plenty of drivers have gotten DSQ from races for breaking the rules (accidentally or willingly) and no one was making a big deal out of it, just admit yall are throwing a tantrum about how totz unfair it is that those two got DSQ, not because of the random testing rule but bc of who it was being DSQ

#in high school we had a major flood that washed out a certain road and a large percentage of students couldn’t come to school for a week #a few years before I started attending the road in front of the school washed out and the students were stuck there overnight #it’s Roanoke so the scar of the flood of ‘85 looms over us all #and the West Virginia flood of 2016 of course. my stepdad was checking totaled cars for bodies for weeks after #floods in the flat lands tend to happen really slowly unless it’s a violent storm surge like Katrina #flash flooding in the valley is something else. it’s violent.

Still taking art commissions and donations.

I need to complete at least 70% of my donation goal by the morning of 5/4, otherwise my family and I are likely going to be without shelter. We are doing what we can to get individual incomes going, but we need help right now.

You guys ever heard of baby races? It's when you take a bunch of babies and line them up, then you get their caretaker to call for them from the finish line. Fastest baby wins.

It's funny because (a) the babies are not aware they're in a race and are just kinda crawling around wherever they want to, and (b) the race is very slow which subverts expectations and plays off the Very Serious™ announcers quite well

But not knowing about it and being slow are totally doable in other contexts.

And for that reason I'm proposing that some Speedsters (cough cough Wally Jesse Bart Ace Avery) hold 'normal-speedster races'. (For context, 'normal-speedster' is the tongue-in-cheek name speedsters use to refer to non speedsters. Speedsters are super-speedsters, non speedsters are 'normal-speedsters'.)

I think they pick a spot and bet on which teammate gets there first. Rules are that you can't interfere or touch the contestants in any way and you cannot directly ask them to come towards you.

disappointed this morning because i put on a cute outfit and wouldn’t be seeing many people while wearing it because all i had to do today was take my car to the shop but good news‼️🤩☺️ i got into a wreck on the highway so a hundred strangers drove past me and saw how cute i looked😇😊🥰😘god works wonders🔥💯👆
