Hi! May I request HCs of Skye, Omen, and Jett (Separate) whose partner [Reader] [Gender Neutral] [Romantic] [Valorant Agent] snuck a kitten into the Protocol after a mission? Say [Reader] explains they found the poor baby feline all alone and needs some aid. They promised to send the small animal to an animal rescue shelter after it heals up and ready for adoptions.

❝Skye:

You and Skye had a way too big a heart. When the two of you were at her house, deep in the australian forest, it wasn't uncommon to care for sick wild animal, cubs mainly; it just worked, made you look like a enormous unusual family, full of furry children, and she loved that. But she would never try to rehabilitate any animal at protocol headquarters, because ou two had very busy schedules and she didn't want any trouble with Brimstone.

You on the other hand didn't thought twice about picking up a kitten, so small and helpless, lying in a cardboard box on a crowded street you passed the last time you were in town.

So when she walked through the door, tired of the mission she just went through, and saw you with the feline in your arms, giving milk to the very hungry animal with a small baby bottle, she could just let out a sigh.

"Damn it, [y/n]"

"I can explain...! But first come and meet our baby, [k/n]"

She couldn't say no to the assignment, you both knew that. So she just accepted and started to come up with a way to concile the work in the Protocol and the care that such a young cat needed to have.

You really tried to be as discreet as possible, but within days Fade and Omen had already found out about [k/n] and were more than willing to help.

Skye's animals love the kitten, they spend hours just watching that tiny little thing, admiring it, taking care of it like guardians.

And not just them, but herself. As much as Skye maintains a certain façade, looking irritated, non stop complaining and lecturing about how you'll end up getting you two punished for being too kind, she has a twinkle in her eye and a huge smile on her face every time the kitten shows an improvement.

She absolutely loves this cat and she will try to convince you to stay with it. She even plans to get them used to a leash when it gets older so she can go on walks with them. Exercise buddies :D

Sage began to suspect something was up when she noticed the movement your room had been having for the past week and strange meowing noises in the middle of the night.

It didn't take long for her and Brimstone to connect the dots.

Despite the fear of what was to come, none of them really had the courage to punish you for [k/n], and since it's going to adotion soon, the kitty could stay a little longer.

Skye was so upset, hurt that she couldn't stay with the cat. She had so many plans and all this disappeared, even if you had never agreed to stay with it.

When the day arrived, it was hard to say goodbye, but you managed to go through it, together. And you knew that [K/N] would go to a good, love-filled family, they needed someone who gave them full attention.

Which did not prevent you from missing them.

After a day you were particularly sad, Skye decided to give you a gift, it was simple, but it was done with a lot of love.

A cat wooden totem, just like those of her animals; But this one was all yours, to keep you company and protect you while she is far away.

❝Jett:

It may not seem like it, but she loves cats

Like, a lot.

Whenever you go to Seoul, she drags you to these cat cafes and don't be impressed, because she knows the name of each of the cats by heart

Every time a cat shelter ad appears, she begs you to adopt one and every time you say no...and every time she gives you a few hours of cold shoulders.

So when she went to your room to see how you were after the last mission and saw a cat in your bed, she almost shouted with happiness.

"Sunwoo Han, no. We're not staying with it, I'll just take care of it until they're healed."

"But..but, [y/n]..!"

She loves to help you take care of the kitten, everything you need to do, she is already doing it without you needing to ask.

The cat loves her too, only Jett's presence seems to make them more cheerful.

She promised not to be attached, but the next day she had already named them [k/n] and bragged to the other duelists.

When you arrived in your bedroom and saw all those people around your bed, with toys, clothes, cat snacks and even a cat tower, petting the animal, it was very difficult not to lose your head.

"I'm sorry, [y/n], things ended up getting out of control..but [k/n] seems super happy."

Brimstone is not happy though.

What will the Protocol become if everyone doesn't care about the rules?

[K/N] would really have to leave.

You preferred to choose the future owner by yourself, try not to involve Jett at this stage so she wouldn't suffer.

All the other agents were sad too, they bought so much stuff for [k/n] and now they're gone.

At night, when you were getting ready for bed, she looked at you with those little puppy eyes and asked if the kitten was okay.

"I think so, honey. They're with your parents, they'll take care of it while we work."

"Wait a second..!"

When she realised what you did, she hugged you so strong for so long that she slept with her arms around you.

And now she has a cat waiting for her in South Korea...and you have an incredibly happy girlfriend.

❝Omen:

You have returned from your mission, Omen can sense your presence.

But you didn't go looking for him, stranger...

Teleporting to your room, he saw you tending to a kitten's wounds.

