one of the most important moments in an idol’s life is their debut. the path they have worked hard to get towards and the day when the world catches a glimpse of who they are. some may choose to follow and support them from the beginning, others might just keep an eye out for them. those first impressions are key.

our first upcoming event focuses on a debut song/concept of your choice. whether it’d be writing a fic inspired by the song’s meaning, a few lyrics, or just the overall vibe the song may have. the fic does not need to be word for word on what the debut song is about, hence the room for growth above. others may create visuals that took place during an idol’s debut. this can include screen grabs from their debut mv, any content from their debut era, etc.

this event is exclusive to members only. if you’ve seen this on your feed and are interested in joining k-labels, and our future events, please review our official post and our audition forum.

due to this being a members-exclusive event, it is very encouraged that all our members are in our discord server, as that is where any information and questions about this event will be posted. if you are not in our server please reach out to k-labels or our admins cici @iyeonjuni and val @fairybinie and we will provide you with the link. otherwise, you may ask potential questions through our dms and ask box!

SUBMISSIONS FOR THIS EVENT WILL BE ACCEPTED ON AUGUST 7th THROUGH AUGUST 14th (deadline). along with our standard k-labels tag, please use the event tag kl: debut so it’s easier to sort through.

as always, each fic must contain its usual trigger warnings, genre, word count and pairing in the beginning. we will not be accepting any mem x mem fics.

for our writers, the debut song you choose does not need to be the same artist you write for. this way, it can allow for more flexibility! ie. you choose crown by txt but you can write for stray kids.

no smaus or smau dedicated chapters for this event. fake text oneshots will be accepted so long as it adheres to the prompt of this event.

fic word counts must be at least 300 words and a maximum of 4,000 words. be gracious of the keep reading tool.

any glorification or inclusion of triggering topics will not be allowed.

PLEASE DO NOT PLAGIARIZE OTHER CREATORS’ WORKS.

if you intend on writing a nsfw piece, please make sure that the idol in the fic is of age. we will only accept idols born in the year of 2002 and older. minors are not allowed to write nsfw.

for our visuals and gfx creators, it’s pretty much free game. as mentioned in the insights half, content may be used from an idol/group’s debut mv, debut era, etc. still, to make it unique please use your favorite lyric(s) of the debut song as your caption!

hive announcement #10

Hello Everyone!

This is going to be a very long announcement so please take your time to go through this.

As some of you may know, Tumblr has terminated our affiliate BTS Gold Network’s blog for unknown reasons, and we have yet to hear back from support after multiple inquiries.

If you didn’t know, I (Val @kookdiaries) am also an Admin there, and the other admins and myself have been discussing potentially merging BTS Gold Network and BTS Honey Hive, and due to the BGN blog no longer existing, we have decided to move forward with this decision. We also believe it will ease and lighten the workload of all team members, and increase network activity and participation with new members for everyone to interact with.

Starting today, we will be merging BGN with BHH. We're keeping BHH as the "primary" network since Tumblr terminated the BGN account and all current BGN members will now automatically become members of BHH.

BGN members have been given their own announcement in their network Discord server with steps to follow to "complete" the merge. Those of you who are already members in both places do not have addition steps to take.

For those of you who are members of BGN but choose not to opt into joining the discord server, please reach out to myself (@kookdiaries) or Summer (@yutastehtic) for the information you’ll need to join BBH through the merge.

Members will transition to use the #btshoneyhive tag on original content moving forward and will list BHH on their nets list.

IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR BGN MEMBERS TO JOIN BHH. If you would prefer to say your goodbyes and not join the merge, that is most certainly allowed.

If by some miracle we do get access to the BGN blog back, we will also be sharing a similar announcement there explaining the merge and directing members not in the server to message myself or Summer for more info regarding the merge.

We also want to be extra clear that after the merge is finalized BGN will no longer exist, so in the days/weeks to come, the BGN discord server will eventually be archived/deleted.

