DBS chapters 99 and 100 while appearing in an unboxing video for some reason.
The video is in Japanese, so I can't just pull out direct quotes from the man, so maybe this was all some big misunderstanding. Maybe it was a mistranslation, maybe Uchida got confused and was referring to material that wouldn't see print until Chapter 101. Or maybe he was just doing a standard hype job for his publication without thinking about what was actually in the magazine. After all, how can Chapter 100 have an "unbelievable twist" when it's doing a shot-for-shot repeat of a year-old movie?
So I assumed this meant there would be some sort of epilogue scene in the final pages, designed to set up the next arc. Sort of like how the last chapter of the Tournament of Power arc had the scene where the Galactic Patrol kidnaps Majin Buu. But Chapter 100 had no such thing. No Black Frieza, no Cell Max suddenly turning the tables on Gohan to win the movie, no mysterious appearance from Purple Turles or Red Bojack. Not even a lousy cameo from Platinum Cooler.
Does this make Victory Uchida an unreliable source of information? Or has he simply been misunderstood? I feel like his ridiculous yellow wig/hat thing kind of holds the answer to that question.
Tumblr media
Anyway, the ultimate fate of Dragon Ball Super lies in Chapter 101 and beyond, but those stories will be printed in 2024, which means they fall outside the scope of this liveblog. So unless Toei or Shueisha has a new movie or anime coming out in the next eleven days, I'm done. This has been the 2023 Dragon Ball Apocrypha Liveblog. Good night, everybody!

So I caught up on Dragon Ball Super manga again and while I’m still in the house of suffering from Vegeta not being able to be the victor of a fight for once-
-I very much have enjoyed the small internal arc of his in reflecting on his past self and how that’s played into him learning destruction style of fighting from Beerus now.

NNN Day 29 with Vegeta
Pairing: Vegeta x Fem!Reader
Tags: nsfw, smut, feral sex, rough sex, creampie, marathon sex, overstimulation, manhandling
A/N: He's got stamina but so do I.
Tumblr media
To say that he was pissed while fucking you was an understatement of his emotions. He was doing so well too, only one day left until his victory over this challange and you had to make him lose now. "I love it when you're angry with me."
"Hn, clearly. Otherwise you wouldn't have disturbed me. But now that you have don't think I'm leting you getf of easy. Well except for here." His fingers didn't stop tormenting your already sensitive clit. Your body couldn't catch a break from orgasms or his, which he fucked deep into your cunt from behind.
Vegeta snarled against your neck as you attempted to wiggle in his grasp. It was funny to him how easily you opened your legs for him as soon as he used his streangth to subdue you and put you in the best position to see his cock slam into your wet cunt.
There was no point trying to keep track of the amount of orgasms you've had, your pussy kept clenching around his rigid cock despite the sting. You hissed through your teeth as you felt him empty himself into your womb again, his warm seed providing little relief against his ruthless and unyealing thrusts.
"You're not done yet. You need to take more, you need to know what happens when you tease your Prince." You weren't done until he was, and since he already had crazy amount of stamina as he was, now that he was pent up there was no telling when he'd let you rest.