He doesn't ask you anything at first, just suggests that you take it to his room, which is already cat-proof while the two of you tidy up yours.

Omen's cat watches from afar, from a high cat tree, quiet as its owner, almost jealous of the attention the other one is getting from you and your boyfriend.

Eventually you tell him that you found the kitten dumped in a partially destroyed building, so badly hurt that you thought it wouldn't even make it to the base alive.

He doesn't mind helping with care, especially at night, when you're tired and he can't sleep

His body may not be very still, but his hands are insanely precise when he needs to use them - plenty of practice cutting bonsai branches.

Simply a sweetheart

No one takes care of a cat as well as he does.

He buys so many treats and wet foods, also its own cat tree (his cat doesnt like sharing)

By the time the cat is good for adoption he will be so chubby and pampered

Brimstone and Sage didn't care too much when they found out about the new HQ resident, Omen was less unstable and that's what matters, if it's going for adoption, just makes everything goes smoother.

He knows you're just temporary parents to it, but he can't help but knit its lots of clothes and even some yarn pets, it's so cute.

When you're on missions elsewhere, the ones that will take days, he makes a point of sending pictures of the two kittens wearing something silly. Makes you smile and he knows it.

The other agents have heard rumors about a new cat, but he will never talk about whether or not it exists, he knows everyone would be excited to see them and despite everything, [k/n] is still kind of sick. So he wants to be extra careful

Omen can't lie that he was a little upset when he had to say goodbye, but he knows that the cat is going to a home where it will have all the love and care in the world... and his cat was already bubbling over with jealousy, they need to be the center of attention for a while.

I saw the designs for some the possible tiger spin off characters. I was wondering whether tigers in IHS use similar name traditions as lions?

Me and RJ and some folks in the discord server co-signed the idea that since tigers in this universe are very self-sufficient and proud, either their parent gives them very grand names, or maybe traits the parent hopes their cub has or is like when they grow up (like Magnificent, or Handsome, or Chivalrous, or Tenacious) or after their strengths (like Vigor, Valor, Merit, Cunning, etc) or they can name themselves something that they feel is more appropriate. (I guess kind of like some of the Rainwing names from Wings of Fire?)

This will not be addressed in the main storyline in the comic. The tigress who shows up doesn't address herself by name. - Cat

Cleo figured out something was up and confronted joe a week after Grian died.

A quick Headcanon Power Hour (Power Minute?) before I get ready for bed:

It's an idea I've had rolling around in my head for a minute but with @ratasum mentioning just now that Agaue wouldn't name a cub after Medea since she's still alive, I figured I would post it.

I don't believe that charr name cubs directly after family members. Hence why Garrus would prefer to use Horatio if they have a boy to honor his sister's memory; and Medea or Liath, or any other family members he and Agaue hold in high regard who are still living, are completely off the table. It boils down to the concept of stolen valor, I suppose: if you take another family member's name, especially if they are alive or recently dead, for a cub you are basically assigning them that family member's worth to them as soon as they are born... and from that point on they are responsible for not only maintaining that worth but growing it.

Charr may not believe in gods any longer, but superstition runs deep.

Las competencias atléticas de los XIX Juegos Deportivos Panamericanos en Santiago de Chile se iniciaron el domingo 22 de octubre con el maratón, ganado por el peruano Cristhian Pacheco -revalidó su título- y la mexicana Citlali Moscote. Este domingo 29 será el turno de las pruebas de marcha de 20 km, antesala de las competencias de pista en el Estadio Nacional. Y por el gran nivel internacional que alcanzaron los atletas sudamericanos en las últimas temporadas, herencia directa del fantástico Jefferson Pérez, ahora hay esperanzas de nuevos lauros para ellos. Entre los animadores de los 20 km seguramente estarán el ecuatoriano Brian Daniel Pintado (defiende su corona de Lima 2019) y el brasileño Caio Oliveira de Sena Bonfim, además de otros ascendentes valores de nuestra región, que enfrentarán a atletas de la clase del medallista olímpico Evan Dunfee, canadiense. Frankenstein conquista el mundo. 1965 Ishiro Honda

Los años del jipismo puro y duro, del rock n roll, las drogas, el sexo y la llegada del nuevo cine de Hollywood con Bonnie y Clyde (1967) y la próxima llegada del grupo, Spielberg, Coppola, Lucas, Scorsese, este grupo de amigos de carrete cambiaran rotundamente el cine Hollywoodense mostrando lados marginales y un estados unidos bastante oscuro e incluso crear la película de verano (Jaws), George Lucas se inspiraría en los vietnamitas para su saga Star Wars, etc…

La ciencia ficción en Estados Unidos de los 60 provenía del miedo constante hacia la invasión comunista y el acabar con los “valores” estadounidense, en Japón la ciencia ficción era la bomba nuclear y sus consecuencias, las cosas horribles que es capaz de hacer el humano.