With this merge, there are a couple of other changes we are making with our network:

🐝 Firstly, we are now transitioning to a ‘closed’ content network, meaning that only members of the net will be allowed to use the tag and have their work reblogged.

🐝 Secondly, we will be allowing gifs, gfx, edits, moodboards, fanart, etc. as accepted forms of content besides just fanfics.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, we will respond as soon as we are able to. This merge may take a week or so to complete so your patience is much appreciated.

✨ Welcome to the GOT7 7for7 Project! ✨

With GOT7 entering their 7th year, we decided to celebrate them in fitting fashion by creating content completely inspired by them! This project, inspired by the recent Carat Revival Challenge, will encompass the members, their discography, interests and their charms.

Starting midnight (KST) Monday 4th January 2021, and every second week until completion, we will be posting a “project run” with 4 themes for content creators to participate in! You can post anytime in the two weeks allocated to each project run.

All types of content are welcome! Gfx, gifs, fics, moodboards, videos - you name it! If you make it, we want to see it!

If you’re new to creating content, and need help getting started, or just need a sounding board for your idea - please feel free to send us an ask/DM and we’ll do our best to give you a hand!

ok this is the fist one (still very pleased with colouring here T_T the stage lighting was,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well yeah as always lmao) and this is the most recent (TBH DKJSKDSDK I WISH MY MOST RECENT POST COULD BE A DIFFERENT ONE THE ONE I WANNA MAKE FOR A MONTH NOW THE ONE ID PUT A LOT MORE EFFORTS IN SO IM A LIL FRUSTRATED i literally just missed giffing but couldnt watch anything new so took an old vid i wanted to gif once I DIDNT EVEN USE MYCOLOURING PSD IT LITERALLY HAS ONLY COUPLE OF LAYERS uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :( but whatever,,, it just kinda doesnt show the difference -_-)

well 👁👄👁 there r quite few,,, and the main reason is colouring most of these r comps and i a b s o l u t e l y sucked at comps and esp at making the colouring consistent there lol so lets begin lol 1 (u have no idea how muchi love this set) 2 (i fucking mastered it i wanted to remake it for two years and i finally did!! 60 fps smooth good moments iconic performance iconic hair colour his attitude bruh and ofc the fact that i could do sth with colouring,,,,,, and chose such an unusual colour scheme that i doubted jckdckfdk and it still worked out 🥺) 3 (lol i had this idea written down since 2018 as well and this year i could finally collect all moments i needed and oh boi yeah,,, AND COLOURING I COULD ALMOST yeah almost do sth decent with it there r still couple moments id changed but im pleased) 4 (im so happy whenevr i see this CUZ IT ALL WORKED OUT it was such an impulsive comp i literally only saw couple moments for past few years as well where i could see three of them in one frame and suddenly I WAS LIKE I FUCKING MUST POST THOSE MOMENTS SOMEHOW and im so proud of colouring it looks so well T_T) 5 (the colouring ofc im still :o that i could get rid of that shitty shit dkksjkj AND THE MOMENTS ITSELF?????? AND BLACK SWAN???????? EVERY PERFORMANCE???? HAIR?????? OUTFIT???????? EVRERYHTIGNM???????? HIS FUCKING STARE? FACE??? DONT MAKE ME CONTINUE AAAAAAAAAAA also if im not wrong this set in particular made me start my before/after posts 🥺) 6 (i jujst love everything about it e v e r yt h i n g also i could made ppl believe that jin fr has purple hair here when in reality its brown djhfdhskdf one of blending modes or adjustment layers worked this way lol) 7 (i wont even comment this tried a great tutorial with great beautiful resuls for the first time ever and it worked out so well and i like it so much and the whole yoongi here,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, also love me some borders that add cinematic feels to some gifs or just make them pretty in a dif way just like i did with prev post i mentioned imo lol) OK LAST ONE 8 (I USED A VIDEO OF STARS AND ADDED IT TO THE GIF FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER I FUCKED WITHMASKING FOR 3 HOURS GRRRRRRRR THIS IS SO HUGE FOR ME!!!!! i cant even explain whew IVE NEVER DID ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE SO I WAS REALLY PROUD TOO even tho i fucked masking up on some layers lmao but lets not pay too much attention to it 👀)