Prowler Hobie x Miles Headcanons
Normally in fanarts Prowler Hobie is taller than regular Hobie, but in this au I'd like to think this Hobs is taller than Miles but shorter than regular Hobie (because every Prowler is shorter than their Spider-Man counterpart in my mind) (laughs in short Miles G)
This Hobs is from Miles universe Earth-1610B, so he's American and his style and fashion sense is more close to Miles'
Hobs fell for Miles twice. Once on their first meeting when Spider-Man webbed him up (but he didn't know it was a crush yet), and twice when he met Miles at Brooklyn Visions Academy before he found out he was Spider-Man.
This guy has so many hoodies. Does Miles eventually steal some? Yes (More like Hobs shoves some into his hands, in the name of upping his game. Totally not to give him  boyfriend hoodies of course)
After Spider-Punk meets Hobs the first time, sometimes Hobie will randomly portal nearby wherever he is and start joking around with him / pulling him into shenanigans. I imagine their shenanigans play out like regular show episodes. Sometimes Miles gets pulled in too
The first time Hobs meets Miles G (Prowler Miles) they try to act cool / see who's the coolest in front of Miles because they both secretly have a vegeta complex and immediately start talking about tech and gear and then go to G's house to play Street Fighter and Tekken (Miles laughs and knows they're both nerds and weebs). Miles G is definitely trying to play the 'gotta make sure this guy is a good match for my bro' card here, and Hobs is like 'I can't believe Miles has rizz in every universe'
Canon event theory is flaky at best, but everyone knows every Prowler is fated to create the most god awful FL studio beats known to man. Hobs tries to impress Miles by playing some of his self produced music and it takes everything in Miles not to laugh or say its trash because Hobs has the biggest smile on his face and looks proud of himself
Them falling asleep with Miles' head on Hobs shoulder on the Metro train because they're too beat from a mission to swing / parkour back to their homes (Metrooooo)
Hobs shows Miles some of his graffiti art around the city while they're suited up, and that night Miles takes a risk and trusts him enough to lead him to his secret spraypaint mural of his uncle and the other spiders at the abandoned train station. Hobs is in awe and they have a heart to heart and Hobs helps him remaster some of the art and also add his own stuff too
Hobs starts showing up more and more around Miles, and Rio and Jeff think they're secretly dating. Rio and Jeff hit Miles with the 'Son we love you no matter who you love' and 'So you and Hobs huh?' And Miles does a record scratch in his head and says 'Wait what are we talking about right now??'
Cue Hobs with the "Its a pleasure to meet you Mr. And Mrs. Morales" and then when he sees the Morales' relax more, Hobs grins to himself like 'Yeah I got this in the bag'
When they're already dating and it's Miles' birthday, he takes Miles around the city to show him graffiti murals he made of Miles' face with Sunflowers and murals of Spider-Man. He ends the date with them on Miles' rooftop and Hobs takes out his Bluetooth speaker and Hobs starts rapping a song he made for Miles (and the beats he made are actually fire this time too!!) and Miles is awestruck. He was in love before, but he's even more in love with him now.
Combined team attacks (after Hobs alignment starts leaning more towards neutral/good) where Hobs throws Miles like an arrow towards enemies or Miles uses his webs to launch Hobs up in the air to do flips and attacks and stuff to defeat the villain of the week. Cue being surrounded by enemies and they're back to back in a fighting stance and when the first move is made they fight together effortlessly and so well it's almost like they're dancing. Cue the victory poses.
----
Hobs may have become the Prowler because he had to, or maybe he didn't have a choice, or maybe he did it because he had someone he had to protect, but ever since meeting Miles and being saved by his heroism, he's finally been given the one thing he's always ever wanted. A choice.

people often talk about how kid trunks absorbed a lot of vegeta's negative traits - cocky, boastful, competitive, prideful - but i feel like i rarely hear people talk about how future trunks has a lot of gohan's negative traits. he obviously comes off more mature because circumstances forced him to grow up quickly (not unlike gohan), but he's also awkward and insecure. he's never sure of his strength, and always seems to blame himself when things go wrong, even if it's beyond his control. he also seems to view fighting the same way as gohan; not something he enjoys, but something necessary, something he has to be good at to keep everyone he loves alive. until meeting frieza, he never would've had a proper victory in his life; everyone around him was always stronger than him, until one day he was suddenly forced into the spotlight as the last fighter able to take on an unbeatable enemy. no wonder they're so alike, they have almost the exact same trauma.

Everyone keeps giving Vegeta shit for constantly allowing an enemy to power up to 100% and ruining an easy victory but c'mooon.
Goku could have attacked Freezer while he was powering up to 100% and was like "nah I want to see him in full power" while Lord Kai was losing his mind.
Gohan (least competitive of the lot) let Cell regenerate bc killing him instantly would have been boring. When Cell returned from exploding all powered up Saiyan-style Gohan wasn't at all unhappy to get to fight him again. Now THAT would have been a sight to behold if not for Vegeta going haywire after Trunks died, which caused Gohan to get injured.
Can't blame Vegeta here. Saiyans are just Like That™.