En los 60 en Japón las televisiones estaban plagadas de sagas enormes (Godzilla, Zatoichi,Lone Wolf and Cub, etc..) La gran mayoría de gente no miraba las películas en orden sino más bien veían lo que estaba en los cines o la televisión, desde la llegada de Godzilla (1954) del mismísimo Ishiro Honda el cine japonés ha visto innumerables ocasiones a distintas ciudades de Japón siendo destruidas por monstruos gigantes, algunos son del espacio, otros son de las profundidades del mar, otros son de experimentos, etc… Pero siempre está el factor de que el mismo humano es quien despierta al monstruo por las malas intenciones que tienen estos (Principalmente la guerra, la bomba atómica o el dinero), pensándolo así encuentro que era inevitable el choque de mundos de Frankenstein con los Kaiju ya que nuestro amigo el monstruo de frankie es creado por un científico que desafía a Dios en crear vida, es un bucle de vida y muerte que el mismo humano provoca, pero esta película logra cumplir con la filosofía de Frankenstein o incluso de la misma Godzilla (1954) que era una película tan crítica y hasta incluso con el acto final del doctor que se sacrifica junto a su letal bomba que destruye al monstruo con el fin de que nunca nadie tenga esa bomba, esto veremos ahora.

¿De qué trata?

Tras la derrota de la Alemania Nazi en 1945 salen a la luz los oscuros planes que tenían sus científicos, en eso encuentra un extraño objeto, este late constantemente, es el mismísimo corazón del monstruo Frankeinstein, los planes de los fascistas era crear soldados que ni con una bala podían matar, los científicos japoneses se llevan el corazón a Hiroshima, ese día seria el cobarde ataca de estados unidos a Japón, nunca mas se supo del objeto.

Más de 15 años después un extraño sujeto es visto por las calles, la gente cree que es un niño que sus padres murieron por la bomba y desde ese entonces vive en los bosques, se le ve pasar por las ciudades para comer animales de la gente como perros o gatos. Este niño sería atrapado y posteriormente se descubriría que no puede parar de crecer hasta llegar a varios metros, el niño había brotado del corazón del monstruo de Frankenstein.

Tras esto un terremoto hace que despierte nuestro verdadero enemigo, el enemigo final del frankie, Baragon, hay que tener en cuenta que toda la historia gira en nuestros tres protagonistas, tres doctores, la cual la chiquilla es la única en la que el monstruo se “comporta”. El monstruo logra escapar del lugar donde lo tenían encerrado, con dos monstruos sueltos y sin saber sobre la presencia de Baragon la gente culpaba al monstruo Frankenstein de estos actos de destrucción a ciudades, cuando en realidad el monstruo nunca ataca a los humanos y Baragon es el responsable. Llegando al momento gran esperado de la batalla final entre frankie contra Baragon, con un increíble fuego de fondo, frankie sale vencedor, pero literalmente de la nada aparece un pulpo gigante, este terminaría por llevarse al monstruo a las profundidades del mar.

Cumple?

Tras haber omitido toda la historia de nuestros personajes principales que no suma nada por desgracia la película se pierde en ellos, la falta de acción y lo fome de la batalla final le baja mucho, me sorprende de hecho que alguien tan seco como el Ishiro siendo el rey del género Kaiju cayera en esto, también la filosofía de Frankenstein está demasiado simple y no me logra convencer para nada, de todas maneras una película para ver tranquilo y sin esperar mucho, igualmente logra entretener pero no llega ni de lejos a las obras grandes del Ishiro, lo que claramente suma es que aparece el amigo del pueblo, el Takashi Shimura (Ikiru, Los 7 samurais), desde Godzilla (1954) nunca volvimos a esa película oscura con una crítica dura y fuerte, sin mirar en menos las siguientes películas de Kaijus se volvieron más comerciales y finales más bonitos, yo creo porque la gente cansada de la segunda guerra, la bomba nuclear y la tensión de una posible guerra nuclear entre Estados Unidos y la Unión Soviética la gente ya no quería ver finales amargos, necesitaban un final con la luz del sol saliendo entre la oscuridad y pensar en que todo el mal se iba ir.

Recomiendo de corazón Godzilla: La invasión de los astromonstruos (1965) también de Ishiro Honda.