ohhhhhhhh i think this one cuz the moments were long i couldnt decide what do i want to include + it ts file so u kno,,, the speed,,, of processing,, + somehow decided to put them all together + fucked with colouring + had to get rid of the logo and as we know japan likes a lot of big braight text around haha and draw hair in moments where logo made it look blurry + had to adjust the order and all that stuff but getting rid of logo was the longest part

whew this iconic one im still amazed tbh they looked soso incredible and im glad how everything turned out here <3 (could change some colouring on bg tho so it could look better and more hq :c)

7. Do you have a comfort group or idol you create for when you're feeling down or uninspired?

this is what my gifs tag looks like at the moment. idk about you but i sure do think there's one man who's taken over the place (and this isn't all of it, it's just from the moment when i started to get very busy and i couldn't really gif like i used to...and this is also excluding gfx). but yeah, if i want to create something when i'm feeling down 9.8/10 times i want to gif him.

10. What is most important to you when creating?

having a good concept. i enjoy making things that make sense to me, you know what i mean? if i could gif more i would make a lot more stuff but since i can't, what matters most is making something that i like (gifs) and feel passionate about (gfx).

17. Where do you find inspiration?

films, other music videos, books, everywhere really! i love making connections between things and adding that to what i make.

Hi, hello~

Well, this is too sudden but this blog has mean a lot to me, so to decided to take a break from it was really hard. But sadly life has running me down, i don't have a time to create something anymore. But i'll be back tho, i promise, so in the mean time while you wait, i want to share some of my favourite works so you guys could check it, because i see many people still following me while i wasn't making anything these days. So here's my pick:

GOT7 member's Solo as Netflix Original Series

my fav creation by far, i usually sketch something before i made a gfx but for those i really just created it on a whim, kinda lucky because it works and i'm proud of it

Devil Jeonghan's Birthday post

Well for this one i really love the idea of Jeonghan as a fallen angel or devil lol, and i really had a clear vision of how i want to put all the objects in the edit and the end result really satisfied me

Youngjae's Birthday post

Because i really want him to have a solo album or something because he really deserves it and decided to make my own version of it, took 3 days because i always made a mistake in the spotify layout, it was a pain in the ass but i really love the outcome

Jinyoung's Birthday post

Basically i love fairytales, after Jeonghan one i really need to make something for Jinyoung too, well him as a Prince was a common nickname for him and i decided to make it came alive, really love the colour, and probably the prettiest creation i've ever made

Yugyeom's Birthday post

Well this one is really different, at first i really want to make a cute dandelion-y edits for him but then i remembered jus2 and want to make something cool for once so that happened and i'm glad how it turned out in the end

ATK Solo Album Promotion (AmeriThaiKong)

This one was purely my self indulgence, atk really deserve their own album or unit project or something, that's why i made this, really love the dark red green sexc vibes in this one

Just Right retro version

This one was the first edit that i made that made me got serious into gfx making like i never thought people would notice what i created that time and looking at the number i really appreciated every single one of you guys that made me continue to create something

This seriously the most fun i've been experiencing when i created an edit, like i love both groups and decided to combined them and it surprisingly worked

Fallin' Flower Mingyu

First time i made something like this and i'm kinda proud of it, i really love the song and mingyu's scene stole my attention since the beginning and kept thinking i should make something out of it

Gotseventween Project

This was such a fun project to do, i really enjoyed making every single theme, especially doing it with my fav moot here (val i love you), hope we had another collab in the future!

But tbh i love all the things I've created and posted on this blog whether it's a gifs, photo edits, or gfxs, so if you could check all of them just look at my bio for easier navigation!