What’s your overall opinion on Jiren as a character and an antagonist?
Tumblr media
I think a lot of Jiren critics miss the point with the guy. In particular, Team Four Star keeps trying to reduce Jiren to some cutting soundbyte. He's boring, he's like U11's Superman, he's an inversion of Goku, etc. You're never going to appreciate a character unless you're willing to meet the concept halfway.
In brief, he's the Man to Beat in the Tournament of Power. Unlike the other 69 opponents in the event, who resent Goku for getting them into this mess, Jiren finds Goku to be a nuisance, unworthy of his time or effort. Jiren can sweep the entire field by himself, and he knows it, but he's so bitter and depressed that he takes no satisfaction from any of it. This is just another job for him, one more chore in a long list of tasks that only he can do.
Jiren's sick of it. He suffered all this tragedy in his past, and now he's achieved seemingly ultimate strength, and it feels pointless to him. He wants to protect his universe and uphold justice. I think he's got that much in common with the Pride Troopers at least. But there's no joy in it for him. His victories are meaningless and hollow to him. Defeat is virtually impossible. Fighting the Tournament of Power is no better or worse for him than sitting alone in his room, staring at the wall.
I think that's what frustrates a lot of fans, because they want Jiren to be this exciting and charismatic figure, a cartoonish supervillain like Vegeta, or Frieza, or Cell, or a bizarre monster like Broly, or Buu, or Janemba. But Jiren flips the script by not giving a shit about Goku. He's not mad at Goku for causing the Tournament of Power to happen, he's not excited to fight Goku, he's not charmed by Goku's enthusiasm. He just wants to dominate the Tournament and leave. Not that Jiren has anything better to do with his time. He just wants to get it over with.
I think that's what makes the Vegeta vs. Jiren segments of the tournament so fun to watch. Look, I'm a big fan of Vegeta, but nobody thought he was going to be the one to take Jiren down. Vegeta's job was to try anyway, and get beat down to show just how tough things would be for Goku. And yet, we kept seeing Vegeta diving headlong into the fray anyway. He'd fight Jiren solo, he'd double-team him with Goku, he'd watch Goku fight Jiren and look for openings. Vegeta kept coming back for more, taking any action he could get, often with a big smile on his face.
Tumblr media
Why is it so satisfying when Vegeta manages to get those small little victories against Jiren? He never came close to winning, but he still managed to find openings in his defenses, and he kept coming back for more, and in the end, he gained Jiren's respect. Why does this matter? Because Vegeta's loaded with passion, passion that Jiren lacks. He does take satisfaction from winning, and he does care deeply about the stakes, and even if this battle were just for funsies, he'd still give it his all because he enjoys combat for its own sake. That's what makes him so tenacious, even when he doesn't stand a chance.
And that's what stymies Jiren, because on several occasions he wonders why his opponents refuse to just roll over and accept defeat. That's what he'd do in their shoes, after all, because for him victory and defeat have lost all meaning. There's similar moments with 17, Frieza, and Goku, but I think the moments with Vegeta are especially prominent, just because Vegeta is so laser-focused on defeating Jiren personally, as opposed to merely winning the tournament or running down the clock.
Ultimately, what turns Jiren around is when Goku and the others manage to win him over with their fighting spirit. Once Goku surpasses him with Ultra Instinct and he starts to despair, his teammates cheer him on, and he forges ahead. He loses the battle and Goku praises him for his performance, and he finally understands what it is that drives the others. Then he confides in Toppo that he has no friends and Toppo's like "We're your friends, dummy." So Jiren still has a long way to go, but at least he's beginning to climb out of his rut.
And that's what makes the character interesting. For his opponents, he's this wall they have to break through, but for him, it's about rediscovering something through the course of the battle.
Is he a good villain? No, but he's not supposed to be a villain at all. He's an antagonist in a story without a bad guy. He's an opponent who lacks the passion that the main cast have, and that's a weak point he discovers as the story wears on. It's a very cool thing we see. I don't know how that will work for future Jiren stories, but that's a problem for another day, I guess.

Are there any decent dragon ball YouTubers? I gave Totally Not Mark a shot (I got clickbaited into his Bardock is ruining Dragon Ball video) and his take was: TV Special good, Minus version makes Goku Superman, Super manga further ruins the story because of the wish Bardock makes.
I know I’m biased as a Bardock fan but I actually liked Super Hero/Minus Bardock just as much as TV special. Will never defend the Super manga though, I don’t even think Toriyama outlined the Granolah stuff did he?
He outlined some of it. The idea was Toyotaro's (and Victory Uchida's too, apparenty, which would explain why he's always trying to hype that arc) and he sent it to Toriyama, who apparently came up with a lot of the lore and a basic outline for him based on those ideas. From there, Toyotaro wrote the dialogue, the details, etc. So what exactly is Toyotaro's or not, we don't really know. But the arc itself was not Toriyama's idea. As for DB Tubers, unfortunately, I tend to not really watch their content. More than once I've been accused of "ripping off" some of my own thoughts on things from them, or being influenced by them, so I've kind of made it a point to ignore them to avoid that in the future. I'm sorry I can't really be of more help there. But for the record, I absolutely HATE the whole "Goku is Superman" thing, mostly because of how people misuse that. While there are some basic similarities in that both have the whole "Baby Moses" motif, for some reason people don't refer to the updated comic origin for Superman with this, but the 1978 film where he's deliberately sent not just to survive, but to be a hero. This is not the case with Goku. He's legit dropped on Earth to hide and potentially be picked up later. It's a completely random event, not one of "destiny" or anything like that. In fact, the Bardock Special has more of that to it than Minus does, given Bardock legit sees the future and sees Goku on Earth, fighting Vegeta, facing Freeza, etc. Such a weird, bizarre claim to me, and betrays a lack of media literacy in regard to the material.
Anyways, sorry, got a bit meandering there at the end, but I maybe folks who follow the blog can point you toward a few good ones?

Anybody been noticing the evolution of Deku's overall aesthetic? Like in terms of heroic aesthetic. Each hero generally has their own aesthetic. All Might had a Superman-esque aesthetic. Not exactly Superman, but the closest thing imaginable. All Might always tried to inspire hope. He always did that on purpose.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Endeavor later learned how to replicate All Might's hope aesthetic, but his is more centered around "Hope for Victory" in contrast to All Might's "Hope for Peace"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Notice Endeavor constantly looks like he's chock full of pride? I'd almost give post-"Holy shit I'm a terrible father" Endeavor a Vegeta-esque vibe.
Stars and Stripes is somehow a combination of both
Tumblr media
Horikoshi loves to play with aesthetics. One of my favorites being Shigaraki.
Beginning Shiggy: Obviously looks like a villain, thought he was going to shoot a dog.
Tumblr media
War Shiggy: Elegant. Almost like Nana Shimura. If I never read BNHA, I thought he would've been a hero
Tumblr media
But my point is, Deku's design and aesthetic has been reflective of his arc throughout the series.
Deku Mk I: green, doesn't know what he's doing. Has no realist ideals. Simply an idealist.
Tumblr media
Notice how frail he looks despite the fact we KNOW he's built like a triple decker bus. It's supposed to represent how out of his element he is.
Deku Mk II: More experienced, learning from his mistakes. He's becoming a more traditional member of hero society.
Tumblr media
You can tell by the more thick look of the suit that Deku is beginning to look more competent, but you can tell that he's uncomfortable with this. Ignoring the fact that Deku canonically didn't like the mods to his mom's suit, you can tell he isn't comfortable yet.
Deku Mk III: Finally used to his own self. He has become the pinnacle of traditional hero society
Tumblr media
This is a Deku that visually looks more complete. Deku MK II had too many loose lines. His gloves rising up to his bicep makes him easier to look at. He looks less confusing to look at. This is a Deku that made his first real independent step. He went from punching to kicking. Notice this is the costume Deku uses in his first official villain fight.
Infinite Deku
Right here we get Deku's first legit "All Might" moment. Where visually he looks like a symbol of hope
Tumblr media
I used a still from the anime here because the colors and poses pop more in the anime than in the manga. This is a Deku that if I didn't know who he was I'd assume he's the main character
Deku MK IV: Same general deal as Deku MK III
Tumblr media
The Air Force gloves eventually help him become more of a visual vesself for the OFA users, and that's the most significant visual difference. This is a Deku that looks like a good, fine, member of hero society, but he doesn't look like symbol of peace material. He just looks like a strong background character
Vigilante Deku: Basically a villain. Crap your pants terrifying. Beaten, broken. But, he looks the most like a hero. Granted, in the way Batman looks like a hero. But he looks like his true hero. All he had to do was reject traditional notions of hero society
Tumblr media Tumblr media
notice how Deku is slowly looking more and more unhinged throughout the vigilante arc
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isolating himself and acting like a "true hero" is driving Deku insane. So while his vigilante era is the most akin to traditional comic book heroes, he can't maintain that.
Final Deku: An amalgamation of Mk IV and Vigilante
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aesthetically speaking this is Deku one step before he becomes the symbol of peace. Sure, his costume isn't super visually distinct, but, Horikoshi makes up for that with how he's posing and framing Deku. I have a feeling that Deku is going to get one more redesign. But as of right now, this is a Deku that looks closest to a Symbol of Peace. He can still be unhinged like Vigilante, but can look just as heroic as Infinite.
Thanks for listening to my ramble

Dude imagine Vegeta and Goku both being yanparents over the same kid. imagine the chaos that would ensue.
Goku is totally all for sharing custody and raising the child as a part of both his and Vegeta’s families, meanwhile Vegeta is fighting tooth and nail to get this kid to solely call him ‘Dad’ so he can rub it in Goku’s face and laugh victoriously.
Then you have Bulma and ChiChi who have been dragged into this by their idiotic husbands and have just accepted taking on this new child and sharing them among the family. Like, Vegeta is the only one left in the dark about this, he’s just still trying to get this kid to choose him over Goku.
Also, I have no doubt that Goku was probably the first one who just saw this random child and immediately thought of adopting them (even if they already had a perfectly fine family), only for Vegeta to want to also adopt said kid all because Goku was. Like, Vegeta doesn’t get why or have any inkling to what Goku is thinking he just knows that he has to have this kid in his family first.
